Omens

The year 2006

The next day, after a tired day at work, Harry found himself falling asleep at his desk, falling into a deep sleep that soon turned into an unexpected vision.

In that dream world, his eyes opened and were met with the familiarity of the objects on his desk. However, a whisper pierced the space, calling his name. It wasn't just any voice; It was Hermione's voice.

When he raised his head, he saw an image of Hermione, but an older version. The woman standing in the entrance to his office was at least forty years old, if not older. The small, soft lines that had appeared on her face spoke of years lived, and some silver strands were intertwined in her hair, but to Harry, she was still as beautiful as ever. Surprise lit his eyes as he met this vision of Hermione.

"Harry, my love…"

Harry blinked and stood up from his seat next to the desk when he heard Hermione call him that, he was a little confused, but she was looking at him with a tender smile.

"Mione… Did you call me…?" Harry asked as he slowly approached her.

"My sweet husband…" Hermione continued maintaining her smile.

Harry still didn't know how to react to this, but at that moment he noticed that Hermione did indeed have a wedding ring on her finger. Then he looked up and noticed the necklace on her neck from which his golden snitch was hanging.

"I see you met James and Lilly" Hermione spoke and brought him out of his thoughts.

Harry frowned without understanding, but seconds later he remembered Louis and Jane and the realization hit him like a bucket of cold water. His eyes widened.

Of course, if they wanted to go unnoticed and not raise too many suspicions, they had to at least change their names.

He thought of ''Jane'', with her auburn hair that she had clearly inherited from Hermione. It had the same smooth, shiny texture, but that reddish hue reminded him of his mother, Lily Potter. Her mother's memories had always been blurry and shrouded in a sense of loss, but on Jane's face, those memories took on a new depth and beauty. Her green eyes were identical to his. They were the same eyes he saw every time he looked in the mirror, but on Jane's face, those eyes took on a new intensity.

Then, his mind drifted to Louis. He had Hermione's brown hair and honey eyes. Those eyes that had always given him comfort and love, and now they shone with the same intelligence and warmth in him.

He nodded his head slightly to ask Hermione, who responded with a slight nod and the same smile on her face. His eyes became moist.

"I love you..." Hermione said and caressed Harry's right cheek with her hand, as she slowly approached him.

Harry gasped at Hermione's words and closed his eyes under her touch. Her skin was soft and warm. Seconds later a light kiss like the fall of a feather landed on his lips.

He wasn't far behind, he brought his hand to Hermione's cheek and gently pressed his lips against hers, holding the kiss for another few seconds. If this was a damn dream, he never want to wake up.

"Tell me this is not a dream. I love you, Hermione," Harry said when they finally broke apart, as he continued to caress her cheek and feel the tears build up. His eyes roamed all over Hermione's face looking for confirmation that it wasn't a dream.

"Everything's going to be okay darling…" Hermione tilted her head, catching Harry's hand and putting her other hand on top of his, stroking his hand with her finger.

Harry put their foreheads together and they both closed their eyes just feeling each other's company and warmth.

"But time is ticking and everything needs to be put in order," Hermione said, still with her forehead next to Harry's.

Harry didn't understand what Hermione meant by that, he wanted to ask her, but when he opened his eyes, Hermione was gone.

Harry was fast asleep on his desk, his mind still filled with emotion from the kiss he had shared with Hermione. His voice murmured her name in a restless sleep as he searched for her.

The sound of the clock in the office ticking away seemed to be Harry's only company at the moment.

His mind was filled with questions about what she had mentioned before leaving, about "time is ticking and everything needs to be put in order ." But there were no answers, only a deep longing to find her again.

…………………………………………………

Hermione had spent the entire night turning in her head about the door she had opened the day before, which had led her to a place full of secrets and dangers, and Hermione had to discover the truth behind that room of mirrors before it was too late.

She decided that she had to go to the ministry library that day to do more research on the strange broken mirrors.

When she was at the ministry she walked through the hallways towards the library deep in thought.

At that same moment, Harry was walking towards Kingsley's office, taking the same path as Hermione without knowing it. The tension was still present between them, and both were lost in their thoughts.

Suddenly, without realizing that they were coming in the opposite direction, they both raised their faces and met each other's gaze before colliding with each other. At that moment, both of them looked directly into each other's eyes without being able to articulate any words. Silence filled the hallway, and the tension between them seemed to grow even more.

