*At the Hideout*

The Flash and Green Lantern were waiting for Batman to come back since he had to leave early. They then saw Billy Batson setting up the table and carrying some boxes.

"Need some help, kid?" Hal asked.

"Don't worry, Hal," Billy assured him, "I'm good,"

'You know you can be Shazam again, right?" Barry asked him, a bit confused, why he was back in this normal young adult form, "You can also use your powers to finish setting things up"

"Well, I'm just conversing with my powers, that's all. Besides, Batman is getting some help so I don't need my powers to finish the-" He was interrupted when Flash ran around the area, finishing with the box stacking and quickly setting up the table. He then looked at his partner, who had a big smirk on his face, "Show-off…."

Hal chuckles a bit, "At least Barry did the work for ya, kid"

"True," Billy chuckles a bit before hearing footsteps, "Wonder who that would be?"

"One way to find out, sport," Hal replies.

The three heroes continued to hear the footsteps coming towards their direction. A few seconds later, there were two women walking towards them.

"Hey, boys," Catwoman said with a smile.

"Been a while, Selina," Flash replies with a smile before he sees Harley, "Hey Harleen…"

"Hey speedster, sup greenie?" Harley said, smiling at them before seeing her bestie, "Shazzy!" She ran towards him and gave him a hug, "Oooo! I miss you!"

"Heh, miss you too, Harleen" Billy smiled while blushing.

"Wow… Never knew the chump would go this low…" A voice called out.

"Huh?" Billy asked in shock, "Who said that?" That was when he saw Cyborg, "Oh, hey Vic…"

"Been awhile, Billy…" Cyborg smirked.

"What are you doing here?" Green Lantern asked in mild anger.

"Ask Batman," Cyborg told Hal before other members of the Insurgency and the Regime showed up behind him.

"So, Batman, what did we miss?" Green Lantern asked.

"It's a long story," Batman admits, "We needed more firepower so I'm willing to side with them if it means stopping Brainiac."

"If we can stop Brainiac, then I'm willing to put my differences with them aside for now," The Flash said.

"Same here," Billy said.

The regime members walked up to them, not happy to see their faces. Billy also stood in front of Flash and GL, protecting them just in case. He looked at each member of the regime until he looked at the one who killed him.

"Clark…"

"Billy…"

The two glared at each other for a few seconds until Kara walked in front of her cousin. She looked at the young adult who looked at her back.

'So, this is Billy Batson…' Kara thought to herself, 'Gotta admit, he looks cute… Can't get distracted though. Black Adam told me all about him'

'Woah… Who's this b-beauty?' Billy thought to himself, 'She looks pretty… And she's a blonde, heh… Woah, stay focused, Billy!'

"Who are you?" Billy asked.

"Superman's overprotective and older cousin," Supergirl said.

"Older cousin? You look… short"

"Says the kid who transforms into an adult"

"I'm not a kid… Not anymore, anyways"

The both of them blushed and chuckled for a bit. That was when Supergirl saw some marks on his forehead. They looked like burned marks from lasers. She was about to ask about it when Wonder Woman got between them, "I think that's enough introduction for now" She said while glaring at Billy.

"Y-Yeah, y-you're right" Billy said before walking away.

As everyone was heading to the table, Dick Grayson whispered to the others, "Buzz-Kill"

Almost everyone silently chuckles at his joke except for the serious one considering that they got a job to do. The heroes then headed to the direction of the main room. That was when Cyborg whispered something to Damian, "Do you think we're on the right side?"

"I… I don't think so" Damian admits, "If Superman was lying about Starfire being alive… What if he was lying about the rest?"

"That's what I'm on about… Think you could find anything in the Fortress of Solitude for proof?"

"Maybe…"

Dick Grayson heard everything the two were saying and smiled. They were going to find out about Superman's dark past involvements soon enough.

A few minutes later…

All the superheroes gather at a round table discussion. The superheroes are: Firestorm, Cyborg, Batman, Blue Beetle, Wonder Woman, Red-Wing, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Black Adam, The Flash, Shazam and Green Lantern. The ones who weren't at the table were Blackfire, Lady Arkham, Terra, Kid Flash, Red Hood, Red Robin, Nightwing, Shazam Jr, Mary Marvel and Jinx as they were standing. Superman and Supergirl weren't in the meeting room because he had gone to change his suit, while his cousin waited for him.

However, even though they were all at the table together, doesn't mean that they were happy about it. Anyways, Catwoman unrolls a map which has marks, representing all the cities that Brainiac is going to invade upon.

"Thanks to Shazam and Flash's recons, we have locations for every ship in Brainiac's fleet," Catwoman said, "They're targeting major cities on every continent. Betas are being offloaded on the outskirts…"

...

As Catwoman continues to explain the plan to everyone, Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin and Firestorm go to the corner.

"Give us some privacy" Batman gently ordered Firestorm who does so by creating a circle of fire around them. He then gently hugged his three boys, "I-I…. I'm so happy that you three are alive…"

"Happy to see you too, Bruce," Tim said with a smile.

"Hate to admit it, but… It's good to see ya, too, old man" Jason smirks under his hood.

"Heh, your attitude is still intact" Batman replies with a small smile before looking at Dick Grayson, "I… I miss you, Dick Grayson"

"I know you do," Grayson smiled before asking, "How's things with Alfred and Damian?"

