Chapter 18: Holy (SHIT!)

"Turn this fucking music off!" Shouted the Japanese Prime Minister Miyahira Norio to his assistant.

The young secretary quickly ran to turn off the TV. As it seemed that the old man had lost the remote. Meaning they would have to go turn the system off manually every time. And the Generals who had previously been in the Central Dogma, were too proud to even do it. Once the music stopped, the three generals turned to their leader. Who looked disappointed in them on a level that was never thought possible.

The TV had been displaying the current fight between what appeared to a band floating in the air. And the giant alien creature that had disabled the EVA. Though once the television was off, the Prime Minister turned to his generals.

"I can not begin to describe my growing headache with this situation." He told them.

"You're not alone in that." The younger of the three generals spoke, trying to sound relatable and to get on good terms with the Prime Minister.

His reward was stern and hostile looks from his fellow generals. Along with the glare of the Prime Minister whose expression was so angry. One could swear he was trying to burn a hole right between the younger man's eyes. That general did not talk for the rest of the meeting.

"Unlike your physical ailments, mine seemed to be caused by the likes of my subordinates who don't know how to do their job."

A silence hung over the room for a little bit.

"Now, somehow, the situation has gotten worse, but before we continue. I'd like to know, which one of you fucking idiots. Decided to put Gendo Ikari and the NERV organization in charge of this operation."

The two generals at the sides, the youngest and the oldest, looked to the one in the middle. The very same general who had technically and verbally given the order. Though, he wasn't going to simply be put up on the chopping block without a fight.

"It was on explicit orders from the U.N." He said.

The Prime Minister sighed.

"From what I recall, the Japanese government is in charge here. Especially when it seems that the U.N. can barely control the situation."

Miyahira then got up and walked to the window overlooking Tokyo-2. A shadow of the now submerged Tokyo-1, an event that still haunted the man's memory.

"It is my duty as leader of the country. To restore it to its former glory. That's not going to happen with three incompetent fools who can't do their jobs." He told them.

"You do realize that you have no real authority over our military positions." The oldest general responded.

The other two were surprised at the tenacity of the older man's claim. Though the Prime Minister didn't flinch.

"True, yet if I'm not mistaken. You still live in my country."

Silence, the generals didn't know where this was going.

"Meaning," He continued. "I control the amount of resources funded into your project off of our taxpayers. That would not only include your institutions, but your personal paychecks as well."

The leader then turned to the now stunned group. Who thought of this man as being in the U.N's back pocket.

"I've been experimenting with lowering worker's paycheck's down to zero as of recently. To improve discipline and encourage incompetent fools to leave the businesses they found themselves in. I don't know how effective it will be against you three, though it will be an interesting experiment nonetheless."

"You won't get away with it!" The older general exclaimed.

The Prime Minister then sat back down, unphased.

"Maybe, but perhaps you all should be more focused on telling me how you plan to respond to our current situation."

The middle general stamered for a bit, but then eventually responded.

"Well…well…right now. We have our current forces on standby, ready to strike once it seems these two forces stop fighting. It seems that the boy and his friends, along with the giant alien. Have strange abilities mainly based on music. We managed to avoid an attack on our bases that put our troops to sleep, and thankfully it seems their ability to broadcast and project their music.

Is limited to Tokyo-3, as well as whenever we're tuning in. Because of this their battle seems to be too intense for us to interfere in. Not without risking our own troop's lives."

"Didn't stop you before." The Prime Minister remarked.

Another bit of silence. As the three generals now all felt like school children caught in the act of cheating on the test.

"Tell me, why exactly haven't you interfered? Besides the whole risk factor, which comes naturally with the military."

"Because….because…."

The oldest general spared his colleague of his misery.

"We don't have full control of the forces. Nor do we know the full strength of these strange individuals. Ms. Secretary, if you please."

The older gentlemen motioned for the secretary to hand the Prime Minister a laptop. Displaying the current state of NERV HQ, with everyone currently passed out.

"It's not just there either, reports show that NERV Berlin. As well as their bases in America were compromised by this rambunctious creature. Because of this, we're holding back. Not that we'd be able to give the direct order to go in there. Unless…."

The General nodded towards the Prime Minister, gesturing for him to do something. Though the man simply ignored him.

The Prime Minister was taking this all in when the secretary spoke up.

"Also, they seemed to have been able to appear across the globe. At least, according to this."

She looked up from her phone and pulled something up on the laptop.

