The following morning, Apple was eating breakfast with Raven and Meylene.
"So, how did the study session go last night?" asked Apple.
"Good, Faybelle walked away pretty happily at the end of it so I'm sure that she'll do fine with the upcoming tests," said Meylene before taking a bite of the breakfast burrito that she had been eating.
"And did you learn about her crush?" asked Apple.
"We did, but it would be wrong to tell you about it so hope you understand that we're not going to say anything more," said Meylene.
"Glad to see you're no longer mad at her," said Raven.
"Hey, Meylene," said Faybelle as she walked up to the table with a big smile plastered to her face.
"Hi, Faybelle, what made you so excited so early in the morning?" asked Meyelen while returning the smile.
"I had an early meeting with my team and we had an open conversation about everything," said Faybelle.
"And we came up with some ideas to help the team better," she said.
"I'm glad to hear it," said Meylene.
"Also I hope you don't mind helping me study again at some point, a little bit of help from someone else can go a long way I've come to realize," said Faybelle while rubbing the back of her neck nervously.
"Just let me know when and I'll see what I can do," said Meylene.
"I'll do just that," said Faybelle before walking away.
"Wow, you're making friends out of some amazing people, Meylene," said Apple with a stunned expression.
"Hopefully it's not too long for me to no longer need to lie to everyone then," whispered Meylene with a sad expression as she messed with the ring without taking it off for even a second.
"I'm sure you will be able to one day," said Raven before she and Apple hugged the girl. Neither of them were aware that Daring had overheard the child witch while he sat at a nearby table.
"Now that's interesting," thought the eldest Charming sibling.
