I sat at the pool table with Brody, Sara, Calvin and Hayley while Preston did his magic show. "Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a moment of wonder from master wizard Presto Change-O!" Preston said, with lots of arm signals.
"Yes, Pres. Woo!" Sarah called out.
"Another magic show." Brody said, looking at us.
"Let's hope it works." Sarah said.
"Behind an entirely empty hat." Preston said, showing us his hat.
"Hold on there, Change-O." Victor said, standing up as Preston got a look of worry on his face. "Let me see that." Victor said, taking the hat from preston as i scoffed at victor.
"Hey, you can't-" Preston said when Victor took the hat.
"Empty hat, eh?" Victor said, pulling out a white rabbit and showed it to everyone as I glared at Victor.
"A rabbit." Preston said, motioning to the rabbit in Victor's hand. "Amazing. It's magic." Preston said, quickly. everyone began booing at Preston and Victor have him his hat back. Preston looked at us and we all looked at him. Preston walked right past us and went to his locker.
"I'll talk to him." I told the others as I followed Preston to his locker. "Don't worry, Preston, just keep practicing." I told Preston as I walked up to him. "You're magic trick will get better." I told him, encouragingly.
"When i was about five, my parents took me to a magic show. he made this dragon bracelet appear on my wrist." Preston said, showing me his bracelet as I looked at it.
"I know, you told me that when Victor ruined your magic show before." I said.
He took off his cape and put it in his locker. "I keep trying and trying. My tricks never fool anyone"' Preston said, looking at me.
"Listen, it might not look like it, but I had to train to master my superpowers." I said looking at my necklace. "After a fail, you can't just give up. You have to start again, even better than before, "I told him.
"But you don't know what it's like to fail at something so badly." Preston told me with a sigh.
"I remember one time when I couldn't get out of my super speed. Or that time I accidentally set the bench on fire with my heat breath." I said chuckling. "What I'm trying to say is, giving up won't get you anywhere." I said as he listened carefully. "What is that?" I asked when I heard a thump from Preston's hat. Preston looked confused as he reached into the hat and pulled out a white rabbit. Preston gasped as he pulled it out. "There you go. See? The trick was flawless." I said smiling at Preston. Preston looked at me confused.
"No, Bella, you don't understand." Preston said as he handed me the white rabbit and I held and stroked it. Preston took the blanket off the rabbit cage, but I didn't look. "This is my rabbit." Preston said to me looking at Preston's rabbit and then the rabbit I'm holding. "I only have one." Preston told me, really confused.
"Then where did this one come from?" I asked, motioning to the rabbit in my arms. Preston was about to answer when we heard a thump coming from his hat. He looked at me, confused as he took off his hat and looked inside of it. Preston reached inside and pulled out another rabbit.
"Hey, what's going on?" Brody asked as he came up to us.
"Two rabbits came out of Preston's hat but he doesn't know how." I replied.
"What? Are you sure this isn't trick?" Brody asked Preston while giving him the rabbits.
"I'd love to help you to find it out, but I have something else to do." I said while walking away.
I walked to the courtyard outside the shop class where I was stopped by Sarah. "Woah Brody's not far behind you is he?" She asked checking behind me to see if Brody was with me.
"No he isn't. He is with Preston." I said.
"Look at this," Sarah said as she dragged me to the main area where I saw Brody's dad's not so old looking truck
"Wow! You have made progress." I said
"Uh-huh Calvin did this," Sarah told me
"He's gonna flip when he sees this" Hayley said with a smile
"It just needs some work on the engine" Calvin said.
"Cal, why don't you take a break. I will do it." I said as I walked up to him.
"You know what to do right?" he asked uncertainly.
"I fixed my own motorcycle and improved it. And I checked and repaired the Thunderbus a couple of times. I know what I'm doing, Cal." I assured him. He nodded and walks towards Hayley.
While I was working I heard footsteps so Sarah rushed quickly to the entrance. The footsteps turned out to be Preston looking at his hands very shocked. "Woah Brody isn't behind you, is he?" She asked.
