And Then There Were 2
Deep in the Milky Way Galaxy, a small spaceship was fleeing a large space ship near the planet Jupiter. The ship that was firing on the other ship is called the Chimeran Hammer. The ship is commanded by a tentacle faced alien called a Chimera Sui Generis. His name is Vilgax. Some would call him the Conqueror of 10 Worlds. He is also shown to have some robot minions serving him.
"Hull damage: 20 percent. Weapons system's still operational." one of the robots informed him
"I have come too far to be denied. The Omnitrixes shall be mine, and there is not a being in the galaxy that dares stand in my way!" Vilgax snarled
Inside the small ship, a gray frog like alien called a Galvan, wearing a white jumpsuit, was in a hurry as he was transporting two spherical containers.
"Come on, Arsen" he muttered "You got to get these devices to planet Earth. The fate of the universe depends on it"
Meanwhile on planet Earth in a school in the city of Belllwood, a young 10 year old boy with brown hair was sitting in his desk waiting impatiently. His name is Ben Tennyson. Sitting behind him is a young boy named Zachary Chase though he prefers to just be called Zach. He has black hair and light blue eyes. He is wearing a light blue shirt and black jean pants. Now Ben and Zach have been best friends since they were very young and have always had each other's backs. Ben had just made a paper airplane and threw it at the back of the teacher's head. The teacher gasped and turned around. Ben quickly buried his face in a book pretending to study. The teacher then turned back
"You know she'll find out, right?" Zach whispered to him
"Don't worry. As long as I don't get caught, I'll be fine" Ben whispered
Zach sighed and went back to his own reading.
Back in Ben and Zach's classroom, the two boys were waiting for class to be done. Zach was getting his stuff packed while Ben was anxiously looking at the clock.
"Come on... Come on...!" Ben muttered
"And I just want to remind you all that I will be teaching summer school this year, and it's not too late to sign up." the teacher reminded
"Yeah, right" Ben muttered before the bell rang "YES! Outta here!"
One by one the students leaves the classroom leaving Ben and Zach the only ones left.
"Come on, Zach. Summer awaits" Ben said as he and his best friend head to the door
"You said it, Ben. I just remembered that you are going on a road trip with your grandfather" Zach said "Any chance you can convince him to let me tag along?"
"Sure thing, bud" Ben replied
But as they reached the door, the teacher's voice stopped them
"Benjamin! Could I have a word with you before you go?" she asked while holding up the paper airplane
"I'll meet you outside in 10 minutes" Zach told his best friend
"Okay" groaned Ben as he went to the teacher's desk
Zach then went off
After putting some stuff into his locker, Zach went to the restroom. Once that was done, he heads outside to meet up with Ben. To his surprise he sees Ben and another classmate named Jamie hanging on a tree by their underpants.
"Let me guess: JT and Cash?" Zach asked
"Yup" Ben replied
"Try to defend Jamie from them?" Zach asked
"Uh huh" Ben said
"Thanks a lot." Jamie said to Ben sarcastically
"I was just trying to help." Ben told him
"Next time you wanna play hero, make sure you can back it up." Jamie said in annoyance
Then an RV named the Rust Bucket pulls up. In the driver seat is an elderly man. This is Max Tennyson, Ben's grandfather.
"Come on, Ben, let's go! We're burning daylight. I wanna make it to the campsite by nightfall." Max said before noticing Zach "Oh hello, Zach"
"Hey, Mr. Tennyson" Zach greeted with a wave
"Uh, Grandpa? Zach? A little help here?" Ben asked
"Oh right. Coming" Zach said
After helping Ben out of the tree, the two boys follow Max inside the Rust Bucket.
"I have so been looking forward to this! " Ben said "Hey grandpa. Is it okay if Zach joins us on this road trip?"
"Yeah, Mr. Tennyson. I definitely would like to see the world with you guys" Zach said "If you don't mind that is"
"Hmmm. I suppose it wouldn't hurt. But we'll have to check with Zach's parents first before we take off" Max said
Ben then noticed an orange haired girl wearing a blue shirt and white pants sitting by a table. This is Gwen Tennyson, Ben's cousin.
"What are - you doing here?" he demanded "What is SHE doing here?"
"Take it easy, dweeb. This wasn't my idea. Somebody convinced my mom that 'going camping for the summer would be a good experience for me'" Gwen said before noticing Zach "Oh, and I see you brought your partner in crime with you"
"Nice to see you too, Gwen" Zach said
"Grandpa, please. Tell me you didn't..." Ben began
"I thought it would be fun if your cousin came along with us this summer. Is...that a problem?" Max asked
Ben and Gwen looked at each other
"Okay. Let's make a stop at Zach's place first" Max said "We need to check in with his parents to see if it's okay to let him tag along"
"Do you still remember their address?" Zach asked
"I sure do" Max answered
Max drove the Rust Bucket over to the Chase Residence where they talked with Zach's parents about letting their son join them. At first they were reluctant on letting Zach join them, but Zach insists on going on this trip. After Max assured them that he is in good hands, Zach's parents decides to let Zach go, but on the condition that he stays safe. Agreeing to the conditions, Zach packed a few things in his backpack and said goodbye to his parents before joining the Tennysons in the Rust Bucket. They were now on the road. Zach was sitting next to Ben at the table. Gwen was sitting on the opposite side of the table.
