RAW is WAR: 26/7/1999

RAW is WAR was live at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Fireworks scream through arena and explode at the entrance ramp.

Jim Ross greeted, "A methodical, controversial end of the Vince McMahon Era concluded aggressively at Fully Loaded and a new era begins tonight on Raw is War. Hello again, everybody I'm Jim Ross along with Jerry the "King" Lawler at ringside in the sold out Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio!"

The camera suddenly cuts to the locker room area where Undertaker physically assaults X-Pac. The Phenom hasn't forgotten what happened last night and fully intends on making X-Pac suffer.

Road Dogg tries to help his friend but Undertaker levels him with a right hand and throws the can-shaped energy drink cooler at him, spilling ice all over the floor. He chokeslams Road Dogg through a nearby table and returns his attention to X-Pac. The beat down eventually comes to the ring where Undertaker rolls his defenseless victim into the squared circle and knocks him down with a punch to the jaw followed by a choke.

Road Dogg bolts to the ring despite what happened backstage and trades blows with the Phenom. A series of jabs have the Deadman off his feet. Flames explode on the entrance ramp and Kane walks to the ring and steps over the rope and grabs Road Dogg by the hair, turns him around and chokeslams the man.

Undertaker sits up and looks at his brother standing there, he scoops X-Pac up on his shoulders as Kane lifts Road Dogg up, his hand around the man's throat. He chokeslams Road Dogg at the same time as Undertaker Tombstones X-Pac. Surveying what looks like a bad car wreck, the brothers lock eyes.

Jerry Lawler said, "Don't tell me..." Kane slowly raises his arms then throws back down, spewing fire from the ring posts and Burned plays bring the red light down.

Jim Ross confirmed, "Oh, my god. Kane has rejoined his brother the Undertaker! Nothing can stop these demonic brothers when they are together!"

Kane follows his brother out of ring side by side as they make their way toward backstage.

First match of the night was a Title Defense Match where the Acolytes defend their newly won WWF Tag-Team Championship against Edge and Christian.

Hardcore Holly's music hit and Tony Chimel said, "At this time please welcome the special guest ring announcer, Hardcore Holly!" The self-proclaimed big shot walks up the steel steps and enters the ring.

He shoves Tony Chimel down and pushes him out of the ring after grabbing the microphone.

Holly stated, "I'm the special guest ring announcer for this match tonight. You know why? Because I can!" Edge's music played, "This match tonight is for the WWF Tag-Team Championship. I wanna introduce first. Weighing in at a total combined weight of, let's say about a buck and a quarter, and that's with Christian's legs wrapped in bandages to make him look bigger, glasses and hearts, Edge and Christian!" The blonde duo enter through the crowd and enter the ring.

Christian sits in the corner while Edge paces. They hear the Acolytes' music play and removes their entrance attire.

Holly resumed, "And their opponents. Weighing in at a whopping 2,000 pounds, they pump through children for the ab roller because they need a lot of work on their abs, the Acolytes!" The new WWF Tag-Team Champions step foot inside to glare at Hardcore Holly.

They give their championship belts to referee Teddy Long as the bell sounds to get the match started.

Faarooq and Christian start things off with Faarooq landing a kick followed by powerful right hands, stopping briefly to exchange words with Teddy Long. The Acolyte Irish whips Christian into the ropes and the blonde-haired man slides underneath Faarooq and retaliates before Faarooq reverses the Irish whip and Christian lands the spinning heel kick. He tags Edge. They send Faarooq to the ropes and do the double hip toss then Bradshaw gets the tag.

The dark-haired Acolyte steps over the top rope and locks horns with Edge, pushing the man to the corner and throwing knees to the gut and forearms to the back. He places Edge in the side headlock that the Canadian breaks out of by pushing Bradshaw into the ropes and the big man plows through Edge with the shoulder tackle. Edge gets out of another side headlock and sends Bradshaw to the ropes again, dropping to his stomach for the Acolyte to leap over him and Bradshaw blocks the hip toss and misses the clothesline where Edge turns it into a roll-up pin that Bradshaw kicks out at 2. Throwing punches to the opponent's skull, Edge backs the Acolyte up and Bradshaw reverses the Irish whip to the opposing turnbuckle. He follows his opponent in but Edge stops him with a forearm to the head, he runs into the ropes, avoids the clothesline and knocks Bradshaw off his feet with the shoulder block. He tags Christian in.

