Hello Readers! I'm back with another chapter for all of you! I've been hard at work typing so I have lots to post, and they will be coming out more frequently for a little while. Thanks to all of those who have left reviews so far, (bsassan0378 and derekmbrown13) I'm so glad you all are as excited as I am.

Now you're all probably wondering, "Where is Ryder?" Well, you will get the answer to that question now. Enjoy!

Ryder's POV:

I stood over a table overlooking blueprints with a group of construction managers surrounding me. I was currently talking with Eric, who was working on the vehicle depot and vehicle launch area

"I need this here bigger; I need to be able to fit the Air Patroller in here so that it can launch without hitting the top of the launch tunnel"

"My team will work on that part, the tunnel and hanger" Eric stated grabbing the edited blueprints from the table and giving it a lookover.

"I have people from the Navy coming by the end of the week to install a launch track system", I stated, "it needs to be ready by then" I instructed

"It will be Ryder. We have already started to build up, we created the runway as per your specifications" He said.

"Good, thank you Eric, you are dismissed" I said shaking his hand

Anything for the Paw Patrol" he said and turned around and started walking away "HEY! What do you think you're doing with that!" He suddenly screamed "I told you that…" he started to scream at a distant table of his workers. I didn't catch the rest of what he said but it caused everyone at that table to laugh.

I pulled a copy of the vehicle depot blueprint and placed it under a few others. I grabbed the next blueprint for a different project. I looked at one of the other construction managers for that part of the project.

"Jack, how is the main area coming along?" I inquired looking at the construction manager directly in front of me.

"We are on schedule Ryder. We still need to get the window installed in the recreation area and living area before we can get the furniture in. We have started to install the consoles in the monitoring center and the command center." Jack said

"What about the communication center?" I asked

"We have the consoles installed and we are getting electronics installed. We are going to be testing it tomorrow hopefully." Jack said

"Good, we need to get all of that done soon. Thanks Jack, you're dismissed" I said shaking his hand.

"My pleasure Ryder" he then went up one staircase nearby. I shuffled to the next blueprint paper.

"Ryan, how is the new Training facility coming?" I asked the manager to my left

"There was a delay on some materials for the high-rise structure. That has been set back. The fire training area is ahead of schedule, we are almost completed with it. The auto training facility is on schedule, simulation equipment is en route and those will be installed promptly once they arrive. So overall we are on schedule to finish. The high-rise training area will be finished about a week late or right on time depending on when the materials arrive" Ryan reported

"I'll check on that delivery, it should not have been delayed. Thanks Ryan, you're dismissed" I instructed shaking his hand

Ryan smiled, "Not a problem, it's an honor to help with this project"

"RYAN, GET OVER HERE!" Someone called sounding slightly uneasy

"What did you do now?!" Ryan shouted disgruntled running off to his guys

I shuffled to the next blueprint and looked to the manager to my left who was next to Ryan.

"Alright Mike, how are the high-speed elevators coming along?" I asked

"Going good Ryder, we have one fully operational, we tested it yesterday. Both the high-speed and regular-speed settings work. There are no current obstructions, and the guide rails are up to code as well as the elevator tubes. I have two teams working on the other ones. The tubes are almost completed on both, the next shipment will have our pieces to make the elevator platforms themselves as well as the cables and guide rails. We are going ahead of schedule." Make reported

"Awesome, keep up the good work, you're dismissed," I said shaking his hand

"Our pleasure, thank you for the opportunity to build this marvel" Mike said and then used the stairs to get to his group.

I shifted to the next Blueprint. "James, how is the aquatic center coming along down there?" I said to the manager just off to the right of me who stood to the left of where Jack once was.

"On schedule Ryder, we are building to your specifications of the new Aircraft Carrier HQ that we just finished and the launch tubes for the Immediate Rescue Vehicles or IRV's are on schedule. We are having our final docks installed today and then we can move onto electronic consoles and equipment installations." James reported, "Once we are finished you will be able to fit both the Sea Patroller and the Aircraft Carrier HQ in the dock area underneath the structure." He added

"Good work, keep it up James, you're dismissed" I said shaking his hand

"My pleasure Ryder, you saved my family so I'm more than happy to help" he said and used the stairs behind me to get downstairs.

"Nick, how is the tech development area coming along?" I asked the last manager at the table

"The experimental technology development center is moving ahead of schedule. The weapons and rescue upgrade division space is complete and good to go. The vehicular development division section is on schedule; the land, air, and aquatic sections included. The base upgrade division is ahead of schedule as you have been helping a lot with that Ryder." Nick reported

"Glad to hear it. Keep up the great work. You are dismissed" I said shaking his hand

"Not a problem, getting to see and even create the newest technology with you is a privilege and an honor, anything for the Paw Patrol" Nick said and went to his area across the hanger.

Just then as I put the blueprints away, Eric walked up to me. I looked up as he approached,

"Ryder, we are ready to put the rotating floor in the hanger, would you want to help with that?"

