"Tvs, Radios, and Text via book or newspaper... when those are around..."

I let out a quiet groan as Mittelt nuzzles her head in between my shoulder and neck.

My eye cracks open, peering at a digital clock nearby.

"Haaah" I yawn, hugging the girl closer.

"We should probably get started." I whisper. "We did literally nothing yesterday."

"Mnnn. we did... each other." The girl sleepily replies.

I gently jostle her. "We need to take a shower and get ready, Mittelt."

"Noooooo." She whines.

"Jeez. Are you sure you're a lust fallen and not a sloth fallen?" I ask, gently poking her cheek with a finger.

"Don't talk about that bitch."

I am silent for a long moment, finger idly curling some of her long blonde hair around a finger now that she has let it down. "So your mother was-"

"Yes."

"You never really spoke about her?" I begin slowly.

"What's to say? Lazy and bitch." The girl frowns, her eyes cracking open as she sits up rubbing an eye tiredly. "Nothing like me."

"Mhhhm?" I hum as I bring her close.

"H-Hey! Don't sarcastically hum at me! I- I'll- I'll stop having sex with you!"

"You won't."

"I won't. But STILL!" She crumbles instantly.

I kiss her forehead and stand up, stretching briefly.

I scoop her up in a bridal, carry, making my way towards the bathroom.

"I-I love you." The girl whispers.

"Love you too, Mittelt." I smile down at her. "Want me to help wash your wings again?"

"S-Sure..." She whispers, looking incredibly shy.

According to her doing something like this is quite intimate. Showing arguably her most sensitive place. Her most vulnerable place.

I sit her down in our massive shower hot-tub mix, then make my way over to the sink to brush my teeth.

After minute or so- of which Mittelt readies a bath in the background, I finish and step inside the tub.

Mittelt brushes her teeth as well and joins me not long after, sitting in my lap.

"Haaah. We really shouldn't." I whisper, temptations clawing at me as I can feel her ass rub against my crotch. "We have things to do today."

"Fine." The girl sighs as she stands, water dripping from her body. "We can wait until tonight."

Slowly but surely six large black feathered wings sprout from her back.

I pause, blinking twice as I look upon them.

Well... he works fast...

Mmmmaybe I should have asked Mittelt for her opinion on this... fuck. But how would I explain 'oh yeah, I regularly converse with a man assumed to be dead... and he was kind of sandbagging against the four satans, the literal embodiment of evil and chaos, and Azazel'?"

I hope.

God I hope he was sandbagging. Otherwise Trihexa just became a lot more dangerous.

"Uhhh Mittelt?" I begin quietly.

"Mhm?" She hums, reaching over to the bottles of shampoo and conditioner.

"Please be calm." I weakly wince.

"..."

Mittelt's hand pauses inches from one of the bottles. "What do you mean?"

"Alright... how do I explain this..." I begin quietly, gazing at her wings.

Instead of the normal uniform blackness throughout. Like a nice calming void, now... it's flecked with white feathers.

Like the inverse of cookies and cream ice cream... or the night sky with its stars.

She turns, eyes catching sight of her wings.

She freezes in place, eyes widening as her mouth slightly opens.

"WHAAAAAAAAAT?!" She shrieks.

*Knock-Knock-Knock-Knock-Knock-Knock*

My knuckles rapidly tap on the door of a large building in the outskirts of Kuoh.

The large door slowly creaks open revealing a blue haired girl. Her hair is messy, there's some acne on her face.

She looks at me, eyes narrowing slightly. "Oh. It's you. What do you want?"

"We need to speak with sister Griselda at once... it's really important." I stress.

The girl stares for a long moment. "Nnnnno."

"I'll turn you into a small animal." I threaten. "I'm literally a wizard in a children's fairy tale!"

A hand is placed on top of the blue-ettes head as she is tugged away from the door.

Greselda is stood there a moment later. "Yes, Mr. Hyoudou. What can I do for you... please don't turn my ward into a small animal."

"We need to speak to Gabriel. There's a question we really need to ask her. It is quite important."

"How... important is it?"

"World Shaking." I state, glancing back to Mittelt who is staring at her hands.

The woman lets out a long sigh. "Very well. Come in."

She quickly grabs her phone, activating face time.

"Griselda? Is something wrong?"

I quickly create a screen, causing the view to shift, a large screen appearing and showing the blonde herself.