"Aw, I can't believe it. I wait all school year to go on this trip, and now the queen of cooties is along for the ride." Ben grumbled
"Hey! I had my own vacation already all planned out too, you know!" Gwen countered before pulling out a schedule schedule with different colors "Each activity is color-coded, so I never do the same thing two days in a row."
Ben jaw dropped at this
"Wow. Impressive" Zach said
"Now, I'm stuck with my geekazoid cousin and his sidekick going camping for three months." Gwen said
"I can hear you" Zach said
"Geek" Ben said to Gwen
"Jerk" Gwen spat back
Zach sighed at this. He already knows that Ben and Gwen have a tendency to bicker and argue most of the time.
"Something tells me it's gonna be a long summer..." Max said to himself
'You and me both' thought Zach
The Rust Bucket drove out of Bellwood and onto Route 66
After driving for a few hours, the Tennysons and Zach have reached the campsite in the woods. Ben, Gwen, and Zach were sitting at a table while Max comes out of the RV with a bowl of worms.
"Chow time!" the elder man said
The children stared at the worms
"..Okay, I give up. What - is that?" Ben asked
"Marinated mealworms. Hard to find them fresh in the States. You know, they're considered a delicacy in some countries." Max explained
"And totally gross in others?" Gwen said as a worm fell from the bowl and begin to crawl on the table
"I think I'm gonna be sick" Zach said in disgust
"If these don't sound good, I've got some smoked sheep's tongue in the fridge...?" Max suggested
This caused Zach to gag a bit
"Urgh, couldn't we just have a burger or something?" Ben asked
"Or maybe hotdogs? That would be nice" Zach added
"Nonsense. This summer's gonna be an adventure for your taste buds! I'll grab the tongue." Max said as he went inside the RV
"Man. Your grandfather has weird taste in gross food" Zach commented
"You have no idea" Ben said before turning to Gwen "Okay, I got a half-eaten bag of corn chips and a candy bar in my backpack. What do you got?"
"Some rice cakes and hard candy." Gwen replied before turning to Zach "What about you, Zach?"
"A bag of trail mix and some cookies" Zach replied
"Think we can make them last the whole summer?" Ben asked
The three children sulked
Back in outer space, the small ship was still fleeing from the Chimeran Hammer as it was shooting at it. Arsen made it to the escape pods. He puts one of the containers in the first escape pod. He then set the coordinates on a computer and pressed a button to jettison the pod.
"One down. One to go!" Arsen said
He then prepared the the second Omnitrix for the next escape pod
But just then, the Chimeran Hammer shot at the hull of the small ship.
"Their propulsion systems have been destroyed." the robot informed
"Prepare to board! I want the Omnitrixes, now." Vilgax said
The small ship fired a laser blast back at the Chimeran Hammer. It hits the control room causing the warlord to get caught in the explosion as he was send flying across the room. The large ship returned fire as it destroyed the back of the ship.
This caused the Galvan to nearly lose his balance.
"Oh no!" Arsen said in alarm "I'm running out of time! No choice. I'm gonna have to go to Earth with the second Omnitrix"
He quickly type on the computer to make a countdown for the second escape pod. Arsen the quickly gets inside the housing device of the second Omnitrix and shuts the door. Once the countdown reaches to 0, the escape pod flies out of the destroyed ship and into space. Out in space, a glowing light blue humanoid alien was flying by. She is a young Anodite from the planet Anodyne. What makes her different is that she is light blue instead of purple. Suddenly, the two containers zoomed past her.
"What's this?" she asked
Curious, the Anodite flies after the two pods which heads to Earth
Back on Earth, Ben was playing a handheld video game while Gwen was looking in her laptop. Zach on the other hand was reading a comic book. They were sitting apart from each other. Max then came in with a bag of marshmallows
"Who wants to roast marshmallows?" he asked
"I can go for some" Zach replied "What about you guys?"
The cousins don't respond to his question
"How 'bout we tell scary stories?" Max asked
"Scarier than having to spend a summer with your FREAK of a cousin" Ben said while laughing to himself
Gwen was annoyed by this
"I'd like to, Grandpa, but I'm busy doing a web search on cures for 'extreme doofus-ness'! Nothing yet, Ben, but let's not give up hope!" she said
"Oh come on, you two. Can't you go one day without getting at each other's throats" Zach said
"Zach's right. We're all in this together. You can mope around like this all summer, or we can have some fun. Now whaddya say?" Max asked
"I vote for moping" Gwen replied
"I'm gonna take a walk. Smell ya around, Gwen." Ben said as he walked into the woods
"I, uh, think they're starting to grow on each other." Max said
"I'll go after him. Gotta make sure he doesn't hurt himself" Zach said as he walks after his best friend
Zach was walking through the woods searching for Ben.
"Ben!" he called "Where are ya buddy?"
Just as he was walking he sees something falling through the sky.