The secretary showed a video of the band rocking out in different classrooms. All being recorded by the different cameras around the rooms. The Generals were surprised by this, Miyahira was still disappointed in their reactions.

"Seems you underestimated their abilities." The Prime Minister said to his generals. "Limited to Tokyo-3 you said, putting us to sleep with our broadcasts?"

The Generals were confused and semi-horrified by the events.

"You know, it seems that they're not exactly as hostile as you assumed. Not if they appear to be entertaining the children. Don't get me wrong, I don't appreciate this music. Though it seems they mean no harm."

The Prime Minister seemed to be making a lot of assumptions.

"Then how do you explain the attack on our bases!?" The older general nearly shouted.

"I don't know." The Prime Minister leaned back in his chair. "Though, that brings me to my next question. Why don't you ask the boy? He seems pretty talkative in the clips you've shown me of him talking to NERV staff from before. Have you ever considered trying to make contact with him?"

Another awkward silence, the Prime Minister seemed tired of this situation. Thus, he took matters into his own hands.

"Let's try that now, shall we? Ms. Ichiko, would you please turn on the TV again?" He asked his secretary.

She did so, revealing the aftermath of the battle and subsequent concert for all the different classrooms. The camera was showing just the band, not them in a classroom. They even finished up the song right as the officials were tuning in to watch. Though right as the generals were considering suggesting that now was the time to move the troops in. A familiar face appeared on the screen.

The Reflection looked into the camera and started talking.

"Hey there! I'm guessing you're the prime minister? And you must be his more than attractive secretary?" It asked.

Everyone barely had enough time to react, when a building came down on the band in the distance. Causing the ground to shake. The Reflection turned back to see the destruction, then back to the camera.

"Alright, look, I don't have much time. What I'm here to tell you is simple. Send in the troops! This big guy is basically just a giant human, he doesn't even have much of an AT-Field anymore. How much time will that take you?"

The Prime Minister turned to his generals, who were still slack jawed at what was happening. Though once they noticed the giant white alien approaching the Reflection's position. The Prime Minister practically shouted at them.

"HOW LONG!?"

"Um...seven minutes!" The middle general said.

The Reflection sighed, then cracked its neck.

"Okay, fine. I can do seven minutes."

The boy-like entity then ran off and the camera feed seemed to cut out. When the giant brought it's foot down, causing another Earthquake. Another bit of silence took place, one that the Prime Minister didn't appreciate for once.

"You heard him! GO!"

"But…but…sir!" The older general stuttered.

"You're promoted back to having command of the situation! JUST FUCKING GO!"

The three took the command and ran out of the room. Miyahira then layed back in his chair again, his voice now a bit hoarse from shouting. His secretary then went over and got him some water. When she gave it to him, the old man smiled for the first time in a while.

"Thank you, Ichiko."

The lady simply smiled and nodded in response.

"What happened?" Fred asked.

"You idiots didn't notice the giant building being thrown at you." The Reflection responded.

The band groaned and apologized. While the Reflection was too busy with other things to notice.

"Fred, go tell the troops who will be flying in any second now to trust their senses. As well as to bring some transportation to get the civilians out of here." It ordered its minions.

"Got it! Can I do the DJ thing!?" He asked.

"Sure." The Reflection said, not really caring. "Just get into position."

Fred then swam off into the sea of darkness that the shadows were all floating in. While the rest simply floated there. Amongst a literal ocean of blackness and different faces. Waiting for their orders. They watched the surface as the Reflection did battle with Diligentia. Wishing they could join in, but they dared to not question Dominus's authority. Even when it was in a weakened state.

For it created this world, this dimension, this prison.

"Alright, hop in boys!" It gave the order, and the others swam to the surface.

Where they appeared on the rooftop.

Every unit was scrambling, from tanks to airplanes. The soldiers were running back into their combat positions. The jets and helicopters took off first. While on the way there, their radios began to get scrambled. Once their pilots fixed them, they heard a voice that wasn't their commander.

"Hey there chicks and dicks! This is DJ Fred Lethal coming at you with a message for you minions to tell your masters! Please send in the ground troops! We got plenty of innocent civilians on the hillside that need saving! Try avoiding them as best as possible when you shoot at Diligentia!

Because trust me…..you don't know how much pain you're in if you accidentally do."

Fred sounded as if he was right up against their ears when he said that. Causing a few of the pilots to jump a bit. Though the message was received, as none of them wanted to risk it. The jets and pilots flew in circles in their relative places for a while waiting for the acknowledgment that the nearby ground troops were coming along.