"Hello again!" I greet with a small wave.

"Suzutsu?! What is it?" The blonde's gaze stray to Mittelt who is still staring down at herself in shock and confusion. "What's wrong?"

"Alright. So. I've got a question. I know how Angels can fall but... uh... is it possible for the Opposite? Can fallen angels... ah... Repent?" I question.

Her face becomes deathly serious, eyes briefly flicking to Mittelt, a mildly perturbed frown on her lips. "What do you mean?"

"Like... is it possible for a fallen angel's wings to turn white and they repent? I mean... surely for second generation fallen at least, right? The son shouldn't suffer the sins of the father and all that?"

"Why... is this important?" Gabriel slowly asks I can see a faint glimmer of hope deep in her eyes. "Could it be that... Mittelt here is possibly..."

I look to Mittelt who lets out a quiet sigh.

Six speckled wings sprout from her back. There's noticeably more white than earlier.

I can hear Gabriel let out a small gasp as Mittelt looks down slightly.

She doesn't know how to feel about them. I'm not sure if she likes them or dislikes them.

On one hand... she might finally be able to have a close familial relationship.

On the other. It's a large change. Plus she sort of becomes a target now.

Not any less than she would if it were known she was the daughter of Azazel, but still.

"Incredible..." Gabriel whispers. "This- this could change everything!"

She seems to realize something, a brief look of sorrow crosses her face, halo flickering briefly. "So many... those who had been slain in the great war... they could have been redeemed..."

"I... thank you two for telling me this." The Seraph begins slowly, seeming to get her thoughts in order. "I've checked your claims about Asia Argento... they were correct... and heaven is now in the process of... questioning... hell over Diodora Astaroth. We have taken Asia... and she is safe."

"Good." I nod once as Mittelt slowly retracts her wings.

I step over to the blonde, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and peering into her eyes. "Are you okay?"

"I'm... fine." She whispers.

"You don't sound it." I observe.

"I'm just... I'm worried Suzu." The girl slumps slightly into my touch. "I... I'm worried that I'll have nowhere to go. That I'll be kicked out of the Grigori. That whatever contact I do have with those I care about would be severed."

I give her a deadpan stare. "You think Azazel would abandon you? Pfft. At most he'd ask you to break into heaven and take pictures of Gabriel bathing. You have nothing to worry about. Also. We literally have no friends in the Grigori. Just business associates. The only thing you could even really be hung up about is Eden Interactive... and I've been planning on- and have been- slowly widening the distance between it and the Grigori."

"Okay..." The girl whispers.

"Besides... if it really bothers you that much, there's nothing a few cans of black spray paint won't fix." I smirk with a small idle shrug.

"DON'T YOU GET PAINT ANYWHERE NEAR MY WINGS! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG THAT WOULD TAKE TO WASH OUT YOU FUCKING PSYCHOPATH?!"

I'm silent for a long moment, most of the people nearby are silent after her outburst.

"I'm similar in opinion getting any sticky liquid out of feathers is an exhausting process. Especially dark colored liquids like blood or mud." Gabriel supplies, giving her sage wisdom. "In fact, that's probably the only downside to gaining additional pairs of wings. Each new set adds an additional twenty to thirty minutes in the bath to get them preened and cleaned to an acceptable standard."

"If your wings fully turn, I would be delighted to have you enter heaven, Mittelt! Oh we could do so many fun things! We could paint each others nails, watch movies, ooh! And discuss your relationship with Suzutsu here!"

"I-I'd rather not talk about that." Mittelt suddenly stutters, her face reddening slightly, a feather or two darkening briefly before brightening back up.

Huh...

I could do something about that... lets see... take a basic model of Mittelt's forearm.

Metal bracer. Tone it back. Soften the edges. Interior lining of silk to protect against the chill and to make it less likely to chafe.

The outward appearance is the easiest to design and it's honestly subject to change.

Mittelt tugs my sleeve causing me to snap out of my daze. "Huh? What? Sorry, I was designing something there."

"What do you plan to do now, Suzutsu?"

"Nothing?" I blink twice. "I mean, she can un fall, fall again, turn into a devil, somehow ascend to deityhood, I genuinely wouldn't care and I'll be beside her every step of the way."

I reach out, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and pull her close. "I'd pity anyone who tries to hurt her... because I'm not very forgiving. So if you have any family members who might see a fallen angel- one who has never seen the pearly gates in the first place- ascending as an abomination that should be put down as they would 'taint the sanctity of heaven'. Well... you better keep them on a short leash before I put them in a shallow grave."