"Is that a falling star?" he asked
Suddenly, it fell somewhere near Zach's location causing a little explosion.
"Hmmm." he said as raced over to where the object crashed
After getting between some trees, Zach saw a small crater with a mysterious pod
"What is this?" he asked as he jumped into the crater to see it.
The pod opens to reveal a mysterious device resembling a watch. It beeps and shows a light blue hourglass symbol on it.
"Is that a wristwatch?" Zach asked himself "Why would it be from outer space?"
Suddenly, the device leaped out of the pod and clamped onto Zach's left wrist
"Whoa! What kind of watch is this!?" he shouted as he shook his wrist "And it won't come off"
He then heard groaning. Zach turns to see a frog like alien lying on in the pod
"Is that some kind of frog? Was he in the pod with the watch the whole time?" Zach wondered
He kneeled down and gently puts a finger at the alien's neck to feel a pulse. The human boy got a heart beat.
"He's breathing. That's good" Zach said "I should probably get him somewhere safe"
He then picks up the alien, gets out of the crater, and walks off in the woods.
In another part of the woods, Ben had discovered a device in a pod similar to the one Zach found. The only difference is that the device glowed green.
"A watch? What's a watch doing in outer space?" he asked
Just like with Zach, the device leaped out of the pod and latched onto Ben's wrist
"Aaaah! Get off me! Get off, get off!" Ben shouted
He tries to get it off, but he lost and balance and fell down. Ben climbs out of the crater and runs off
"Grandpa!" he screamed
Back at the campsite, Gwen and Max were waiting for the two boys to come back
"Hm. Ben and Zach has been gone a while. Well, I guess they can't get into too much trouble out here." Max said
"Unless one of them wound up bear food." Gwen said. This caused Max to look at her "Hey, I can dream, can't I?"
Back with Zach, he had just placed the Galvan on a nearby rock while he tries to get the Omnitrix off of his wrist. In the distance, the light blue anodite flew down on the ground in the woods. She was amazed as she observed the environment around her.
"Wow. This is a neat planet" she said
The Anodite then noticed Zach attempting to remove the device from his wrist
"Who's this?" she asked as she hid behind a tree "Is he a human?"
Zach pulled as hard as he could on the Omnitrix. He then pulled even harder and ends up falling over. The anodite giggled as she saw that
"He's kinda cute" she said
"It's official" Zach said "This watch won't come off"
He unknowingly pressed a button on the device and the face plate springs up and changes into a diamond showing a black silhouette
"What's this?"
The same thing happened with Ben after he attempts to pry his device off. The face plate pops up and changed into a diamond showing a black silhouette
"Cool" Ben said
At the same time, both boys slammed down on the face plate. Suddenly, both boys underwent a transformation as molten rocks covered their body. The anodite was surprised as she saw Zach transforming into a creature made of burning rock with a blue hourglass symbol on his chest
"Oh my" she said
"Whoa. That was strange" Zach said before he realized how different he sound "Why does my voice sound different?"
He holds up his hands and sees that they're on fire. Zach screamed as he realized he is a fiery creature.
"I'm on fire! Stop, drop, and roll!" he yelled as he begins to roll on the ground only to realize that he is not burning "Wait a second. I'm on fire, but I'm not burning"
He spots a nearby puddle and looks in it to see his reflection
"Wow. That watch turned me into some kind of magma like monster" Zach said before a fireball appeared in his hand "Now that's cool. Let's see what I can do"
He then hurls the fireball at a nearby tree causing it to burn a bit
"Now that is hot!" Zach said "No pun intended"
The fire alien then heard groaning. He turn to see Arsen slowly waking up
"Where am I?" he asked as he got up and looked around "Is this planet Earth? It must be judging by the environment. But wait. Where's my Omnitrix?"
"Hey. You're awake" Zach said causing the Galvan to look at him "Glad to see you're okay"
"You. Pyronite! What have you done with my Omnitrix?!" Arsen demanded
"Pyronite?" Zach asked "And what do you mean your Omnitrix?"
"I was the one who created it. Now I'll ask again: What have you done with my Omnitrix?" Arsen repeated
"Heh heh. That's a funny story, little guy. You see..." Zach began before looking up to see smoke coming from somewhere in the woods "Hold that thought"
He then runs to the source of the smoke.
"Where do you think you're going?! Come back here!" the Galvan shouted as he raced after the human turned alien
Curious, the young Anodite secretly followed them
Meanwhile, Ben, having transformers into a Pyronite also, was testing out his new fire abilities.
"Uh-huh! Here goes!" he yelled as he threw a small fire ball at a branch blasting it off "That's what I'm talking about."
He then creates a large fireball
"Likin' it...!"
