Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle

In the cast, and with it, Nick Ballard makes an appearance, as he sees after 25 years. Daniel found his way back to the command side of the grouping that were trying to over turn his decision then. After Daniel's parents were killed in the accident here now, so from here it changes now.
But if anyone noticed here in the continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now here in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 106: New Futures And Fresh Starts X: Time's Arrow and Recovery XIV

To have them both arrested and committed back to the hospital again. "So the smoke doesn't bother you, all the leaking, you know?" he asked and he changed the subject then. "You ever read this book, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, I found it. When in the john, looks like someone's misguided attempt at levity, I always loved this book.Could never get past page 87 though: Too scary." he said and Henderson nodded concerned.
"You seem strangely detached, given our predicament." he said and Walker said it gently to that. "I don't know, Brandon: With all your running around, what have you accomplished?" he said and that did it then, knowing this was enough to completely scare him then. "You knew I was running around?" he said and then said it. "Have you seen Sam?" he asked him and he shook his head as he answered him then gently at the remark then.
"No: Thought she's with the others." he said and Daniel said it then. "What others, Barnes and Ted are dead, Eric." he said and Hoffman nodded in agreement then. "There's nobody left down here that knows how to run the place." he said and Walker nodded. "Right?" he said and then named off the list of problems. "The fire screwed up the electronics, we've used up most of our reserve gas." he said and Daniel finished that.
"You're reading your book." he said, knowing this theatrical touch was going to get her attention, and thinking she was in the clear, before something else happened. They had her right where they wanted her now, as they heard footsteps then. "Somebody has to go reset the mini-sub, you know, if you don't reset it every 12 hours, it'll float to the surface." he said and Walker nodded. "I'll go." he said and Daniel said it then, as he got up at that remark.
"No." Daniel said sharply then as he got up then. "I'll go." he said to her and she froze then. "You sure?" Walker said and he nodded. "Oh, yes." he said and Sam nodded, as she clarified the reasoning. "Yeah we got her now, thinking she's in the clear, she has no idea, that like the little bastards, you're playing her for a sap at the moment." Alexander said smiling and Sam went white, realizing he knew what she and Jack were trying to do, and sabotaged the attempt.
"If the storm clears, it might be our only way out." Sam said and Daniel nodded. "Can I talk to you for a second?" Daniel asked her and she nodded. "Uh-huh." Sam said and he nodded, as he gripped the stair bars then firmly at that. "I don't want Eric anywhere near that mini-sub." he said and she said it then at the remark. "Why do you think he'll leave without us?" she asked and he nodded, as he answered her then firmly at that remark then.
'I think he already left without us, Eric's in a whole other place, did you know that he slept through the attack: You don't find that a little strange?" Daniel said and Sam nodded. "Well I guess it's just you and me, babe." Sam said and he looked up at her then. "You and me, Sam?" He said skeptically remembering the last time she said that, before she stabbed him in the back then. "Yeah." she said and said it then gently to him at that remark.
"I'll keep my eye on you from the control room." Sam said and he nodded, then, as he headed for the wet room changing room and left to deliver them. "Reset, reset, where are you?" he thought out loud, and then saw the button then, and nodded, as he pressed it. "There you are." he said and he delivered the next batch of tapes then, and started the trek back to the habitat then, not seeing another suited figure going to the ship then in response.
Before noticing something was wrong then. "Sam, something's happened to my hose." he said, quickly checking his hose then, as his mask starts whitening. "Sam, I've got bubbles coming out…., Sam!" he said frantically to her, and hearing this then. "Sam, can you tell me what to do. It's fogging me all up here." he said and still no answer, as he was trying to get back. "Sam, there's something wrong here, I've got to get out of here..."
"I've got to get out of…, Sam where the hell are you!" he shouted at her then, before Walker, quickly got on the radio then, to get his attention. "Hey, watch out for that rock. It's me, it's Eric." he said and he said it quickly. "Eric..." he said quickly, and he said it quickly. "Come around the rock... go to the right of the stanchion." he said and they heard it. "My ankle's stuck, I need help Eric, I'm stuck!" he said quickly and Henderson shook his head.
"He's hyperventilating, we need to get to him, now." he said and they nodded. "Hang on we're coming to get you, Daniel." Jackson said and, Stone and Jackson jumped in and grabbed him, and they quickly got him up the ladder. And as Henderson pulled him up, and they removed his helmet then. "Brandon, we need you to meet us down here now, close asphyxiation!" Stone shouted into the radio, as they pulled him away from the ledge then.
"Damn it, is she trying to kill him, where is she!" Hoffman snapped angrily then to this then. "His ankle got stuck between two rocks, we had to dislodge it to get him free." Jackson said and they and Stone nodded sternly then. "At least it's not a bloody snake, but this was a real emergency, but there it is, the fan was busted right now. He's half frozen, hypothermic shock." She said sternly and they all nodded to the news then.