Hermione's eyes, full of emotion, and Harry's reflected an amalgamation of feelings. Surprise, tension and confusion took over the scene, and for an instant, it seemed that time had frozen in that ministry hallway.

The tension between them was palpable. They both looked directly at each other, but neither seemed to be able to articulate a word. It was as if the weight of everything that had happened had been concentrated in that singular encounter.

Silence dominated the hallway, only interrupted by the nervous sighs of both of them. They didn't know whether they should go back or forward, speak or remain silent, and that indecision filled the air with an uncertain magnetism.

Their gazes, still trapped in each other, seemed to search for answers, but none came. Their pulses pounded in their veins, and the tension between them became unbearable.

A few seconds later, the tension between them was momentarily displaced by intrigue, when voices from behind the nearby door caught their attention. They frowned simultaneously, wondering what was happening in the adjacent office.

Harry, with his index finger on his lips, signaled for Hermione to be quiet so they could both hear better. At that moment, it seemed that all their conflicts and disagreements had taken a backseat to the possibility of discovering what was happening in the neighboring office.

However, despite their efforts to listen, the voices remained unintelligible. The words seemed to be muffled by the door, which only added to Hermione and Harry's intrigue.

Harry moved forward to open the next door, but before he could turn the handle, he felt Hermione's warm hand on his arm. The concern in her eyes did not go unnoticed by him.

Harry's heart skipped a beat as he saw the concern in Hermione's eyes. She still cared about him. It was a small but significant gesture. Harry smiled softly back, trying to convey that everything would be okay. Hermione nodded slowly, indicating that she was ready to enter.

Harry stepped cautiously towards the door and gestured for Hermione to draw her wand. The seriousness reflected on his face as he nodded in the direction of the door. With slow movements, Harry turned the handle and they entered the small adjoining office.

Inside the office, Lilly and James were absorbed in their activities, unaware that they were about to be discovered by their parents.

Lilly was sitting in front of a table covered in books and scrolls. Concentrating, she ran her fingers through the pages of one of the books, carefully reading the instructions for a spell related to the time-turner. James was at her side, watching curiously as his sister studied.

When Harry and Hermione saw "Louis and Jane", they lowered their wands. However, Hermione's sharp gaze fell on the time-turner that Lilly held in her hands. A knot of surprise and confusion formed in her

stomach upon recognizing her magic item. The tension in the room grew instantly.

"Jane, what are you doing with that time-turner?" Hermione asked, approaching her with a mixture of scolding and curiosity.

Lilly, in her haste at being discovered, widened her eyes and reacted quickly. She waved her wand and murmured the words of the spell she had been studying. The time-turner resting in her hand began to emit an intense light that filled the room with a golden glow. The objects around them seemed to freeze in time, and the air was filled with a strange electricity.

Harry, who had kept his distance, watched James with an intense gaze, feeling the inexplicable connection between them. That brief moment of connection between father and son was abruptly broken when the time-turner emitted a shock wave that sent them all into the air, suspended for a few seconds and then they were thrown violently against the wall, and the world seemed to spin and distort around them. The sound of expansion filled their ears as they fell to the ground, unconscious.

Time vanished in a golden whirlwind as they became trapped in the time-turner's effect, unaware of what was happening around them.

A few minutes later, James and Lilly slowly opened their eyes and were met with the sight of their parents lying unconscious on the floor. A knot of terror formed in Lilly's stomach as she watched her mother and father seemingly motionless.

With clumsy, trembling movements, Lilly was the first to recover. She stood up unsteadily and walked towards her parents. With a knot of terror in her stomach, she fell to her knees beside them.

She feared that her desperation to try to save them had taken them too far.

Lilly took her mother's wrist with her trembling hand, desperately searching for any sign of life. Her fingers trembled as she searched for a pulse, and finally, she felt a weak but present heartbeat. Relief flooded her eyes, and with tears streaming down her cheeks, she moved to check her father's pulse.

While Lilly checked on her father, James approached his sister, his brow furrowed in an attempt to understand the situation.

"Lilly... if they were dead, we would have disappeared by now," he said with a tone of voice that mixed disbelief and confusion.

Lilly sat up straight, relief beginning to replace her initial fear. She nodded at her brother, and the two shared a look, reaching an unspoken understanding. They knew this gave them valuable time to flee and think of an appropriate response.

Although both parents were unconscious, they were alive, and that was what mattered at that moment.