Ben then hurled it and the large fireball went through three trees. Unfortunately, that ended causing a forest fire
"Wait! Stop! " he yelled but the fire continues to spread
Ben attempts to put it out, but it only made the fire grow larger
"Oh man. I am gonna get so busted for this." he groaned
Back at the campsite, Gwen had just came out of the Rust Bucket. She then noticed the smoke from the woods
"What's that?" she asked
Max, who was sitting by the campfire, stands up and sees the smoke
"Looks like the start of a forest fire. We better let the Rangers' Station know. Probably some darn fool camper out there, messing around with something he shouldn't." Max said
He and Gwen then came to a realization
"Ben!" Max yelled
"Zach!" Gwen added
The elder man quickly opens a camping kit and takes out two fire extinguishers. He gives one to Gwen
"Better take this!" he said
They then ran through the forest
Meanwhile, Ben was still trying to put out the fire, but to no avail
"This would be so cool, if it weren't so - not cool!" he said
Gwen was running through the forest putting out the fire using her fire extinguisher. She then fired it on the Pyronite's back. When Ben turns around to face her, Gwen screamed as she saw him
"Look, I know I look weird, but there's no reason to be scared-"
But Gwen interrupts Ben by hitting him in the head with the fire extinguisher knocking him to the ground. He tries to get up, but Gwen sprays him with the fire extinguisher.
"Hey!" Ben yelled as he coughed
"I don't know what you are, but you'll stay down there if you know what's good for you!" Gwen said as she held the fire extinguisher in front of him
Ben shoots a little fireball at Gwen's shoe.
"Ow!" she yelled as she hopped on one foot before putting the fire out "I warned you!"
"Don't even think about it, freak!" Ben said
Gwen stops as she knows who would call her that
"...Ben? Is that you? What happened...?!" Gwen asked
Just then, Zach ran in
"What's going on here?" he asked
"Aaaaah! Another one?!" Gwen yelled before holding up the fire extinguisher at him "Stay away from us! I got a fire extinguisher and I'm not afraid to use it!"
"Whoa! Take it easy, Gwen" Zach said as he held his hands up
"How do you know my name?" Gwen asked skeptically
"You called me a sidekick before we came to this campsite" Zach reminded
This caused Ben and Gwen gasped
"Zach?" Gwen asked
"No way, is that really you, buddy?" asked Ben
"I guess so. And is that you, Ben?" Zach asked
"Sure is" Ben replied "Looks like you got the same watch as I have"
"It appears so" Zach added
"Can both of you explain to me what is going on here?" Gwen asked
"Well, when I was walking, this meteor fell from the sky and almost smudged me, except that it wasn't a meteor or a satellite, but this cool watch thing that jumped up onto my wrist, and when I tried to get it off, I suddenly was on fire, only it didn't hurt when I was accidentally starting this mega forest fire!" Ben quickly explained
"And when I was walking through the forest to find him, I found a capsule with a watch similar to his and then it clamped onto my wrist" Zach replied
"It's called an Omnitrix"
The three look to see Arsen runs in. Gwen screams as he attempts to stomp on him, but the Galvan leaps away and lands on a rock
"What is that?!" the girl asked
"Oh yeah. I forgot. I found him in the capsule along with this Omnitrix" Zach explained "He's some kind of little frog monster"
"Technically, I'm an alien." Arsen corrected "And it seems both my creation and my master's creation has been activated"
Just then, Grandpa Max arrived
"Gwen, are you alri- What in blazes?" Max asked as he noticed the two Pyronites and Galvan
"Hey, Grandpa, guess who?" Gwen asked
"It's me, Grandpa!" Ben said with a wave
"Hey, Mr. Tennyson" Zach greeted
"Ben? Zach?" Max asked "What happened to you two?"
"Well, when I was walking, this meteor-" Ben began
"Perhaps we can hold off on the explanations for later" Arsen interrupted
"I have to agree with the little guy" Zach said "We got to put out of this forest fire"
"What do we do?" Ben asked
"Hmmm. I've got an idea. Maybe you Pyronites can start another fire" Arsen said
"What?!" Zach asked in shock "But won't that make it worse?"
"Not unless the fire is controlled" Arsen said
"Of course. Backfire. Start a new fire and let it burn into the old fire. They'll snuff each other out. Think you can do it, boys?" Max asked
"Shooting flames? I can definitely do." Ben replied
"Me too" Zach added
The two Pyronites ran off into the forest while Max picks up Arsen as he and Gwen raced away. The two boys then got a good distance away from the forest
"You ready to do this?" Ben asked
"Oh yeah" Zach answered
They both shot fire at the trees. A few minues later, a park ranger drives in and looks at the burned forest. He was confused by how that has happened
Meanwhile in outer space just over planet Earth, Vilgax had been placed in a stasis tank with some of his body parts missing following his mutillation
"What do you mean they're not there? This battle nearly costs me my life! And you say the Omnitrixes are no longer on board the transport?!" he yelled at his robot lieutenant
"Sensors indicate that two probes were jettisoned from the ship, just before boarding. It landed on the planet below." the robot informed Vilgax
"Go. Bring them to me." the Chimera Sui Generis warlord said to two robots in the shadow
The robots complied and walks off
Back on earth, Ben and Zach regrouped with Gwen, Max, and Arsen at the campsite. Unbeknownst to them, the light blue Anodite was watching them from a distance
"More of them? Wow" she said while hiding behind a tree
"And you two say that these watches just 'jumped up and clamped onto your wrists'?" Max asked
"That's about right" Zach replied
"Hey, this time it wasn't my fault" Ben said as Gwen tossed a marshmallow over to him and he eats it "I swear!"
