"Forever With You"

Tori and Jade get married, and have their wedding reception among all the people that love them as they celebrate officially joining their lives together.

AN: Hello all. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. If you have Tubi, and you haven't gotten to see Liz Gillies new movie "Spread", I highly recommend it. Liz was awesome of course, and the movie was a good time. Also VIctoria has a movie coming out called "Depravity" that I'm really excited for. Hopefully we'll have a release date soon. In the meantime, enjoy this chapter, and I'll see you in September.

Today two families are together to celebrate the joining of two people who have a love for one another, that can be seen by anyone who has come to know them. Tori and Jade were married early this morning to a beautiful sunrise, and everyone they love there to support them. After months of planning, picking out flowers, and finding the right dress, the wedding was finally here, and everything was perfect. As beautiful as all the flowers were, and no matter how confident Jade was feeling in her dress, the most perfect thing about this day for her was looking into the eyes of the one she loves most. Tori's big, bright smile had her flustered, but still she managed to get through her vows. When they were told, "Ladies, you may kiss your bride.", both were lost in a place where it was just the two of them, and now they got to feel this way for the rest of their lives.

Now they are sitting at the front of the reception hall, among all of their loved ones, holding hands, while Cat and Trina are giving their Maid of Honor speeches. Cat stands in the middle of the room, tapping her wine glass to get everyone's attention.

"Hey everyone! For those who don't know I'm Cat, and I am one of the Maid of Honors…Maids of Honor…Whichever one is right…" Cat says, with a nervous laugh, as Trina pats her shoulder for reassurance. " Uhm well, we're all here to celebrate Jade and Tori on their wedding day, and be here for them as they start their lives together."

Cat was barely halfway into her speech, when she began to tear up. Jade and Tori squeezed each other's hands as Tori caught her bride wiping away a few tears herself. They both looked at their friend with an encouraging look, as she continued.

"Tori, Jade, you both deserve the best, and…and I hope the two of you have everything you've ever wanted. You've both been the best friends to me, and the loves of each other's lives, I think even before you both realized it. May you have many more happy years ahead of you."

Cat had to stop and collect herself as Trina took the mic next.

"Hi, I'm Trina, Tori's big sister, and the other Maid of Honor. Tori, Jade, we're all so happy for you. Honestly, it's crazy we're all here today, since when you first met, things weren't always friendly between you two. Somehow, the more you got to know each other, the better friends you became, and…now here we are." Trina laughed. "Jade, I want to say that I'm so glad that you and Tori found each other. I've never seen my sister so happy, and I know that's because of you. Take care of our girl, will you?"

Jade smiles, and nods to her sister-in-law. Trina lifts her glass to finish her speech.

"Tori, I love you, and I wish you and Jade every happiness in the world. My best wishes go to the both of you. To Tori and Jade!" Trina called out.

The rest of the wedding joined her repeating, "To Tori and Jade!" They all clapped, and Tori and Jade got up to hug Cat and Trina. Cat was still wiping away happy tears, and even Jade was joining in with the emotional hugs. Somehow being with Tori has softened her to human contact; something that has even surprised Jade. While Trina was still hugging Tori, Cat is talking with Jade.

"I hope that speech was okay, even though I cried through most of it."

"You did great." Jade told her.

"I meant every word of it. I love you guys, and I wish you the best." Cat said.

"I know, I love you too." Jade told Cat, pulling her into a hug.

Jade then turned to Trina, who was a little hesitant at first, but went in for a hug which was returned by her new sister-in-law.

"Welcome to the family." Trina told her.

Jade thanked her, while pulling Tori close to her side, kissing her forehead. The newlyweds were met with more congratulations from the rest of their friends, their parents, and members of their extended family they haven't seen in a long time. Tori and Jade were talking with Tori's Aunt Sonja, when Jade looked across the room to see her father, with a glass of champagne, looking in her direction. Tori could feel the deep breath being held in Jade's chest, and she leaned in close to whisper to her.

"Do you want me to go with you?"

Jade shakes her head. "No, I'm okay." She kisses Tori's hand while making her way across the room to where her father was standing. As they got closer, Jade's father, Hank cracked a smile, probably the biggest smile Jade has seen from her father. She clasped her hands together, twirling her thumbs, wondering which one of them would be the first to start talking.

"You look beautiful." Hank told her.

"Thank you." Jade replied.

Jade's eyes awkwardly darted around the room, trying to find anyway to keep the conversation going.

"Are you enjoying yourself so far?" Jade asked.

"Yeah, I've been enjoying the hors d'oeuvres, in particular the stuffed mushrooms."

"Oh yeah, Tori's mother made those."

"Oh well, you'll have to thank her for me." Hank said.

"I will." Jade nodded.

Jade stared down at the ground for a moment before looking back up at her dad. So far things were going well, and she wanted to keep it up. She took a breath before speaking again.

"Thank you again for coming, Dad."

"Of course." Hank nodded. "It's good to see you happy."

