~Star's dream~

Star is walking down the hallway of a new and improved Casper High where everything is as it's supposed to be. It has become a safe place for all students with no bullying, no teachers giving A-listers passes, and no more A-list. Star was on the way to see Danny to tell him her true feelings. When she sees him she waves to him and he waves back. "Hey Danny!" She said.

"Hey Star what's up?" Danny asked.

"Nothing much. I just have something to tell you." Star told him nervously.

"Sure what's up?" He asked.

Star fidget a bit. "I really like you Danny. So I just wanted to ask if you'd be my boyfriend?" She replied as she looked down nervously.

There was silence for a few minutes. Then he started to laugh. The laughter grew as his voice starts to distort. "YOU REALLY THOUGHT THAT I'D DATE YOU?" His voice gets loud as his face becomes monstrous as the walls, floor, and ceiling cracks. "NOT AFTER YOU WERE CALLING ME A FREAK FOR NINE YEARS LIKE THE OTHER A-LISTERS. A FEW MONTHS ISN'T ENOUGH TO HEAL NINE YEARS OF NAME CALLING!" The monstrous Danny moved closer causing a now scared Star to step back as more cracks appeared.

Star shakes from fear. "I'm sorry, I know I... SORRY? YOU THINK SORRY IS ENOUGH?" She tries to explain before monster Danny interrupted her moving forward with more cracks. Star takes another step back falling through the floor into a black void.

She falls trying to change to her ghost form, but fails. As she falls she curls up in a ball repeating as she cries, "I'm sorry! I'm Sorry! I'm sorry!"

~Strong residents Star's room~

Star bolted upright in a cold sweat panting as she checks her surroundings. Once that was done she checked her alarm clock and saw it was only four in the morning the day after the fall formal. It was also the day after she realized her feelings for Danny. She flopped back on her bed grabbing a ghost plushie that Danny gave her. She thought about the nightmare as she hugged the plushie. 'Do I really deserve him after all those years of being a jackass?' She thought.

There was a knock on her door frame. Star looked to see her mom in the doorway. "Everything okay Estella?" Her mother asked.

"Not really." Star replied.

"What's wrong?" Mrs. Strong asked walking to the bed and sitting down.

"I had a nightmare." Star answered. She then explained the nightmare as her mother held her.

At the end Star was in tears. "Shhh! It's alright sweetie. It's alright." Mrs. Strong said trying to soothe her daughter. "Sounds like your scared that he'll hold what you did in the past against you." Star nodded. "Now Estella, from what you told me Danny is a kind boy. So I doubt that he'll hold your past against you."

"I know that, but it doesn't help my fear." Star replied.

"I know sweetheart. I was in a similar position with your dad, but I was much older then you." Mrs. Strong said.

"Really?" Star questioned.

"Really. I was so nervous when I tried talking to him. Though we were in different social status. Your father was a popular kid while I was the shy geek in our last year of high school." Mrs. Strong explained.

Star was shocked at her mothers revelation. Star knew her mom was smart but she thought she was like her. "You were considered a geek?" She asked her mother.

Mrs. Strong chuckled at her daughter's reaction. "Yes I was. I even wore a sweater vest and a long skirt with messy hair, but in the end your father and I got together. However you and Danny are in a different situation. Yes you risk losing your popularity because of corruption in the school, but that won't stop you from being with him." Mrs. Strong said. This kinda cheered up her daughter as Star smiles.

"Thanks mom. You always have something to say, even if it's weird." Star said.

Her mom chuckled, "Any time sweetie. Now try to sleep some more okay?" Her mom kissed her forehead before leaving. "Sleep tight."

"I'll meditate some before sleeping again." Star said.

"Alright." Mrs. Strong said.

When she left Star sighed. Her mom did help some but she still feels bad about all the years she picked on Danny.

~Ghost Zone Clockworks tower~

Clockwork was watching Star from his time portal. "Hmm looks like Miss Strong is struggling with her feelings." He said checking the future again and it changed giving a chance for Dan Phantom to rise in this timeline. "This isn't good. If this continues she'll distance herself from young Daniel." He starts looking through the timelines for the best possible future. Clockwork smiles as he found something. "Ah Miss. Kitty. She's perfect for relationship advice."