Absorbing shots to the head, Bradshaw reverses the Irish whip and nails the big boot. He tosses Christian out to ringside where Faarooq bounces the man's head off the steel steps behind the referee's back and rolls him back into the ring and follows him as he is assuming the legal man. He throws clobbering forearms to the upper back and right hands, Christian escapes the Dominator and kicks Faarooq in the gut before driving him into the mat via DDT. Both men tag their respective partners.

Edge lands the drop kick on Bradshaw and Faarooq. Christian helps Edge Irish whip Bradshaw to the opposing turnbuckle and Edge drops to his hands and knees for Christian to use him as a springboard. Bradshaw catches the man in mid-air and performs the overhead toss while Edge was busy with Faarooq.

Gangrel comes to ringside and pulls Christian out of harm's way leaving Edge to deal with the Acolytes on his own. The Tag-Team Champions do the double powerbomb on Edge with authority. Bradshaw hooks the leg and Teddy Long does the 3 count before calling for the bell. The Acolytes' music hit.

Hardcore Holly announced, "And your winner, me, the big shot Hardcore Holly!" The cocky young man drops the microphone and slides into the ring to attack Faarooq from behind.

However, that doesn't last because Bradshaw holds him for his tag-team partner to land shots then the Acolytes send Holly to the ropes and plant him with the double spinebuster.

OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!

The crowd roars at hearing the familiar wolf howl as the lights go out for a few seconds and when they come back on... THE BLADEWOLF IS IN THE RING! The Acoyltes turn only to get a double clothesline from the Bladewolf, who has not been seen for the past few weeks following the loss to the Hardy Boyz for the Tag Team titles. But now he was back and looking as destructive as ever.

Faarooq stumbles to his feet only to be grabbed by the throat, lifted up... AND CHOKESLAMMED ONTO BRADSHAW!

Bladewolf surveys the carnage, raises his arms up before throwing them down which makes four lightning bolts strike the turnbuckles, making fire explode from them as the lights dim to the sinister blood red and dark blue while his theme plays.

Bladewolf takes his leave.

The camera cuts to backstage in time to see the Brothers of Destruction heading for the curtain.

Jim Ross said, "My god, look at this. This is scary, Kane and the Undertaker have officially reunited and they will momentarily fight the Road Dogg."

Returning from a commercial breaks, the Undertaker's slow Ministry theme plays and the lights go out before switching to that eerie blue light and fog fills the arena.

The Undertaker emerges with Paul Bearer at his side and together they walk to the ring.

Tony Chimel said, "The following 2 on 1 Handicap Match is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Paul Bearer, from Death Valley, weighing in at 328 pounds, the Undertaker!" The Deadman walks up the steel steps and raises his arms, rolling his eyes back to return the lights then enters through the second rope.

Jim Ross stated, "I think the Road Dogg will end in the hospital right next to his buddy X-Pac." The lights go out and Burned plays. Moments later flames explode on the entrance ramp followed by the red light.

Chimel resumed, "And his tag-team partner. He weighs in at 326 pounds, Kane!" The masked demon methodically approaches the ring.

Jim Ross asked, "King, what in the world, what under the Sun or in heaven or hell could've brought Kane and the Undertaker together again?"

Jerry Lawler replied, "I don't know the answer to that, JR but the bigger question is what could ever stop them? We have seen in the past these two, along with Bladewolf, are the most destructive force in the history of the WWF. They're unstoppable. These guys could have anything they want!"

Kane steps over the top rope and stands in front of his brother as he slowly raises his arms then throws them back down, conjuring fire from the ring posts.

Paul Bearer's the happiest man in the world, the two monsters he guided during their debuts in the WWF have joined forces. Nothing can stop them now!

The Road Dogg's music hit and he said, "Oh, you didn't know? Your ass better call somebody!" He emerged from the curtain and advanced, "You damn right. It's me, the D-O double G!" He enters the ring but doesn't get to finish his catchphrase because Kane automatically attacks him, prompting referee Teddy Long to call for the bell and Undertaker to step on to the apron.

Kane pins Road Dogg in the corner and throws uppercut after uppercut launching the man off his feet. He then chokes Road Dogg with his boot. For the next 5 to 10 minutes, the Brothers of Destruction pick apart Road Dogg until Kane ends it with the Tombstone.

He holds the arms, staring at Road Dogg's face while Teddy Long's hand strikes the mat 3 times before calling for the bell. The slow Ministry them plays.

Tony Chimel said, "Here are your winners, Kane and the Undertaker!" The two monsters stand victorious and Kane slowly raises his arms then throws back down to have fire explode from the ring posts.