"No but I have ..." Preston started to say but Sarah interrupted
"Good check this out," she said as her she dragged him to where I was fixing the car. "We're almost done fixing up Brody's dads old car." She explained to him.
"Brody's going to burst his batteries when he sees this." Redbot said.
"That's great but I have something to tell, the strangest thing just happened-" Preston's tried again.
"You can start it now Hayls." I instructed. Hayley walked to the driver's side of the truck and got in to test the car
"Can I just share something?" Preston asked.
"Wait, a sec Preston." Hayley said as she started the engine. "Bells, that sounded a bit better, no-" hayley said but I interrupted.
"No, Preston do you mind handing me that wrench?" I asked Preston. He grabbed the wrench as Hayley was getting out of the car but she knocked the drink over. I was just in time to use my telekinesis to avoid getting hit by the drink. Unfortunately the cup went tilted and the inhoid was about to hit Calvin but Preston did something to stop the drink
"Uhh how did that happen?" Calvin asked
"I did it. That's what I've been trying to tell you! I stopped the drink. I can do real magic"
"Preston real magic?" Sarah questioned.
"So that is how the rabbits came out of the hat!" I said as he nodded
"I seriously doubt that." Calvin said.
"Oh you doubt it huh?" Preston said before doing something again and spilling the drink all over Calvin, making Sarah Hayley and I laugh a little. "Now do you doubt it?" Preston asked, smiling
"definitely not." Calvin said. Hayley Sarah and I helped Calvin as Mick and Preston went off to talk. Mick was explaining that it was ninja language that magnified his true desires, telling him to be careful. After Calvin dried himself off , he went working on the car again with mine and Hayley's help while Sarah was on the lookout in case Brody arrived and Preston helped us a little, it didn't take long for Sarah's Ninja Comm to go off
"Guys we're in trouble, I've just spotted a buzz cam." Brody said.
"we're on our way" Sarah told him as she walked to where we were repairing the car. "Guys, Brody needs help" she told us. We had Brody's location and went there.
"Oh, I won't fight you guys. We will!" I heard Brody said to somebody before he clicked his fingers and we flipped in and lined up. It turned out that Brody was talking to Galvanax.
"You said Galvanax was big, but this is ridiculous." Preston said.
"Brody what should we do?" Calvin asked.
"A ninja never shows fear." Brody told him. Hayley Sarah and I looked at each other before we got in.
"So that's Galvanax. "Hayley said. "I thought he would look a lot tougher." She added.
"In fact he doesn't look that intimidating," I said shocking Galvanax. "I think even my little brother Max seems more intimidating than him."
"They call you the champion, you look more like the chump," Sarah said making me laugh quietly
"The chump?!" Galvanax shouted. A fox-like monster known as Madame Odeus stepped up and stopped Galvanax.
"There are 6 rangers. You're out of practice and when they bring you down, you look weak. Your fans despise weakness - " but Galvanax interrupted Odeus.
"Enough! you Red Ranger, you're the twerp I am after. You stole from me, not these other weaklings. When you're ready to fight mono on mono we will arrange this but for now meet Slogre." A monster that looks like a ninja and a turtle appeared in front of us.
"Prepare to be shocked, rangers." Slogre said as Galvanax and Odius were beamed back to the ship. We changed and fought against Slogre and the Kudobots. Brody and I went into Slogre while the others killed the kudobots. Sarah, Calvin, Hayley and I were exploded by something that Slogre threw at us while Preston used magic to throw him into the pond. We all backed off when Brody helped me.
"Hey, are you okay?" Brody asked us as Preston followed him.
"Yes, We will survive." Calvin said as Hayley grabbed his arm to keep his balance.
"Woo! Easy! Wasn't that dragon that I made great?" Preston said, proud as we all looked at him.
"Yeah, I have to admit it was pretty cool. I mean hot." Sara said, forcing to laugh.