"I believe you, Ben" Max said before turning to Zach "And you're saying that you found this frog alien with the watch that you found, Zach?"
"Uh huh" Zach replied
"Technically, I am a Galvan" Arsen replied as he finished eating a marshmallow
"A what?" Zach asked
"A Galvan. I'm an alien from the planet Galvan Prime" Arsen replied "My name is Arsen by the way"
"Nice to meet you Arsen" Zach said "And also, I've never heard of Galvan Prime"
"Of course you haven't" Arsen said "The galaxy is a lot larger than you think"
"Think they're gonna stay monsters forever?" Gwen asked
"They're not a monsters. They're aliens." Max said causing Ben, Zach, and Gwen to look at him inquisitively "I-I mean...look at them. What else could' they be?"
"Well, Arsen said that I am a... What did you call me earlier?" Zach asked the Galvan
"Pyronite. They're an alien species made entirely out of fire and molten rock. They are native to the planet Pyros which is in fact a functioning sun." Arsen explained
"That's interesting an all, but me and Zach don't wanna be 'fire guys' forever. How am I supposed to play Little League this fall if I charcoal the ball every time I catch a pop fly?" Ben asked
"What he said" Zach added "There's gotta be a way to change back to normal"
"Don't worry, boys. We'll figure these things out." Max assured them
Just then, the Omnitrix symbols on both Pyronites beeped red 5 times. And two blinding red lights glowed forcing Max, Gwen, and Arsen to shield their eyes. Even the Anodite shield her eyes as she saw this. They uncovered their eyes to see that Ben and Zach are back in their human forms. They both looked at themselves and smiled
"Hah! I'm me again!" Ben said
"So am I!" Zach added before looking at his Omnitrix "But how come we changed back?"
"That I can answer" Arsen said "Both transformations of the Omnitrixes would take about 10 minutes. If the time is up, then it would go into Recharge Mode"
"How long will it take to recharge?" Zach asked
"About 5 minutes" Arsen answered
"Aw, too bad. I liked you better when you were a briquette." Gwen said to Ben
"I still can't get this thing off." he said as he attempts to get it off
"Better not fool with it anymore until we know exactly what we're dealing with. That goes for you too, Zach. I'll go check out that crash site. You guys stay here until I get back." Max said as he walks into the forest while shining a flashlight
Up in space, a pod was ejected from Vilgax's ship and flew towards Earth while a second pod was ejected to Earth also. The first one landed in the forest way near the Omnitrix's pod. The robot opens to reveal itself as a Mechadroid. It then begins to scan the pod where the Omnitrix was. The robot then destroyed the capsule before sending out two small Mechadroids. The second Mechadroid landed near the crater where Zach's Omnitrix is it then did the same as it destroyed the pod and send out two Mechadroids as well.
Back at the campsite, Zach was talking with Arsen who was on his shoulder on the side of the Rust Bucket
"So let me see if I got this right. You were the one who created this watch on my wrist?" Zach asked
"Omnitrix. And yes I was the one who made it" Arsen replied "It was inspired by the one my master created"
"Your master?" Zach asked
"Yes. I happened to be his apprentice back on Galvan Prime. His creation of the Omnitrix that your friend wields is what inspired me to create the one you now wear" Arsen explained
"Interesting" Zach said before looking at his Omnitrix. He then pressed a button to activate
"What are you doing? The elder man said not to mess with it" Arsen reminded
"I know that. But I'm just trying to figure out how to use this Omnitrix" Zach replied
Meanwhile in the forest, Max was seen investigating the crash site where Ben discovered the Omnitrix.
"I don't like this one little bit." he muttered as he examines a metal debris
"Okay so I think I figured it out how this works" Zach said "I just have to push this button and the faceplate will pop up"
As he said that, Zach's Omnitrix was fully charged. Zach pushed the button and his Omnitrix activates as the faceplate pops up and the diamond shape appeared with the alien's silhouette
"And I turn the dial to select the the alien I want" Zach said before turning the dial to see silhouettes of different aliens "Then I slammed down on the faceplate and transform into that alien"
"Yes. Those are the basic steps for using the Omnitrix" Arsen pointed out
"You know, Arsen. Maybe I can put your Omnitrix to good use" Zach said
"What do you mean?" the Galvan asked
"What I mean is. I can use this device to help people. And I can do that by becoming a hero" Zach
"You sure you want to do that?" the Galvan asked
"Of course. And with your expertise on the different alien species, you can train me along with Ben on how to use it. What do you say?" asked Zach
"Hmmm. I don't know. You and your friend are very young and don't have experience using it" Arsen began "But then again, I suppose I could train you on how to use the different aliens' powers."