The long-awaited rematch for the WWF Championship comes at last.

Stone Cold Steve Austin's music played and Tony Chimel said, "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Introducing first. Making his way to the ring, from Victorian, Texas, weighing in at 252 pounds, the World Wrestling Federation Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin!"

Austin makes his way down to the ring and enters. He stands all on 4 turnbuckles and steps down removing his vest.

OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf played to a loud cheer from the fans as the lights switched to the sinister blood red and dark blue before the Bladewolf walked out, making his way towards the ring with purpose.

"And his opponent, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tomy Chimel announced before leaving the ring.

Making his way down the ramp, Bladewolf grabs the top rope and pulls himself up onto the ring apron before stepping foot over the top rope. He reaches up and pushes his hood down before taking off his metallic mask, revealing the wolf mask underneath with the eyeholes shrouded in total darkness.

Bladewolf's theme dies down and the lights return to normal as he takes off his coat and dumps it outside the ring for a stagehand to grab.

Austin hands the Smoking Skull belt to referee Earl Hebner who raises it over his head, signaling it's up for grabs. He next gives it to the stagehand out at ringside then calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The combatants waste no time going at it exchanging blows with each other, Austin soon wins the fist fight and pins Bladewolf in the corner. He kicks him in the stomach to get Bladewolf off his feet but Bladewolf refuses to do so. Austin Irish whips him to the opposing turnbuckle. Bladewolf bounces off it and wraps his hands around the champion's throat and reverses their positions throwing lefts and rights at the man then chokes Austin to the count of 4.

Seeing him glare at the referee the WWF Champion fights his way out of the corner. He Irish whips Bladewolf into the ropes, misses the clothesline and... JUMPS ON HIM FOR THE LOU THEZ PREZ! Austin throws piston-like right hands before nailing the running elbow drop. He goes for the first cover of the match! ONE! TWO-!" Bladewolf kicks out at two.

Austin gets to his feet and pulls Bladewolf up, then proceeds to ram his head off a turnbuckle, making him stumble back and Austains take the opportunity to clothesline him.

Austin walked around to the upper body, crouches down at Bladewolf's head, then starts to ram the back of his head repeatedly off the mat. Austin stops and Bladewolf sits up, holding the back of his head. Get gets to a knee when Austin lands a big right hand to the side of his face. Austin leans Bladewolf on the middle rope and starts to choke him with it, causing the referee to step in and begin the five count, with Austin breaking it at four. Austin runs to the ropes, bounces off, but Bladewolf whirls around and tackles him down to the mat.

The two throw punches at each other as they roll outside of the ring and to the floor. The Bladewolf gets to his feet at the same time as Austin and lands a big right hand, sending Austin stumbling around to the walkway aisle. Bladewolf follows and goes for another right hook but Austin blocks it, then rams his head off the metal guard railing, sending the former WWF Champion to a knee.

Austin brings an elbow down to his head, stunning the Bladewolf momentarily. Austin pulls him to his feet and starts taking him back to the ring but Bladewolf halts them and punches Austin in the face. Bladewolf brings Austin down and starts to set him up for a powerbomb, but struggles to lift Austin who fights back, refusing to be powerbombed on the concrete floor..

Bladewolf tires again, but Austin continues to struggle. He grabs Bladewolf's legs and... LIFTS HIM OVER HIS BACK AND BLADEWOLF FALLS BACK-FIRST ONTO THE CONCRETE FLOOR!

Austin takes a breather as Bladewolf slowly moves in pain while the referee checks on him. Austin walks over, grabbing Bladewolf and pulling him to his feet. Austin rears back and lands a right hand, making Bladewolf stumble backwards and turn, stumbling onto the ring apron.

Austin looks at the ring, then grabs the Bladewolf and goes for an Irish whip but Bladewolf reverses... AND SENDS AUSTIN INTO THE RING APRON INSTEAD! Bladewolf walks over and lands a quick right uppercut, stunning Austin. Bladewolf grabs Austin and then drives his knee into his stomach, then does it again, then again, then again, then again. Austin falls forward, clutching his stomach, but Bladewolf brings an elbow down onto the Rattlesnake's back, sending him to the floor.

Flipping his hair back, Bladewolf adjusts his left elbow pad before picking Austin up and tossing him back into the ring. The former WWF Champion slides in and watches Austin crawl to the ropes, pulling himself to his feet and turning around into a clothesline. Bladewolf runs, bounces off the ropes, and hits a running elbow drop to the chest of Austin.