"You know, I think I'm ready to show the world some real magic." Preston said to us, putting his hands on his hips before walking away.
We all went back to the school where Preston was supposed to do a magic show. Sarah, Brody, Hayley, Calvin and I were sitting at a table and I wasn't feeling very well, neither was Sarah, Hayley, or Calvin. I took out my water bottle and took a slow sip. "You don't look so good." Brody said worried.
"Yeah, I don't know what it is." Sara said, slumped back in her chair.
"I just feel like I'm catching something." Calvin said in a rough voice.
"I think I'm going home." I said, putting my head on my hand.
"I think you should all do that. I'll let Preston know." Brody said as the 4 of us stood up and headed to the school entrance walking past Victor who pulled out who knows what from prestons hat what happend
there on our way home when we reached a plaza we all started to feel weird like really really weird. "Guys i feel so weird" Calvin said as he sounded weird to.
"Your talking slow." Hayley told him talking slowly too.
"So are you." Sarah told her.
"It has to be the blast from Slogre." I told them after I put the pieces together as I was talking slowly as well. We all heard an evil laugh it turned out to be Slogre.
"Hello rangers feeling a little sluggish." Slogre taunted and continued to laugh.
"Uh oh." I muttered to myself while Hayley contacted Brody and Preston.
"Eanie meanie miny mo catch a ranger make them slow." Slogre said.
"It's morphine time." Calvin said as we pulled out our power stars.
"Nice try'!" Slogre said before coming to us and ripping our power stars from our hands before we could change "I have 4 power stars!" Slogre said in a buzz cam then he started thanking random people while we were just shocked. I heard footsteps who turned out to be Brody's and Preston's.
"Hold it fish face." Brody called out getting Slogre's attention.
"Hand over the power stars now!" Preston demanded
"Exactly what i was going to say. Hand over the power stars." Slogre said.
"Use your magic" Brody instructed
"But it's not working" Preston protested.
"Just try." Brody encouraged.
"Observe an ordinary scarf. Completely ordinary, nothing special until I do this." Preston said as he made the scarf fly out and trap Slogre. Brody ran up and took the power stars and handed them back to us and rushed back next to Preston
"Good job Presto." he said.
"Yeah it worked great now, but why doesnt it work all the time." Preston said.
"Maybe because you were using it for the wrong reasons with Victor and Monty." Brody told him.
"What are you saying?" Preston asked.
"My dad taught Aiden and me great ninja skills but he also told us never use them for personal gain." Brody explained
"So you're saying my magic works when i'm helping others?" Preston asked.
"You were showing off a little bit on your show, your magic was going crazy," said Brody.
"It worked great against a monster when I'm ..." said Preston before realizing.
"Helping others" they said at the same time that Slogre was coming off making Brody and Preston go back a little bit.
"let's show fish have their own trick, its morphine time, Power Stars." Brody said as he and Preston pulled out their power stars "Lock-in, Ready, Ninja Spin!" They morphed into rangers and took out their ninja blasters and blaste slogre who ran away. '
"let's get him." Brody said before walking away to catch up with the Slogre as Preston turned to us.
"Stay there. where are we going." He said before catching up with Brody and Slogre. They fought him off and used steel slash to attack him making him get destroyed. I don't know what happened but I started to get to normal speed and so did the others.
"Guys, I think I'm speeding up." Calvin said with his voice returning to normal.
"Hey, we're at normal speed again. Thanks guys!" Hayley said as we went to where Brody and Preston fought of Slogre. After Calvin Hayley Sarah and I morphed, a purple beam came from the sky onto where slogre exploded making slogre 30 ft taller than he was before
"We'll use the magic of teamwork for this one." Preston said.
"Time to call in our zords! Zord stars!" Brody said.
"Lock-in, Activate, Ninja Spin!" we all said summoning our Zords.
"Robo Red Zord!" Brody exclaimed.
"Dragon Zord!" Preston exclaimed.