"That and a rapid cooling effect, his fan shorted out, and he suffered rapid cooling from the helium, that could kill him!" Stone snapped and he and Hoffman nodded in shocked fury at that. "Possibly didn't short out on purpose, his fan was sabotaged and possibly his cord with it. If you never jumped in when you did, he'd be dead right now, Karen, guys." Hoffman said sternly, checking him over, as they turned him on his side then.
"Daniel easy buddy, slow your breathing down, you're back on board." Jackson said and Stone turned around. "There's why alright, there's a puncture in the god damn hose, someone cut his cord." she snapped and they nodded in fury at that. "Just wait till he relaxes, but he's needing what our book selves decided, warmth. And rest, for a few hours, but she finally just snapped right now." Jackson said sternly and he nodded then.
"Crazed jealousy, they refuse to share him, and here's another example, if they can't have him, then no one can." Hoffman said sternly and she ran her hand through Daniel's hair gently. "Move Eric, Brandon." She said to them, as she sedated him, as he relaxed, though he was still shivering."Shh, just rest son." Hoffman said and nodded to Stone then. "He's passed out here, infirmary, now." Stone said and he nodded, as they moved him there.
"Brandon, I saw this on the radio, she was talking to O'neill, and I heard this." he said and turned it on. "Sir it's been months, since he left right now, I tried again and again to talk to him about this, he's still refusing. To consider going back to the SGC, he's happy here right now." they heard and she paled, realizing in her frame of mind then, she was as much a threat to him as Jack was right now, as they heard Jack's response then gently.
"Then we have to do something, claim after the accident, that being a navy seal is just not for him, he's better off in the Air Force." he said and then heard it then. "I can try right now, but I get caught, we're going to jail for this." she said and he nodded. "I realize that, but without him, it's worse than jail, if we walk onto a planet. And when they're there." he said and Hoffman crossed his arms sternly as he answered to that then.
"And you got caught alright you little brats, you're being committed for another 10 months for trying to kill my officer." he said and she started shaking in fear, realizing this meant another trip back under Hancock. As every time she never let go, they kept sending her back to him. "And where's Tom when we need him right now, he just threw these guys to the wolves, and he becomes the movie exactly." Jackson said sternly to the remark.
"Contact George, tell him, we caught them red handed, she was on the radio, just hours prior to his turn for the drop off. And we found his equipment sabotaged, we just wait for her to return." Hoffman said and he nodded sternly, as he went to do that, as Henderson said it. "Eric, I need some help here, once he comes too, after passing out, and before we got him up here, as he lost two hours here in his memories right now."
"And switching locations here." Hoffman said and he nodded. "Good thing you're the fatherly psychiatrist, he bonded to you a little too tightly, choosing out 8 doctors. That he chose you and only you could get him to relax, if not Carson, he has you. Now, right now, Dave, but first O'neill's sexual assault, and now her, who's next." he said and Hoffman nodded gently, as they got him out of his clothes, into bed and wrapped up then.
"It just got worse, look at this, Brandon." Stone said, untying his boots and removing his left boot and they saw his ankle swollen. and red from the sock up and Hoffman nodded in fury. "That's why he collapsed, it's either he sprained it or dislocated it." Jackson said sternly as he removed his sock, and saw it black and purple and at angle they knew immediately now. "Dislocated ankle that said rock you told him to watch out for, he got stuck in it."
"Trying to wrench free from it, the weight of the pack ripped his ankle out and dislocated it then, and dislocated his ankle. Alright I'm putting his legs out for 96 hours, and we just keep close to him in the galley. When he confronts her rapid cooling effect, dislocation, then we deal with her, just stick close to him. He's not getting on that ankle, till he's passed the danger zone." he said sternly and they nodded.
"Stick close as this is going to hurt right now, as I get it back into place."She said and they nodded, as he carefully popped the ankle back, into place then. As the pain suddenly became too much and he turned on his side, and Stone snapped his fingers. And they nodded, and he injected the dose into his leg and she massaged it into his knee and Hoffman said it gently. "Easy, easy baby, shh, it's okay, I know it hurts." he said, as after it took hold.
They wrapped his ankle, and got him into a set of thermal p.j.'s. "I think the hallucinations took total control, or better after he said the fears of Shyla's kingdom. It completely destroyed their minds, they're going to anyway possible here. To bring him back now, but not a chance, George and I terminated his records. And with the Air Force then, desperation to protect themselves to the point of murder." Henderson said and he nodded.
"Brandon, I'm staying with them, he's as close to me, as he is to the guys and Teal'C, so the 4 of us are staying with Daniel till he's ready to return to duty right now. But this was a real weak attempt right now, at trying to sabotage him right now. Being a Naval personnel, we knew what to do after being on board this ship for the past year." Stone said and he nodded, as she, Hoffman and Jackson were in the infirmary with him then.
As they stayed close, waiting for him to wake up, before he woke up 2 hours later with a jerk. "Shh, shh, shh, easy baby, easy, it's okay, it's okay, it's the fan in your suit short circuited, shh, it's okay, it's okay, you're safe now." Hoffman said softly, as his eyes opened. "Uncle Brandon?" he said weakly and he said it soothingly. "Shh it's okay, it's me, you're safe now, just rest, going to be okay." he said, rubbing his shoulder to calm him.
