RAW is WAR: 2/8/1999

RAW is WAR was live at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. It had been a week of anticipation after the way last week's episode of RAW ended, with the Bladewolf turning Heel and reuniting with the Undertaker along with Kane to fully reform the Brothers of Destruction. And not only that, but the Bladewolf has become the WWF Champion for a third time in his career.

The segment with Shane McMahon and Test had passed, and the next match was the Brothers of Destruction vs Big Show and Road Dogg. It would be X=Pac teaming with Road Dogg, but he had been injured from an assault by the Undertaker and Kane last week on RAW.

OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!

The wolf howl went off to a mixed reaction as Undertaker's Slow Ministry theme plays. When the beat drops, pyro explodes on the stage and out comes the Brothers of Destruction with Paul Bearer escorting them. Bladewolf had the WWF Championship around his waist.

"The following three-on-two handicap match is scheduled for one-fall! Making their way to the ring, being accompanied by Paul Bearer, at a combined weight of 964 lbs, the Brothers of Destruction, KANE! THE UNDERTAKER! And the World Wrestling Federation Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced.

The Brothers of Destruction make their way down the ramp, with Bladewolf and Kane stopping at the end of it while Undertaker goes to the steel steps. He walks up them and raises his arms, turning the lights back to normal. As he starts to enter the ring, Bladewolf and Kane climb onto the apron and enter the ring over the top rope. Bladewolf takes off his metallic mask and then removes his coat which he dumps outside for a stagehand to collect.

He then takes off his WWF Championship and hands it to Paul Bearer to hold as Undertaker's theme dies down.

Road Dogg's theme then plays. "Oh, you didn't know?" Road Dogg comes out with a microphone. "You better call somebody! You damn right! You see, it's me! It's me! It's that D-O- double g! And speaking of dogs, cut the music." His theme stops playing. "Speaking of dogs, some might say I'm dumber than one, coming out here. Well, I ain't too lean. I wear neon green and at my side I got that giant!"

Big Show's theme plays and out comes the giant who gives Road Dogg a fist bump before they make their way towards the ring as the Brothers of Destruction look ready for a fight. Road Dogg and Big Show enter the ring... AND THE BROTHERS ATTACK THEM INSTANTLY!

The referee quickly calls for the bell to begin the match.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Bladewolf and Kane stomp away on Big Show while the Undertaker focuses on Road Dogg. Kane and Bladewolf get Big Show against a corner and Bladewolf keeps Big Show pinned while Kane delivers some right hands to the giant, then they quickly switch places so Bladewolf can land a couple of rights. Bladewolf then gives Big Show an uppercut and sees Road Dogg taking the fight to Undertaker, and once he sees that kane is handling Big Show, Bladewolf runs up and clobbers Road Dogg from behind.

"Hold him down!" Undertaker ordered, and Bladewolf slammed his leg down onto Road Dogg's chest, then held his upper body down which allowed Undertaker to bring his elbow down onto the Outlaw's chest repeatedly, then deliver a few stomps.

Bladewolf hammers away on Road Dogg's head before Undertaker gestures for him to get up, and the two kick Road Dogg out of the ring underneath the bottom rope.

Seeing Big Show was now beginning to overpower Kane, Bladewolf and Undertaker attacked the big man from behind. Bladewolf clubbed him on the back repeatedly with his forearm while Undertaker drove his fist into the Big Show's ribcage and Kane aimed for the head. Big Show went to shove them off, but then Bladewolf drove his knee into the back of Big Show's left, dropping the big man down to a single knee, and allowing the Brothers of Destruction to keep up their assault.

Bladewolf and Undertaker pull Big Show to the ropes and Irish whip him off them, and go for a double back body drop but Big Show halts himself and kicks them, making them stumble. Kane charges and clotheslines Big Show who stumbles into the ropes, comes off them, and floors Kane with his own clothesline. Big Show straightens up then jumps, looking for an elbow drop, but Kane rolled out of the way in time.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and points towards Big Show, getting a nod from Kane, then both of them clothesline him over the top rope, sending him to the floor while Road Dogg slides into the ring.