"Thank you, I am." Jade said, breaking out in a smile.

Whether she wanted to admit it or not, Jade did get a lot of her traits from her father. Both of them were never good at small talk, and had trouble expressing themselves, especially when it came to serious topics. When Jade first came out to her father, he didn't know how to feel about it. He didn't exactly reject her for her sexuality, but whether he was misinformed or just bad at listening, Hank thought that maybe this whole dating a girl thing was a phase. He was often at odds with his daughter over how she dressed or her interests he couldn't begin to understand. The man was often inclined to believe that Jade would do anything to appear different, and at first he thought this relationship was another case of that. The minute Hank met Tori, and saw how much his daughter cared for her, he couldn't help but see how real their relationship was. Jade was surprised again when her father laid a hand on her shoulder, and leaned in to kiss her cheek.

"Congratulations Honey." Hank said.

"Thanks Dad."

Hank went to join his wife at their table, just as Tori came up behind Jade, resting her chin on her wife's shoulder.

"How'd it go?"

"Great."

Jade turned toward Tori, pulling her in for a kiss. She takes a deep breath, resting her forehead on Tori's while hugging her tight.

"I love you so much." Jade said.

"I love you too, Baby." Tori said, kissing her cheek.

Tori looks back at Jade unable to help smiling and giggling as she would likely be doing for the rest of the day. Tori pulled her into another hug, looking out at their wedding with the tall floral centerpieces, the fairy lights strung up on the canopies over every table, and everyone mingling with drinks in hand.

"You think it'd be crazy for us to run off by ourselves during our own wedding?" Tori whispered.

Jade took her hand, looking to the other end of the hall.

"Come with me."

The two of them made their way through the glass doors, and onto the back porch of the venue, where a bench looked out over a lake across the way. They sat, still holding hands while Tori rested her head on Jade's shoulder. Jade laid a kiss atop of her wife's head, taking in the smell of her hair, and enjoyed the quiet with her. A few bugs danced over the water, and among the honeysuckle bushes, while Jade looked down at their joined hands, grazing Tori's fingers. Jade smiled at her thinking about how grateful she is to be loved by this incredible woman. She never thought that someone who once had her feeling jealous when she was rewarded with a part or had her feeling distant because she couldn't sort out her feelings, would end up being the one person Jade couldn't live without. Tori has always been there to stand up for her, has shown her kindness and generosity, and has made her feel like she is worthy of loving, even when she didn't think she could be. To spend her life with someone as kind and as sweet as Tori is better than any part in a play. Jade draped her arm over Tori's shoulder, tracing circles on her arm, while Tori whispered to her.

"I think this is my favorite part of today so far."

"Yeah, me too." Jade said, kissing her again.

Tori continued to snuggle into Jade as Andre and Beck found them outside.

"Hey, there you are." Andre said. "We were wondering where you disappeared to. I think everyone is ready for cake."

"Okay, we're coming." Tori laughed.

Everyone made their way inside while Tori and Jade walked towards the cake. Many family members took pictures of both brides cutting into the chocolate cake with white icing, and each fed the other one a piece. There wasn't too much of a mess made, but that didn't stop them from dabbing a bit of icing on each other's nose. The rest of the cake was served out, and was a big hit, with many guests coming over to compliment Jade and Tori on their cake choice, and tell them how beautiful everything looked.

After everyone had desert it was decided that Tori would toss the bouquet and Jade would toss the garter. All of the single women gathered on the floor, and Tori tossed back the bouquet that was caught by Trina. Next it was time for Jade to toss the garter as she slipped it off of Tori, and tossed it behind her, and it was caught by Sinjin. It wasn't the results that Trina was hoping for, but for her sister she would play along, and let Sinjin give her the garter. Sinjin was a perfect gentleman, and they took their picture before they moved on to some more dancing.

All of the guests had fun dancing to the songs they've heard at many other weddings, "The Electric Slide", "The Cha Cha Slide", and they broke out a game of limbo. It was still fun, and they managed the game even in formal wear. This has been the most fun this group of friends has had together since graduating highschool, and starting their adult lives. It was a break from filling out college applications, and deciding between a dorm room or trying to find an apartment. While all of this was still ahead of Tori and Jade within their married life, this reception will be one of the happiest moments they look back on.

After many drinks and toasts, all the dancing, the cake, and the congratulations to the newlywed couple, the evening was winding down, and the reception was over. Tori's parents helped the ladies load their gifts into the car, and they made their way off to their hotel room. Tori and Jade would leave for their honeymoon in the morning, but for tonight they would make due with the room they reserved near the reception. They were able to watch seagulls fly over the water as Jade drove down the road, holding onto Tori's hand. Jade was determined to make good on her promise to take care of Tori, hold her tight and never let her go. She wanted Tori to always know how much she loved her, how much she's made her life better, and that she will always be there for her in the same way Tori has been there for her. This would be the first night they laid together as a married couple, and they couldn't be more happy to have this be their reality forever.