"How long have I been asleep exactly?" he asked and he smiled paternally."Couple of hours, found the problem, and we're getting it fixed right now, but that's no more. In going out of the habitat for you now that way, you're better off by doing the subs now. What's the last thing you remember, baby?" he said gently and he nodded. "I was doing drop off as normal, and she said she would be…., where is she exactly right now."
"She did it again right now!" he said, in realization and quickly tried to sit up then, but he forced him back down as Walker hold him down. After they covered him with several blankets, as he was too weak to get off the bed, 'There it is, he's furious at her, and we just saved his life right now, that once again we were ready for this. In proving we're more his team mates then she is, we always had his back.' they heard gently to that response.
And in Jackson's mental voice then, before hearing the answering response in Hoffman's mental voice. 'Shh, whoa, whoa easy, easy baby, easy, it's okay it's okay, just relax, you need to be in bed right now, till you can get up now.' they heard gently to him then, as he hung on to his legs at that. "Easy, easy baby, just take easy, it's okay, it's okay." Hoffman said gripping his arms gently then, as they held him flat, as he was shivering from the cold then.
Before the attempt caused him to feel like he had during his first round with gate travel then. "Not again, where is she?" he said, gasping for breath. "Try and relax your breathing, slow down, slow down calm down man. You're gonna hyperventilate, it's okay, just a slight hiccup in the job, you're okay, buddy."Walker said and he said it. "Where is she? She said she'd..., she'd keep an eye out for me." he asked and he said it gently then.
"I looked through the whole habitat here for her, but I couldn't find her right now, I thought maybe she was with you." he said and he nodded. "Where is she? Where is she, I knew it, even when she says she'll be there, she never is. It's the same old crap, who cut my cord exactly, because if someone sabotaged my cord. That it's get me out here and return to the SGC now, and knowing it's none of you, we been together here."
"Way too long, you'd never do that, Teal'C sided with me, as did the guys and Annie, so that leaves only one person, you find out who she was talking to. If she attempted it right now, Derek?" he asked and they sighed in relief, he was beginning to relax. "I'm not sure yet, but when I find out, they're being court martialed for attempted murder. And right now, just save your strength and then up, but you're half frozen here now."
"But it's the same as Goodman, same thing, the fan in your suit short circuited, and suffered a fast cool down from the helium." he said and Daniel nodded sternly. "Was the cord cut as well?" he asked and they nodded. "And we heard this, after checking the radio transmissions." he said and turned on the tape recorder. "Sir it's been months, since he left right now, I tried again and again to talk to him about this, he's still refusing."
"To consider going back to the SGC, he's happy here right now." they heard and she paled further, realizing in her frame of mind then, she was as much a threat to him. As Jack was right now, as they heard Jack's response then gently. "Then we have to do something, claim after the accident, that being a navy seal is just not for him. "I see, so to bring me back, you try to kill me, here's the reason I retired from the SGC, I'm happy here in the SGA, being a Navy Seal now." Daniel said to that sternly.
"Call dad, arrest him." he said and they nodded. "We did already, he's back in Rosen's hands, her, she's being psycho analyzed by me. As you say everything for me, and when you know better then anyone her state of mind right now. They're still so screwed up in the head, that Shyla completely destroyed their minds. One they don't see it, but everyone else does right now, it's been months, you never been happier."
"That why go back at all." Henderson said and he nodded. "You two, I swear here, you really think the effects of the trip to Shyla's at the time here. That never completely destroyed your minds, out of fear right now, you're dangerous. To yourself and others, me right now, that why should I want to go back at all right now. It's not an option right now, I'm happy where I am, and even the manifest turned up positive here."
"After they brought it here." he said and she paled. "Yes and you're not taking another dunk." Gordon said gently and he nodded. "And clearly they're trying to disengage your recovery, and your happiness right now at the moment. You never felt more alive, then when you joined the Navy, one year and the fire in your enjoyment. And of the job, has become an inferno now, you're flying high from the fact you get to do here."
"Exactly as you trained for now, one hiccup, is not ending it." Barnes said and he nodded, as he shifted position. "No kidding, I do this, I'm in the sub from now on, it's like a jumper now, all the same comforts the sub has. But nice try Jack, if you did this, plotted to bring me back, by trying to put me in the infirmary. Just to claim, my new job just isn't for me, didn't work." he said and Henderson nodded gently, before smiling,
"True, but two of us are the same as your father, and at the moment, you still look like a 16 year old cadet. So with that, don't push it right now, you need to be in bed for a while." he said and Daniel smiled. "And if I do?" he asked and Walker and Collins looked down as they started laughing. "Buddy, we have the serum on board this habitat, you forget already, he let you have it one too many times here." Walker said with a chuckle.
As he leaned in then gently to that. "Don't get smart with me now, you wiseacre, you remember the last few times you did right now. I know you are, and the serum makes you even more so right now, but after that reaction. Is you're once again 3 trapped in your adult body, little you is close now, so don't push me. You know how I still see you, since we met last year." Henderson said to him, smiling paternally then at him gently.
