Another Chapter!? And so soon!?

Well damn!

I'm on fire! Correction, we're all on fire lads!

Now enough jib jabbing. Let's get on with it!

Start:

The military Humvee roared past the gate, its engine thundering through the early morning stillness like a waking beast. Dawn was just breaking, casting a pale light over the landscape that gleamed off the Humvee's rugged, armored body. Its paint, a matte black, absorbed the light, giving the vehicle a stealthy, almost spectral appearance as it sped down the deserted streets.

Designed for durability and toughness, the Humvee was a formidable sight. Its reinforced frame and bulletproof glass, coupled with an array of mounted accessories like extra fuel tanks and a heavy-duty winch, spoke of a machine built for survival and combat.

The tires, thick and grooved for maximum traction, kicked up debris and dust as the vehicle barreled forward, the noise of its passage echoing off the buildings in a cacophony of raw power.

Inside, the atmosphere was charged with a palpable intensity. Alfred, with his decades of experience, handled the vehicle with expert precision, his eyes scanning the road ahead while his hands moved with assured, calculated motions on the steering wheel.

Beside him, Takashi sat alert and watchful, surveying their surroundings for any signs of trouble.

In the back, the space was cramped but organized. Naruto, Rei, Issei, and Akeno were gearing up, checking their equipment and weapons. Despite the early hour, their energy was high.

Naruto, sitting with a nonchalant ease that belied the seriousness of their mission, twirled a kunai between his fingers, his gaze observing those around him.

He had been doing so for a while, trying to get a feel for how everyone currently was and came upon several conclusions when it came to each of the comrades around him.

Annoying orange clearly looked agitated, though she tried to mask it with determination, her restless eyes and the way she gripped her spear, resting it on her lap, betrayed her impatience. Overall, she needed an emotional break and Naruto was going to be merciful for once and give it to her.

Naruto's gaze discreetly moved over to the ravenette on the other side of him.

Akeno Himejima was the polar opposite of Rei. Composed, relaxed, and exuding an aura of serene patience, she moved and sat with an effortless grace that was captivating to observe.

She had a professional air about her, dressed in a neatly tucked white button shirt, complemented further by gray striped black pants. A business woman look that exuded charm.

This was the first time Naruto had a clear view of her, and he couldn't help but acknowledge her stunning beauty.

Akeno's obsidian black hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, cascading down her back with a smooth, silky sheen. Her face was breathtakingly beautiful, with full, moist lips that hinted at a gentle smile, and almond-shaped eyes that shone with a startling shade of amethyst.

Long, dark eyelashes danced above her eyes, adding a touch of allure to her gaze. Her features were flawless, further enhanced by her smooth, milky complexion that seemed to glow with an ethereal light.

Overall, it was just as he had thought earlier, her face was extremely beautiful, and one that definitely could cause supermodels to go green with envy.

And Akeno wasn't just blessed with a divinely beautiful face, oh no.

The Jiraiya within him knew that she sported a curvaceous figure, a fact that was fully confirmed as his gaze drifted down and caught sight of two massive breasts that pushed outwards, the size of them forcing Akeno to have unbuttoned the top two buttons lest it get extremely uncomfortable for her.

But as a result, anyone who stared at her chest area was afforded with a nice view of a large milky cleavage that bounced and jiggled and basically tempted many men and women to bury their face in there.

And considering the size of her cleavage, and the size of her humongous breasts, which nearly rivaled Shizuka's size but was one or two cups down, Akeno could very well smother a man or woman to death with those huge tits.

Definitely not the worst way to die, all things considered.

Now it was hard to judge everything else considering her seated position but he had no doubt that her lower body was just as, if not even better than her upper body. But he could always find out later.

As Naruto continued to observe her, he couldn't help but compare her beauty to Shizuka's.

Both women were undeniably beautiful, but in distinctly different ways. Shizuka's beauty was warm and inviting, like the sun—a radiance that drew people in effortlessly and made them feel at ease.

Akeno, on the other hand, had a more enigmatic allure, like the moon—captivating and serene, with a beauty that hinted at hidden depths and secrets. It was a fascinating contrast, with Akeno embodying a cool, mysterious charm that complemented Shizuka's sunny disposition.

Deciding to have a bit of fun with the ravenette, Naruto mentally dubbed her "Tits," a nickname he was sure would be amusing to use later. He anticipated enjoying the lighthearted teasing that would come with it.

Shifting his attention away from her, Naruto's gaze landed on the last member of the group, Issei Hyoudou.

