Prowlfan1011: Back again Everyone, and sorry for being so late, I've had some MAJOR setbacks, but now that we're here, Let's get busy, shall we?

Marisa: DA ZE! You've been gone for far too long, Prowl! What kept you?!

Prowlfan1011: Blame the government, COVID-19, and the pandemic. So why are you here, Marisa?

Marisa: You kidding? I've been waiting for this story to continue.

Prowlfan1011: So has Sonic245.

Marisa: Who now?

Prowlfan1011: Someone who's been pestering me lately about wanting to continue the story, heck all of my stories have been in limbo, but Sonic245 has been really persistent about this one.

Marisa: Oh jeez, and what does this person want?

Prowlfan1011: Their own character to be in this story, though it'll probably be non-canon to their story, the character has a good bio and a timeline. I won't go further into any details for the character since I'm focusing on my stories.

Marisa: Then I'll do it for ya. Prowlfan1011 does not own Touhou, or any of it's characters, if he did, I wouldn't exist, DA ZE!

Prowlfan1011: Enjoy!

"Wait a second, the basics on dating?! You're pulling my leg! You're older than we are, and for all we know, you've never been on a date in your entire life!" Marisa shouted, Yukari flinched, Reimu was shocked at this revelation.

Yukari recovered for a moment as she began to find words to speak.

"Forgive me, while I may not have been on an actual date, I have seen many couples dating, I've studied relationships for a long time, long enough to know what I know on the basics, I have seen how most of these couples get together and break up."

Reimu scoffed, figuring out the reason behind Yukari's loneliness and her apparently bad habit of mooching off of others for their food. "Gee, no wonder you can't get a date." She replied with sarcasm oozing in her voice, Yukari had an annoyed expression plastered on her face.

"Unless if you want to stay alive, Reimu, I suggest you drop that tone before you go any further." The gap youkai threatened, Reimu wisely said nothing more.

Marisa was silent during the short spat between mentor and student, well...mostly silent.

In Brad's room, the two friends were playing on a Nintendo Switch, mainly Brad's Switch hooked up to a flat screen TV set, the game they were playing was the popular Super Smash Brothers Ultimate game, Brad was playing as Megaman as Randal was playing Link in the outfit worn by the original Link in the NES Legend of Zelda game, the stage they were on resembled the beginning area of Cutman's stage, the music accompanying it was the remixed version of the theme from the original Megaman game.

The two friends were in the middle of the match as they had stocks, they had at least ten, Brad was utterly depleting Randal's lives pretty fast, but that didn't come without the fact that he was losing stock lives just as fast.

Link was about to win until Megaman had fired a Crash Bomb, and attached itself to the Hylian warrior, Randal tried getting the Crash Bomb off, but Brad was too fast as the Crash Bomb detonated, sending Link offscreen, it was Randal's last life, he had lost the match.

"Damn it, you win again." Randal said, Brad laughed, he only played one match, he knew Randal was only exaggerating.

"Well, if you hadn't messed up, you would have won!" The young man said, he had nothing to hide. "True, but you've beaten me on every Smash Bros. game when we were still in school." Randal stated, Brad shrugged, knowing that Randal was being a little dramatic.

"I guess. Hey, you think we need a break from all this insanity?" He asked, Randal Shrugged, he did smile. "Have our lives ever been normal at this point?" He asked back, Brad now looked concerned, he began to wonder. "If we went back to our old lives, we wouldn't come back here. and honestly? I don't know if I'll ever go back, I'm sort of interested in this world, now."

Randal looked miffed at this, it was true, if they went back, their lives would return to "normal", Brad had a thought and he looked at Randal. "What're your thoughts on Reimu?" He asked, Randal looked flustered at the question, he thought about Reimu's actions and the conversation he had with her a few hours earlier.

"She's alright, I mean...she did tell me that she and Remillia are friends, Reimu also warned me about Flandre." Randal said, Brad knew very little other than the young vampire being Remillia's little sister, he didn't know how dangerous Flandre really was.

"I see, by the way, I also tried out the Hadouken days ago, it took a lot out of me." Brad informed, before Randal could reply, a knock was heard coming from the door.

Brad got up as he walked to the door of the bedroom, he opened the door to find Marisa in a black knee length dress that revealed her shoulders, she didn't look happy and blushed. "Yukari forced me into this dress, I'm not a girly girl, I'm a magician, and aren't you supposed to be dressed for our date?" She asked, Brad realized that Marisa was right.