In keeping his arm wrapped across his waist, stroking the skin of his side and he tried to keep from laughing. "Still ticklish right here, baby hmm." He asked him stroking the skin of his side very slowly and his mental tone started shaking in laughter. 'Uh, uh, okay, okay point taken, Dave please, you made your point, I'll be good, I swear.' they heard, his mental tone shaking in laughter before feeling his fingers stroke the sole of his foot then slowly.
As his laughter started getting worse as they heard it then. 'Wait did they…, why is my leg feeling like it wrapped, unless…, oh no, I sprained my ankle out there. Alright, alright point taken, but just no paw torture, no paw, please, you win, Dave stop. Stop let me up, let me up, please let me up darn serum, I'm stuck here and…., oh no. No not again not again, no tickle cub, please no tickle cub.' they heard laughing and he chuckled then.
'Uh oh me in twouble, Dan no get playful, no get playful, or we be tickled again, no get playful.' they heard and Haden chuckled at that. 'Little boy trapped in an adult body, but even at this age, he still likes to get playful. And with the paternal psychiatrist right now, alright young man, you maybe an adult. But to me you're still a cadet, don't push me, or you're going to get it.' they heard with a chuckle as he answered that remark gently.
"Alright, alright you made your point Uncle Dave, I promise, I'll be good." he said smiling as he tried to hold his hand back. "Something wrong?" he said running his hand back to his side. "Uncle Brandon really you made your point, I won't give you any trouble, I swear right now." He said, his voice shaking in laughter then. "Oh what's wrong baby, you ticklish, that what it is." he said smiling doing his stomach and he tried to keep laughing.
"Don't give me any trouble as you recover from this, or you're in big trouble, baby, so…., is baby still ticklish." Henderson said, wrapping his arms across his waist, paternally, before doing a fast spider run then by getting him in the stomach. And he started laughing as he started squirming, trying to turn on his side, and he turn him back as he kept it up. "Alright, alright, I take it back, I take it back, I'll be good, I swear, I swear, I swear, stop."
"Uncle Brandon stop, you win, you win, I give up, I give up." he through his laughter then as he went back and forth on his side and stomach. 'Help, why did I say that, 10 months, he still acts like I'm 16, I can't take this, somebody get to him to stop.' they heard through a tone loaded with laughter and Landry chuckled. 'Yeah baby, best not get smart with your own psychiatrist right now, before he tickles you to death.' Carson thought with a chuckle then.
'My baby, yeah there's the him I know.' they heard with an affection, as he snuggled into his side, and he smiled then, in rubbing his back. And he laid there with his head nestled into his side, using his thigh as the pillow and he stroked his hand. And through his hair and for a second time as he ran his fingers, in a soothing gesture through his hair. After a three hour nap, he let him up, but the trio stuck close to him then as he checked the camera then firmly at that.
'Sam damn it, first Sha're and now this, you lied to me, again, you promised!" they heard sternly at the realization. "She tell you she was going out?" he asked seeing her and they shook their heads. "No." he said to him then. "Nice try then right now, well she just screwed up, seeing this power as a way to scare me back to CMC. But I seen worst monsters then this." he said and she paled, realizing their idea never worked at that remark.
"And boy is she going to get it now, in total truth at the moment here now, we knew exactly what they were trying to do right now, so this was enough that the cross and double. Just got O'Neill arrested for a third time and her she's being readmitted back to Pescadaro. And for another 7 months, before we make our move and it starts twice." MacGregor said to this sternly then and Henderson smiled. "Sam?" Daniel said and she said it then, nonchalantly at that.
"Daniel? I can't hear you." she said and they exchanged looks. "Nice lie." Walker said sternly and they nodded. "Captain, if you can't hear him, then why are you answering the summons, shouldn't you be pretending the com is busted, after the squid attack." Henderson said sternly to that and the quartet crossed their arms. "Agreed here, if she can't hear you, why did she answer right now exactly?" Walker said sternly and he nodded.
"Sam, what are you doing?" he asked her and she explained that. "I went out looking for food. We're out of food." she said and Parker looking over her shoulder at Walker and he shook her head. "Cupboards are loaded, plenty of food in the fridge, she snapped." She said softly and Walker covered the mike with his hand at that remark. "There's plenty of food, I was just in up there, the pressures of being down here, she just cracked, Daniel."
"I think Hancock let her out prematurely here." he said sternly to that and he nodded. "You went to look for food in the spacecraft: That seems a little odd, don't you think?" he asked her gently then. "Why, what's odd about it?" she asked and he explained that to her then. "Well even if there was food, Sam, uh, wouldn't it be sixty five years old by now?" he said and she said it with a hopeful smile in her tone to that at the remark then.
"I was hoping our luck would change and I'd find a cryogenic freezer. Or a bottle of bordeaux." she said and Walker nodded sternly then. "She's lying."he said and Alexander nodded. "Daniel, she's lying about everything, we been together so long, you said it yourself, after you joined us, why would I lie to you exactly, our friendship." he said and he nodded, knowing that cemented his decision, his ex team to his new friends, Teal'C.