"Nitro Zord!" Calvin exclaimed.
"Kodiac Zord!" Hayley exclaimed.
"Zoom Zord!" Sarah exclaimed.
"Hawkeye Zord!" I exclaimed.
"Ninja Steel Megazord combine." Brody said making our Zords combine. "Ninja Steel Megazord ready." Brody said once the Megazord was formed.
"Ninja Master mode, Ninja Spin." we all said summoning the master mode.
"Rangers ready." Brody said
"Let's take this guy down." Preston's said. We started fighting off Slogre. Slogre used his slow mist but we used the dragon shield to block the mist. Slogre then turned around and flew away.
"Woah the freak can fly." Calvin said
"Thats not good." Hayley said
"I'm going after him." brody said as Slogre used his mist again. Brody left the megazord and used his Zord to go into the sky but the mist was working making brody and robo red fall and slogre pinned robo reds arm behind the Zords back.
"We have to do something," Sarah said concerned.
"He's not the only one who can fly," I said as I exited the Megazord and used my zord. "Hey Slow Poke, let him go!" I yelled as Hawkeye did a laser blast which resulted in Robo Red falling from the sky. "I got you!" I said as Hawkeye zord's talons grabbed Robo Red's shoulders as we flew back towards the megazord.
"Thanks Bella." Brody said, sighing in relief.
"Brody, you ok?" I asked him.
"Never been better." Brody said as he walked over to me.
"Pretty incredible, huh." I said happy.
"Sure, if only the Megazord had wings." Brody said as we approached the megazord.
"Brody, you're a genius!" I exclaimed as I took out my ninja star and locked it in my sword. "Hawkeye formation! Combine." I said while spinning my star. Hawkeye Zord was disconnected and attached to the back of the megazord, giving the megazord the power to fly. When I got to the cockpit it was white as usual, but it had Silver accent marks and graphics of the Hawkeye Zord, but in Silver. "Woah! Look at this cockpit!" I said excitedly. "Ha! It worked! Now we have wings!"
"Sweet!" Brody said as we all cheered a bit. "Ninja Steel Megazord Hawkeye Formation! Done! Let's bake it!" Brody said as we all raised our swords and fired lasers at him.
"It doesn't even itch." Slogre taunts us.
"Eagle Wing Whip!" I exclaimed as Slogre was cut with the wings of the Hawkeye Zord. Slogre fell to the ground when we landed in front of him. We beat Slogre and he exploded. "Yes!" I shouted as we all cheered.
"Show is over, Ninja's win." Brody said as the megazord was powered down. We then demorphed and went to the school where Preston fixed Monty ... a little.
"Guys, I'm sorry I showed my magic when I should have helped you guys. I think I got a little carried away." Preston admitted to us, looking down at the floor.
"Everything is forgiven." Hayley said, smiling at him.
"It happens to the best of us." Brody said to him.
"What's important is that you eventually found out," said Mick making Preston agree as he put an arm around Hayley and Sarah and hugged them.
"Thank you guys" he smiled.
"And there's another surprise," Calvin said, taking Preston's hat and turning to Brody. "For you ', he pointed after putting the hat on him while Sarah and I got him in the middle and Brody was very confused. "You are gonna come with us" he told him while Hayley put the blindfold on him. We guided him to the courtyard outside shop class where his dads old new truck was."Take a look." Calvin said as Brody took off the blindfold and saw the truck making his face light up.
"No way! My dad's old car guys." he exclaimed going up to the car. "You fixed it, it looks awesome." brody exclaimed examining the car. "Guys this is so epic."
"It was Calvin's idea." Hayley told him.
"But everyone helped." Calvin said.
"Now everywhere you go you'll have a bit of your dad with you." Sarah told him.
"like he never left." I added as he walked up to us and calvin held out some keys and handed then to Brody.
"I love you guys. This is the best gift ever, thank you so much" he said as he rushed over to the driver's side of the car. "Well let's go." He said as we all rushed over and got into the car.
