Chapter 15:
While Carlos was taking care of Stephanie, Chris Carlos's twin brother was posing as a Ranger and going to some of Carlos's customers. "Hi, Mr. Sanders. I want you to know that we will monitor your house in shifts now. A Rangeman SUV will watch over your house in three eight-hour shifts for only an extra three hundred dollars for three eight-hour shirts," Chris told him.
"Sounds good, Ranger," Mr. Sanders said, writing a check to Chris for three hundred dollars.
Chris did that to five customers, and when the customers went outside to check if a Rangeman SUV was there, and there was no Rangeman SUV, the trouble started. The real Ranger was in his wife's private room when Ranger's cell phone rang.
"Yeah," Ranger said, and then Mr. Sanders started yelling at Ranger over the phone.
"Sir, I promise I will find out what is happening," Ranger said to him over the phone and then hung us.
"Chris is going to be my death, Babe," Ranger called Tank.
"Hey, Boss, you should concentrate on your wife," Tank told him.
"I am trying to. I got a call from one of your clients. I think Chris is posing as me trying to get some money out of our clients. Can you visit my mom and dad's house to see if they know anything? Also, do a deep dive into Sasha. Find out everything about her." Ranger told Tank.
"Sure thing, Boss" Tank hung up then.
"Carlos, what is going on?" Stephanie said as she looked at her husband.
"Trouble at Rangeman, babe. Chris is posing as me, trying to get money from some of Rangeman's clients. I have Tank going to my parent's house right now." Ranger told her softly. Then Doctor Thomas and Bobby came to their room, "Good news, you can leave the hospital. You will have to take it easy for a few days, but you can go home," Thomas said, adding, "I will have a nurse help you with the discharge papers." Thomas said, leaving the room with Stephanie and Carlos in it.
Tank pulled up to the Manosos' house and knocked at the door. "Tank, come on in," Anna said to him.
"Thank you. I wanted to know if Chris was here?" Tank asked.
"No, but Carlos is here right now?" Anna said, "Which I find weird. I thought he would be with Stephanie."
"He is with Stephanie. That is Chris; that is with you, not Ranger," Tank said. He then entered the living room and saw Chris sitting on a couch. "Hello, Chris, why are you posing as Ranger? I can take a guess. Trying to swindle Rangeman's customers out of money, as your brother. " Tank said, and then Chris tried to jump over the coffee table and ended up landing on it and breaking it in half. "Shit, how the hell did you figure that it was me and not Carlos?" Chris yelled.
"Some of Rangeman's customers called Ranger complaining about a new service we don't offer. Also, Carlos is still with Stephanie. Get up. You are under arrest for the impression of Carlos Manoso and fraud." Tank put the cuffs on Chris. "Tim, you might want to look at this. It is a deep dive into Sasha Manoso. Turns out she was already married to someone else. She would take her husband's cash when she divorced him and would leave her ex-husband with nothing. She is wanted in three states, including New Jersey." Tank told Tim and Anna.
"Chris, why did you do this? I have been on your side during this mess. But you are trying to ruin everything your brother has worked so hard for, so I can't stand behind you this time," Tim told his youngest boy, who was only six minutes younger than Carlos Manoso.
"I wanted what he had. He has all the money in the world. All I wanted was a piece of that. So I thought that by taking his place, I could get a little of that and make his life a living heck," Chris said and added, "Sasha told me about the idea of taking Carlos's place for a while. She told me that because she looked like Stephanie, she could frame Stephanie and have Stephanie in prison. That way, Carlos would divorce her, and then I would take Carlos's place and bring Rangeman to the ground. So Carlos would know what it is like to have nothing. I would be on top again, but I did not expect Carlos to find out so fast. This is not done yet. I guarantee you that. I am not finished with messing up Carlos's life. There are other plans for Carlos that are already in motion." Chris said as he was leaving