Issei's appearance was, to say the least, peculiar. His hair was styled in a way that Naruto found odd, spiked and tousled in a manner that seemed to defy gravity, giving him a wild, almost chaotic look.

Coupled with his current expression, a creepy, perverse grin as he not-so-discreetly ogled Rei, not that Naruto could really blame him, and Issei's appearance bordered on unattractive. The combination of his bizarre hairstyle and the lecherous look on his face did nothing to improve his outward demeanor.

Given Issei's weird hair, the perverted expression, and his overall behavior, Naruto could only think of one nickname that suited him perfectly: "Negative Jiraiya." In Naruto's eyes, Issei was this world's version of Jiraiya, but he lacked all the charm, good looks, and charisma that his godfather had possessed in abundance.

Overall, Naruto found himself with a rather unique set of comrades when one didn't forgot about the front passengers, "Rotten Cheeseburger," the straightforward and determined Takashi, and the ever-cool and composed Alfred, who, due to his impressive demeanor, Naruto decided to simply call Alfred.

Reflecting on his team, he chuckled inwardly at the assortment of personalities and skills.

His team included a man wielding a baseball bat, an impulsive orange-haired lady with a long spear—a mental wording he chose to ignore for its oddity—a professional yet intriguingly chaotic butler, an Artemis but with a rifle, and an inexperienced pervert. It was quite the eclectic mix, each bringing something unique to the table.

"Alright, so first thing's first," Naruto began, breaking the contemplative silence that had settled in the Humvee. "We need to figure out how we're going to get things done. Let's get a couple of questions sorted out. One, where are we headed right now? Two, are we returning to the Takagi estate after we're done searching, or are we finding another place to stay, maybe even in the Humvee? And three, what about supplies? I imagine we'd need to look for those too."

Alfred, the epitome of professionalism, responded promptly. "Master Naruto, our initial destination is Master Takashi's residence, as it is the closest. Following that, we shall proceed to Miss Rei's home. Should we not find their families there, our next course of action will be to search for any clues or hints they may have left behind, such as a note."

"And failing that, we will extend our search to their workplaces or other likely locations they might have sought refuge." The Takagi butler added.

Alfred continued, addressing the second question with his usual composed demeanor. "Regarding our return to the Takagi estate, it remains our primary objective if circumstances permit. However, this will depend heavily on the conditions we encounter and whether it is feasible to return immediately. Flexibility is key in ensuring the success of our mission."

Naruto nodded thoughtfully, appreciating the clarity and thoroughness of Alfred's plan. The rest of the group, except for Akeno, displayed a range of reactions from slight unease to determined readiness at the prospect of not having a fixed return plan. The ex-shinobi nodded again, his mind processing the necessity for adaptability in their plans. The gravity of their mission was beginning to sink in for everyone, the weight of the uncertainty pressing down. Akeno, however, remained composed and focused, her calm demeanor a steadying influence.

Akeno then took over, her voice calm and confident, adding to the discussion with her precise insights. "As for supplies, we will gather them whenever possible. This includes food, medical supplies, ammunition, and any other essentials we come across during our search. We must be vigilant and opportunistic, ensuring we remain well-equipped for the duration of our mission."

"Sounds like a good plan to me." The blonde replied simply.

Issei, ever the curious and somewhat naive member of the group, turned his attention to Alfred, his question reflecting his inexperience. "Why did we have to make the engine of the Humvee so loud? Couldn't we have picked a quieter one?"

Alfred, maintaining his stoic and composed demeanor, replied with a hint of a smile, his voice carrying a tone of patient explanation. "Master Hyoudou, the noise generated by this vehicle serves a strategic purpose. By drawing the undead away from the Takagi estate, we significantly reduce the risk to those remaining behind. It is a tactical decision that benefits our overall mission and enhances the safety of our base. Additionally, the sound can help us gauge the density of the undead in our vicinity, allowing us to adjust our strategy accordingly."

"I see. That makes sense," Issei acknowledged, nodding slowly as he absorbed Alfred's explanation, his curiosity somewhat satisfied.

"I didn't get the chance to say this earlier, but... thank you, Naruto," Takashi spoke up, glancing over his shoulder to lock eyes with the blonde. His voice carried a genuine tone of gratitude, his eyes reflecting sincere appreciation for Naruto's unexpected decision to join them.