~Ghost Zone Johnny Kitty's realm~

Kitty walked out of her room. She's a ghost with gray skin, green hair, red eyes with purple eyeshadow, and purple lipstick. She's wearing a black cut tanktop, red leather jacket, red leather skirt, purple scarf, green fishnet pantiehoes, black highheel boots, a black necklace with a green pendent, black bracelet, and a gold promise ring with a green gem. She walked to the dining table in the realm her and her boyfriend share. Kitty saw two notes on the table, she picked one up and it was from her boyfriend Johnny saying he's out riding. This just made Kitty annoyed cause it was supposed to be their date day. "Ugh, what the fuck Johnny!"

She stormed out before reading the second note as it falls to the floor. It opens and the letter reads, 'Dear Miss Kitty, I know you don't know me, but I need you to help some one. You'll find her blowing up rocks near the permanent ghost portal that opened over a month ago. Signed CW.'

~Ghost Zone at the Fenton portal~

There was movement from the portal, but nothing seems to come out. Star returned to the visible spectrum as she stared in shock. "Well this looks cooler then I thought." Star said to herself. She flaps her wings and fly further. She then took in a breath, even though she didn't need to in her ghost form, and started to blast the rocks around the portal.

After blasting for awhile she accidentally hit a passing ghost sending them flying into a floating island. Star gasped, "Oh my God, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!" She said flying to the ghost.

They rubbed their head as they got up. "It's fine. I could tell you were frustrated." They said. "Damn you got a strong blast though." The ghost held out her hand. "I'm Kitty." Kitty introduced herself.

"I'm Star, but you can call me Phantasm." Star introduced.

"Phantasm, like a hero name?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah kinda. I just see it as a second name for me." Star answered.

"Wait, Phantasm! You're one of the two guardians of that town on the otherside of the portal!" Kitty realized.

"Other ghosts know of us outside of the ones we fight?" Star asked surprised.

"Oh yeah despite how big the Ghost Zone is word spreads very quickly." Kitty replied.

"Wow, never knew how fast ghosts can spread stuff around." Star commented.

"So what got you so frustrated?" Kitty inquired.They sat down and Star told Kitty that she was frustrated with herself for bullying a person that is now her friend who she developed feelings, and how she became friends. "Damn girl! That's pretty rough!"

"Yeah, my mom helped a bit but I still feel pretty bad about it." Star said.

"Well from what you said this guy's a really nice person." Kitty commented. "If he wasn't he'd probably have left you stuck on that railroad track. I know a guy when I was alive who Johnny picked on. He had a chance to help me and Johnny after Johnny's motorcycle lost control, but he was vindictive and just left without helping." Kitty said with a sad expression.

"I'm so sorry that happened to you." Star comforted.

"It's fine. I've gotten over it after so long." Kitty reassured. "Anyways what I'm saying is that I doubt your friend is going to hold what you did against you. He's too kind to do that from what you've said."

This actually cheered Star up the rest of the way. She seemed to just needed someone that wouldn't be biased. "Thanks Kitty you really helped me." She said.

"No problem." Kitty replied. "So you going to tell this lucky guy how you feel?"

"No, I'm still not ready for that." Star answered. They got up and Star was heading back to the portal before saying, "Oh could you spread word that as long as they don't cause trouble ghosts can come out of the Ghost Zone."

"Sure I can do that." Kitty said with a smile.

Star smiled back waving. "Let's hang out some time!" Star called out.

"Yeah let's do that." Kitty agreed.

~Clockwork tower~

Clockwork grins as he saw the future return to how he originally saw when Star became a halfa. "All is as it should be." He said to himself.

AN: now I know people will be curious to why I introduced Kitty now. basically I just wanted to avoid "13" and "Lucky in Love". I did not really like those episodes. I will introduce Johnny in another original chapter, and for the record I cried while writing the dream sequence. Hope you enjoyed.