"Does that mean you'll do it?" asked Zach
"Yes, kid" Arsen said "I will help train you and Ben"
Just then a bright green light flashed which got their attention
"What was that?" Zach asked
"It seems as though your friend has activated my Master's Omnitrix" Arsen said
"Let's check it out" Zach said
They rushed to the campfire and sees Gwen and an orange beast like alien with the Omnitrix symbol on it's leg
"Gwen. What happened?" Zach asked
"Ben just activated his watch and turned into this orange dog like alien" Gwen explained
"That's a Vulpimancer" Arsen said
"A Vulpi-what?" Zach asked confused
"Vulpimancer. They are beast like aliens native to the planet Vulpin." Arsen explained
"Interesting" Zach said
Gwen looked at the Vulpimancer drooling
"Ew! This thing's even uglier than you are normally! Hah, wow, put a flea collar on this mutt!" she said
This caused Ben to roar at her
"I don't think he likes what you said about him, Gwen" Zach said
"Vulpimancers lack any eyes and have gill like nostrils on the both sides of their bodies" Arsen continue to explain
"No eyes? What good is this one? It can't see!" Gwen said
Looking at the the marshmallow stick she was holding, Gwen gets an idea
"Gwen, what are you doing?" asked Zach
"Shhh" Gwen shushed
Gwen then sneaked up behind Ben. She then breathe on her hands and is preparing to hit him with the stick. But the gills on the Vulpimancer's head opens allowing him to detect Gwen like a radar. He then leaps in the air to avoid Gwen's hit and lands on top of the Rust Bucket.
"Whoa!" Zach said in surprise
"I forgot to mention that the Vulpimancers' main sense is their smell. Combined with their enhanced hearing allows their senses to take the form of a radar to perceive their environment." the young Galvan explained
"Okay. So maybe it's not a total loser." Gwen said as Ben leaps back down and begins to open it's mouth "Ew, two words: 'breath', 'mints'."
The Vulpimancer then kicked dirt on his cousin and leaps into the trees
"Ben! Get back here! Ben! I'm gonna tell Grandpa that you turned into some freaky-animal-monster-thing and went swinging around the forest when he told you not to! Oh, this is a majorly weird day." Gwen said before turning to Zach "Don't just stand there. Go after him! You're his best friend"
"Okay okay" Zach said before he activates his Omnitrix and scrolls through the aliens "I'll need someone to search from the air"
The boy slammed on the faceplate and starts to transform. Once it was done, Zach is now an insect like alien with four insect-like pincer legs and two arms with hands consisting of three clawed fingers. His body is blue and black. He also has four eye stalks coming out from both sides of his head. The Omnitrix symbol is on his chest
"Ewww! This bug smells even worse than a big smelly dog" Gwen said as she held her nose
"I'm more of an Odor Bug" Zach replied "Maybe that's what I'll call this form. Hey Arsen. What alien species am I?"
"A Lepidopterran" Arsen answered "They are native to the planet Lepidopterra. Not only can they fly, but they can shoot green slimy liquid from their eye stalks and mouth"
"That sounds gross" Gwen said in disgust
"But it should do" Odor bug said "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a Wildmutt to find"
He then flapped his wings and flew into the forest
Odor Bug flew through the forest in search of his friend.
"Where is he?" he asked
Just as he continues to search, a laser blast shot at him forcing him to dodge
"What the?"
He then sees the two small Mechadroids
"Killer robots? What are they doing here?" Odor Bug wondered
The mini Mechadroids fired at him, forcing Odor Bug to dodge them while flying away
"They must want the Omnitrix" the Lepidopterran guessed "We'll see about that"
Remembering what Arsen said about Lepidopterrans, Odor Bug turns around and shoots green liquid at the robots from his eyes. The green slime hit one of the robots causing it to melt
"One down, one to go. Maybe I can use the trees to my advantage" he said
The Lepidopterran then hid behind a tree. The Mechadroid was searching for him. When it's back was turn, Odor Bug flew in and tackled the Mechadroid causing it to crash on the ground. Then on instinct, Odor Bug used his stinger to cut the Robot's body allowing him to tear it apart.
"That ought to do it" he said "Now to find Ben"
He begins to fly off to continue his search for his friend. In another part of the forest, Wildmutt was dealing with a Mechadroid himself. He had just ripped out it's head before seeing it heading towards a cliff. Then, the Omnitrix plate on his wrist started to beep red. Seeing this, Wildmutt leaps off as he changes back into Ben. The boy then looks to see that the robot has been dealt with
"Yes!" he said as he pumped his arm
Then, Odor Bug arrived on the scene and lands in front of Ben
"Ben, there you are" he said
"Zach?" Ben asked
The Omnitrix symbol on Odor Bug's chest beeped 5 times and he changes back into Zach
"It's me, bud" Zach replied "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Just took out a killer robot" Ben answered
"You did? I just took out two robots as well." Zach said
Suddenly, another Mechadroid appeared behind Ben and is preparing to fire a laser at it
"I think you miss one" Zach said
"Whoa. Not good" Ben said in fright
Just then, a shovel whacked the robot in the face. The boys look to see Gwen holding the shovel. Arsen is on her shoulder
"Back off, Sparky! No flying tree-trimmer is going to hurt my cousin!" she yelled as she begins to pummel the robot with the shovel
"Never thought I'd say this, but am I glad to see you." Ben said
"When did you guys get here?" Zach asked
"We arrived here 22 minutes ago" Arsen answered "And I would recommend that we vacate the premises"
The three children and Galvan sees that the small Mechadroid is catching fire
"Good idea. Let's get out of here!" Zach yelled
They ran away as fast as they can while the robot explode.