"Wait down stairs, I'll be ready in a few moments." Brad closed the door as he turned to Randal. "You heard that, right?" He asked, Randal nodded. "Sure did. By the way, what are you going to wear now that you're dating a girl your age?" He replied, Brad looked to the closet as he went in to grab a RDF uniform and a outfit that was a black t-shirt that had a pattern of a suit with a bow tie with a pair of blue jeans as he came back out.

"Which one should I wear? RDF, or the simple way?" The police officer asked, Randal eyed both, but knew the shirt with the suit printed on it was the outfit that brad would wear. "The simple way. I don't get it, dude, out of all of the girls back home, why'd you choose the magician?" He asked, Brad knew the reason why, he just didn't want to say it in front of Randal.

"That's my business, Randal. You'll have to figure it out on your own."

Randal said nothing, he figured that Brad was hiding something, he just didn't know how to get his best friend to open up when he was not being stubborn.

"Whatever, I'll find out one of these days, Brad. Now go take a shower, you need to make yourself look good." That was what Brad did, he was in the shower for two minutes, and came out wearing the outfit.

"How do I look?" The police officer asked, Randal made a hand wave motion that reflected his reaction. "Eh, decent enough to go out there." He said with near boredom, Brad knew that he didn't want to argue with his friend right now, he had to go.

Marisa waited at the door to the garage as Brad rushed in, panting tiredly. "Sorry for being a few minutes late, had to figure out what I had to wear." He told the magician, Marisa laughed quietly, Brad said nothing as he put on a RDF pilot helmet as Marisa put on her RDF pilot helmet.

Brad had activated an internal visor that covered his eyes as he looked back at Marisa. "Ready?" He asked, Marisa nodded, he turned to look at the road as he revved the engine, the Cyclone took off as the two were headed to the town for their date.

On the way to the town, Brad had the the thought of Flandre stuck in his mind, he couldn't look at Marisa or risk the chance of injury for either of them.

They had arrived at the edge of town as Brad hid the Cyclone in the bushes, knowing that it would be fine, at least for a while.

"So, where to, first? It's your home town, after all." Brad stated, Marisa nodded, they came to the Tengu that Brad met from yesterday.

"Hey, Marisa and the foreigner, what brings you here, today?" The Tengu asked, Marisa chuckled quietly.

"Well, Brad and I are on a date due to being asked out when we found out that there was a shapeshifter assuming Remillia's identity." The Magician explained, the Tengu was shocked, she didn't know about the event that happened earlier today.

"Oh wow! You gotta tell Aya about that, she's in the restaurant to your right." The Tengu pointed to the restaurant where Aya was in, and it just so happened that she just entered.

"Right, we'll join her shortly, besides, you're pretty resourceful, yourself." Brad said, the Tengu chuckled.

"Thanks! Comes with the job." The Tengu replied.

Brad looked to Marisa, he hoped that she had money, he figured that his money wasn't going to be useful in a town such as Gensokyo.

"Let's hope we've got enough to pay for the food."

Marisa nodded, she took out her wallet as she had a few hundred yen, she didn't have that much.

"Damn, I don't have that much yen, left."

Brad nodded, he figured that American money wasn't going to be enough, either, the Tengu nodded in understanding.

"I'll see if I can get the staff to give you two a free meal, just don't try anything fancy. From here on out, you have to pay for the food. Besides, Aya just got there, and she's just about to order food."

The Tengu led the two inside the restaurant as she showed them the table when Aya saw them.

"Brad, Marisa! Come on over, I was just about to look at the menu."

Brad nodded, he and Marisa walked over to Aya's table as they sat down, Brad was the first to speak.

"So what you been up to?"

Aya sighed, looking a little deflated as she spoke.

"Trying to find the scoop on what's been happening, so far, nothing, nada, zero, zilch."

Marisa felt bad for the Tengu as she wanted to say something.

"Well, we've got a story you'll want to hear."

Aya perked up at the mention of a story as Marisa looked to Brad.

"Wanna help tell the story?"

Brad nodded as he smiled.

"Gladly."

The two told Aya about the incident at the Scarlet Devil mansion as the Tengu wrote down everything she heard, and no detail was left out, Aya looked to the two.