Rei perked up at Takashi's words, her gaze shifting to Naruto, who had surprised her with his earnest care the previous night. "Yeah, thank you. You can be an asshole sometimes, but it was really nice of you to come join us. We really appreciate it," she added, her tone a mix of sincerity and the faintest hint of teasing, recalling Naruto's more abrasive moments with a smirk.

Naruto grunted in response, clearly unbothered by being called an asshole. "You don't have to thank me, Annoying Orange, Rotten Cheeseburger. I did promise to help back at Rika's place after all."

For once, the nickname didn't seem to bother Rei. Instead, she flashed a large, genuine, grateful smile at the blonde. "Still, thank you."

Naruto nodded, his gaze softening towards the spear-wielding woman, appreciating her gratitude.

"I have to ask, but what's with the names?" Issei questioned, chuckling lightly, clearly curious about the unusual monikers that Naruto had given his teammates.

Naruto turned an irritated gaze towards him, annoyed by Issei's audacity to question the nicknames. "You got a problem with that? Negative Jiraiya?"

"Negative Jiraiya?" Everyone except Alfred repeated in unison, taken aback by the unusual nickname.

"Jiraiya is a man I know who happens to be the biggest pervert I ever met, but he was a good man. I can already tell that you're super perverted like him, but unlike him, you don't have the swag or the good looks."

For a moment, the Humvee was silent as everyone absorbed Naruto's explanation. Then, laughter erupted inside the vehicle. Takashi, Rei, and even Akeno couldn't help but chuckle at the comparison, their laughter filling the space and lightening the mood considerably.

Alfred remained unflappable, his stoic demeanor unchanged, while Issei's face turned a deep shade of red, a mix of embarrassment and amusement at the nickname bestowed upon him.

Takashi wiped a tear from the corner of his eye, still chuckling. "Negative Jiraiya, huh? That's actually pretty funny."

Rei, caught between amusement and annoyance, nodded in agreement, as she had noticed Issei's gaze on her a few times in the past couple of minutes. "Yeah, it kind of suits him," she agreed, deciding for once to not be confrontational about his obvious ogling, though her expression clearly communicated that she was aware and not particularly pleased.

Akeno, her laughter more controlled but no less genuine, added, "Well, at least now we have a nickname for almost everyone. It adds a bit of character to our group."

Issei, still red-faced and clearly embarrassed but trying to take it in stride, shrugged. "I guess I'll just have to work on the swag and good looks part."

Naruto smirked, his earlier irritation fading as he enjoyed the light-hearted banter. "You do that, Negative Jiraiya."

Akeno's eyes twinkled with mischief as she fluttered her long eyelashes playfully at Naruto, her seductive charm in full effect. "Are you always a naughty boy?"

Unphased by her flirtatious approach, Naruto replied with a grin, "Only one way to find out, tits."

The ravenette blinked in surprise at the bold nickname, her eyes widening slightly. The rest of the group, except for Alfred, were momentarily stunned by Naruto's audacity, their reactions ranging from wide eyes to loose jaws.

Recovering quickly, Akeno let out a soft, melodious giggle that seemed to fill the space with a light, pleasant sound. Her laugh was warm and enchanting, carrying a hint of genuine amusement. "I already like you," she remarked, her tone playful and approving.

Naruto winked playfully in response, clearly enjoying the playful exchange. "Name's Naruto Uzumaki, pleased to make your acquaintance, Tits."

Akeno smiled, her eyes twinkling with intrigue. "Akeno Himejima, delighted to meet you, Naruto."

Rei, feeling the camaraderie growing, decided to join in. "Rei Miyamoto," she said, her tone carrying a mix of determination and casualness as she gazed at the only other woman in the group before it shifted to the other two Takagi agents. "Thank you for coming here with us."

Takashi followed, nodding in acknowledgment. "Takashi Komuro. We appreciate your support. It means a lot."

The ravenette only smiled in response at the pair.

Issei, still blushing from the earlier exchange, introduced himself next. "Issei Hyoudou. Nice to meet everyone. And we're happy to be here. I'll do my best to help out."

Finally, Alfred, ever the composed professional, added his introduction with a slight bow. "Alfred Pennyworth, at your service. It is an honor to assist you all."

Issei, curiosity piqued, glanced at Naruto with a questioning look. "So, Naruto, what's Alfred's nickname?"

The question sparked a ripple of interest among the group, even Alfred seemed subtly intrigued, though his demeanor remained outwardly stoic.

Naruto shrugged, shaking his head slightly. "Alfred's too cool for a nickname, he's just Alfred—nothing more, nothing less."