Back at the Rust Bucket, Max was scolding Ben and Zach for using the Omnitrix again. The light blue Anodite secretly watched them from outside
"I was worried that you two might get popular with those things on your wrist. That's why I asked you not to fool around with them until we know what the heck they are. Max lectured
"Sorry, Grandpa... But at least I figured out how to make it work. All you do is press this button. Then, when the ring pops up, just twist it until you see the guy you wanna be. Slam it down, and bammo! You're one of ten super-cool alien dudes!" Ben explained
"I figured out how to use it as well" Zach added
"What about staying a super-cool alien dude and not transforming back into plain old pizza-face?" Gwen asked with a smirk
"I- kinda haven't figured that part out yet." Ben replied before turning to Arsen who was on the table "Hey, Arsen. Do you know how me and Zach can stay as one the aliens we turn into?"
"Sorry, kid. My master never gave me the command code for that" Arsen admitted
"Aw man" Ben sighed
"With a devices as powerful as those watches clamped on you, my guess is we better help you two learn, fast." Max said
"And with my alien expertise, you two boys will learn how to use them properly" Arsen added
"All right!" the boys cheered as they hi-fived each other
"Mayday! Mayday! Somebody help us! We're under attack by some sort of - I know you're not going to believe me, but… robots!" a man's voice was heard from the radio
This caused Ben and Zach to look at each other
"You don't think it's the same robots that attacked us right?" Zach asked
"It could be. Must be looking for the watch. Those people are in trouble because of me! I think I can help them." Ben said as he stood up
"Not alone, you're not. I'm going in too" Zach added as he stood up too
"And what are you going to do about it, boys?" Gwen asked
The boys respond by looking at their Omnitrixes and giving a smile
The light blue Anodite turned invisible as the Tennysons, Zach, and Arsen went out of the Rust Bucket. The boys's Omnitrixes lights up. They looked at Max who nod in approval. Ben and Zach both activate their respective Omnitrixes. They then turned the dial and got to a silhouette of an alien
"Ready?" Ben asked
"Oh yeah" Zach replied
They both slammed down on the faceplate and begin to transform. Crystals encases their body while spikes appeared from their backs while growing in size. They are crystal like aliens. Ben's crystal alien form has a black and white jumpsuit with the Omnitrix symbol on the left side of his chest. Zach's crystal alien form has a black and blue jumpsuit with the Omnitrix symbol on the right side of his chest.
"So what can these guys do?" Gwen asked
The boys begin to examine themselves
"I don't know" Ben answered "But I bet it's gonna be cool"
"What he said" Zach added "So what kind of alien species are we?"
"Petrosapiens" Arsen replied "They are native to the planet Petropia. Their bodies are made entirely out of green silicon crystals. Petrosapiens also have the ability to manipulate the structures of their physiology to form weapons."
"That sounds awesome!" Zach said
The five arrived at a campsite full of RVs. People were running away as two large Mechadroids attacking the place
"Looks like papa-robot this time." Ben said
"And it's got a partner too" Zach added
"We'll get the Gearheads' attention, you guys get the campers to safety." Ben said to his family
"And Arsen. Be sure to stay hidden" Zach said to the Galvan "Don't want to freak anyone out"
"Right" Arsen said before turning to Max "Mind if I hide in your pocket?"
"Sure thing" Max said
Arsen leaps into Max's pants pocket as Max and Gwen run off to evacuate the campers
"You ready to do this?" Ben asked Zach
"Always. You take one out and I'll take the other one" Zach answered back
"Sounds like a plan" Ben said
The two Petrosapiens race off to fight the Mechadroids. One of the Mechadroids picked up a park ranger
"Leave him alone! You want somebody to pick on? Try me" Ben said
The large Mechadroid scanned the Petrosapien and sees the Omnitrix symbol on him. The Mechadroid then blast Ben away who lands in an RV but not before the robot blast the RV. The other Mechadroid was seen blasting blasting away at some RVs. It then begin to target some campers who are running away.
"Hey you big hunk of steel!"
The second Mechadroid turn to see Zach. It scans the Petrosapien and sees the Omnitrix on his chest
"You want a piece of me?" he yelled
The Mechadroid fires at Zach, but he leaps away
"Let's see what I can do" Zach said
He concentrates and forms his right arm into a blade
"Cool" he said
The Mechadroid attempts to blast him but the Petrosapien dodged each blast. He attempts to strike at the Mechadroid, but it leaps into the air and begins to spin it's legs.
"Uh oh" Zach said
He leaps away just as the giant robot crashed into the ground. The Mechadroid picks up the Petrosapien and throws him away making him skid on the ground. Just as the Mechadroid fire it's lazer at him, Zach quickly produced a shield from his right hand to deflect the blast. Meanwhile, Gwen and Max were helping the park ranger.
"What is going on here?" the ranger asked
"You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you. Now come on." Gwen said as she and her grandfather runs off
Back with Zach, he was still battling the Mechadroid.