The Outlaw charges and hits Bladewolf from behind, then throws some punches at Kane, then turns only to be given an uppercut by Undertaker. The Phenom tells his brothers something and they get out onto the ring apron, now letting the match start one-on-one with Undertaker against Road Dogg.

Undertaker grabs Road Dogg and tosses him into the corner, then goes for a right hand but Road Dogg ducks it, wrapping his arms around the Phenom and turning him around to nail a right hand. Undertaker comes out the corner and Road Dogg Irish whips him off the ropes.

Undertaker reverses the Irish whip, Road Dogg rebounds off the ropes and comes running... INTO A GOOZLE! Before Undertaker could go for a Chokeslam, Big Show comes at him from behind with a forearm to the back, sending the Phenom down. The referee quickly tells Big Show off and to get out of the ring.

While his back is turned, Bladewolf enters the ring and floors Road Dogg with a clothesline before getting back out onto the ring apron. Kane enters and lands a quick running elbow drop to Road Dogg's chest before getting out to join Bladewolf on the ring apron.

Undertaker gets to his feet and delivers a stomp to Road Dogg, then pulls him to his feet before knocking him back down with a right uppercut. Undertaker brings Road Dogg over to the corner and rams his head right off the top turnbuckles before he begins throwing hard lefts and rights into the midsection of Road Dogg, before he aims for the forehead, delivering hard punches. Road Dogg falls down to his knees in the corner, and the Phenom stomps at his chest before scaring the referee back.

Turning back to Road Dogg, Undertaker delivers another kick then pulls him back to his feet and keeps him in the corner. Giving a glare to the referee again, Undertaker drives his elbow into Road Dogg's face, then grips his hair before bringing him towards his corner, saying something to Bladewolf who places his boot on the rope and Undertaker... RAMS ROAD DOGG'S FACE RIGHT OFF BLADEWOLF'S BOOT!

Undertaker tags in Bladewolf, who comes in as Undertaker delivers a boot to Road Dogg's head for good measure before getting out onto the apron. Bladewolf grips Road Dogg by the hair, then drives his right fist into his forehead hard, followed by another hard right punch. He drives his knee into Road Dogg's stomach and brings his forearm down across the back afterwards, then whirls on the referee when he tries telling him to back up. The referee is quick to back away from the Demon Wolf.

Bladewolf turns back to Road Dogg and delivers a boot to the midsection, before he pulls Road Dogg to his feet and wraps his arm around the top rope before pulling on said arm. Road Dogg yells in pain and the referee begins to count.

"One! Two! Three! Four-!" The referee's count stops when Bladewolf whirls on him, making him quickly back away.

Bladewolf turns back to Road Dogg and Irish whips him off the ropes, goes for a right hand but Road Dogg ducks it, rebounds off the ropes and... LEAPS FOR A CROSSBoD-NO! BLADEWOLF CAUGHT HIM!

Bladewolf easily holds Road Dogg, showing his power and strength and then... BRINGS ROAD DOGG'S RIBCAGE DOWN ONTO HIS KNEE! Dropping the Outlaw, Bladewolf flips his hair back and adjusts his elbow pads for a brief moment, then turns Road Dogg onto his back, falls to a knee and slaps his hand around Road Dogg's neck to start choking him.

"Bladewolf, let him go! Come on!" The referee tried, and then began to count. "One! Two! Three! Four-!"

Bladewolf released the hold and stood up. Bladewolf looks towards Big Show who was trying to get his partner back into this. Bladewolf brings his knee down into Road Dogg's side, causing him to clutch that area. Next, Bladewolf set him on his back and then jumped up before slamming his leg down for a big-time leg drop. He hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THRE-! Big Show breaks up the pin!

Bladewolf snaps to his feet and gets in Big Show's face with the referee trying to restore order as he tells Big Show to get out of the ring.

With the referee's back turned, Undertaker pulls Road Dogg halfway out onto the apron and brings his elbow down onto his chest and Kane delivers some stomps to him. After pushing him back into the ring, Undertaker gets onto the apron.

