Our heroes have found themselves in another dangerous set of circumstances. Upon reuniting with Simon of the Elite Four, Team Twilight has attacked the Nyxer Museum. They are hoping to obtain an ancient tome that is tied to the legend of the region's origins, as well as Vastnus and Unicris. Team Twilight's Seven Primordials have even came together to make sure this mission is a success. Hoping to stop their plans, they make their stand.

(Davis' voice): Gathering of Twilight Pt.2

"Psyphant and Bronzong, assist us!" Simon called. He joined in the battle as he released two of his pokemon to put a stop to Team Twilight.

"Psyphant!"

"Bronzong!"

"Both of you use Gyro Ball!" Simon called. Both of his pokemon spun around and smashed themselves against every enemy pokemon.

"Druddigon, Dragon Claw once again!" Draco called. His Druddigon attempted to attack, but Imperialdramon and Panthark got in the way and stopped it from attacking. "If you know what's good for you, you'll get out of the way."

"No way. I'm sick of people like you. You think you can just take whatever you want without any remorse about the people you hurt." Davis said. "Imperialdramon, let's put these guys in their place!" Imperialdramon was more than happy to oblige and kept on battling. Meanwhile, the museum was being attacked from all four directions. Jarvis, Nervak, and Johnathan attacked whoever got in their way with Jarvis and Nervak having no remorse.

...

Johnathan

The other two might not have any remorse over what's going on, but Johnathan appeared to. As he had his Cryogonal attack and ended up freezing his opponents, he looked at them with a sense of regret. It was like he didn't like what they were doing.

"Is this really right?" Johnathan questioned. "This world is quite flawed, but if we hope to change the world, must we act in such a way? I'm just not sure, but nothing changes if we don't take action." He looked over at the ice to see the captives, but also looked back at himself seeing what he's becoming. "Are we really in the right? Can our actions be justified? I just wish I knew the answer to that."

The Museum

Meanwhile, Terra and Cletus waited inside the museum near the safe. They are hoping they can keep the tome safe, but they could hear all the commotion that was going on outside. Hearing all the battling going on was can make one pretty nervous.

"Do you think they're okay out there?" Terra questioned.

"I sure hope so, but we can't worry about that." Cletus said. "We have to make sure this vault is protected. Team Twilight must be after that ancient tome. We can't let them get it." Terra understood that much, but it didn't make things easier. Just then, they looked down the hall and were met with Shinobu. "Who are you?"

"I've come for the book." Shinobu said.

"I don't think so!" Terra said. She and Cletus called out their pokemon and brought out Polear and Krookodile to help them in this battle.

"Resisting is only going to lead to your downfall." Shinobu said, and brought out his partner: Shiftry.

"Shiftry!"

"Shiftry, Leaf Storm!" Shinobu ordered. Shiftry unleashed a powerful grass-type attack and also unleashed some devastating power.

...

Outside

The explosion of the attack was so powerful that it could heard outside. Davis and the others looked towards the museum and had a bad feeling that something has happened.

"That came from inside!" Simon said.

"Oh no! Terra and Cletus!" Davis called as he ran in there to make sure his friends were okay without even thinking twice about it with Imperialdramon going after him.

"Davis, wait!" Adrien called and wanted to go after him.

"Adrien, wait! Let Davis take care of this! He wants to make sure his friends are okay, but if the attack came from inside, they must be going after the tome." Simon said. "I'm sure that Davis can handle things, but we need to make sure these people are stopped. If we can capture some of them and get some answers as to what Team Twilight might be planning."

"As if you could even comprehend what we can do. Druddigon, finish them off!" Draco ordered with Druddigon and the others attacking.

...

Davis

Davis and Imperialdramon rushed through the museum to make sure their friends were okay. As they were running through the place, they soon came across Shinobu and his Shiftry with them having the tome right in his hands.

"Davis, look!" Imperialdramon called.

"He's got the book! What did you do my friends?!" Davis said.

"Stand aside." Shinobu said.

"I don't think so." Davis said. "You're not taking that, and you people are done hurting people and pokemon. Imperialdramon, Dragon Pulse!"

"Shiftry, Leaf Storm once more!" Shinobu called. Both used their attacks with them colliding against each other, they tried to overwhelm the other. The two attacks tried to push the other back until they were pushed aside and blew a hole in the wall. "Shiftry, let's move!" Shinobu and Shiftry tried making a run for it through there.

