"Are you sure this is a good idea, giving Linda a toddler bed. What if she's not ready." Darcy asked.
It was a year later, and Darcy and Howard's lil birdie had turned one which had been fun but emotional for them plus had invited Emily and Shocket along with Nebula and Rocket at the park leading to fun including Linda flying taking Shocket with her which made both kids impressed along with Rocket and Nebula plus Linda and Shocket had a cake fight which Howard had recorded because heand Darcy wanted to record every moment with their lil birdie as she grew up. "Of course she's ready Darcy. Nebula and Rocket already did this with Emmy and Shocket." Howard told her.
Since their lil birdie was becoming a toddler, Howard had decided it was time for Linda to have a toddler-bed even if at first, it might be chaotic and Linda might get out of bed but that was part of it which Darcy agreed with seeing Linda waddling as she was walking, holding her stuffed raccoon in her arms which reminded her of Shocket when they weren't together which calmed her so she didn't want to take Howard's phone anymore wondering what was happening making Darcy sigh.
"It's your new bed, sweetie, as you're getting too big for yohr crib. I know it's scary but Shocket has one at her house." Darcy said making Howard sense their lil birdie might not be keen. "Let's just give it a try honey." he told her seeing her nod quacking because she couldn't talk yet like Shocket making raccoon noises because she couldn't talk yet too.
They were having dinner, but Darcy was feeding Linda making her laugh which was music to their ears but after a while, they were doing her bedtime routine like her bath which she loved splashing making them laugh after drying her off putting her in pyjamas giving her a bottle telling her stories about a magical lil birdie like her, hearing her yawning guessing it was time to tuck her in kissing her fluffy lil head turning on the nightlight before leaving her room cleaning up, then going to their room getting ready for bed themselves humming a certain song they sangtomLinda.
The next morning, Howard couldn't help but smile along with Darcy seeing Linda sleeping in bed with them, guessing she wasn't adjusting to her new bed, deciding not to wake her yet as she needed her rest seeing Darcy get up to make breakfast only Howard was snuggling with Linda humming a certain song softly to her making Linda smile in sleep as he kissed her fluffy head but after a while she woke up, smiling at him.
"Morning honey, I guess you need to get used to your new bed. Mommy's making breakfast." Howard told her.
"Howard breakfast's ready. Is Libda up." Darcy asked as Linda followed him into the kitchen, relieving Darcy as she put herin her highchair feeding her oatmeal which Howard thought cure. He knew that they were going to Nebula and Rocket's later so he and Darcy could ask Nebula and Rocket for advice.
"Your parents got you a big-kit bed too. Our mommy and daddy did that too with me and Emmy. I bet you get into your mommy and daddy's bed. Shocket does the same." Linda heard Emily say. "Emmy not cool as Linda didn't know about this." Shocket said to her twin-sister. That made Linda giggle at this making Howard and Darcy smile At this along with Nebula and Rocket who'd been amused by Linda not getting used to her new bed.
"Shocket is like that but we're working on it. Maybe Linda's the same." Nebula told them.
"That's good guys. We didn't make a mistake getting Linda to ditch the crib." Darcy told them.
"Nope she had to sooner or later. You're doing fine." Nebula told them hearing the cookie jar smash going to the kitchen seeing Emily, Linda and Shocket there eating cookies as Nebula was putting them back in the playpen but then cleaning up hoping they were okay.