Pulling Road Dogg into the center of the ring, Bladewolf eyes him and then brings his elbow down across his chest before going for the cover. ONE! TWO-! Big Show breaks it up with a kick at Bladewolf.

The referee distracted once again by Big Show in the ring, Undertaker and Kane come in and stomp away on Road Dogg before getting out when the referee got Big Show out of the ring. Bladewolf grabs Road Dogg and lifts him up onto his right shoulder, looking to Tombstone him but Road Dogg gets off his shoulder and... NAILS A LOW BLOW! THE REFEREE DIDN'T SEE IT!

Road Dogg crawls towards Big Show who has his hand outstretched, while Bladewolf makes the tag to Kane who comes in and grabs Road Dogg, trying to pull him away from Big Show... BUT ROAD DOGG KICKS HIM BETWEEN THE LEGS! Kane goes down and Road Dogg... MAKES THE TAG TO BIG SHOW!

Big Show comes in and clotheslines Kane, clotheslines Undertaker when he runs into the ring, and clotheslines Bladewolf over the top rope but Bladewolf landed on his feet. Big SHow turned his attention to Kane and starts pummeling away on the Big Red Machine, unaware of Bladewolf sliding back into the ring until Big Show turned around... BIT BLADEWOLF NAILS A SPEAR ON THE BIG SHOW!

Bladewolf rolls out of the ring as Kane gets to his feet and sees Big Show is down. He pulls the giant to his feet and then goozles him before managing to lift him up a little... AND SLAMS HIM BACK DOWN WITH A CHOKESLAM! KANE GOES FOR THE COVER! ONE! TWO! THREE! THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION WIN!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Undertaker's theme plays as Kane gets to his feet. "Here are your winners... KANE, THE BLADEWOLF AND THE UNDERTAKER!" Tony Chimel announced.

Bladewolf and Undertaker enter the ring and Bladewolf looks down at Big Show before he jumps up and slams his leg down for a leg drop. Undertaker gets down to a knee and starts hammering away on Big Show while Bladewolf and Kane stomp away at him.

Road Dogg weakly enters the ring, trying to help his partner, but Kane saw him and quickly attacks him with stomps before pulling him in. Kane grabs him by the throat, as does Bladewolf and they lift him up... BEFORE PLANTING HIM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!

The Acolytes come out and start making their way towards the ring... WHEN HARDCORE HOLLY ATTACKS THEM FROM BEHIND WITH A BASEBALL BAT! Once they are laid out, Holly points at the Brothers of Destruction and says something, to which they just glare at him in response, not really caring that they owed him one.

RAW went to a commercial break.

After the Jeff Jarrett vs D'Lo Brown match for the WWF European and Intercontinental Championships, the sound of glass shattering filled the area and Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme plays to a loud pop as the Texas Rattlesnake and former WWF Champion comes out with a pretty pissed off look on his face as he makes his way to the ring.

Hitting the ring, he went to all four corners and raised his arms before stepping down and grabbing a microphone while his theme dies down.

"Austin! Austin! Austin!" The crowd chanted.

"I ain't gonna be subtle about it, I'm really pissed off!" Austin growled, the crowd cheering at hearing how angry he was. "Last week, I gave that masked, silent bastard, the Bladewolf, the rematch he had been long-awaiting for. The rematch from Unforgiven last year. The rematch from his match at King of the Ring. And how does that end? He has to get his older brothers to come in and whip my ass so he can get the win and the WWF Title. Bladewolf, you better have a damn good reason for this sudden reconciliation with the Undertaker after everything that big dead bastard has done these past few months. But you know what? I don't really give a rat's ass about all that, I want my rematch tonight! Bladewolf, get your sorry ass out here!"

The crowd are cheering as Austin paces inside the ring, waiting for Bladewolf to come out.

The Brothers of Destruction make their way to the ring and climb onto the ring apron. Bladewolf is staring down Austin who is staring right back. Undertaker says something to Bladewolf who nods, and Undertaker enters the ring, grabbing a microphone and stands between Austin and his brothers.

"Now Austin, you really shouldn't take what happened last week so personal." Undertaker said. Austin narrowed his eyes in response. "Last week was the culmination of the true master plan that my brothers and I made months ago. And let me give you a little heads up; you ain't facing my little brother for the title, because it's going to be me that faces him first."