"Hold it! Give that back!" Davis called as he attempted to go after them. Shinobu called on his own Skarmory to escape and get back to the ship. "Imperialdramon, Focus Punch on Skarmory!" Imperialdramon flew right at Skarmory and smashed his fist against it to prevent Shinobu from escaping. "Hand over that book!"

"Gengar, Will-O-Wisp!" Davis spotted Gengar's attack and saw it unleashed the ghostly flames right at Davis, but Davis jumped out of the way of the attack and spotted Jarvis. "You again? I thought you and your friends would have known to stay out of our way by now. Shinobu, take the book and get going. I'll teach this kid what happens when he interferes."

"Understood." Shinobu said. He and Shiftry moved like ninjas as they attempted to escape over the rooftops.

"Get back here!" Davis called as he attempted to chase after them.

"Gengar, Poison Jab!" Jarvis called. Gengar decided to attack Davis directly. Gengar's attack was heading straight for Davis, but that was when Rammtain jumped in and smashed itself against Gengar to stop the attack. When that happened, Davis looked to see Terra and Cletus.

"Terra! Cletus! Are you okay?!" Davis said.

"We're fine. Don't worry about us." Terra said. They did look a little banged up, but they were still able to fight.

"She's right! Go and get the tome back before we lose it!" Cletus said. Davis understood and he and Imperialdramon went on ahead after Shinobu.

"You brats clearly don't know who you're messing with." Jarvis claimed.

"Neither do you. Rammtain, Mega Horn!" Cletus called. Rammtain charged right at Gengar and smashed its horns against Gengar. They won't go down without a fight, but the same is true for Team Twilight.

...

The Airship

"Lord Lumiere, it would seem that there's been a compromise. Shinobu is being pursued as we speak."

"You don't have to tell me what I already know, Lector. I can see from here that there have been some compromises." Lumiere said as he sounded very displeased. He just simply turned from where he was standing and was moving.

"Sir? Where are you going?" Lector asked.

"I want what's inside that tomb. It would seem I will have to deal with this matter myself if that's what needs to be done." Lumiere said. It seems that the leader of Team Twilight is taking matters into his own hands.

...

Davis

"Stop!" Davis called as he and Imperialdramon continued to chase after Shinobu. Shinobu and Shifty were running along the rooftops while Davis and Imperialdramon chased them on the streets. "Imperialdramon, stop them in their tracks! Dragon Pulse!" Imperialdramon flew up to them and tried to stop them in their tracks.

"Shiftry, Shadow Ball!" Shinobu ordered. Shiftry got in the way of the attack and launched its own. The two attacks collided and caused an explosion, but Davis and Imperialdramon held their ground. Shinobu and his Shiftry at least stopped and were now facing them. "We will accomplish our goals, no matter the cost."

"Say what? I don't think so." Davis said. "I don't know what your goals are, but I don't really care. All I care about is that you're hurting a lot of people and pokemon. You use pokemon like tools and weapons instead of your partners, but you're going to get it! Imperialdramon, Focus Punch!"

"Shiftry, Leaf Blade!" Shinobu ordered. The two pokemon flew right at each other and had their attacks collide once again.

"Now I've got you!" Imperialdramon said. He grabbed a hold of Shiftry and kept it from going anywhere.

"Got you! Brick Break!" Davis called. Imperialdramon smashed its arm against Shiftry and caused Shiftry to smash into the ground. "That got them." Shinobu was annoyed, but he isn't going to let this get in the way.

"Time to hand over that book!" Imperialdramon claimed. He flew right at Shinobu to get the book back, but he was suddenly attacked and blasted by a flame.

"Imperialdramon!" Davis called. Imperialdramon was forced to move back and landed near Davis. "Where did that Flamethrower come from?"

"Davis, look..." Imperialdramon said. Davis took a look and saw Lector and his Magmortar were the ones responsible for that attack. What caught Davis' eyes was that Lumiere was standing there as well.

"Him!" Davis said, surprised to see Lumiere in person. He remembered the illusion once again and how it looked just like him. "He looks just like that illusion from that one time. He's got to be the one in charge and calling the shots."

"Lord Lumiere!" Shinobu called. He made his way down to the streets and dropped down to one knee like he was speaking to royalty. "My apologies for the delay. As you can see, I had some minor hindrances."

"The tome." Lumiere demanded as he held out his hand. Shinobu made no excuses and handed it right over to Lumiere. "As long as I have this, there's nothing to worry about."