Without another word, the two young Potters ran out of the office before their parents woke up. The next time they faced their parents, they knew the questions would come, but at least now they had time to prepare.

Meanwhile, certain very revealing things were happening in Harry and Hermione's minds.

A vision began to take shape. A newspaper from 2007 seemed to materialize in front of them, and their eyes landed on the bold headline:

"Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, the golden couple, welcome their firstborn James Sirius Potter Granger."

Under the headline, a photo of the two of them tenderly holding a small baby in their arms, their faces illuminated by smiles full of love and happiness.

Emotions surged in their hearts as they absorbed the image. A deep love and sense of connection enveloped them, filling them with an inexplicable warmth. Although the vision was fleeting, it left a lasting impression on their souls.

As their minds processed the vision, Harry and Hermione's consciousness slowly began to return. They opened their eyes, blinking to focus their gazes as they found themselves on the floor of the room. Their minds spun between the vision and the reality around them, leaving a feeling of mystery in the air.

Harry stood up with difficulty, rubbing his head, and extended his hand to Hermione, offering to help her get up off the ground. She took his hand gratefully, and together they stood in the middle of the room, still trying to recover from the shock of the spell and the vision.

"Are you Ok?" Harry asked worriedly, examining Hermione's face for any sign of discomfort.

However, his mind was somewhat clouded by the shaking and crashing.

"Yes, I'm fine, Harry. I just feel a little dazed," she replied, trying to downplay the situation, and forcing a smile to reassure him.

Their minds were still processing everything they had experienced. They both turned their gaze to the corners of the room, looking for the kids, but noticed that Jane and Louis had disappeared. Surprise mixed with confusion on their faces as they exchanged glances full of questions. There was no sign of them in the room.

They had both decided to keep the vision or whatever they saw in their heads when they were unconscious to themselves, as this could have been a mind game.

Days later, Harry was walking through the Ministry atrium with a determined step when he saw Hermione engaged in an animated conversation with Viktor Krum. His eyebrows furrowed involuntarily as he saw her smile and laugh at the Bulgarian quidditch player's words; jealousy burned inside him.

Deciding not to interrupt their conversation, Harry crossed his arms and watched from a distance, fighting the mix of emotions that washed over him. Jealousy, discomfort, and a touch of anger stirred inside him at seeing Hermione interact with Viktor like that.

Finally, the conversation between Hermione and Viktor came to an end, and Harry took the moment to continue on his way. However, Viktor turned away from Hermione and walked in Harry's direction.

Viktor knew that Harry had been watching from afar as he conversed with Hermione, and from his expression he knew that he was jealous. He decided to take advantage of the situation to have a little fun at Harry's expense.

"Potter," Viktor greeted him with an enigmatic smile.

Harry nodded in response, but couldn't help but feel tense in the Bulgarian's presence. The tension between them was quite obvious, and Viktor seemed to enjoy it.

"Krum," Harry responded with a cold voice.

Viktor looked at him calmly before speaking with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

"You seem a little tense, jealous, perhaps?"

Viktor's words took him by surprise and his expression hardened.

"I have no reason to be jealous, Viktor. Hermione and I are not a couple."

"But that doesn't change how you feel, right, Potter?" Viktor raised an eyebrow, maintaining his enigmatic smile.

Harry clenched his fists in his pockets, struggling to maintain his composure. He couldn't deny that Viktor's words had hit home. He felt a knot of jealousy in his chest every time he saw Hermione smile with someone else.

"Make no mistake, Krum. I have no problem with you, as long as you don't hurt Hermione."

Viktor watched him calmly before letting out a mocking laugh.

"Understood, Potter. But let me make something clear to you, if Hermione and I decide to be together, I won't care what you think."

Viktor's response made him angry. However, before he could say anything else, Viktor turned and walked away with a provocative smile on his lips.

The door to Harry's office shook from the slam as Hermione burst in, her expression a mix of worry and anger. The air charged with the tension that floated between them.

"What did you say to Viktor?" Hermione asked her tone firm but full of alarm.

Harry stood up, facing the storm that had entered his office. Their eyes met, and for a moment, heavy silence seemed to fill the room.

"Not much, Hermione. I just made it clear to him that he shouldn't hurt you." Harry tried to remain calm, but his gaze still burned with the anger that Viktor had stoked.

Hermione frowned, searching Harry's eyes for some hidden truth. However, before she could respond, Harry continued.

"I don't want you to get hurt, that's all" He sighed, running a hand through his messy hair "But it seems like you don't care much what I think."