He chose his new Navy quintet, and she said it carefully. "Is Eric there with you, Daniel?" she asked and Alexander pointed over his thumb his shoulder and he nodded. "Eric's checking the system Sam, but why don't we just talk when you get back? Meet me in the galley. We'll have a cup of coffee. We still have coffee, don't we?" he asked with a joking smile in the question, and they heard a bemused tone to that, as Haden hid a chuckle to that remark.
"Very funny, I'll take mine black, like my mood." she said and he nodded. "All right. See you soon." he said and turns off the microphone. "So now what, she's clearly not able to handle this." he asked and he nodded. "Uh huh, yeah what we have here are two ingredients: Sam and this underwater environment..., you put them together. And you've got one big ass bomb." Walker said sternly and he nodded to him in agreement.
As they waited for her to arrive, the 4 of them talking, knowing this was about to get hectic then, as Sam enters."How'd it go with the mini-sub?" she said and he said. "It was a little disconcerting out there, actually." he said and she froze."Oh?" she said and he nodded. "Weren't you supposed to be watching me from the control room?" he said and she said it. "Eric said he'd take over for me, he sat down right…, in front of the monitors.."
"And…, Daniel, what happened?" she asked and he said it. "I was in trouble, where the hell were you?" he asked and she said it shakily, realizing, once again, this was based on another Sha're. "What's going on, Daniel?" she asked and he said it, as the quartet were all staring at her. "All I know is, going out to find food in the spacecraft when there's plenty of food here, isn't exactly normal."he said and she looked at him in shock then.
"What do you mean, plenty of food? I was just here. There's nothing in th…"she said, and checked and saw food, as Jackson said it sternly then. "Ta-da…, a veritable horn of plenty." he said and she turned around slowly. "He must've hidden it." she said, shaking and he scoffed then. "You think I hid all this food, how exactly, there is no chance of that, and not when we can't leave the habitat." he said sternly and she said it, shaking, to him.
"I don't know what's going on here, but twenty minutes ago I was standing right here and there was no food in the cupboards and no food in the refrigerator." she said and he nodded."Why, Sam: Why would Eric do that? Why would he set you up?" he said carefully and she started shaking in fear. "I don't know what happened: is all I know is this food wasn't here." she said and Walker said it sternly then to her at that remark then.
"Uh huh, okay you promised to watch out for me and you didn't, you went to find food, that we already have, hello red flag here. And while you're looking for food, I'm close to a black out, from another medical emergency. And out of hypoxia, my cord blacked, out, and Teal'C had to come in after me, get me out. It's Goodman's incident with rapid cooling effect with the helium here." Daniel said and Henderson crossed his arms.
"Which is why I'm dressed like this, repeated hot drinks, wrapped in blankets, the team doctor said. That I'm very lucky, beyond lucky right now, were it not for their fast thinking, I would be dead right now, out of asphyxiation right now. So again why you leave the camera room, when my anchor blacked out right now?" he asked, and she started shaking violently in fear, realizing Hoffman as Henderson, too, was another psychiatrist.
"I'm telling you, I was standing here, and this food was not here." she said, shaking in fear and Stone shook her head. "Please, you can't handle the isolation of life underwater, like going into space, via spaceship. And with the mental and physical rigors of working in space, so you don't freak out on the asteroid. Same thing, and this says clearly, you're suffering space dementia." she said sternly to her and Jackson finished that.
"Calling Captain Carter, calling Captain Sam Carter, please return to reality." Jackson said to her then and that did it. "Shut up!" she said at him and then said it to Daniel. "Okay, you can see what he's doing to me." she said and he said it. "Can I Sam, after Sha're, the sarcophagus, and Machello, as you were supposed to be watching, Sam. You were supposed to be watching, but you were not there at all." he said and broke it down.
"It's been what, 9 months, since your father, I been living here, and these guys are my best friends, they never lie to me, I been coming into the habitat. And 9x's out of 10, after Svetlana contacted us, saying she locked onto something. And Maybourne gets arrested now?" he asked and she started shaking violently, realizing how bad that looked now, after jumping Chaka now, he did a stint or two in real habitat now then at the tone.
"No I been doing this off and on, and for 10 months, I been down here 79 times in 10 months, this makes my 80th time. To them, I'm a natural at this, but the one time we bring you on board. But my locker is next to their's, my underwater suit, to them, I'm part of their team, just like I'm Andy's next in command here." he said and she paled, realizing he did it so often the effects didn't get to him, this was her first time and she cracked.
"As Dave would later say, to Brandon, well what I understand here, a thousand feet underwater and with no link to the surface. Said is just about the most dangerous place on the planet, if there's a problem, I need to know, right now, Commander." he said and she started shaking violently, as she saw the stern looks at her, realizing as a flyboy, a gate traveler, she was not well equipped to handle, in being underwater for days on end
"But we're 145 fathoms down, and currently there is a blizzard going on upstairs, in your department, and it got more dangerous. As, you're the resident schizophrenic on board, one we're all waiting to flip out and crack up. I decided to give you a chance and then told David about your mental history here. Just who the hell are you kidding, when are you going to get over that?!" he asked and she went white and they nodded.