"You're not taking that!" Davis called. "You! You're the leader of Team Twilight, aren't you?! The one who calls all the shots?! That means if I take you down, your whole organization is finished."

"Such insolence." Lector complained. Lumiere looked right at Davis and could tell just by looking at him that there was something special about the boy, especially since he's wielding a pokemon that Lumiere is not familiar with.

"This boy matches the depiction of the one I've been told that has been meddling in our affairs." Lumiere said. "So, he must be the one. He even chased after Shinobu on his own? This mere boy and his friends are the ones that have been causing trouble? I'm now a little curious to see what exactly makes him special, or is he just foolish."

"What's he blabbing about?" Imperialdramon questioned.

"I don't know. All I do know is that we're taking him down. Get them!" Davis called. Imperialdramon agreed with that. He flew right at Lumiere to take him down.

"I won't let you near him! Magmortar, Fire Punch!" Lector called. Magmortar had fire flare around its fist and smashed it against Imperialdramon to knock him away. "Now use Flamethrower!"

"Get out of the way! Dragon Pulse!" Davis called. Both of their pokemon battled back as the two of them fought each other and caused their attacks to collide. "Now use Brick Break!" Imperialdramon flew at Magmortar again and tried smashing his arm against it, but Magmortar crossed its arms over its head and was able to block the attack.

"Now use Smog!" Lector called. Magmortar breathed out smog right in Imperialdramon's face and caused him to move back. As they were battling against each other, Lumiere took notice of how Davis was battling. He could see his passion for it.

"He battles with such intensity and passion, but I'm afraid that won't be enough." Lumiere said.

"I heard that! Why's that?!" Davis said.

"Because we are battling for a cause. We intend to change the world." Lumiere claimed. "Team Twilight's goals is to lure this world into a brand new light. A twilight, you might say."

"Real nice, but I don't care. Imperialdramon, Imperial Flight!" Davis called. Imperialdramon unleashed his most powerful attack. He flew right into Magmortar and was able to push it back. Imperialdramon gave Magmotar a powerful strike and was able to knock Magmotar off it's feet.

"Insolent brat." Lector complained as he reached for another pokeball, but Lumiere held out his hand and stopped him.

"There's no need for that. I think it's time we leave." Lumiere claimed. Then, he pulled out a device and blasted the ground with an intense blast of smoke covering the area.

...

The Museum

Draco and the others continued on with the attack, but they noticed the cloud of smoke rising into the air.

"There's the signal. It's time to pull out of here." Draco said.

"What?! You're leaving?!" Adrien said.

"Lord Lumiere got what we came for, so there's no reason to waste anymore of our precious time." Draco said.

"Lumiere?" Simon questioned.

"It doesn't matter. You're not going anywhere! Panthark, stop them!" Adrien called. Panthark attempted to stop Draco from leaving, but some of the grunts' pokemon got in the way and provided some cover for them to escape. It wasn't just them either. All of them managed to escape, and this could end up being Team Twilight's win. Back with Davis and Imperialdramon, they pushed through the smoke to try and stop Team Twilight, but they were already long gone. However, he noticed the tome was left behind. Why would they go through all of the trouble to steal it and then just leave it?

Later

Team Twilight's attack certainly was harsh. The museum suffered some damage, but it could be repaired. As for Davis, he brought the tome back to Simon, but that just left them even more confused.

"I don't understand." Simon said. "How come they attempted to steal this and then just leave without it? Davis, did you notice anything with the people you were faced with?"

"No, but I was a little distracted on not getting fried." Davis said.

"I can't believe you saw the actual leader of that group." Terra said.

"He said something about leading the world into a new light? They wish to change the world?" Cletus wondered. "What exactly do they mean? What is their true goals?"

"Maybe they don't care who gets hurt as long as they get what they want." Adrien said. "From what I saw, they mean business."

"They certainly do." Simon said. "Whatever it is this Team Twilight is planning, they must be stopped." All of them certainly agreed with that, but this organization is a formidable force.

Team Twilight is casting quite a shadow over everyone. Something must be done about them, but how can they be stopped when they don't even know what their plan is?

Team Twilight

There's a reason Team Twilight left the tome. It's because Lumiere was able to make digital copies of every page in the book when Davis wasn't looking. He knew they would try to get the tome back, but they are now out their hair and they are free to continue their scheme. Lumiere certainly seemed pleased with what he saw.

"Excellent. This also confirms our initial theories." Lumiere said. "Jarvis is to continue his hunt for the target. Soon, Team Twilight will guide the world into a new light."