Hermione let out a frustrated sigh and crossed her arms.

"I can take care of myself, Harry. You don't need to intervene."

Hermione's response struck Harry as a reminder of the rift that was forming between them.

"Don't worry about that," he answered evasive and curtly.

Hermione clenched her fists, her simmering anger bursting into words.

"I understand about Cormac, he is a huge idiot" she began, her voice rising, "But Viktor?! Why?! Don't you want me to find out how to be happy?! You said it yourself, Harry. I can date whoever I want!"

Harry's response was immediate, he advanced towards her and his voice sounded full of frustration and anger as he also raised his tone.

"You only date idiots! That's the problem!"

Hermione frowned, gasping at Harry's response, and before she could think about her response, the words just tumbled out of her mouth.

"You only go out with hollow girls, perfect legs, who think they are the eighth wonder of the world! That they don't love you as you deserve!" Hermione exclaimed, and silence filled the room after her words.

Tears began to roll down Hermione's cheeks, and her lips trembled as she stared at him. The atmosphere was charged with tension. Harry also realized what she had said and how she had unintentionally revealed her feelings.

At that moment, Harry remembered the dream he had had, in which an older version of Hermione told him she loved him and called him "husband." He had kissed that Hermione in the dream, and it had been a better kiss than he had ever imagined. Now he felt he had to check if it was the same in reality. Hermione's words about being loved echoed in his mind.

Without taking his eyes off her, Harry took a step forward, getting closer. His hand rose slowly, and with trembling fingers he caressed her right cheek, where a newly formed tear was sliding.

"How do I deserve to be loved, Hermione?" he asked softly, his gaze intense on hers.

Harry's words made Hermione swallow hard, feeling a mix of fear and expectation in the air. Harry's closeness made her heart beat uncontrollably.

"For being just Harry..." Hermione murmured, her voice barely audible due to Harry's closeness.

"They don't deserve you," Harry stated in a soft, captivating voice, his thumb caressing her cheek tenderly.

Hermione could barely contain a shiver as she listened to him speak. Her mind seemed to become clouded by his presence and his words.

"Who deserves me, Harry?" she whispered, her voice shaking as she looked at him.

Harry exhaled softly, feeling the anxiety in the air.

"I don't even know if I deserve you myself..." Harry confessed, his voice breaking from the sincerity he was exposing. His fingers gently caressed Hermione's face, as if he was afraid she might fade if he touched her too hard. "But I know they don't love you like I do."

Hermione was speechless, completely taken aback by the intensity of Harry's confession.

There was something in his tone, in the way his eyes seemed to bare his soul before her, that took her breath away. But before she could respond, before she could even process what she had just heard, she felt Harry's lips on hers.

The kiss was soft at first, almost like a question, a search for confirmation. But as soon as Hermione responded, as soon as her lips began to move in sync with Harry's, everything changed. The gentle pressure transformed into something deeper, more urgent.

Hermione, feeling Harry's warmth, reciprocated with equal intensity, her hands finding their way to his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart under the auror jacket. It wasn't just a kiss; it was the culmination of years of repressed feelings finally finding an outlet.

The room seemed to fade around them as their lips moved in a slow, passionate dance. Harry's hands gently caressed Hermione's face. They both felt their feelings come to life in that kiss. The kiss that began softly, like a cautious exploration of unknown terrain, turned into a fiery passion that engulfed them.

Harry's lips were warm and soft against Hermione's, his initial movements slow, as if he were tasting the taste of a desire. His fingers caressed the curve of her neck, trailing up to her hair as he held her tenderly.

Hermione responded with equal intensity, her hands gripping Harry's jacket in a firm, desperate grip.

The room seemed to fade around them as they lost themselves in the kiss. Time stopped, it was just the two of them left, exploring new emotional territory they had long avoided.

The kiss continued, with passion and urgency, as if they were trying to make up for lost time. Their emotions flowed freely, without barriers or secrets.

Finally, slowly, Harry pulled away from Hermione's lips, their breath crashing between them. Their eyes were full of intensity and vulnerability.

"Hermione..." he murmured against her lips, his voice full of emotions he had kept for so long.

Harry kissed her again. However, just at the height of that moment, the office door was abruptly pushed open, and Sarah stood in the threshold. Her eyes widened as she saw Harry and Hermione in the middle of a kiss.