Rather than go for the pin, he gets to his feet and pulls Austin to his again, Irish whips him into the corner before running and hits a turnbuckle clothesline to Austin. He remains there, then backs up, grabs Austin by the arm and yanks him into a close-quarters clothesline. Bladewolf looks around briefly before he grabs Austin's legs and drags him from the corner. He then runs, bounces off the ropes, and comes back for a leg drop across the throat of Austin. Bladewolf goes for the first cover in the match. ONE! TWO! Thr-! Austin kicks out at two.

Bladewolf gets to a knee and begins pounding away at Austin's forehead with some right hands. He stops after the sixth punch, then gets to his feet. He pulls Austin up and Irish whips him hard into the corner, but Austin surges right out and floors Bladewolf with a huge clothesline!

Bladewolf sits right up and gets to his feet... BUT AUSTIN TAKES HIM DOWN WITH ANOTHER HARD CLOTHESLINE! Bladewolf sits right up again and gets to his feet, ducks a third clothesline from Austin who bounces off the ropes and comes running into Bladewolf who flips him... AND HITS A SNAP SCOOP POWERSLAM!

Bladewolf hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THR-! Austin kicks out again!

Bladewolf shakes his head before he gets to his feet and stomps on Austin repeatedly, then lifts his right leg and kicks the back of it. Bladewolf holds the left leg up and then brings his arm down onto it. Austin yells out in pain as Bladewolf stands up and does it for a second time, then stands up and does it for a third time. The former WWF Champion gets to his feet and pulls Austin up to his, but then Austin starts fighting back, landing a right hand, then another, then goes for a third but Bladewolf ducks behind him, grabs him around the waist and sends him off his feet with a release German Suplex!

Austin clutches the back of his neck from the impact as Bladewolf gets right back to his feet, adjusting his elbow pads as he watches Austin roll on the mat from the impact and pain. He walks over, grabbing Austin and draping him out onto the ring apron. He gets out onto the ring apron, stares at Austin before he jumps up... AND HITS AN UNDERTAKER-STYLE LEG DROP ACROSS AUSTIN'S CHEST ON THE RING APRON!

Austin falls out of the ring, and the Bladewolf stands over him before pulling him to his feet and tossing him back inside.

The Bladewolf slides into the ring as Austin is getting to his feet and lands a clubbing blow. He then grabs Austin's right arm and yanks it, driving his shoulder into Austin's and forcing him to a knee. Bladewolf pulls Austin up to his feet, then drives his shoulder into his again. He goes for it for a third time, but Austin lands a right hand, then drives his elbow into Bladewolf's face then again, then again, then again, and he is soon repeatedly elbowing Bladewolf in the face until he lets go of Austin's arm, allowing the Texas Rattlesnake to kick him in the gut... AND HITS THE STONE COLD STUNNER!

Austin crawls over and hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT FOR A NEARFALL!

Austin shakes his head as he gets to his feet, then pulls Bladewolf up to his, and goes to kick him in the stomach to hit a second Stunner but Bladewolf caught his leg and spins him around, then scoops him up onto his shoulders and... HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! HE HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THRE- AUSTIN KICKS OUT!

Bith men are laying on their backs now before Bladewolf sits up and gets to his feet. He kicks Austin in the gut then lifts him in a delayed suplex, Bladewolf runs off the ropes for the elbow drop and misses. Swiftly returning to his feet, Bladewolf finds himself leaning against the ropes and gets clotheslined out of the ring.

Austin follows him out and throws his fist into the Demon Wolf's face and eyes the steel steps. Grabbing Bladewolf, he then proceeds... TO IRISH WHIP HIM INTO THE STEEL STEPS HARD!

Pain shoots through Bladewolf's spine upon impact but he sucks it up and buries his fist deep into Austin's abdomen, rolling into the ring to break the referee's count and exits to continue the fight. A vicious uppercut sends the Rattlesnake teetering and Bladewolf grabs hold of him then drives his knee into the gut many times and rolls him into the ring.

Sliding into the ring, Bladewolf eyes Austin then jumps up and lands a leg drop across the chest of the WWF Champion before hooking the leg! ONE! TWO! THR-! Austin kicks out again!

Bladewolf stomps the Rattlesnake in the face and slams his elbow on Austin's ribcage, next he climbs the turnbuckle and jumps off... BIT AUSTIN ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY AND BLADEWOLF CRASHES INTO THE CANVAS!