"Okay. Enough's enough!" he shouted
Looking at the ground, Zach slammed his fist into the ground. As he did that, a large crystal spike shot up from underneath the robot and pierced through the bottom part of it's body. Smirking, Zach charged in with a battle cry while morphing his hands into spiked blades. The Mechadroid attempts to swipe at him, but Zach dodges it and slices the arms off with his blade. He then begins to slice off the robot's legs. Once that was done, the Petrosapien then climbs up the robot and sliced off it's head. Zach then lands on the ground
"Yes!" he said while pumping his arm
Meanwhile, Ben was dealing with the other Mechadroid as he dodged it's laser blasts. Suddenly, a laser blast hit a tree and it begins to fall towards Gwen. Ben quickly rushes in front of her and grows massive spikes on his back to cut the tree in half which falls between Gwen.
"So, we even?" he asked as he retracts the spikes back
"Even" Gwen replied
Suddenly, the Mechadroid grabs Diamondhead. It then begins to grab his arm to where the Omnitrix, but a giant crystal cuts it off
"Back off you bucket of bolts!" Emerald Man said as he rushed over
Seeing him, the Mechadroid blast Diamondhead away. He crashed into a house
"Ben!" yelled Max
"No!" Emerald Man shouted
He rushes over while dodging the Mechadroid's lasers. He goes over to the rubble and helps Diamondhead up from the rubble
"Are you okay, bud?" he asked
"Never better" Diamondhead answered before looking at the Mechadroid approahcing "Stand back. I got this one"
He then morphed his hands into blades and raced up to the large robot. The robot shoots a laser at the Petrosapien, but he holds up his blades to deflect it. It nearly hit Gwen and Max.
'I hope you know what you're doing' thought Zach
Diamondhead then rushes up to the Mechdroid again
"C'mon! Burn one in here!" he taunted while pointing at his chest
"Get out of there. Run!" Max yelled
The Mechadroid fired it's laser again, but Diamondhead held out his palms to catch. He was pushed back, but he used the spikes in his feet to anchor himself to the ground. Emerald Man runs up to see his friend
"'What comes around, goes around.' Let's see how you like it, ya techno freak!" Diamondhead said
He then refracts the light and use it to cut the Mechadroid in half, destroying it in the process. Emerald Man then walks up to him
"Heh. Not bad" he said
"Thanks" Diamondhead said
The two Petrosapiens give each other a hi-five
"All right!" Max and Gwen cheered
"Way to go Be-" Max said before looking at the campers "...um - Diamond-headed guy! And you too, Emerald Man!"
Oh yeah! Who's bad?! Yeah!" Diamondhead said as he jumped up
Emerald Man groans as he held his face in embarassment. Max and Gwen waves to him as they show the campers watching. As he saw them, Gwen and Max shake their heads in embarassment.
"Well, I… think our work here is done." Diamondhead said "Come on, bud. We're outta here"
"Right" Emerald Man said
The two Petrosapiens rush off while Max and Gwen tiptoe away
"Who were those guys?" a camper asked
Meanwhile, the light blue anodite became visible while in the air. She had seen the whole thing
"That was so cool" she said "Maybe I'll keep an eye on them. Especially that cute boy in the blue shirt"
With a giggle, the anodite secretly flew after them in the air
Meanwhile, on Vilgax's ship, the warlord had been told the bad news
"Failure?! Unbelievable! The puny Earth beings that are keeping the Omnitrixed from me- will soon hang on my trophy wall." he vowed
Back on Earth, Max, Zach, and Gwen were packing loading some stuff in the Rust Bucket. Arsen was on Zach's shoulder
"Where's Ben?" asked Max
"I haven't seen him since breakfast." Gwen replied
"That's really weird. Where did he go?" Zach asked
"I think we're about find out" Arsen answered
They turn to see some rushing from a distance. It was revealed to be a blue dinosaur like alien with wheels on it's feet. A visor was covering his face
"Ben?" Max and Zach asked
The vizor uncovers to reveal his face
"Yep. Hey, check this out!" Ben said before using his super speed to pack everything up in a speed pace "Pretty fast, huh?"
"Sure is" Zach replied "What alien is he?"
"He's a Kineceleran. They are native to the planet Kinet. These aliens are always on the move due to the rapid changes on their homeworld" Arsen answered
The Omnitrix then beeps red as Ben changes back to normal
"I think this is gonna be the best summer ever." Ben said
"I agree" Zach added
"Absolutely." Max added
"I definitely would like to see more of what Planet Earth has" Arsen admitted
"It's definitely going to be interesting. So, where'd you go anyway?" Gwen asked
"Just had to take care of a couple of things before our vacation really got rolling." Ben answered
"Wait. What did you do?" Zach asked
"Let's just say that JT and Cash are going to be hanging around for a while" Ben said
"Why am I not surprised?" Zach said with a face palm
And so, the Tennysons, Zach, and Arsen got into the Rust Bucket and drove off. The light blue Anodite from before was following them from behind. The adventure is just the beginning for Ben and Zach as they will go on many adventures and meeting different people and facing off against enemies.