And for those who queued in on the same channel from before that Fred was broadcasting on. Found that the song Blind by Korn was playing. A nostalgia rush for some, confusion for most. Though, once it was confirmed by the hire ups that transportation was on their way. The pilots started moving in on Tokyo-3.

On their way there, Fred joined back in after the song ended.

"Alright, alright, alright! Seems you chicks and dicks are moving on the city of Tokyo-3. With proper ground support to help out with people passed out on the hillside. Now that that's taken care of, I'm here to let you all know to trust your reflexes. This giant alien that you're flying into whoop the ass of might be in a weakened state, but that doesn't mean he can't still kill you.

Because of that, our glorious master, Dominus. Has decided to take it upon itself to micromanage you guys. To give you all directions in the heat of the moment where you would've died in any other scenario. So, whenever you get the feeling to trust your gut and turn left or right or fire, etcetera.

DO IT!"

His shouting caused a lot of feedback. The pilots and people listening had to turn their volume down. Though even with the volume nearly off, they could still hear him. As if he was talking directly into their heads.

"Alright, get in there boys and girls! You're not gonna live forever, but you're going to survive this!"

Now it felt like he was shouting into their brains. Which they just had to ignore in order to focus on arriving in Tokyo-3, and blasting Diligentia away with their missiles. Then, when they did so and pulled away, they heard something in the distance. Something they never should've been able to hear with how loud their own engines were. Though, nothing really made sense anymore, so why bother asking stupid questions like this?

"Holy Wars! One, two, three, four!"

(Holy Wars…The Punishment Is Due - Megadeth)

(0:00 to 0:06)

The Reflection's hands seemed to move at a speed never thought possible. As Diligentia hit the ground in the distance.

(0:06 to 0:10)

More missiles and bullets were shot at the giant's position. Though right as the planes were getting close enough for Diligentia to jump and swat some of them down. That's when they suddenly pulled back, and instead the giant was met with more bullets and missiles from the helicopters.

(0:11 to 0:20)

As the planes and helicopters engaged Diligentia. The band played so fast, that Sakura couldn't even keep track of their arms and hands. She thought she had learned to play fast on the guitar. Yet it was at this moment, that she realized only someone who had been alive for thousands of years could pull this off. Could any mere mortal pull this off?

(0:21 to 0:44)

The white giant tried going for the helicopters this time. Though when he did that, the jets would swoop by and bombard him. Then when he tried to grow his arm out into a long tentacle and use it as a whip. The newly arrived tanks would shoot at him. So, he tried to throw another building at them. Which was destroyed completely by the hail of missiles from the helicopters destroying it in mid air.

The military's coordination was beyond good. Something was giving them an edge. Who else could it be? Diligentia ignored the human's endless missiles and shell bombardments, and instead made for the band. Which saw him approaching from a kilometer away. Making Wes smirk, and Dominus look disappointed in the ancestral again.

(0:45 to 1:06)

As the giant got close enough to hit the band. Wes started playing his own riff, which slowed down time. Only for the giant though. Giving the military ample opportunity to lay down fire power. Which due to the time moving slower, caused his healing factor to slow as well.

Eventually Diligentia had enough of this onslaught and managed to break free by ducking way ahead of time. Then rolling off to the side. Now causing some of the helicopters and jets to reorganize. And giving the giant an opening to attack the civilians. Which were now being loaded into nearby medical and transport trucks. Guarded by tanks which could do very little against the rampaging Ancestral, or so they thought.

(1:07 to 1:26)

Dominus cued in with a different riff. Amplifying the blasts of the tank's canons and bullets. Followed by Wes cuing in with the main tempo, to speed up time for the tanks to reload. Their back and forth drove Diligentia insane, as it seemed that no matter what he tried. It didn't seem to work. Along with the endless explosions and noise, it was if he had entered a never ending warzone.

He started flailing about, trying to hit something, anything that he could. Transforming its limbs into tentacles as he did before. When they hit the ground, it caused the Earth to shake. Making it difficult for the troops to save the unconscious people. Noticing this, the Reflection sent out an order to all other units to stop firing.

When Diligentia noticed this, he stopped flailing around, and focused on the source of the music again. Just in time to hear the lyrics.

(1:27 to 2:15)

Brother will brother, spilling blood across the land!

KILLING FOR RELIGION, something I don't understand.

When every band member joined Dominus in singing on 'Killing for religion'. Everyone from Sakura to the Prime Minister watching the battle on TV flinched.

