"Can't believe I slept so much and now I'm running late," thought Briar who was rushing to class.
"Thank you for helping me, Faybelle," said one of the three pigs as Briar rounded the corner to see Faybelle handing him some books that were on the ground.
"It was no problem," said Faybelle with a smile.
"What was that about?" asked Briar as she approached Faybelle once the little pig had left.
"Oh, hi Briar," said Faybelle while turning around, her cheeks a deeper shade of blue than normal as she faced the brunette.
"He dropped his books and since one slid over to me I thought I would help him pick them up," she said.
"Wow, it's really not like you to help others like that," said a surprised Briar.
"As the newest Rebel I thought I should try changing things up," said Faybelle.
"What do you mean you're the newest Rebel?" asked Briar, her surprise growing at hearing the words that left her villain's mouth.
"It's just as it sounds," said Faybelle.
"I won't have anything to do with putting you to sleep or the rest of the story, I'm done caring about any of that," she said.
"Why… why the sudden change?!" asked Briar.
"You really want to know?" asked Faybelle to which Briar just nodded her head to as she couldn't find her words.
"It's because I've had a crush on you for a long time and can't imagine myself hurting you," she said, her flushed face growing even darker as she confessed her feelings to the other girl.
"Ah, what… I, ah," was all Briar could say thanks to her shock. She was also shocked enough that when Faybelle walked away she was unable to stop her.
"Dear Godmother, I can't believe I just actually said that to her," thought Faybelle who looked ready to just vanish from the face of Ever After she was so embarrassed.