"That's the facts, you promised to watch out for me and you didn't, you think Eric said something he didn't, you think that the cupboards are empty. When they're full..., Clinically, we would classify that as a psychotic break." he said and she said it with a panicky tone at that remark. "I'm not crazy, Daniel. What're you gonna do? Write me a prescription? Just get rid of me, well, it's not that convenient down here, Daniel."
"Okay, I am not psychotic." she snapped, feeling her frustration growing by the minutes then, now realizing Daniel went back to the realization. That he couldn't count on her for anything anymore, couldn't trust her not to have his back, without thinking about herself. "How about a mini-psychotic break." he said, walking around the table. "That's not fair." she said and he snapped it out. "Sam!" he said and she said it shakily and he read it out then.
"What?" she said then and he nodded. "Sam, I'm down there, my cord blacked out here, I can't breathe, I'm hyperventilating, the man saved me!" he said and she said it quickly. "But I..." she started to say and snapped it off. "Wait a minute, now you want me to believe that the man set me up, why, this isn't 'Alice in Wonderland'. Remember 'just you and me babe'? Is it unrealistic to think that at this point you are a danger."
"To yourself, you are a danger to all of us..., that your misguided anger towards me, for something not my fault, but your own commander. Who's still in that psychiatric hospital right now, for something that I don't know. Happened 4 years ago, because his incompetence is so distorted in his head, that your own. Is so distorted in your head, just because I never told you, when that trap was meant for him, not for you."
"When it was that happened 3.5 years ago, after I left to get that back pay off ago is so distorted in your head, like a drug here. You just can't let it go, because I never was there, that why should you be for me, that's what it comes down. Revenge, pure and simple, you blame me, I was out there, you almost got me killed. The man tried to save my life! You now want me to disbelieve Eric?!" he said and she said it in frustration.
"Yes, yes I want you to disbelieve Eric, I want you to look at me and believe me for one time, Daniel, don't you...? Just look at me, Daniel! Am I telling you the truth?" she said and he said it firmly, knowing everything he and the quintet had gone through together. Nothing would ever be the same again, her or them and Teal'C, it would always be them. "You weren't there, Sam." he said in finality and she nodded, knowing she lost him to them then.
"You want to believe Eric, Daniel, then that's fine, because he's done everything but part the sea for you. Since we've been down here, but I'm telling you that he is not telling you the truth." she said and he nodded. "This is not about Eric, okay, this is about you and me, it always was isn't it, you lied to me. And because you followed that bastard, you ignored the rules, that it?" he said and she looked at him then carefully.
"He didn't tell you what's inside The Sphere, did he." she said and turned to Jackson's double. "You didn't tell him, did you? You didn't tell him what's inside the Sphere, did you?" she said and Jackson said it sternly then. "And how would you know that, Sam?" he asked and Daniel froze and looked at her. "Sam, did you go inside The Sphere?" he asked and he slammed his hand on the stop button then and they nodded sternly to that response.
"Even if we did, we had the right mind, not to abuse the power, the way the NID did, Carter, as such right now, is this is not about us, it's about you. In fact it's always been about you, claim you're stronger then a civilian, and yet you ignore it. In the most basic guidelines, and get slapped with the penalty, all because. It's you never exercise, in common sense, you know the brass said no drinking on duty right now."
"But you're just not equipped to handle being underwater, or out in space, a spaceship for days on end, you need to be strong, both physically and mentally. He spent the last year training in the rigors of being in both, both physically. And mentally and mastered it, but look at you, 2 weeks, and you crack right now." Stone said sternly to her then and she swallowed hard at that remark, realizing they all mastered the power already.
"Did you go in there or not, as with your frame of mind, you're dangerous to yourself, and to us?!" Jackson said and she swallowed hard, as Hoffman switched out and returned to himself, as he took on being Henderson, and injected the sternest tone possible. With a patient that was beyond the point of desperation, acting like a beyond violent and dangerous person. In military officers, throwing everything he had into it, like he had being a virologist then.
"That what we have here, after that stunt, and the squid attack is the actions of a violent, driven to the brink of desperation, act. What have we got to do right now exactly, manifesting that power, with your frame of mind. Is a bomb waiting to go off, and one that we're getting off this ship, before you kill us. And everyone on board, did you forget already right now young lady, we have 30,000 people on board this ship."
"The habitat is connected to the battle bridge, which is connected to the saucer section, you're dangerous, to yourself and to all of us right now. That enough is enough, you just proved to me your desperation over Aramis is still the full frontal. And of your mind, and enough that anger is a time bomb waiting to go off!" Hoffman said sternly, as he ended it on that, taking on Henderson's tone, as sternly as possible to Jack.