Fools like me who cross the sea and come to foreign lands.

ASK THE SHEEP FOR THEIR BELIEFS, "Do you kill on God's command?"

Diligentia tried moving towards them, yet was seemingly flown forward by an invisible wave of power. Crashing right in front of the building they were playing on. Far away from the groups of people.

A country that's divided, surely will not stand!

MY PAST ERASED, NO MORE DISGRACED, No foolish naive stand!

The Ancestral struggled to stand at the epicenter of the noise. As it seemed to make everything else rumble around them. Except for the building itself somehow.

The end is near, it's crystal clear, part of the master plan!

DON'T LOOK NOW TO ISRAEL, it might be your homeland!

Dominus looked Diligentia in the eyes when he was finally able to stand up.

Holy wars!

(2:16 to 2:25)

Diligentia brought about to bring his fist down on them. Causing the band to stop playing, except for Wes. Who, alongside the electric guitar reverb. Went wild on what sounded like a Spanish acoustic guitar. And thus caused the entire world around them to change.

The next order that the pilots and soldiers got from the Reflection was 'Retreat and don't fully believe your surroundings.' As they did so, they witnessed the sun appear in the sky. Its rays now shone on a bright, undisturbed work of nature. As everything in the city had transformed into something else.

The buildings were now miniature mountains or hills. New plants appeared, alongside trees that grew in the place of the street lamps and signs. A full on forest seemed to appear in the land between the former buildings. The streets turned into rivers, and the air seemed to smell cleaner. Some soldiers who worked to get the citizens out of there. Were left speechless, and wanted to lie down in the grass and simply relax.

Diligentia as well was confused by this. As it seemed that his fist had passed over the building, now mountain, where the band was playing. Causing them to disappear, the giant looked around. And made the mistake of walking away, right over the giant holes in the ground, hidden by the trees. Where the buildings inside the geofront could come out from.

(2:26 to 2:41)

Upon my podium as the know-it-all scholar!

The sun became red, as a building popped out, and transformed into a black evangelion. One with red eyes, made completely of flesh, with the metal actually being large callused skin and a long tongue. Which sharpened into a spike that shot out and pierced right through Diligentia's chest.

Down in my seat of judgment, gavel's bang, uphold the law!

Another evangelion appeared, a completely mechanical machine. Chrome and full of wires, which came out of its arms and drilled into the giant's knees.

Up on my soapbox, a leader out to change the world!

The next evangelion was held up by puppet strings the size of small trees and as long as multiple trains. Its long, bronze, lanky arms with dangling fingers, wrapped its arms and wires around his neck and head. All three of the robots had pinned Diligentia in place.

Down in my pulpit as the holier-than-thou-could-be-messenger of God!

A shadow, taking the shape of another EVA that slithered up alongside Diligentia. And forced the giant to rip his limbs off, including its own head. Because when the shadow grew more teeth and leaned in to take a bite out of him. It reminded Diligentia of the Reflection's earlier form. And how desperately it didn't want to be bitten by it, even if it cost him his life.

(2:42 to 2:55)

The limp, headless and ravaged body of Diligentia fell to the ground. As the EVAs reverted back to the statues made of concrete that they had always been. The band then reappeared on top of the mountain. Along with Sakura who was laying on the ground. This was because all of them had hit the deck when Diligentia swung his fist.

It had barely hit them all, sending some of the rooftop flying. Even causing Dominus to have to recreate Killroy some new drums. As they had been destroyed in the attack. Now that they had reappeared, Dominus took charge in the solo. Slowly turning the forest and landscape into a concrete and steel replica.

It maintained the look of the former paradise, yet looked all too familiar to what they would cause an urban jungle. All while Diligentia slowly healed. Though the band wasn't going to make this easy for the giant.

(2:56 to 3:26)

Wage the war on organized crime!

First, Dominus showed in the streets, the hundreds of thousands of people who lived in Tokyo-3. Partaking in illegal substances and even sexual pleasure. That, while feeling amazing in the moment, only lead to more depression, crime and suicide that had caused this all to happen. And Dominus made Diligentia feel every one of these people's lives. Causing his body to mutate into different colors and forms.

This disturbed even the adults who were watching, though it got to young Sakura the most. Once Dominus took notice of this, it sent out a silent order.

'Look away and do your jobs.'

To which the soldiers realized they indeed needed to do so, and turned to the people they needed to save. However, the little girl did not look away. Which saddened the Reflection, as she was a reminder of what it was once like.