"Well, this'll be news everyone'll want to hear, well, aside from those involved. I doubt anyone would believe you took down the shapshifter."

Brad nodded, but he wasn't a stranger to situations like this.

"Well, they'll have to, shapshifters can't copy everyone's appearance, and that has to do with their abilities."

Aya nodded, Brad had a good point.

"I see. You two want something to eat?"

Marisa nodded, she was in the mood to eat.

"Sure, I'd like the usual."

Brad wondered if the restaurant served American food.

"Can I get a medium rare beef steak?"

Aya nodded as she gave the waitress their orders.

Brad looked at Marisa as he saw her smile as she laughed with Aya because of a joke she came up with.

The waitress brought the food to them as all three ate their food, Aya paid the bill before she left.

Brad and Marisa looked left and right around the town as they looked for something to do, unfortunately, they couldn't find nothing else to do.

The two walked back to the Cyclone as they put their helmets on and drove back to the mansion and the Hakurei Shrine.

Marisa got off once they arrived at the mansion as Brad looked at her.

"Sorry we couldn't find anything else to do."

Marisa nodded as she smiled.

"It's okay, we still got to eat something. I'd say the date went well."

Brad nodded, if Marisa was happy, then he was happy, too.

Both entered through the door as Yukari greeted them, and this time, she didn't go through a gap to greet them.

"Welcome back, you two. So how'd it go?"

Brad chuckled as he answered Yukari's question.

"Well, we did go to that restaurant, but there wasn't anything else we could do, but it was still fun."

Yukari nodded, feeling satisfied."

"Good. By the way, I managed to buy some movies for you to watch."

Brad looked over to see that there were tons of movies that were on the table, some he had seen, and some he had yet to see. He looked at Yukari.

"Hope you went to my world dressed differently."

Yukari chortled as she smiled.

"Don't worry, I did, besides, I paid a hefty tip of your world's money so you don't have to get on my case about it."

Brad had to admit, Yukari was resourceful, she had to have paid a lot of money to get the movies.

"Let's just hope I don't, you keep up this good streak, and maybe I'll let you come by more often."

Yukari nodded, she had a sly grin on her face.

"No promises."

Yukari opened a gap as she disappeared, Brad and Marisa sat on the couch as they went through the movies, though some anime series got mixed into the stacks of movies, Brad thought it would be worth watching.

Brad went through one stack, he found a lot of mostly kids and adult movies, but there were some that were in between the two genres.

Brad picked out a movie that read Sonic the Hedgehog, and to Brad's surprise, the movie was live action, Marisa looked at the case for the movie, she had no idea who or what Sonic was.

"What's this movie about? And why's he called Sonic?"

Brad chuckled, he loved Sonic just as much as Megaman, he looked to Marisa.

"Oh, you'll love this, I know who the character is as he's very famous in my world."

Brad put the movie in the media player as he and Marisa waited for the menu to come up. Brad pressed play as the movie started.

The movie began as Marisa watched, she enjoyed watching the movie, she loved the moments with Sonic as she squealed, laughed and cried.

Brad also enjoyed the movie, laughing at the funny bits and he was surprised to see Jim Carrey play as Dr. Robotnik, while he didn't watch much of Jim Carrey's movies, but he did enjoy the actor's portrayal of the mad scientist.

When the movie was over, Marisa hugged Brad as she smiled at him.

"Thanks for showing me this movie, Brad. I really loved it."

Brad chuckled as he blushed.

"You're welcome, Marisa."

Marisa suddenly yawned as she got up.

"Well, I'm hittin' the sack, gotta rest up for tomorrow."

Brad nodded, he felt tired as well.

"Good night, Marisa, see you in the morning."

Marisa went to her room as she lay down on her bed, thinking as she smiled, it may have not gone the way she or Brad wanted, but she was happy.

Prowlfan1011: Well that was somethin', wasn't it, Marisa?

Marisa: I guess, I hate that Yukari dressed me up, but all in all, I thought it was good.

Prowlfan1011: Indeed, I wanted this to be longer, but I didn't know what else to put in to make the date longer. Life has been hard since 2020.

Marisa: Ohh, That sucks.

Prowlfan1011: It really does. Anyway, I'm sure I'll get back into the swing of things. I've got lots of things to do. so until then, leave a review and tell me what you think.

Marisa: DA ZE!