They both separated quickly, their faces reddened and their breaths short with surprise and embarrassment. Harry was left frustrated and stunned, not knowing what to say at the sudden interruption. Sarah looked at the scene in disbelief, and then her expression turned into a mix of anger and disappointment.

"I always knew it!" Sarah exclaimed with a tone that mixed anger and pain "How could I be so stupid and still trust you?"

Hermione felt overwhelmed by the emotions that washed over her. They had kissed, and now everything seemed to fall apart before the emergence of reality. She didn't know how to react to Sarah, knowing that she was right to feel hurt.

Harry tried to find the right words but felt caught in the middle of a storm of feelings. He couldn't deny what had just happened, and he didn't regret it, but he also didn't want to hurt Sarah any more than he already had.

"Sarah, I'm sorry," Harry murmured, his voice filled with confusion.

"Don't tell me you're sorry!" Sarah exclaimed, her voice rising with each word "You cheated on me! With her!"

Hermione felt a mixture of shame, guilt and anger. Although she had shared that incredible kiss with Harry, and wanted to repeat it, she had crossed a line by being with him, especially while he was in a relationship. She bit her lower lip, not knowing how to respond to Sarah's fury.

Hermione avoided eye contact and, without another word, turned around and walked angrily out of Harry's office, crying. Everything that happened seemed to echo in her mind, amplifying the magnitude of what had happened.

The feeling of guilt and remorse accompanied her as she walked away, leaving Harry and Sarah alone in an awkward silence filled with intense emotions.

As the door closed behind Hermione, the atmosphere in the office became denser. The silence was deafening, interrupted only by Sarah's heavy breathing and Harry's rapid heartbeat.

He knew he had made a terrible mistake and that the consequences would not be easy to handle.

"Sarah…" Harry began his voice filled with anguish, but was interrupted by a wave of Sarah's hand.

"No," she said, her voice shaky but firm. "There's nothing you can say to justify this. I saw it with my own eyes."

Harry was confused, he felt bad for being unfaithful to Sarah, but on the other hand, he felt relieved because he knew that this would be the end of his relationship with her, which he had wanted to do for a long time.

Harry simply stayed silent, while Sarah spoke and ended their love affair.

As she stormed out of the office leaving Harry alone, images of the kiss with Hermione flooded back into Harry's mind. A mix of emotions washed over him.

He wanted to kiss Hermione again, desperately. He needed to talk to her and clear things up. But he had crossed a line and their friendship was in danger.

He couldn't deny that the kiss had been incredible, that he had felt a connection that went beyond friendship. But now Hermione was upset with him, and she had every reason to be.

With a heavy sigh, Harry dropped into his chair and ran his hands through his messy hair. He would have to face the consequences of his actions and try to mend what he had broken. But at that moment, his mind was filled with confusion and doubt, not knowing how to repair the damage he had caused to his life and the life of the only woman he loved.

Dejected and overwhelmed by everything that had happened, Hermione reached her office, closed the door behind her, and sank into her chair. Tears ran down her cheeks as her mind spun non-stop. She had shared a kiss with Harry, her best friend, the man she had been secretly in love with for years.

Merlin! They had kissed and it had been incredible. The kiss had been everything she had imagined and more. The feeling of his lips against hers, the connection between them, was something she had longed for for so long. But while she was lost in those thoughts, she was also filled with guilt and anger.

She felt angry at herself for crossing that line, for allowing herself to be carried away by her feelings, and for doing so while Harry was still in a relationship. She knew she had made a mistake and would face the consequences.

She wished with all her might that she could be with Harry, that they could explore what they felt for each other, but the road to that would be complicated. Not only did she have to deal with her feelings and anger towards Harry, but also the fact that she had hurt Sarah, who no one could stand, but who also didn't deserve to be unfaithful.

Hermione ran a hand over her face, trying to wipe away her tears. She felt trapped in the middle of an emotional whirlwind, not knowing what to do or how to handle everything she was feeling. Her desire to be with Harry clashed with her sense of responsibility and the damage she had caused.

Sighing in frustration, Hermione realized she was at a crossroads. She had to face the consequences of his actions and make difficult decisions about what he would do next. It wouldn't be easy, but she couldn't ignore how she felt about Harry either.

With her mind and heart in conflict, Hermione sat in her chair, lost in thought as she tried to find a solution to this complicated emotional puzzle that had befallen her.