Sneak attacks, rappel down the rocks behind the lines!

It now thought that if she did not look away from the disturbing sights of excesses, then violence would certainly do the trick. Soon, the people in the city were brutally butchered by the JSSDF forces. As they put up a pitiful resistance in order to survive.

Again, the body of Diligentia felt all of this, while it still tried to heal itself. Causing it to now have blatant holes in it that would not fully be filled. Though that was none of the Reflection's concern. As it seemed that Sakura was still watching all of this, wide eyed and horrified.

Some people risk to employ me!

Some people live to destroy me!

Seeing her reaction to this, Dominus showed a giant version of himself chained up and bloody. When it sang about being employed, it showed its body surrounded by higher ups. In uniforms and suits looking down at it. Then, when it sang about being destroyed, massive white monsters with wings, no eyes and deformed mouths. Slithered up against it, blades out and ready to kill.

Either way they die, THEY DIE!

Then, everyone from the soldiers, the crazed civilians, giants in suits and monsters. All blew up into a shower of orange liquid.

(3:27 to 3:50)

As the liquid seemed to continue to shower down. Clouds began to form, raining more orange liquid and shooting yellow lightning. Alongside that, a strange ghostly human figure formed in the middle of the city. With its hollow black eyes and red pupils overlooking the military with a judgeful look.

The military took this as another sign to double their extraction of the civilians. They seemed to do it faster, as the men and women had the fear of God struck in them when looking into that thing's eyes. The troops were so busy with the extraction, that they didn't notice the lightning striking the body of Diligentia. Causing the skin to bubble as electricity flowed across it.

The giant figure turned and raised its hand over the giant's body. Turning all the liquid that was still on Diligentia into acid. The smell was unbearable for even those far away from it. Even with the helicopter's blades sent into help with the civilians blowing the wind back. Everyone could still smell what smelt like lava burning on top of a septic tank.

It was the most unbearable on Sakura's end, and while she tried to distract herself with Wes's guitar solo. When lightning struck the boy's guitar, she fainted to the floor. However, the Reflection caught her and leaned her up against a wall. Letting Wes cover its part until she was comfortable. Surprisingly, the little girl gained consciousness in time to see Dominus's concerned face.

(3:51 to 4:20)

Dominus then stood up, without even bothering to play its guitar. To emphasize these next lyrics to Sakura. Alongside keeping her distracted from the burnt, mutated body of Diligentia trying to stand up and run.

They killed my wife and my baby!

With hopes to enslave me!

Diligentia ran through the ghostly figure, which disappeared. The giant then suddenly stopped dead in its tracks. Dominus looked over its shoulder briefly to look at him.

First mistake!

Then it turned back to a dazed Sakura.

Last mistake.

Paid by the alliance!

To slay all the giants!

The Reflection said, looking up to the sky. Its hands slowly went back to its guitar.

Next mistake!

No more mistakes.

It sang, with tears in its eyes.

(4:21 to 4:36)

This time Dominus took to the guitar solo. The orange rain pouring on it, lighting illuminating the cloudy sky, the horribly misshapen monster shivering as its head slowly started to form again. It was an image that was permanently burned into Sakura's mind. The Reflection knew it would be, so it tried to act as cool as possible. To inspire the young girl as a symbol of confidence in the face of traumatizing events.

Though even that was ruined by the screaming of Diligentia.

"STOP! I KNOW YOUR HISTORY! STOP SHOWING ME THIS…..THIS….AAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Dominus smirked, as for the past minute or so. It had been forcing Diligentia to relive every painful moment of its life. To say the giant was broken, would be the underestimation of the century.

(4:37 to 4:55)

Diligentia eventually had had enough of this torture, and sprung into action. Turning almost his entire body into giant tentacles. Then he began flailing them at the band, many of the blows crushed entire buildings in a single strike. And the limbs moved so fast, the human eye could keep track of them. Yet none of them managed to land on Dominus's position.

The Reflection, just in the nick of time, had turned around to match Diligentia's speed of his attacks. With every riff it played, creating a shield that misdirected the strike. Though it couldn't keep this up for long. So, with the help of the band, they gave out orders to the troops.

'Every unit that isn't helping with the evacuation! Converge on striking the main target!'

(4:56 to 5:40)

As per the order, any and all helicopters, tanks, jets and troops not helping to move the unconscious civilians. Joined in with laying the smack down on Diligentia. And despite the weather and fast attacks from the giant. The men and women charged into battle without any hesitation.