Bladewolf gets to his feet and spots Austin jumping off the second turnbuckle for an axe handle but Bladewolf catches him and performs the overhead belly to belly suplex! When he reaches down, Austin performs the inside cradle! ONE! TWO! THRe-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT! THAT WAS CLOSE!

The two enter another fist fight and Bladewolf wins this round, throwing punches to the champion's gut and sends Austin to the ropes, tossing him over his head in the back body drop. Raising his right hand, Bladewolf signals a Chokeslam is looming and eyes Austin.

Austin gets to his feet and turns around... INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts him up... BUT AUSTIN JUMPS OUT OF HIS HOLD! Bladewolf turns into a kick to the stomach... AND AUSTIN NAILS A SECOND STUNNER! HE HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF MANAGES TO KICK OUT!

Austin shook his head in disbelief before he gets to his feet and stomps on the challenger, then runs, rebounds off the ropes and brings his elbow down... BUT BLADEWOLF CAUGHT HIM BY THE THROAT! Getting to his feet, Bladewolf lifts Austin up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf falls down onto his side, a little exhausted by fights with all his strength to make it through this.

Getting to his feet, he does the cutthroat gesture to a cheer from the crowd, though some are booing as they want Austin to remak champion. This is what happens when you have two popular babyfaces fighting each other.

Bladewolf grabs Austin and scoops him up onto his right shoulder, looking for the Tombstone. However, Austin starts fighting back, driving his elbow repeatedly into the Bladewolf's face and slides off behind him. Bladewolf turs into a kick to the stomach... AND A THIRD STUn-NO! BLADEWOLF PUSHES AUSTIN FORWARD! AUSTIN COLLIDES WITH THE REFEREE! THE REFEREE IS DOWN!

Austin looked at the referee then turned around... INTO A SPEAR FROM BLADEWOLF! Bladewolf laid on his back again, then sat up as he moved to make the pin... WHEN TRIPLE H SUDDENLY SLIDES INTO THE RING AND ATTACKS HIM!

Bladewolf slugs it out with Triple H, the two trading rights with Bladewolf beginning to overpower Triple H... UNTIL CHYNA NAILS A LOW BLOW FROM BEHIND! Triple H grabs a chair that Chyna had slid into the ring and... BRINGS IT DOWN ON BLADEWOLF'S HEAD! As Bladewolf goes down, Triple H starts attacking both Austin and Bladewolf with the steel chair... AND HERE COMES THE ROCK!

The Rock slides into the ring and starts fighting Triple H, landing a right hook that sends Triple H out the ring and the two start brawling up into the back.

Bladewolf and Austin laid there, hurt and exhausted.

Suddenly, Undertaker's Slow Ministry theme hits to everyone's surprise. Fire explodes on the stage as the Undertaker and Kane walk out, making their way down the ramp with purpose. Nobody knew who they were out here for, as Undertaker could be hear to settle the score with Austin or deal with Bladewolf.

Bladewolf sits up and makes it to his feet just as Kane and Undertaker enter the ring. Bladewolf turns and eyes his brother who stare right back at him. The crowd on on their feet, waiting to see if this was going to become a fight between brothers. But then, to everyone's shock, the three turn and look towards Austin... AND START ATTACKING HIM!

"What the hell is this?!" JR shouted. "They're attacking Austin!"

The crowd starts booing loudly as the brothers begin decimating Austin, then Kane pulls Austin to his feet, lifts him up and... PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! Undertaker grabs Austin and scoops him up into position... AND NAILS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! Bladewolf grabs Austin next, lifts him up into a fireman's carry and... HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF!

Undertaker and Kane get out the ring as Bladewolf covers Austin! The referee is slowly groggy! ONE!... TWO!... THREE! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"Someone tell me this is not happening!" JR was in disbelief.

The Devil's Wolf played as Bladewolf gets to his feet. "Here is your winner and the NEW World Wrestling Federation Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced.

The Bladewolf was now a 3-time WWF Champion.

Bladewolf snatches the title from the referee and scares him out of the ring as Undertaker and Kane join him. The brothers look at each other, with Undertaker smirking evilly, then Bladewolf raises the title as Undertaker does his salute and Kane raises his arms, throwing them down to make fire spew from the turnbuckles.

An age of darkness and destruction had just begun.

And that's it for this chapter. Bladewolf is now a 3-time WWE Champion and has reunited with his brothers, and turned Heel for the first time since 1997.
