38. No Thanks

"NO THANKS…"

Amy crosses her arms and twitches her nose. "Why not?" she mutters, "What are you afraid of?"

"Nothing!" you quickly reply, "I just don't believe in that fortune telling stuff."

"Oh really?" she snaps, "You just said a second ago that you're counting on me to keep tabs on Little Planet!" She glares at you sharply, "Why say it if you didn't mean it?"

You blink, suddenly remembering your words, and you try to back track. "Well, uh I mean, I don't believe in fortune telling for myself! " you spat, "But for Little Planet , sure! Why not?"

Amy rolls her eyes at you. "I don't get you, Sonic," she grumbles, "One minute you're really sweet, the other you can be so heartless. Sometimes I wonder how you really feel about me."

You snicker a little. "You could always consult the cards."

Amy looks as if she's seriously considering it but then shakes her head 'no'. "I don't think I really want to find out…"