"Do not worry, young Hyoudou. I'm sure the rest of the heavenly host share my opinion on this." The woman smiles.

"Mhm?" I give her a half-lidded stare. "Forgive my pessimistic human nature to not believe you."

I bow my head slightly. "Thank you for your time."

"No... thank you, Suzutsu, Mittelt... you've given me hope!" The Seraph smiles brightly.

"So... how do you feel?" I ask slowly as we cuddle on the couch, Mittelts closed eyes slowly crack open, meeting my gaze as she sits up a moment later.

"Pretty... good actually." She admits. "I'm going to be honest... I think that sin of lust of mine is vanishing and that feels... weird."

"how so?"

"Well... it's not like I'm not interested in sex... it just feels... less overbearing now. That yearning overwhelming itch in my stomach that could only be solved in one way has basically vanished. I feel... lucid. In control. I'm not ruled by my lust anymore."

*Vmm*

The girl blinks twice as we both slowly look upwards to a little hovering halo that has now appeared above her head.

"Huh..." She mutters. "Well... I'll be damned-"

The halo flickers slightly.

"Ah... I see. That is... interesting."

The corners of her mouth turn downwards slightly. "On one hand, no swears... on the other no overbearing lust that makes it so we genuinely get nothing done as we're too busy ffff-"

The halo dims so she quickly corrects herself. "-fffffreaking? Uh... banging like rabbits."

I watch as it brightens back up.

I look back down to Mittelt who is giving me an unimpressed glare.

"What?" I ask.

"I can see that impish smile. What is it?" She gives me a flat stare.

"Ooooh nothing." I smile.

I pull out a tiny metal mallet.

"DO NOT-"

*Ting* *Ting* *Ting*

I tap her halo with it, causing her to sigh. "You're sooo annoying."

"Yep. But you'll put up with me cause you love me!"

"I do." She smiles gently, only to turn away, crossing her arms. "For some reason."

"Tsundere angel. Did it hurt when you rose into heaven?"

"Once more... Racist." She growls. "I don't think this glowy circle will care if I smack you."

"I wonder if a halo can break." I mutter, eyes straying upwards.

I reach upwards.

She weakly smacks my hand away. "Don't you dare try to break my shit!"

It flickers.

"I just want to see if I can touch it... and if so I kind of want to lick it."

"You- Wh- WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" She questions, a raging blush on her face.

"First off? Onion Ring. Next... Do you want... like a list or for me to just give you a general summary?" I grin in reply.

Seeing as she doesn't reply after a good ten seconds I continue on. "Okay it all started when I was just a boy... I was born too smart... a photographic and eidetic memory."

"Oh. Woe is you." The girl rolls her eyes.

"It actually kind of sucks at times... I perfectly remember the feeling of birth... the painful squeezing. The freezing cold. The sting of fluid in my lungs... the most painful- and only- spank I had ever experienced that made it feel like flesh was being ripped from my bones."

The girl sits here, mouth a flat line and eyes wide.

"Oh." She squeaks out.

She shakes her head. "W-Well now I know why you're such a brat! Y-You were never disciplined properly!"

"And then I got attacked by some sort of man-eating horse youkai when I was six... killed it via balance breaker... sort of got pressganged by your dad... oh! Then I met you. That last part definitely caused a bunch of my issues~."

She pouts causing me to smile warmly and tightly hug her, rubbing my face against her cheek. "But those little issues are things I'd never trade for anything in the world!"

"Sappy." She mutters.

"You think it's impossible to play domain of magic now? We never really tested what happened with a halo."

The girl opens her mouth... then closes it... then opens it again.

I reach up and poke it, tilting it off its axis. "Oh wait. You can move it. Interesting. You could probably slip the helmet on underneath it."

The girl slowly stands up, her wings sprouting from her back. She looks surprisingly bashful, looking down.

"S-So... how do I look?" She asks quietly.

The corners of my mouth turn upwards as I look her from head to toe.

Her wings are now completely snow white.

She looks a little scared of my opinion.

"Mittelt." I breathe "You already know fully well what my opinion of you is."

"You... think the black wings were better... don't you?" She whispers.

"Mittelt." I sigh, rubbing my forehead as I stand, tilting her head up and capturing her lips with my own. "You're breathtaking."

