Episode 1: "A New Threat Emerges"
[The episode opens with a dark, twisted world shrouded in black and red hues. Bat demons swarm through the air, filling the scene with chaos. The camera pans to reveal a cloaked figure with an obscured face, staring intently at both the Human and Digital Worlds through a mysterious portal.]
Mysterious Figure: [sinisterly] The time has come to bring darkness to both realms.
[The scene transitions to the Damon household in the human world. Inside, Kristy Damon is excitedly preparing for her first day of 8th grade. Spencer Damon, her father, watches her with a smile.]
Spencer: Kristy, are your shoes on?
Kristy: [cheerfully] Yes, Dad! But where's Marcus? I wanted to say goodbye.
[Spencer and Sarah, Kristy's mother, exchange a look of concern before comforting her.]
Sarah: Marcus is still in the Digital World, helping rebuild. He'll be back when he's ready.
[Just then, there's a knock at the door. Spencer opens it to find Keenan Crier standing there, looking shy.]
Keenan: Uh, hey, Kristy. Ready to go?
Kristy: [smiling] Yep, let's go!
[The two leave the house and begin their walk to school. As they walk, Kristy turns to Keenan.]
Kristy: So, how's it going with your parents and Ruka?
Keenan: It's...good. Still getting used to it, especially with Ruka. She was just a baby when I came back.
Kristy: You'll get through it, Keenan. I know you will.
[Keenan smiles at her encouragement. The scene shifts to their classroom. The teacher is droning on about an assignment while Keenan and Kristy work.]
Teacher: And remember, this project is due next Monday.
[Keenan suddenly notices something unusual outside the window—a black star shooting across the sky.]
Keenan: [whispering to Kristy] Did you see that?
Kristy: See what?
Keenan: A black star, like a falling star. It was weird.
Kristy: Are you sure you're not just seeing things?
Keenan: I'm positive. We should check it out after school.
[After school, Keenan and Kristy search the bushes where Keenan saw the black star, but they find nothing.]
Kristy: [frustrated] I think you're imagining things, Keenan.
Keenan: No, I know what I saw.
[A deep, sinister voice suddenly echoes around them.]
Sinister Voice: You were right, Keenan. I was the black star.
[Keenan and Kristy freeze in fear as a demon-like character emerges from the shadows.]
Keenan: Who are you? What do you want?
Demon: [chuckling] It's none of your business. What matters is that you don't know me...yet.
[Keenan and Kristy scream and run, but the demon teleports ahead of them.]
Demon: [menacingly] It's okay... I'm not going to hurt you!
[Keenan and Kristy hold each other, terrified, as the demon approaches. Suddenly, a loud voice calls their names.]
Yoshi: Keenan! Kristy!
[They turn to see Yoshi in her police car. They run towards her, but the demon teleports in front of the car.]
Yoshi: [grabbing a baseball bat] Stay back! I will use this!
Demon: [chuckling] We'll meet again!
[The demon vanishes into the night. Yoshi rushes to the kids, hugging them.]
Yoshi: Are you both okay?
Keenan and Kristy: [nodding] Yes.
Yoshi: What happened?
Keenan: We saw a star, and then it turned into a demon.
Yoshi: Let's get you to the police headquarters. We need to figure this out.
[At the police headquarters, Yoshi, Keenan, Kristy, Miki, Megumi, Thomas, and Commander Sampson gather to discuss the new threat.]
Commander Sampson: This might be connected to the Digital World, but there's no sign of Digimon DNA in this demon.
Thomas: We need help, and I know the perfect person. But he's still in the Digital World... Marcus Damon.
[The group looks determined as they realize the seriousness of the new threat and the need to bring Marcus back.]