"Alfred's okay, thanks to Damian," Batman admits before adding, "As for him… It's… It's a work in progress… I-I don't know if I'm ready to forgive him…"

"You and me both," Red Hood starts, "Not only did he killed Nightwing, but he took his suit"

Dick Grayson didn't like what Jason Todd was saying so he decided to correct him, "Okay, one: I gave my suit to him as a gift. Second, he didn't mean to kill me! That was an accident. And thirdly, didn't you try to kill all of us… On Purpose?"

"I was going through a phase!" Red Hood corrects him.

Batman then stops them from arguing, "We'll deal with him later," He then turns to Firestorm, "As for you, Firestorm…"

Firestorm looks down in shame as he tries to explain, "L-Listen, Batman… About the prison… We-"

"That was reckless! Don't pull a stunt like that again," Batman told him before turning his attention to his son, "Red Hood, I don't know how you made those green bullets, but shooting bullets at that girl was bad enough as it is"

"That 'girl' is a Kryptonian, just like that monster," Red Hood reminds him before showing his father the green bullets, "And these are Kryptonite bullets… Made them myself"

"Kryptonite bullets, huh? Impressive…" Batman admits, "Hold onto them, but don't use them on Supergirl again… She's still young"

"Fine…" Red Hood begrudgingly agrees before asking, "Can I use them on Superman?" He had a smirk under the hood.

"Very well… But, don't kill him" The Dark Knight then turns to Firestorm, "Firestorm, make up for your reckless actions back from the prison by finishing another mission… Discreetly"

...

Back to the round table discussion, Catwoman continues discussing the plan, "We've to evacuate these cities before attacking the fleet, but we need communications restored first. So before we get started, Cyborg's going to fix Brother Eye." She finished while looking at the half-man/half-machine. That was when Firestorm and The Bat Family went back to the table.

"I'm not 'Bat-Tech' support! Cyborg states in anger, which is somewhat justified considering Batman was the one who planted a virus within him on the day they met.

"That's not the issue, Victor," A voice called out.

Into the light comes Supergirl...and Clark Kent once again decked out as Superman. He then walks to the table, all eyes on him.

"Kara saw firsthand how Brainiac destroyed Krypton," Superman starts, "She says we have less than 48 hours before he does the same to Earth."

"Without tight coordination, we'll lose valuable time." Batman adds.

"And that means we fix Brother Eye" Superman finished while looking at Cyborg, who winces a bit at the thought of working for Batman but reluctantly agrees.

"Catwoman and Harley will join you," Batman tells Cyborg, "You'll need their help getting into the Batcave."

Cyborg rolls his eyes and retorts with confidence, "Just gimme the coordinates. I'll open a portal and boom-tube in."

"You can't. I reverse-engineered your armor's Mother Box technology."

"Try teleportin' into the Batcave. 'stead of boom, you'll go splat!" Harley said, obviously joking. However, Kara starts giggling after hearing that.

"So, how do we get in?" Cyborg asked.

"The old underground," Catwoman answers, "There's a tunnel entrance under Arkham."

"I'm taking you two to Arkham Asylum?!" Cyborg asked, not really happy about that.

There was some awkward silence until Harley pops her bubble gum while chewing it, "Promise it won't be awkward or nothin'" Harley assures him with a smile, while Kara continues to giggle.

"Fine… but your 'Chump' is coming with us!" Cyborg states to Harley, pointing at Shazam.

"Ooooooo! Sure!"

Kara was confused by the nickname, "Um, 'chump'?"

"Billy's nickname" Cyborg smirked in a rude way.

"One: Not her "chump"," Billy Batson corrects Cyborg, "And second, fine, I'll tag along"

Harley Quinn smiled, hearing that her soon-to-be-boyfriend was tagging along with them. However, she didn't notice Supergirl's jealously on her face.

"I need a few hours in the solarium at the Fortress of Solitude," Superman said before looking at Batman, "Assuming you haven't torn it down."

"Not yet" Batman states.

"Damian, Arkham, Adam, You're with me."

That was when Wonder Woman stood up, "And the rest of us? We can't just sit here!" She told the Man of Steel.

Batman then spoke up, "We plan our attack. Once Brother Eye's online, we mobilize," Next, he stands and reminds everyone, "Remember. Out there, there's no Regime. Not anymore. So we do. Not. Kill."

There was awkward silence among them. While the Insurgency members agreed with this (except for Red Hood), the Regime members (except for Supergirl who still doesn't know and agreed with the no killing people) didn't like the 'No Kill' rule. However, they knew that they must follow Batman's plan until the opportunity presents itself for them to take control back. Everyone was staying silent while Superman glared at Batman.

"Let's go"

Everyone started standing up and leaving the table, one by one. That was when Wonder Woman gently grabbed Supergirl's arm, "You're with me" She took the hero-in-training with her, with Supergirl being gently shocked by this.

Now… It was only Batman and Superman left… Alone… in the meeting room. That was when Superman broke the silence.

"Why'd you keep it?"

"Keep what?" Batman asked.

Superman pulls off the cover on the table, revealing the Justice League table. It was cracked though, meaning that the Justice League was no more years ago.

"Hm. Forgot that was there." Batman shrugs and leaves Superman by himself.

Superman looks down at the table, remembering the meetings he and Batman lead with the rest of the League… and smiles at the thought of the League Reuniting to stop Brainiac. And more importantly… Beat Brainiac and Batman at the same time to restore his Regime.