Sarah walked furiously through the halls of the Ministry of Magic, her blood boiling and her fists clenched. Her footsteps echoed on the marble floor, while her thoughts swirled frantically around the image she had witnessed just a few minutes ago: Harry, her Harry, kissing Hermione Granger in his office. It was as if the world had stopped in that instant, her entire being filled with a rage she had never experienced before.

Who did Hermione Granger think she was? She had always been Harry's best friend, his eternal confidant, but this... this was a total betrayal. And Harry, who hadn't had the courage to say it to her face, was now wallowing in his guilt instead of facing it.

Without thinking twice, Sarah decided to take control of the situation. If Harry wasn't going to be honest with her, then she would have to do something to let everyone know who he really was. And what better way to start than by turning to Ginny Weasley, the talented and committed journalist who had been writing for The Daily Prophet for a few years now. Sarah was sure that, with the right information, she could tell Ginny everything she had seen, in the hopes that the story would make the front page of the newspaper, or at least that Ginny would be on her side.

With that idea in mind, Sarah arrived at the Daily Prophet's editorial office, where Ginny worked. Despite the late hour, magic lamps still glowed above the tables, and the soft rustle of quills writing on parchment filled the air.

Ginny Weasley was sitting at her desk, looking over some notes with a frown. Sarah couldn't help but notice how her reddish hair glowed under the light, something that had always bothered her, as if Ginny was always illuminated by a light of her own.

"Ginny, I need to talk to you," Sarah said with a determined tone, her voice barely shaking with suppressed emotion.

Ginny looked up, surprised to see Sarah there at such an hour, but didn't say anything, just raised an eyebrow, indicating for her to continue.

"I found Harry..." Sarah paused for a moment, trying to remain calm "I found Harry kissing Hermione. In his office, no less!" The words came out almost like an accusation, and her eyes sparkled with indignation.

Ginny looked at her in silence for a few seconds, processing the information. She knew Sarah was looking for a reaction, maybe even an alliance. But what Sarah couldn't understand was that Ginny had been waiting for this moment for years. Not the moment Harry and Hermione betrayed her, no, but the moment they realized what everyone else already knew: that they were made for each other.

"And what do you want me to do about it?" Ginny asked, feigning a neutrality that was far from what she really felt.

Sarah, frustrated by the lack of indignation in Ginny's voice, gave a desperate look.

"You don't care what he's done?!" She exclaimed, almost begging her to be indignant. "He's cheating on me with his best friend!

Ginny leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table and intertwining her fingers. Her eyes locked onto Sarah's with an intensity that made her recoil slightly.

"And why are you telling me this, Sarah?" Ginny spoke with a calculated calm, as if she already knew the answer, but wanted to hear it from Sarah's lips.

"Because..." Sarah hesitated, suddenly feeling insecure under Ginny's penetrating gaze. "Because I thought you could... I don't know! Expose them!" she exclaimed, more like a desperate plea than a declaration.

Ginny smiled slightly, without a trace of mockery, but with an understanding that Sarah couldn't see.

"Sarah, let me ask you something." Ginny leaned back in her chair, her tone soft but firm. "Do you really want to be with someone who isn't really in love with you? Someone who, it seems, has found the person he really loves?"

Sarah froze, her mind taking a moment to process Ginny's words. Was she implying that it was her fault? That she should accept that Harry and Hermione had something she couldn't compete with? Fury began to bubble up inside her, replacing any feeling of insecurity she may have had.

"I can't believe it!" Sarah exclaimed, anger distorting her voice "I thought that, of all people, you would understand."

Ginny didn't flinch at Sarah's words, but her eyes hardened a little.

"I am friends with Harry and Hermione, Sarah, and always will be. If they've found something together, something real, I'm not going to interfere." Ginny looked at her with an expression that Sarah couldn't interpret, but that made her even more angry.

"This is ridiculous, Ginny!" Sarah continued, her voice rising in volume. "You are choosing them over what is right!"

Ginny sighed, clearly exasperated by the direction the conversation was taking.

"No, Sarah. What's ridiculous is holding on to someone who is clearly not committed to you. If you really think that forcing things or blaming others is going to improve the situation, you are wrong."

Ginny's words were like a dagger stabbing into Sarah, and each word made her more frustrated. Sarah had come looking for support, and instead, she had received a moral lesson she wasn't willing to accept.

"I don't need you to lecture me, Ginny," Sarah snapped, her face red with anger. "You know what, forget it! I don't need your help. Nor anyone's. If you want to take sides, do it. But don't expect me to stay silent.