"I love you... white wings. Black wings. They literally do not matter. Either way you are stunningly beautiful... what I love about these wings is that you are you. You don't have your father's sin sitting in your mind... making you want to indulge. You're free. You can now do whatever you want without anything coloring your decision. If you want to have sex all day? Sure. If you want to lay around and eat fast food? Absolutely. But it's your decision now... and I think that's even more beautiful."

A deep blush appears on her cheeks.

"D-Dummy." She mutters under her breath.

"I am noticing that you are being... less scathing than normal, though... so maybe the halo and wings are pulling you in the opposite direction?"

"..." Mittelt is silent for a moment before she crosses her arms, looking away. "Fucker."

The halo flickers.

"Theeeere we go." I smile. "There's my snappy little bitch."

"I'm keeping most of those thoughts inside because, well... I do kind of want to meet Gabriel..." The girl blushes slightly. "I don't have a good relationship with my mom... so maybe one with my aunt will be better?"

"Mommy issues, ah?" I ask with a knowing smirk.

"S-Shut up!" She growls.

I pause, a thought striking me like a meteor. "You know... I just realized something."

"Huh?" The girl tilts her head.

"You're a product of incest." I point out.

Her mouth becomes flat as she stares at me.

She deeply inhales.

I am forced to duck a haymaker punch from the diminutive girl that would easily rip through steel.

She suddenly falls to her knees and lets out an agonized scream, seemingly thinking on it for a bit longer after her knee-jerk punch reaction. "FUUUUUUCK! Y-YOU'RE RIGHT! AAAAAAAAAA-"

"Shhhh." I gently. Whisper, holding the girl close and rubbing the back of her head. "That was just a joke. It's not true. I just wanted to poke fun at you. When god created the angels he made sure that each one was different. At worst. It's like adoptive siblings having children. Kind of weird, but whatever. They all were created by god, thus he is their 'father' not that they are biologically related... besides... using this logic all humans are inbred as well, being descended from Adam and Eve."

"One of these days I'm going to beat the shit out of you." The girl pouts, leaning into my touch, she wipes her eyes which had begun to tear up. "You always bully me... you prick."

I watch a pale man with pointed ears and long black hair weave between multiple sword swipes.

He fights three people at once, a feral grin on his face.

With a slash of his weapon, he disarms one of his attackers...

At the elbow...

Then with another swipe he cleaves one of the bandits from hip to shoulder.

He raises his hand, catching the attack of the final man by grabbing his wrist, a murderous glint in his eye as he turns and promptly skewers the man.

He lets out a long breath, a smile on his face as he looks down to the red clinging to his sword, the smile flicks downwards slightly as it begins to evaporate into motes of blue.

Mental note. Add an 'extended blood' mode to make him happy.

"So." I call out, causing the man to swivel, eyes narrowing as he peers up at me sat in a tree that rests in the center of this bandit camp. "You seem to be enjoying yourself, Kokabiel."

"You..." The man frowns. "You are... the creator of this world, are you not?"

"I am." I nod once, hopping from the tree, landing on the ground below with a slight crouch.

"Why are you here?" He asks slowly.

"Merely to get a read on the man whom Azazel dropped into the game... and the man whom was causing trouble in my town."

"Kuoh town?" He questions.

"Correct." I nod once.

"Ah. My mistake... I was trying to start a war... but with this?"

He looks to his fist, a grin crossing his lips. "This will do."

"Hm... do you plan to face that wyvern in about two hundred hours?" I ask slowly.

"Of course!" He grins. "Why would I ever refuse such a challenge?!"

"That's not very fair... after all, I've limited the others to a mere sixty four in-game hours... your play time is current eighty eight and I assume it will rise as high as one or two hundred by the time the mission rolls around. How about I cut you a deal."

"A deal?" The man echoes.

"Don't participate... and in exchange I will summon it again for you to fight one-on-one. Same stakes and everything. In exchange... I will point out the location of some powerful enemies for you to face."

The man ponders for a long moment before nodding once. "Very well."

"Alright then." I smile brightly. "In that case... here."

With a flash two items appear.

The first is a horn made out of... well... a horn and the next item is a compass.

"This horn will call the wyvern to you when you are outside of a town or village. It is currently locked and will remain locked until the raid is complete at which point you may, at any point, start your battle... but only once. You may only use this item once... as for the compass? It points you to the nearest enemy that qualifies as a boss."