Alfred, his posture straight and dignified, responded with a slight nod of appreciation. "It pleases me greatly that you hold me in such high regard, Master Naruto. I shall endeavor to live up to your expectations."

'Damn, I really like this guy.' Naruto thought with a grin. There was just something about him that was just so likable.

It was probably how down to earth he was despite being so professional and all.

Comfortable silence reined inside within the Humvee as everyone sat in a much more relaxed manner, the tension dissipating with the idle conversation that now flowed between everyone.

Even Naruto found himself engaging in idle banter.

Sadly, it could not last forever.

Alfred, maintaining his focus on the road, cut in with his usual composed demeanor. "We should arrive at our destination in approximately fifteen minutes," he announced, his tone calm and precise.

Just like that, tension returned back inside as the grim reminder of reality set itself back in.

Takashi, breaking the brief silence that followed Alfred's update, looked around at his team. "Alright, let's make sure we're ready. We need to stay sharp and be prepared for anything."

Rei nodded, her earlier agitation now transformed into a steely determination. "We'll be ready," she affirmed, her grip tightening on her spear.

Time-skip: Fifteen minutes later

The Humvee began to slow as they entered Takashi's neighborhood, the familiar surroundings evoking a complex mix of hope and anxiety in both Takashi and Rei. The once bustling streets now lay eerily quiet, the silence occasionally interrupted by the distant, haunting sounds of the undead.

Alfred expertly brought the vehicle to a halt, his movements smooth and deliberate. "We have reached our destination. Exercise caution and maintain formation as we proceed," he instructed, his tone measured and authoritative, embodying a calm yet commanding presence.

The team, with the exception of Alfred, disembarked from the Humvee. Akeno positioned herself close to the door next to Alfred, with the rest of the group gathering behind her.

Alfred, still seated in the driver's seat, addressed them with a calm assurance. "It is imperative that I drive away to divert the attention of the zombies. Once your affairs have been concluded, notify me, Miss Akeno, and I shall return promptly."

Akeno nodded, her walkie-talkie securely strapped to her hip, the counterpart device resting next to Alfred inside the vehicle. "Understood, Alfred. We'll contact you as soon as we're ready."

Satisfied with her response, Alfred smoothly drove away, the Humvee's roaring engine fading into the distance as he sought to maximize the group's safety by drawing the noise away from the neighborhood.

Now left on their own, the team of five scanned their surroundings. Takashi's gaze remained fixated on his family home, a torrent of emotions swirling within him like a whirlpool, so intense that he could hardly focus on anything else.

Without a word, he power-walked toward the house, desperation evident in his stride. The rest of the team followed close behind, recognizing the danger of lingering on the open street.

Inside the house, they quickly began their search, methodically moving through each room with a mix of urgency and dread. Each creak of the floorboards and the echo of their footsteps amplified the eerie silence that hung heavily in the air. The familiar surroundings, once a source of comfort, now felt alien and foreboding.

Takashi moved through the house with increasing desperation, his eyes darting to every corner, his hands trembling as he searched for any sign of his family. Every empty room and untouched piece of furniture only heightened his anxiety, the silence pressing down on him like a weight.

Rei, her eyes filled with concern, called out softly as she moved through the house. "Mr. and Mrs. Komuro? Are you here?" Her voice, tinged with hope and fear, echoed through the empty halls, the lack of response deepening the sinking feeling in her chest.

After nearly three-fourths of an hour of fruitless searching for any sign, any note, any clue that could guide them, most of the team began to sense the hopelessness of staying here. The atmosphere grew heavier with each passing minute, the reality of the situation sinking in.

Rei, recognizing the mounting tension in Takashi, gently approached him. Her voice, though tinged with irritation from their exhaustive search, was softened by concern. "Takashi-Kun, we've looked everywhere. There's nothing here that tells us where they are. Maybe we should—"

Takashi, unable to contain his frustration any longer, exploded. His voice rose with a mix of anger and desperation, his eyes wild with fear. "We can't just leave! They should have left something behind. We're just not looking hard enough!"

Rei, though startled by his outburst, was determined to remain composed. She matched his volume instinctively, her voice firm yet filled with empathy. "I know you're worried, but shouting won't help us find them! We need to stay calm and think clearly!"

Naruto, sensing the situation escalating, quickly stepped between them. His tone was firm but calming, his presence a steadying force amidst the rising tension. "Both of you, calm down. Take a deep breath. We can't afford to lose our heads right now. Breathe," he instructed, his voice carrying a soothing authority.