Without giving Ginny time to respond, Sarah turned sharply and left the office. Her original plan to expose Harry and Hermione in the pages of The Daily Prophet was falling apart, but that didn't mean she was going to give up. If Ginny didn't want to be on her side, Sarah was determined to find another way to make Harry pay for what he had done.

She walked down the halls, her mind filled with vengeful thoughts, and the sound of the door closing behind her. But if Sarah knew anything, it was that she wasn't going to let this stay like this. Ginny might be on Harry and Hermione's side, but that didn't mean they all would be.

Once Sarah was gone, Ginny sighed and leaned back in her chair. She knew this situation would be complicated and delicate to handle. Although the reason behind the "betrayal" that Sarah was referring to had existed for more than ten years. It wasn't a betrayal. Harry and Hermione had been in love for a long time.

Although Sarah was convinced that Harry had cheated on her, Ginny knew there was more, she knew about her friends' feelings even if they didn't say anything.

Hours later, Ginny sat at her desk with a mischievous smile on her face. She knew things were simpler than Sarah made them out to be.

With a twinkle in her eye, Ginny began to write the article that she titled suggestively:

Ginny Weasley.

The wizarding world was in complete uproar after the publication of Ginny Weasley's article. The news had spread like wildfire, and everywhere there was talk of the possibility of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger finally admitting their feelings. Reactions were varied, from surprise and excitement to disbelief and skepticism.

Hermione entered Ginny's office with an annoyed expression on her face. Her eyes sparkled with indignation as she faced her journalist friend.

"Why did you write that?!" Hermione claimed, her tone of voice denoting her frustration.

Ginny looked at her with a mischievous smile and raised an eyebrow.

"Would you prefer that I cast you as the traitor with whom Harry was unfaithful to Sarah?" She asked in a mocking tone, amused by Hermione's reaction, who blushed brightly.

Minutes later, Harry burst into Ginny's office, his face marked with annoyance.

"Ginny, what the hell?!" he claimed, however, his expression softened when he noticed Hermione's presence in the room.

The redhead looked at her two friends, her gaze passing from one to the other, noticing the palpable tension in the air.

"Wait, did you both really kiss?" She asked with a mix of excitement and amusement in her voice, enjoying how Harry and Hermione avoided looking at each other and blushed at her indiscreet question.

The atmosphere in the office was charged with tension. Harry and Hermione shared an awkward silence, their gazes averting as they searched for words to respond. The past had been unearthed and exposed publicly, and that had opened another gap of vulnerability between them.

Finally, Harry broke the silence, speaking in a hoarse voice.

"Ginny, this is serious. You can't just post something like that without consulting us," he expressed his frustration, his gaze directed at his friend.

Hermione nodded, supporting Harry's words, although she couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions inside her.

Ginny, for her part, shrugged with a smile.

"It may have been a little cheeky of me, but I know what we're all waiting for," She said conspiratorially "And… guys, let's face it, all the signs are there."

The tension in the office was palpable in the air as Hermione began to cry. Harry looked at her worriedly, noticing how tears filled her eyes and ran down her cheeks. His instinct was to reach out and comfort her, but before he could say anything, Hermione avoided his gaze and rushed to wipe away her tears.

"Hermione..." Harry murmured, his voice full of concern, but before he could continue, she turned around and walked towards the exit of Ginny's office, slamming the door, leaving an echo of her frustration in the room.

Ginny watched the scene with a mix of surprise and curiosity, seeing how emotions had led Hermione to flee the situation.

"Well, that was dramatic," Ginny commented in a light tone, trying to break the tension that was left in the air.

Harry let out a frustrated sigh, running a hand through his hair as he looked towards the door Hermione had left through. He was confused by her reaction, wanting to understand how he could fix things.

Ginny stood up from her chair and walked over to Harry, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"She's dealing with a lot of emotions right now, Harry," She said with understanding in her voice. "This may not be the best time to talk."

Harry nodded resignedly, grateful for Ginny's support.

"I guess you're right," he admitted, feeling a lump in his throat from everything that had happened in such a short time.

The redhead smiled kindly at him and gave him a squeeze on the shoulder before returning to her desk.

"Give it time, Harry. Things will work out eventually," She assured him.

As Harry nodded in agreement, his mind was filled with confusing thoughts and feelings. Hermione's reaction left him with more questions than answers, but he was determined to give her the space she needed and, when the time was right, address what had happened between them.
