You're mom never let you're side. Those few days.
And i did the best i could to support her. Eventually letting everyone in our life what was going on.
They made their way to the hospital.
The media soon caught on. Taking pictures. Asking questions.
Julian's arrest was well known.
When i sat the boys down and explained that they had a sister but that there was a big chance she would be going to be grandma Karen and uncle Keith.
They started to cry. I held our boys in my arms.
Their sobs and shaking small bodies hurt me.

"I don't know what to say. This is just awful Lucas." Haley said. Hugging him tightly.
"I want to go and see her. But what do i do. Say?"
"Brooke has always been there for me." Rachel confessed to Mouth.
"Just being there is sometimes all you need." Mouth replied.

Lucas couldn't help but wonder if Haley had been right.
He had allowed himself to be emotionally invested in the pregnancy. In this baby. And his heart was shattering.
Knowing they would probably have to say goodbye to her.
Knowing this would shatter Brooke to her core.
It all felt so wrong unfair and simply cruel.
Julian Baker had been nothing but a curse and wanted to punish Brooke for keeping the pregnancy.
Peyton hugged Lucas tightly.
"I've never felt more useless." Lucas admitted.
"I'm here for both of you." Peyton insisted.
