RAW is WAR: 24/5/1999

RAW is WAR was live at the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The show was dedicated to the memory of Owen Hart. The upcoming match was the Bladewolf and Kane vs The Brood for the WWF Tag Team Championship.

In the arena, the Brood's music plays and the strobing red light appears. On the entrance ramp, a ring of fire forms and the Brood rises from it. They make their approach and Edge and Christian slither into the ring while Gangrel stands on the steel steps. He empties the cup of blood and spews it back out before joining his brethren.

The lights then went out, followed by Kane's theme playing.

OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!

Fire explodes on the stage as Kane's theme is replaced by The Devil's Wolf, the lights dimming to the sinister blood red and dark blue as the Bladewolf and Kane walk out together and start making their way towards the ring. Kane had his Tag Team title over his shoulder, while Bladewolf had his around his waist.

"The following Tag-team contest is scheduled for one-fall and is for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship! Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 636 lbs, they are the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, the Brothers of Destruction... KANE & THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced before leaving the ring.

Kane and the Bladewolf reach the end of the ramp and climb onto the ring apron together. They step over the top rope and Bladewolf removes his coat and metallic mask, revealing the wolf one underneath, while Kane walks to the center of the ring and begins raising his arms. He throws them down, causing fire to spew from the turnbuckles as the lights return to normal.

They hand their Tag Team Championship belts to referee Tim White and he holds them up, letting the fans know that's what this match is about. Then he hands them to a stagehand at ringside. He signals for the match to start.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Kane gets out onto the ring apron as Bladewolf starts it off with Edge. However, the second Bladewolf took his eyes off the Brood, Edge slid in the ring and attempted to clobber him from behind but the Bladewolf no-selled the attacks before he turns and decks Edge with a right hand.

Bladewolf pulls Edge to his feet and lands a couple of rights, forcing Edge onto the ropes which he Irish whips him off then goes for a big boot but Edge ducks, rebounds off the ropes and comes back with a leaping forearm that made Bladewolf stumble back two steps before he glared at Edge and gave him a big boot to the face for his troubles.

Bladewolf pulls Edge to his feet and sends him into the corner before running and hitting a turnbuckle clothesline. Bladewolf keeps Edge pinned in the corner, then slaps his hand around Edge's throat to start choking him.

"Hey! Hey! Bladewolf, let him go!" Referee Tim White shouted as he tried to have Bladewolf release Edge. Seeing Bladewolf wasn't releasing, Tim White began to count. "One! Two! Three! Four-!"

Bladewolf released Edge and whirled on the referee who quickly backed up away from the masked man who stared at him for a moment befor ehe turns to grab Edge and then pull him into a close-quarters clothesline before covering him.

"One!"

"Two-!"

Edge kicks out at two.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and flips his hair back before he pulls Edge to his feet, strikes him with an uppercut that makes the Brood member stumble. Bladewolf Irish whips Edge off the ropes, goes for a big boot but Edge ducks it, comes off the ropes and lands a spinning heel kick, sending the Bladewolf down onto his back.

Edge makes the tag to Gangrel, pulls Bladewolf to his feet and the two Irish whip him off the ropes. Bladewolf comes running back only to be lifted up and sent falling down onto his back. Gangrel quickly hooks the legs.

"One!"

"Two-!"

Bladewolf kicks out while throwing Gangrel off him.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and turns to Gangrel who lands a right hand, then another, then goes for another but Bladewolf blocks it and decks the Brood leader with a hard right hand.

Bladewolf then walks over and tags in Kane, who comes in and grabs Gangrel. He sends the Brood leader into the corner where he starts to choke him until the referee reached a count of five before releasing Gangrel, not wanting to be disqualified even if it means he and his brother will still keep the titles. They wanted to hurt the Brood and they wanted to win. Pulling him out of the turnbuckle corner he Irish whips Gangrel into the ropes and nails a boot to the face.

Next, Kane drops a big leg over Gangrel's chest and goes for the cover.

"One!"

"Two!"

Gangrel kicks out again at two.

Kane drags Gangrel over by the hair and tags Bladewolf back in. The younger brother enters the ring and delivers a big kick to Gangrel's midsection as Kane gets out onto the ring apron again. Bladewolf brings down his forearm on Gangrel repeatedly before Irish whipping him across the ring, and then launches him up into the air via back body drop, with Gangrel hitting the mat hard. Bladewolf turns and watches Gangrel try to crawl away but wraps his arms around the man's waist, lifts him up and sends him across the ring with a German Suplex.

Getting to his feet, Bladewolf walks over to Gangrel who is dazed and woozy from the German Suplex, then grips his hair before he drives his fist repeatedly into the Brood leader's forehead and then whirls on the referee when he tried to tell him off. Glaring at the referee a few seconds, he turns and walks over to Gangrel, grabbing him from behind and then sends him across the ring with another German Suplex. However, he had sent Gangrel close to his partners, which allows Christian to make the tag.

Christian runs in and ruthlessly attacks the Bladewolf with a fury of rights before he was shoved back into the ropes, which he rebounds off and comes running straight into a hard clothesline from the Bladewolf, who then hooked the leg.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Thr-!"

But Christian kicks out at two.

Bladewolf gets to his feet, flipping his hair back, before grabbing Christian and starts pulling him to his feet when Christian thumbs the eyeholes of Bladewolf's mask, temporarily blinding him which Christian uses to his advantage as he kicks at the back of Bladewolf's legs until he drops down onto his back. Christian repeatedly stomps on Bladewolf, then drives his knee into the Demon Wolf's side repeatedly, before unloading with a fury of right hands to the masked face of the Bladewolf, then hooks the legs.

"One!"

"Two-!"

Bladewolf kicks out at two... AND SITS RIGHT UP IN CHRISTIAN'S FACE!

Christian's eyes were as wide as dinner plates as he looked into the dark brown eyes of the Demon Wolf that was glaring into his very soul. Before Christian can do anything, Bladewolf latches his hand around Christian's throat hard and tightly, rising to his feet afterwards. He grips Christian with both hands and lifts him into the air, choking him as the referee Tim White tells him off.

"Let him down, Bladewolf!" White called. "One! Two! Three!"

Bladewolf drops Christian, before yanking him up by the arm and brings him over to his corner where he tags Kane back in. The Big Red Machine steps over the rope and connects an uppercut to the jaw as Bladewolf steps on the apron.

Kane Irish whips Christian into the opposing turnbuckle, follows him in for a clothesline and chains it with a sidewalk slam. He raises his gloved hand preparing for the Chokeslam from Hell when Edge gets on the apron to distract Kane, the masked demon punches him off then returns his attention to Christian. The blonde-haired man runs into Kane's glove and the 326 pounder lifts him up and... PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Kane hooks the leg. "One!"

"Two-!"

Gangrel makes the save at two, and Bladewolf charges in the ring, clotheslining Gangrel over the top rope and down to the floor. Kane grabs Christian, scoops him upside down and into position... BEFORE HITTING THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! HE GOES FOR THE COVER! ONE! TWO! THREE! THE BLADEWOLF AND KANE RETAIN THE TAG TEAM TITLES!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Kane's theme plays as he gets to his feet. "Here are your winners and STILL the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions... KANE & THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced.

After Tim White gives them their titles, Bladewolf looks at the Titantron which displays a tribute image of Owen Hart and gets to a knee to do the Undertaker salute, raising his title in memory of Owen Hart. Kane stands behind him, raises his arms before throwing them down which makes fire explode from the turnbuckles. Bladewolf gets to his feet and drapes his title over his shoulder before leaving the ring with Kane, the two making their way to the back.
