Later that evening after school, Faybelle was at hex leader practice.
"Alright, that's it for today," said Faybelle to the rest of the team.
"Today's practice was worse than ever," said a girl as a group headed for the locker room without the young dark fairy.
"Apparently some kid hexxed her off so I guess she's taking her anger out on us," said another. They all then started laughing at their captain.
"What in the name of Grimm am I doing?" asked Faybelle under her breath.
"Hey Faybelle, we need to talk for a minute," said Raven as she and Meylene walked up to her while she was picking up some equipment from the ground with her magic and putting them away.
"Why are you two here?" asked Faybelle.
"I'm sorry for what I said earlier," said Meylene while bowing her head to Faybelle.
"After she calmed down Meylene revealed that her spell is actually a curse that she had accidentally put on herself," said Raven.
"Along with allowing her to see people's secrets it also makes her out that person's secrets if they make her mad, which you did with your comments on our family," she said.
"I see, but there's no need for you to apologize, I was out of line and deserved it," said Faybelle while sitting down on the bench.
"Still, if there's anything I can do to help you please just say so," said Meylene.
"Hate to ask a five-year-old this, but can you help me with my studies?" asked Faybelle after a minute of silence.
"That's why my mother has really been on my case with the hexleading thing, she thinks I'm spending too much time with it and not on studying so she wants me to quiet to focus on class more," she said.
"I don't mind helping," said Meylene.
"Apple will be out of the room tonight so come over when you're done here and all three of us can study together," said Raven.
"Sounds great to me," said Faybelle before walking away.
