"I already know that you're going to turn me down," said Faybelle.

"Faybelle, I wouldn't be chasing you if that was the case," said Briar with a shy smile as she pushed some hair out of her face.

"Then you?" asked Faybelle as she looked up and caught Briar's eyes which were looking right at the fairy.

"I have always liked you, Faybelle," said Briar.

"And I'm wondering if you would like to do something this weekend," she said.

"Yeah, I would really like that," said Faybelle who was able to relax and smiled at the sleepy brunette that stood before her.

"You have to be kidding me," said Duchess, cutting the silence that had otherwise filled the halls as the rest of the onlookers just stared at the two girls out of shock and surprise.

"The both of you are supposed to be storybook enemies and yet you're confessing your love for each other?!" she asked.

"Which has nothing to do with you, Duchess," said Briar.

"She's right, and we won't let anyone hurt them because of it," said Raven as she and Apple moved to shield the two along with Meylene who stood in front of the witch and princess with her arms crossed.

"Weren't you the first one who was against Ashlynn and Hunter's relationship?!" asked Duchess while looking at Apple.

"And things have changed since then," said Apple.

"Now I suggest you get out of here before I start telling people your secrets," said Meylene while glaring at her. However, her eyes weren't glowing like they had with Faybelle.

"Forget this," said Duchess before walking away.

"Wow, you actually controlled your curse?" asked Raven while looking down at her cousin.

"I was not mad enough for it to activate," said Meylene.

"Now, how about we all head to class before getting into trouble with the teachers?" asked Apple to the crowd which began to disperse, some of the people whispering about what they had just witnessed.