It was almost as if every piece of fire power was used in that last fifty seconds. Not only was it the helicopter's and jet's missiles and guns. It was the tank's shells and the troop's motor pieces. Wes's guitar solo brought the lightning down on the ancestral. All creating a seemingly endless barrage of death.

Even when it looked like Diligentia might be gone. Dominus practically shouted something at the troops.

'More dakka! Keep firing until there's literally nothing left!'

And that they did, even when Dominus began to sing. Which somehow managed to ring louder than the explosions.

(5:41 to 6:33)

Fill the cracks in with judicial granite!

Because I don't say it!

Don't mean I ain't thinking it!

Next thing you know, they'll take my thoughts away!

I know what I said!

Now I must scream of the overdose!

And the lack of mercy killings!

Mercy killings!

Mercy killings!

KILLINGS, KILLINGS, KILLINGS!

Only Dominus could see it, but almost every troop was smiling. As none of them seemed to be dying. Everything seemed to be firing without any problems. And the music was so good. Some of them were even banging their heads to the beat.

Next thing you know, they'll take my thoughts away!

(End)

'Stop!'

Everybody suddenly stopped firing. The silence was incredibly ominous yet satisfying at the same time. Because there was a massive crater where Diligentia had been. Almost every civilian had been evacuated, and aside from a few damaged planes. No casualties had been taken. They….won.

Though, right as everybody was about to start cheering. Right as the band was about to sigh in relief. Dominus raised his hand to keep his fellow bandmates silent. It needed to focus. Something was wrong, and the Reflection could sense that it was coming from somewhere.

Then, it looked up to the sky, and groaned in disappointment.

Ichiko was about to turn off the television, when Prime Minister Norio stopped her.

"I know we lost the remote, but could you please find a way to rewind it?"

His secretary looked at him disappointedly. Then she took out her laptop and pulled up footage of the battle there instead.

"Skip to the end please, right before the song ended. And please turn the sound off, I don't need to hear that terrible music."

She did as he said.

"Stop!" He commanded.

Ichiko stopped the video and the Prime Minister took the laptop. Despite his technological inefficiencies, he could at least understand how to zoom in an image. When he did, he confirmed his suspicion and handed the laptop back to Ichiko.

The young woman was impressed by the older man's ability to spot such a small thing on screen. Though she was also horrified at the sight of a giant floating head making its escape.

The soldiers and pilots were cheering and just about to go back to base. When they were interrupted by a familiar voice.

"TIME TO DISAPPEAR! AHAHAHAHAHA!"

Diligentia's head shouted from the edge of the atmosphere. His booming voice could be heard across the world. Wes, Karen, and Kilroy all look up in terror and disappointment. As Diligentia grew giant chunks out of himself. White blobs the size of small moons.

"Welp, that's a skin bomb." Kilroy said.

"I guess it was fun while it lasted." Karen started to cry.

"Let's get out of here boss. Maybe we can still hold onto your past self." Wes told Dominus.

Yet the Reflection remained calm, looking up to the sky. As the rest of its bandmates asked what they were going to do. As the troops started screaming about the giant blobs screaming towards earth. As Diligentia laughed and mocked them all, shouting:

"YOU ALL ARE IMPERFECT! FOOLISH! DEAD SOULS! TIME TO DISAPPEAR! DISAPPEAR! DISAPPEAR! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Through all this chaos, Dominus stood there. Silent, and planning for the inevitable.

Oof, sorry this took an entire month to get done. I could make an excuse, but you guys and gals don't care. Though, I do feel like giving back to you all for the support. So, I've got a stupid idea.

It's been a while since I did a poll. Though with the amount of reviews and interactions I've gotten over the months. I think you all might join in. That or you can just leave your answer in the reviews.

For the final battle between the Reflection/Dominus and Diligentia. Do you want old school metal from the seventies? Or nineties alt-metal? Or possibly something completely different? Let me know, I love reading your reviews.

Also, sorry my guest reviewer who wanted shorter fight scenes. I really tried, but I love using long songs and trying to describe what everyone is doing. However, I am trying to cut down on that going forward.

By the way, guest reviewer, you're usually the first to leave a review. Are you…an admin on here? I don't know. Anyway, vote on either the 70s or 90s style for the final showdown. Or something crazy, let me have it.

Any criticism that isn't just hating things for the sake of hating it is great. I love you guys and gals. Let me know what you want to see going forward. See you next time.
