Now that Davis has managed to gain his fifth badge, our heroes are now heading for Unus City so that he may gain his sixth badge.
"Unus City, here we come." Davis said.
"I'm just glad that we're out of that desert and back into the lush green." Terra said as she took in the scenery. "The clean fresh air, the clear blue sky, the beautiful flowers, and that giant tower over there." As soon as she said that, they all stopped in their tracks and took a look at what it was. It was an actual white tower out in the middle of nowhere. "What the heck?! What is that tower all about?!"
"Take a closer look. Isn't that a bunch of flying pokemon around it?" Imperialdramon questioned. They all took a closer look and saw there were bunch of flying pokemon up there.
"What is that place?" Cletus questioned.
"It's called Titan Tower. It's designed for trainers with their flying pokemon." They all turned around and were met with a young man. He had silver hair and wore a headband that had a set of wings on it. He wore a grey outfit that covered his body with him wearing long gloves and boots. "If you have a flying pokemon, you might love it there."
"A place for flying pokemon?" Davis questioned as this sounded rather interesting.
Through the water, forest, and up in the sky

(Davis' voice): High as the Sky
"This tower was built by someone who greatly loved flying-type pokemon. He wanted to feel like what it was like to be high in the sky." The man said as he showed them to the tower. "Members only are allowed here, but you can come in and check it out because you have me." He brought them to the tower so they could see it for themselves. The man swiped a membership card right into a slot and that allowed the door to open up.
"So, you're a member? Members only make it sound like it's some sort of fancy club." Terra said.
"It is a little fancy, but what can you do? I've been coming here for a while since flying-type pokemon are my favorite." The man said as he showed them to an elevator so they could check out the top. "By the way, my name is Kaze."
"My name is Davis, and the big guy behind me is Imperialdramon."
"My name is Terra."
"And I'm Cletus."
"Nice to meet all of you." Kaze said once the elevator came down. "If you have any flying pokemon, they'll love it." They all got in the elevator and headed straight up. They all rode on the elevator for a while until they reached the very top of the tower. When they did, Davis and the others were actually impressed with what they saw. The top of the tower had a dining area for others to enjoy with a glass walkway going around the tower. What's more is that there's a beautiful view. As for the members, they all were dressed a little fancy.
"Wow. Look at this place." Davis said as he and the others loved it. Clearly, a good first impression.
"It's amazing up here." Terra said.
"It's hard to believe something like this is up here." Cletus said.
"That's right. It's certainly an incredible spot." Kaze said. "The glass walkway that goes around it is meant to give you the feeling that you're really up in the air. As for the pokemon, they love it." They all looked around and saw all the pokemon flying around. They all seemed so happy and carefree. "I love coming here. It makes me feel like my troubles and worries are gone with the wind."
"It is pretty nice up here." Imperialdramon said.
"I'll say." Davis said. He reached for his pokeballs for he knew someone else might love it. "Bluja, come on out!"
"Bluja!"
"Check this place out, Bluja. You get to fly all you like around here." Davis said. Bluja looked around and felt like it was at home here.
"Bluja!" Bluja certainly appeared to love it as it flew up and tried enjoying itself.
"I told you that flying pokemon would love it up here." Kaze said.
"And I can see why." Davis said as he continued to look around the place until something caught his eye. He saw two people standing on a battlefield made of glass and were battling each other.
"Butterfree, let's use Gust!"
"Bree!"
"Endure it, Koffing!" Koffing let the attack came and tried to hold on against the wind.
"No way! You can have battles up here?!" Davis said.
"Of course. What better way for a pokemon and trainer to really enjoy themselves up in the air than to battle?" Kaze said. "It looks like Butterfree and Koffing are battling well."
"Butterfree and Koffing?" Terra questioned. She aimed her pokedex and learned more about them.
"Butterfree, the Butterfly Pokemon. A bug and flying-type, and the evolve form of Metapod. Butterfree's wings are capable of producing a toxic dust."
"Koffing, the Poison Gas Pokemon. A poison-type. It's body is filled with poisonous gas that keep it afloat. It tends to float near dumps to breathe in rotten trash."
"But Koffing isn't a flying-type." Terra said.
"As long as your pokemon can fly, it doesn't matter." Kaze said.
"Koffing, now use Gyro Ball!" It's trainer called. Koffing flew straight at Butterfree with great spinning motion and smashed right into Butterfree to win the battle. She was quite happy with the win, but having a battle in the sky like that is pretty interesting.
"Wow! Battling in the sky like this gives new meaning to having your head in the clouds." Davis said. "Bluja might be a flyer, but we haven't had a battle like this. I've got to find someone to have a battle with right now. Bluja!" Bluja flew over and landed right on his arm. "You want to have a battle?"
"Bluja!"
"So, you wish to have a battle, Davis?" Kaze questioned.
"Yeah. This might be a nice warm-up for when I have my Unus City gym battle." Davis said.
"Is that so? Well, I'm always up for a battle myself. I'll gladly take you on." Kaze said.
"Great!" Davis said.
"I be happy to serve as the ref if you would like." Cletus offered.
"That would be great. Okay, Davis, let's see if you are a high flyer yourself." Kaze said. The two of them went out on the glass battlefield and took their positions. Davis was a little anxious standing on mere glass hundreds of feet in the air. Still, he wasn't going to turn down from a battle. "Here is the pokemon I will use. Let's go, Talonflame!" He called out his pokemon.
"Talonflame!"
"Talonflame?" Terra said as she saw a new pokemon again and used her pokedex.
"Talonflame, the Scorching Pokemon. A fire and flying-type, and the evolve form of Fletchinder. It has great flying capabilities. It can ignite sparks in the gabs between its feathers, and they can be used as fireproof material."