"Get to quarters and stay there, you're under house arrest till further notice, till the timer is up." he said and she nodded shaking, realizing she was now screwed as she left the room. "Yeah you better be afraid, you know we know what you're doing and you're facing being committed, but not a relapse, they're still holding onto that psychosis. They could be anywhere, anything could be tanked by the elixir, her mind snapped." Hammond said sternly to this then.
"Something's wrong, I'm not liking this one bit, this is too easy." Shanks said and they nodded then. "Agreed right now, we have to decode that real translation. And once done, we have to report to the admiral we can use the radio and talk to them. We just can't get out, but if this like an alien computer virus." Jackson said to him then. "She doesn't read Crichton or Verne, Twain and Stevenson." Shanks said and he nodded.
As they both turned to the book, she left on the table, and he checked it, and saw it then, seeing it empty, before turning to the cabinet. 'Matching the movie scene by scene, if Cam is saying to stop calling her that…' they heard, and he grabbed the book and charged up to the control room, to have another go at the entity, as Hoffman tried to get answers. "What isn't Sam telling me here? I know you're there, Cam, what's inside the Sphere, Cam?"
"Cam, I know you're there. You're always there." he said to her as he read it out."Sam is reading this book Sphere. What makes me nervous is that after page 178..." he said, paging through it. "It's all blank pages, Sam's upstairs sitting in the cafeteria reading blank pages. Why? Why did she go into the Sphere and come out like this? Why? Why? Why, Cam? Why is this book half a book, Cam? Why? What's going on here exactly."
"Cam? Why, Cam? Why? Why? Why? No response." he asked and he turns back to pg.178, as he exchanged looks with Walker. "She translated the code, I have to refine it now." Jackson said and he nodded, as Stone came running in."She set the same explosives from the book, I just disabled them, how you guys doing here." she said and he nodded then sternly. "Looking into it." he said and she nodded, as she went to check on Shanks then.
As he and Walker ran through it a second time. "So, it's 'g' being one spiraling out from the center and 2 is 'b', that means that h' is 3 and 4 then is 'y'." he said and Walker nodded as he rewrote it, and then wrote out, his eyes narrowing in anger. 'Hello how are you, I am fine, what is your name, my name is Sam.'. putting the pen down. And Hoffman leaned back, grabbing her file. "Fears of jellyfish, squid and water." Jackson said to this sternly.
"Screw the spherical touch here, numbers to letters, we get this." Shanks said sternly and Hoffman nodded in agreement. "Alright, so final analysis here, you reconfigured the coding to a normal letters to numbers and rewrote the code. She's taking inspiration from the movie, and you knew she's not reading Crichton, well dead man walking here." Addison said the and he nodded, Aand as Walker rewrote the entire keyboard, and applied it to normal mathematics.
"She told me here, a few of her childhood traumas, everything attacking us is connected to this, her fears are manifesting into what's attacking us. But I'm not rattled enough to go back right now, though how did the god damn symbiote. Now, get out exactly, I mean Edina is the SGC district, and the symbiote came from there. It got manifested right out of the lab, a squid this size, she's afraid of squid after one."
"Nearly drowned her when they were scuba diving, when we were 13, the next time their family tried to head to the beach, was on Honolulu. And she got stung by a man 'o war, so she hates going to the beach, it's like, to her. The beach is evil and then the very last time was after going to Calais, and Calais matches the earthling version. Of it being directly on the coastline."Shanks said and Hoffman nodded, slamming his hand.
And on her file. "Frankie said she saw the one that attacked me, just disappear right in front of her." he said and they both nodded sternly. "At least you never dislocated your ankle, but this is still too much, this is why we created holodecks. So we can train to face our fears, her fears, if this keeps up, is going to destroy the ship. And kill the entire manifest, we have to erase the power from her mind." Jackson said sternly to this.
"Attacked and nearly drowned by squid as a child, she got stung by a couple jelly fish during a family trip, altogether. As aside from drinking and bathing in it, she hates being in the open ocean, to her, she hates the water." he said slowly and he nodded. "If she hates being on the open ocean, why is she here exactly." Hoffman said, and Shanks nodded sternly and as he circled jellyfish, water and symbiotes then, on her fears then.
"That wasn't a sea snake, that startled him, it was a symbiote." Jackson said and he nodded sternly. "That was in the god damn genetics lab up in the base, how the hell did it get out there exactly, answer, she manifested it right out of the lab. Psychology reports said her biggest fears are jellyfish and going into the open ocean. And now we have symbiotes appearing outside the containment field we kept them in, and nearly."
"Nearly now, killing him, as he was 3/4's frozen, after being out there." he said and he nodded. "Danny get some rest, and the duo and I are doing the rest of this." he said and Shanks nodded, as he left them alone now, as he went to her, and explained what he figured out then finally. "Dead man walking here." Wes said and Henderson nodded.
And to the final analysis and stand off that they were planning now. "Better back it up to the final analysis and we finish out this way, as I realized here now. That her mind out of desperation and jealousy finally snapped here, as Sharon and I talking." Hoffman said and they nodded. "She makes it real for you, she makes it real for me... she has made it real for everybody, it's really frightening, because you don't know whether it's really real."