Takashi and Rei, recognizing the wisdom in Naruto's words, did as they were told. They took deep, shaky breaths.

"Now breath again." Naruto ordered. "Inhale deeply and keep the air in for five seconds before exhaling. And then do that again two more times."

They did as commanded, their tension slowly easing as they followed his guidance.

Takashi, feeling the weight of his fear and frustration lifting slightly, took a moment to compose himself. His shoulders slumped, and the desperation in his eyes softened. "I'm sorry, Rei. I didn't mean to yell. I'm just... scared."

Rei, her expression softening with understanding, placed a comforting hand on his arm. Her eyes, though still glistening with unshed tears, reflected a deep empathy. "I know, Takashi-Kun. I'm sorry too. We're all scared, but we need to stay together and think straight."

"Annoying orange is right." Naruto looked over to the set of stairs that led to the ground level of the house. "Let's go join tits and negative Jiraiya."

The two nodded at his words and the trio rejoined Akeno and Issei in the kitchen, the atmosphere still heavy but now tinged with a renewed sense of resolve.

Rei, sensing the depth of Takashi's turmoil, leaned into him, her hand gently resting on his arm. Her touch was both comforting and reassuring, a silent promise that they would face whatever came next together. "Takashi-Kun, we'll find them," she whispered softly, her voice filled with gentle determination. "No matter what, we won't give up."

Takashi turned to her, the intensity of his earlier frustration giving way to a softer, more grateful expression. "Thank you, Rei," he replied, his voice thick with emotion. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Akeno, standing nearby with her usual calm and composed demeanor, offered a warm, reassuring smile. "We will help you, no matter how long it takes Takashi-Kun.

"Yeah man." Issei spoke up with a confident grin. "So don't sweat it. We'll find your family, both your families." He corrected himself as he switched his gaze back and forth between the bat-wielding teen and his girl.

"As much as I enjoy watching princesses hug and comfort one another, we don't have time for that." Naruto sarcastically spoke up before his expression turned serious. "We can't afford to waste time, let's call Alfred and head to Rei's place next."

Everyone nodded, though Rei looked at the blonde wide-eyed, surprised by the use of her first name.

It was strange.

Akeno, her movements calm and deliberate, reached for her walkie-talkie with practiced ease. "Alfred, we're ready for pickup. Please return to our location."

Alfred's voice crackled through the device, his tone calm and reassuring, a steady anchor in the storm of their emotions. "Understood, Miss Akeno. I shall be with you shortly. Please ensure all are ready for departure."

As they waited, Naruto turned to Takashi and Rei, his gaze firm and encouraging. "We'll find them. This is just the first step. Stay strong."

Takashi nodded, his resolve hardening like tempered steel, a fierce determination lighting his eyes. "I will. Thanks, Naruto."

Rei tightened her grip on Takashi's arm, her expression filled with empathy and unwavering support. "We're all scared, but we have to stay together and think clearly. We'll get through this, Takashi."

Akeno, sensing the need for a strategic focus, chimed in with her calm and measured voice. "Our next objective is Rei's place. We need to stay alert and be prepared for anything. Let's gather any clues and supplies we can find."

Issei, eager to contribute and support his team, added with a determined nod. "And we should keep an eye out for anything useful. Every bit of information and supplies could make a difference."

Naruto, appreciating the collective resolve of his team, nodded in agreement. "Exactly. We need to be thorough and efficient. Every piece of information, every supply we find, could be crucial to our mission."

It was around ten minutes later when the Humvee's engine soon became audible again, a distant rumble growing louder as it approached, signaling Alfred's return. The sound of the vehicle brought a sense of urgency and focus back to the group, reminding them of the task at hand.

As the Humvee came into view, Alfred maneuvered it with precision, bringing it to a stop just outside the house. His presence, even from within the vehicle, exuded a calm authority that helped steady the nerves of the team.

Naruto looked around at his team, each member reflecting a mix of emotions but united by a common goal. "Alright, everyone. Let's move out. Stay close and stay sharp."

With a final nod of agreement, the team moved out of the house, their steps purposeful and coordinated as they headed back to the Humvee.

As they climbed back into the Humvee, Alfred's calm voice greeted them, a reassuring presence amidst the chaos. "Now let us depart to miss Rei's place. And do not fret Master Takashi, we shall find your family."

"I hope so." The teen murmured softly. "Thank you Alfred."

"Of course sir."

Having said his piece, and seeing everyone else ready, Alfred turned his full attention to the road and drove down to the next spot on the list.