Bladewolf nods at this, confirming it.

"Now you better get out of here in three seconds or we're going to stomp, what do you say?, a mudhole in your ass." Undertaker threatened.

Austin starts to speak when Undertaker clobbers him. Bladewolf and Kane quickly come in and join their brother in attacking Austin, showing no mercy as they ruthlessly attack him, the crowd booing them.

Getting Austin down, Bladewolf drives his knee into Austin's side repeatedly while Kane and Undertaker keep stomping on him, then Bladewolf brings his forearm and elbows down onto Austin's back repeatedly. Undertaker gets to his knees and starts pounding away at Austin's forehead with hammering right hands. Kane brings his elbow down on Austin, and Bladewolf jumps up before nailing a leg drop across Austin's chest.

Once they're done, the Brothers of Destruction's theme hits and they take their leave with Paul Bearer while Austin is laid out in the middle of the ring.

RAW goes to a commercial break.

the main event finally arrived, in which the Bladewolf defends his WWF Championship against his brother, the Undertaker.

In the arena, the Undertaker's theme plays and out he comes with Paul Bearer "The following contest is scheduled for one-fall and is for the World Wrestling Federation Championship! Introducing first, the challenger. Accompanied by Paul Bearer, representing the Brothers of Destruction, weighing 328 lbs... THE UNDERTAKER!" Tony Chimel announced.

The Undertaker reaches the ring and makes his way up the steps, raising the lights back to normal before he steps inside the ring and his theme soon dies down.

OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf played to a loud cheer from the fans as the lights switched to the sinister blood red and dark blue before the Bladewolf walked out, the WWF Championship around his waist, making his way towards the ring with purpose.

"And his opponent, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs, he is the World Wrestling Federation Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced before leaving the ring.

Making his way down the ramp, Bladewolf grabs the top rope and pulls himself up onto the ring apron before stepping foot over the top rope. He reaches up and pushes his hood down before taking off his metallic mask, revealing the wolf mask underneath with the eyeholes shrouded in total darkness.

Suddenly, Triple H slides into the ring with a microphone in hand, gaining everyone's attention. "This isn't happening!" Triple H declared, Bladewolf's theme cut off. "This ain't happening, Deadman. In case you haven't been paying attention around here, I'm the #1 Contender! That means if you want your brother, you gotta go through me! This is my time and you're on it! Now somebody's gonna kick his ass and take his belt, but it's not gonna be you, it's gonna be me! I don't care if you three are all buddy-buddy, happy brothers now and only care about keeping the WWF Title amongst yourselves. That's not going to happen, because I'm going to kick Bladewolf's ass! So either take it-"

Bladewolf whipped Triple H around and nails him with an uppercut. Instantly, Bladewolf, Undertaker and Kane start attacking Triple H, beating the hell out of him in the corner... WHEN HERE COMES STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!

Bladewolf is turned around and Austin unloads on the man that took the WWF Title away from him last week, throwing a fury of right hands until Bladewolf countered with a right of his own then got Austin into the corner, stomping away at him. The crowd react as... HERE COMES THE ACOLYTES! The Acolytes are coming to get themselves some of the Brothers of Destruction!

And as if that wasn't enough... HERE COMES THE BIG SHOW AND ROAD DOGG! they went right on the attack on Undertaker and Kane while Bladewolf was fighting off Austin and Bradshaw.

And then... HERE COMES BILLY GUNN! Gunn slides in and goes after Bladewolf. But then... HERE COMES THE ROCK! The Rock slides in and goes right after his opponent at SummerSlam in Billy Gunn.

And then... HERE COMES HARDCORE HOLLY! It's an all-out brawl as everyone is fighting someone. When the ring clears up as most are brawling outside, only Bladewolf, Austin and Triple H are in the ring and they eye each other in a tense stand off as RAW goes off the air...

Summer of 1999 was one of the best parts of that year for WWF. You had Aistin and Triple H building their rivalry, and the slow transition of Undertaker becoming American Badass the following year.