"Or whether she's made it real for us to believe it's real, and it's because of the Sphere, in trying to understand here, why one of the situations. That is happening so far, was symbiotes, rather then snakes, I finally realized it here now. She's manifesting memories of when they captured two larva, and the fully grown one. That Hathor would have implanted her with." he said and she nodded sternly to the news then.
"Our Sam... our Sam is Cam?" she repeated and he nodded. "Come on, Karen, I'm just as tired as you are, come on, I know you can get this, okay? Here." he said as he hands her a copy of Sphere. "Sam said she couldn't get past page 198 because she said it was too scary, okay." he said and she nodded. "If there's nothing on the pages, where's the rest of the book." she asked, paging through it. "Read what's on page 198." he said to her then.
"According to calculations of some naturalists, one of these animals, only six feet long, would have tentacles twenty-seven feet long. That would make a formidable monster." She read out, and looked between the two books then and looked up. "After reading that in 20,000 leagues, she reads this, and Verne is too scary for her. Based on Daniel's information, our squid attack was a kraken, the colossal squid now."
"But from pg. 198 to the end of the book, it was a psychological thriller and to someone who never considered this, it's too scary. Looks like she hates science fiction, Daniel loves science fiction of any type, he reads Verne, Crichton. And Heinlein, but if just reading 20,000 leagues under the sea is too scary for her. Then why come into the habitat, like you would a sub, and with a lunatic Hindu captain exactly."
"As such here, only someone that never understood Greek Mythology here, saw something like this as the stuff of nightmares." she said and he nodded gently to her then, as he answered her. "Yes and what does Sam hate exactly here, Daniel knows her likes and dislikes better then we do. And yet a fast test, after Rosie made some fresh calamari reveals this?" he asked and she nodded. "Squid." she said to that remark then.
"And when she read that, it scared her, getting the picture, do you remember when all those jellyfish attacked, before Eric woke up now What was Sam doing?" he asked and she nodded. "Sleeping." she said and he nodded. "She was dreaming, and this is the really wild part - what she dreamed..." he started to say and she finished it. "Happened." she said and he nodded. "It happened." he said and she nodded, as she carefully read it out.
"That's why she came now, she's trying to prevent us from manifesting a world where Daniel was never part of the baseline program, and placing his clone. As his twin brother, in his place, Karen." Jackson said and she nodded in shocked fury then. "You're telling me that because Sam went inside the Sphere, she now has the power. Just to manifest her dreams, her fantasies, her emotions, her fears." she said sternly to that.
"Manifest, she manifested it..., she made it happen." he said and she nodded sternly then. "Daniel just explained it to me, back in 1975, she and her family were on a swimming trip, when her father was on down time. And she got snagged by a squid, said that nearly drowned her."Jackson said and he nodded sternly. "And that's a normal sized one now, but ones this big, she manifested a big one." he said and she nodded to news firmly.
"Well, we'd better not piss her off." she said and he nodded, as he, Stone and Hoffman were still figuring things out. "Where's Daniel?" she asked and he nodded. "He's fine, but he's in the control room alerting to them what's going on, and told George. Though now she doesn't realize everyone she's killed, via squid and jellies attacks here. Said are all clones and Rosy's upstairs, she's safe, so we have enough on her, to have her."
"In truth committed right now for attempted genocide now.." Hoffman said and she nodded, as Jackson explained it. "She's losing control of the power, in fact these powers are becoming addictive, that she can't control herself now. It's like an E-ticket ride for Sam's subconscious, it's the wildest ride you could imagine. It's the ultimate acting out, it's not that different when you're a child, a child when it imagines something."
"Thinks that it's real, but it's not, but in Sam's case it is, it's in fact so real, that it's not only real to Sam, it's now real to all of us. And what I can't understand, is that ever since she went in the Sphere, the Sphere has some kind of power. That projects every subconscious thought that Sam has, out onto the computer. It prints it out, and we interact with it, we thought it was Cam, it's not Cam, it's Sam, Sam's Cam now."
"I'm willing to bet here, is two fold now, half is total jealousy, look at how much we accomplished in 18 months, gathering technology. That makes the world a better place, as the power plants are shut down. We have naquada to create more reactors and the naquada reactors are replacing the power plants. We have a way to destroy pollution, without it destroying the environment, we have ways to arrest patients."
"Said so violent that they need to be in isolation, and 3 dozen other things, so 1 an inferiority complex and 2), her fears are symbiotes. And if we heard a scream yesterday, she manifested Aramis, and he cornered her in the bedroom. She's losing control of the power, to the point she's a threat to us and herself." Walker said and she nodded sternly then. "Does Sam know this?" she asked and he shook his head then firmly.
"If she did now, then it's wanting us know they're trying to scare him back to the SGC, but after hearing the radio conversation between her and O'neill. I'm willing to bet now her subconscious is acting without her realizing it." he said and Hoffman nodded in agreement. "No, and what I don't understand is that you went in The Sphere and nothing happened here." he said and she nodded then as she answered him then firmly.