He reaches out, grabbing both, eyes narrowing down at the compass. "I see. Thank you."

With that he turns and walks away.

I follow suit, walking in the opposite direction, arms folded behind my head.

I wonder...

Should I?

I'm silent for a brief moment, my walk halting briefly.

Yes.

Yes I should. Because it's funny.

"By the way." I call out, causing the man to glance over his shoulder. "A certain magical girl is playing this game."

His eyes sharpen. "Oh? And in what direction is she exactly?"

"She's not online at the moment due to the devil race being needled by heaven currently, due to a holy maiden and nun obsessed freak of a devil, but she does play this game... keep an eye out. She didn't exactly change what she looks like." I smile briefly before lifting off the ground via wind magic and flying off into the distance with a burst of speed.

I look down at the steadily gathering group of people below. I can see some familiar faces.

There's Kirito, Rias, Milim, Serafall.

Oh! There's Kunou and Senko.

Sa-

Saber Alter?!

Huh...

Oh look. That's Sona, right? It was kind of hard to tell, but chess name and Serafall's general clinginess sort of reveal it. Oh right. I remember now. I watched Sona and Rias meet earlier. Just so much has happened that it kind of slipped my mind.

The horde numbers at about three thousand.

I may need to upgrade the boss slightly, then.

Done!

I just changed its status from 'Raid Boss' to 'World Boss'.

Buuuut a level twenty world boss when the highest level here is only level sixteen? Hmm... let's give it an Achilles heel as well. Dragon slaying weapon. Imbedded in its back. Between the wings.

That'll do.

With a flash of colorful lights, I cancel invisibility causing a brief silence to echo out across the field.

I touch my throat, casting a brief amplification spell.

"Hello there." I greet. "Most of you I haven't met yet, but I do see some familiar faces... one moment, let me just pause your playtime so I can speak without wasting your remaining time."

With a wave of my hand a wave of light bursts outwards, washing over the hordes.

Quite a few flinch at the light, but blink and look around after its over, seemingly noticing that the clock has stopped.

"To those I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, I welcome you to my game and I hope you have enjoyed your time here." I begin. "Allow me to briefly explain what is about to happen. You all... a group of three thousand one hundred and twenty three- twenty five now- are going to participate in the first true boss that domain of magic is going to see."

"Your contributions will be calculated by Domain of Magic's systems, and you will be given a rating based on your overall assistance to slaying the foe you are about to face. This is a system that will also exist within the true game as well. In regards to the greater bosses at least."

"Through a very complex algorithm It calculates not only damage done to the boss, but any support you might do as well. Such as healing, shielding, or buffing at which point you are given a ranking." I begin to explain. "This ranking is quite important as for large scale bosses like this, the higher up on the totem pole you are, the sooner you get to pick rewards. Bosses like this drop an assortment of items, experience, and money. Everyone will get money, but the top few get to pick the items directly. The number one position picks something first, followed by the second, then the third, and so on."

"Today... that system will still function, so even if you don't get first place, if you do well enough you will get something... but that's not to say that those who don't do well will not get anything. After the top spots, the remainder have a random chance to get an item... like you would in normal MMOs. Some of the top ten or so might even get a second item if they are lucky enough. The amount of people who are ensured to get something is dependent on the tier of boss. This system was created to ensure at least one full set of boss-drop exclusive items exists in the world if a boss is merely a one-time thing."

"Minibosses, Bosses and Group Bosses are not guaranteed items. Merely additional money and experience for the highest contributors. For Super Bosses, the top contributor will be able to select something from their drop pool... with some rare exceptions with truly insignificant drop rates. For raid bosses, it's the top five... finally is world bosses for which the top ten will be selected."

"Which is what you all shall be fighting as there's more than I originally assumed there was going to be." I smirk slightly. "I'd suggest spreading out a little bit... good luck!"

I snap my fingers then swing my hand downwards, a stream of light shoots from my hand into the distance where it explodes. A swirling vortex appears in the sky. A large wing seems to hook around the portal as a massive reptilian head slowly comes through.

The rest of the massive wyvern's body follows, its large black wings extending outwards.

There's a skull beside its name.

Abyssal Wyvern Level 20 {World Boss}
{Scourage from the Abyss}

Ah... these people may be doomed.

Oh well. Good entertainment!

Happy Crisis! I hope all of you have a good day.