I smiled, "Sounds like fun". I followed him readjusting my hard hat. We looked down the launch tunnel and saw two crawler cranes carrying this huge circular slab. Its circumference is the size of a football field in every direction. It's like someone took a football field and spun it to create a circle. It is big enough to hold up to 6 different vehicles on it. The Air Patroller, the Paw Patroller, and the Mighty Jet could fit on here with plenty of space around each.

"Alright, grab the guide wires, we only have one chance to get this on the rotating motor in the center!" Eric called out to the whole team. Then about 20 people, including myself, ran towards the giant circular disk and grabbed a wire that was hanging off the top of it.

"We must hold it steady as they get it into place, Greg is going to tell us when it is in place over the center. As it goes down, it's our job to keep it center!" Eric instructed the whole group.

Keeping the wires tight, we walked with the cranes and after about 10 minutes, Greg called that we were in place. As the cranes lowered the circular disk into its slot in the ground, I pulled on the chord to help keep it stable. Suddenly it tilted and started to sway.

"Watch Your Heads! Get It Under Control!" Eric yelled

I looked over to my right and saw that the disk dipped low and was swinging toward one of Eric's men

"Let Go of The Rope!" I screamed at him

"I Got It!" He yelled back but was too focused to see it coming at him.

I let go of mine and rushed him. I leaped at him and tackled him to the ground just as the disk flew right over us with a foot to spare as I laid on top of him as a shield. I stayed on top of him until the rest of the crew got the disk under control.

I got up and helped him up, "Next time someone yells at you to get out of the way, just do it. You might not always know what is about to happen but it's better to be safe and sorry rather than dead." I said to the guy

"Yes Ryder, Sorry Ryder, thank you for saving me" the man said gratefully.

"It's not a problem, it's my job to save others. And as I always say, if you ever need rescuing, just yelp for help." I spoke the creed of the Paw Patrol

The guy nodded and we both grabbed our cables, and we slowly lowered the giant circular slab into place. Once it settled into its spot, the cables were detached and everyone cleared the area, except myself. I looked over at the technical officer and nodded. He pressed a button and there was a shifting sound and then I watched as the floor started to rotate. I watched for a moment and then stepped on it. I heard some people gasp but I continued walking across it and I ended up on the other side beside Eric.

"It's perfect Eric," I said to him as it stopped in front of him. I turned and started walking towards the middle, "the carousel works perfectly. Well done all of you!" I announced and everyone started clapping.

"Ryder!" Someone called over the clapping. The men stopped clapping, parted, and standing there was Katie.

The carousel started slowly going so I stepped on it and as it spun, I was slowly rotated and got off right in front of Katie.

"What do you think of that?" I asked her

"That is cool babe" she said "By the way, dinner is almost ready" she announced

I looked at my clock and it was already 5 pm. I then turned around "Alright everyone, it's quitting time for the day!" Everyone finished up what they were doing and cleaned up their spaces before heading to the workmen's barracks. I then walked over to the PA system and made the same announcement.

I then followed Katie up to the main area where the living space, kitchen, and rooms were located.

"So, what do you think of this new base for us?" I asked Katie as we walked up the stairs

"It is amazing. There is one thing that I do not like though" Katie said

"What is it?" I asked

"You will be so far away from Adventure Bay" Katie said scornfully "I'll never get to see you as much as I want to" she added

"I'd only be an hour's boat trip away, besides, if there are any minor emergencies the emergency departments are now strong enough to do our jobs. I have had Zuma training an entire Coast Guard dedicated to Adventure Beach, Skye has been training an aerial rescue group, Rocky has been working and training specialized technicians and mechanics with the help of his family, and Rubble is training specialized construction crews with the help of his construction family from nearby Builder's cove. All these specialized crews can help with all kinds of emergencies and problems that normally the pups and I would handle." I reassured her.

Katie still looked uneasy "Like I said to you when we got here on Friday, if you want to move here with us, you are more than welcome to" I said to her.

She only sighed but then looked up "Have you told the pups yet?"

"No, I will not be telling them until after the wedding. We will be moved here permanently in a month from then. There are still projects that I have in the works that are almost complete. New vehicles, new equipment, even new team members worldwide, and a new name for this organization. This place will be the HQ of it all, a worldwide rescue organization." I spoke waving my hands in a banner motion as I saw my vision of this dream

"I'm so proud of you Ryder, you and the pups are amazing. I can't wait for you to show the rest of the world what the Paw Patrol can do" Katie said giving me a kiss

"Thanks Katie" I said returning a kiss on her forehead. We then sat down to have dinner. Katie made an Italian dinner featuring asiago tortellini with Chicken with a three-cheese sauce and gnocchi soup.

After the Italian dinner, we decided to watch the movie "Top Gun" on our 90-inch screen monitor/TV with theater-quality surround sound. After the movie, we went to bed as we were heading back to Adventure Bay the next day.

I can't believe this... A giant new base! New equipment and vehicles! New members! A new team name! The Paw Patrol is upgrading big time! Super exciting!

So many exciting things happening for the Paw Patrol, will the excitement last? You will have to come back and find out as the story continues.

I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter, I've been working on lots of new concepts for the Paw Patrol and I think you will all enjoy them once I show them off. But I cannot reveal them yet, that will come later.