"Sounds like it's one tough pokemon. Sure hope little Bluja will be okay." Terra said.
"Bluja's a fighter. Everything will be fine." Imperialdramon said.
"Let's get this battle started! Bluja, start with Wing Attack!" Davis called.
"Bluja!" Bluja flew right at Talonflame with its wings set to attack. Kaze was ready, more so as he felt the breeze coming in from behind him.
"Talonflame, Flame Charge!" Kaze called.
"Talonflame!" Talonflame ignited itself on fire and dived straight at Bluja. Poor Bluja didn't stand a chance. Once they made contact, Bluja was knocked straight into the battlefield.
"Get up, Bluja! Don't back down already!" Davis encouraged. Bluja was able to get back up and got back in the battle. "That's good! Now use Quick Attack!" Bluja flew right at Talonflame with great speed.
"Fast, but not good enough. Aerial Ace!" Kaze called. Talonflame charged right at Bluja and it was the same result. Bluja's attack did nothing while Talonflame's attack did a lot of damage. "Can't you feel the breeze, Davis?"
"The breeze?" Davis questioned.
"That's right. Can't you feel the breeze blowing against you rather than with you?" Kaze questioned. "At a high altitude like this, the breeze is rather strong. While your fighting against it, we're using it to boost out attacks like an updraft. That's aiding in our attack power."
"No way!" Davis said as he couldn't believe he could do something like that.
"I'm afraid so, and it doesn't feel like it's ending." Kaze warned. "With that in mind, as long as we keep our backs to the wind, our attacks will get a bit of a boost."
"But what if you don't know where to aim? Bluja, Double Team!" Davis called. Bluja made multiple copies of itself and had Talonflame surrounded. "Now you don't know if Bluja is attacking from the front or the back. Now, let's use Wing Attack!" All the copies of Bluja attacked together.
"That won't help. Talonflame, Flare Blitz!" Kaze called. Talonflame ignited itself in a burst of blue energy. Once it did that, it flew around and attacked every copy of Bluja until it hit the real Bluja. After the attack, Talonflame had some static coming off it. "Flare Blitz might cause some recoil damage, but that's just fine."
"Bluja! Can you keep battling?!" Davis said.
"Blu... Blu..." Bluja took some hard hits, but the little one was still trying to keep battling.
"My, you certainly are a tough little one." Kaze said. "I'm impressed someone as little as you could take all those powerful attacks and keep going."
"Bluja might be small, but also a fighter." Davis said. "There's no way we're going to give up or back down just because someone seems bigger and tougher. Isn't that right, Bluja? I've known that since the day we first met. You're always up for a battle."
"Bluja!"
"That's right. So let's..." Davis was going to keep up the motivation, but that was when something began to happen. Bluja flew back up into the sky as it began to glow. "No way! Is it finally happening?!"
"Bluja's starting to evolve!" Imperialdramon said as they all watched in amazement at what they were seeing. Bluja grew much bigger with a broader frame. When the glow vanished, Bluja looked just like a blue jay bird with its blue feathers as blue as the sky.
"Skyjay!"
"Davis, your Bluja has just evolved into a Skyjay!" Kaze claimed.
"Skyjay?" Davis questioned. He pulled out his pokedex to learn more about his new pokemon.
"Skyjay, the Sky Pokemon. A normal and flying type, and the evolve form of Bluja. Skyjay's feathers are designed to make it's flying capabilities to match the speed and trajectory of an arrow."
"This is awesome! Skyjay, let's see what you can do now! Show me your Wing Attack!" Davis called. Skyjay flew straight at Talonflame and was able to land the attack this time for Skyjay had more speed and power to those attacks. "Nice shot!"
"Skyjay!"
"Not bad. Your Skyjay is still quite the fighter, but I'm afraid it evolved a little too late." Kaze said. "Talonflame, Brave Bird!"
"We won't back down! Wing Attack again!" Davis called. The two pokemon flew right at each other and got ready to attack. The two of them collided against each other, but Skyjay was the one that was knocked out of the battle.
"Skyjay!" Davis called as he hurried over to help Skyjay out.
"Skyjay is unable to battle, so Talonflame wins and the victory goes to Kaze!" Cletus declared.
"Nicely done, Talonflame. You were flying high as always." Kaze said as he brought Talonflame back to its pokeball.
"Skyjay, are you okay?" Davis asked as he tried to held Skyjay up.
"Sky..."
"You should be proud with how well Skyjay battled." Kaze said.
"I am, but it looks like we still got some work to do." Davis said. "No worries. We'll get the hang of it." He assured with Skyjay feeling confident as well.

Later
"Kaze, thanks for showing us the tower." Cletus said as they were all going to part ways.
"Yeah. The battle really helped my new Skyjay." Davis said. "Skyjay also really enjoyed being able to fly through the sky like that."
"Good. I can't wait to battle it again, which will be sooner than you think." Kaze claimed, but they didn't get it. "You're challenging the Unus Gym, aren't you? Well, the truth is that I'm the gym leader."
"You?!" Davis said as they were all shocked to hear that.
"That must mean that his gym specializes in flying-types!" Terra said.
"That's right, and I got a look at how tough you and your pokemon are. I can't wait to see if you've gotten any stronger when you come to challenge my gym." Kaze claimed and then left to return to that gym. Now that Davis met the gym leader, he knows what to expect.
"So Kaze's the gym leader... Well, that works just fine with me. It gives Skyjay the chance to get a rematch." Davis said. "The next time we battle, we'll be ready." Now that he knows what to expect himself, Davis will be ready for his next battle with Kaze.
After having a battle up in the sky, Davis got to meet his opponent for his next gym battle. With his newly evolved Skyjay, you can be sure they will be stronger the next time they face Kaze. That gym battle is coming up, so don't miss it when it comes.
