Off with his head.

Chapter 1

Earlier…

Sukuna saw it.

He felt it too.

Rook was without a doubt changing before his eyes in something that he himself, has never seen before. All that work and effort is about to come to pass and yet, why did he feel rather nervous about it? 'What the hell is with me?' he thought to himself.

Normally this would have been amusing, entertaining for himself as he watched others suffer. But, at this point, it was almost as if he was witnessing the birth of his son all over again. Except this is Rook, he has no blood relation to him… but is a nephew by marriage.

Still, the time he has spent on Rook wasn't a waste. He knew this boy was something to be watched over and observed, for he never acted like the others in the domain, even those of heavenly restricted. Students who have come before him with such talents never quite pushed themselves to this limit, they would spar and grow stronger, but, no one has ever approached Sukuna himself on training. Either they were too scared or concerned that he wouldn't take them seriously… or perhaps they feared he would take them TOO seriously. Either way, no one but Rook dared to approach him.

No one but Rook continued to come back and ask for more. No matter how he was defeated, despite the fact he held back enough to not kill or seriously harm the child, the fact remains that the boy never backed down from him.

He has respect for this child, for it was always shown to him. Despite his Gojo father… he truly embodies a Tooru to a T.

Focused now, he watched this odd form of flesh alter and move, hand prints were pushing against it and he even saw Rook trying to breech the flesh. His face was normal so far, so all in all, this is hopeful.

Sukuna continued to stare on, as the movement grew weaker. "Don't give up on me boy!" he ordered. "FIGHT!"

It went still.

His heart sank a little, thinking Rook may have collapsed or passed out. He would cut into the flesh but, he isn't certain as to how deep it is. He sighed with sadness… until a hand tore through!

Sukuna froze and stared, the hand was clawed… like his.

"What's happening to you boy?" he whispered.

The hand moved about before it began to feel the outer flesh, it retracted until a single claw poked through and slit down the side. Rook was butchering his way out of the fleshy prison!

"HAHAHA! THAT'S IT! KEEP GOING!" he cheered.

Rook was able to cut around the flesh prison, and remarkably fast, he retracted his arm and then the flesh ruptured. Rook stood up and out of it, roaring with determination before… his eyes rolled back and he collapsed then and there.

Sukuna on the other hand was trying to make sense of what he saw.

"Boy… are you being serious with me?" he said in utter disbelief.

Rook collapsed before him. Sukuna took his robe off to cover him up but shook his head to it all.

The boy… looks like him.

Four arms, four eyes and he even sees a mouth on the child's stomach. "Is this some sort of trend or something…" he muttered to himself.

Rook on the other hand was asleep rather blissfully. He was comfortable and even had a smile on his face.

With a sigh, Sukuna picked him up off the ground. He knew Rook needed someplace better to rest, and yet he was impressed. He was transfigured no more than four hours ago and has already broken through it.

He was wondering back to Yua's place when he was stopped.

Saitama saw him carrying his brother.

"Oniichan?" he whispered.

"He's been through something rough, and I suggest he gets some rest." Sukuna said to Saitama.

The boy didn't refuse, in fact, he took Rook from him without hesitation and made his way to the nursery. As Saitama entered, Sukuna found it strange that the other siblings came rushing. "Strange children…" he muttered.

He circled back to Yua's place, just as he heard the news of Lady Tiamat.

They have permission to kill Kenjaku.

"Oh, this is good, since we need to destroy him mind, body and soul!" Sukuna decreed.

"What?" Yua demanded.

"Ryomen, do you know something?" Lady Tiamat asked.

He merely smiled at the notion. "No, I just think someone like him needs to be destroyed the same way you would me. Kenjaku has more tricks than Six Eyes has jokes, and it would be best to destroy everything at once… since I know what happened to Rook was merely a distraction."

He paused a moment before he turned to Yua. "Where's Shin?" he asked bluntly.

"Right here!" Shin was hiding in the back with some of the other Toorus. "What's wrong Oji?"

"Nothing, but I am pleased to see you are here now, were you out of the domain before?"

He paused but nodded, he explained the moment Rook vanished he got a text from Ryoto telling him to go home immediately. So he did. "Ryoto wouldn't say anything unless it wasn't important, so I went home the moment I got his message. Why?"

Sukuna snorted a forced laugh. "Rook was being used as a distraction. No doubt Kenjaku had eyes on you, you felt like you were being followed, correct?"

Shin nodded to this. "Then my boy just saved your mother some heart ache. Kenjaku must have tried to use Rook as a distraction… so Yua would be focused on him and not you."

He froze to his and yet, Shin sighed. "I knew it… he's eying me as his next shell isn't he?"

"What?!" Yua demanded. "He can't!"

"Indeed, perhaps he forgot about his lesson the last time." Sukuna said offhandedly. "But the fact remains this has been his long game the whole time, to obtain a body that you wouldn't fight against."

"I knew that son of a bitch was after him!" Yua's grandfather protested. He sneered and appeared pissed off now. "But we can kill him now huh?" he asked with a grin. "I want in on this!"

"Everyone does." Sukuna said. "However, he thinks he has an ace up his sleeve now, he has taken a potion known as the blind eye, correct?" he asked lady Tiamat.

"Yes, not even I can track him at the moment, he is out of my and earth bound dragons as well as sorcerers senses, unless you encounter him randomly on the street."

"All the better." Sukuna felt his smile growing, spreading across his face. "So, as such, we need to make preparations…" He peered at Shin and then pointed to him. "And you… are going to be bait."
