No One's POV:
Connor, his little sister Emily, and their red lab Scout finally arrived in Philippians Bay. There they got into town and made their way to the docks where they had boats that would go to different countries. Connor looked at the schedule and saw that one ship had a route that went to Adventure Bay. He knew that name because the Paw Patrol saved his family when Barkingburg went up into the air, literally. The Duke of Flappington took over Barkingburg by raising the houses into the air and left them there. He saw the pups in their jets take on the bad duke and win sadly bringing the houses down to safety.
Connor rushed back to the group, "I found a ship that will be going to Adventure Bay, we need to be on that boat" Connor stated
"Why?" Scout and Emily asked
"Because that is where the Paw Patrol is based. They have helped out Barkingburg before and I know that they will help us." Connor insisted
Emily tilted her head "Who are the Paw Patrol?" Connor suddenly realizes that Emily was a baby when that happened and does not remember it.
"They are a rescue group who have saved our family and our hometown once" Connor said
"You mean that group who rescued Barkingburg when the Duke of Flappington tried to take over" Scout said tail wagging
"That them, Scout" Connor said
"That sounds like a great plan Connor, but we have no money for tickets" Scout stated bluntly
"Good point bud" Connor said and looked at the boat that was to go to Adventure Bay, then an idea came to him.
"Well then we just sneak aboard" Connor said
"But Connor, that is wrong" Emily said knowingly putting on a pout and crossing her arms
"It is either that or we go back and live as prisoners. If we go to the police, they won't believe us and if they did, it would take way too long. If you have a better plan then let's hear it?" Connor demanded
Both Emily and Scout did not say a word and just looked down in defeat. "I thought as much," Connor sighed heavily, "Look, I don't like this idea either but what choice do we have" Connor stated
"Now, are you both ready?" Connor asked, after a moment's hesitation Emily and Scout nodded.
"Alright follow me Scout, Em I'm going to carry you" Connor instructed, and Emily nodded as Connor picked her up.
From the bench that they sat on. Connor looked around and saw a family of 6 walk up to the ticket booth to purchase tickets. Connor, Emily, and Scout blended in. They sneaked in behind the parents, past the guards, and stayed by them until they got onto the pier.
"Wait who are you three?"
Connor looked up to see that the woman noticed them. She knelt beside them with a curious lookat Connor.
"Where are your parents' sweetie?" She asked kindly
"You would not believe me if I told you the truth"
The woman got on one knee and got eye level with Connor, "try me" she said with a determined glean
Connor shifted nervously and scratched his head "Well... you see..."
"We are from Barkingburg, the city has been taken over by an evil person and they captured the whole city. They took our parents away, but we were able to escape. We are trying to get to Adventure Bay to get the Paw Patrol to help since they have saved Barkingburg a few times in the past" Emily blurted out the truth.
Connor and Scout stood there, mouths hanging open in shock and the woman was wide-eyed. Suddenly she stood up, "Wait here for a second, I'll be back" and she walked off
Connor glanced at his little sister great, now that woman is going to get the police, I knew she wouldn't believe us. now we might wind up as foster children. He though as his thoughts continued to run wild with fear
A moment later she returned with a man who she said was her husband. The man took a knee in front of Connor.
"What are your names?" The man asked in a very serious tone
"I'm Connor, this is my little sister Emily, and our dog Scout" Connor said introducing his family
"Nice to meet you three, my name is Dean. I happen to work for the military, I'm on my way to meet with other commanders of our nation's military in Adventure Bay. A report came in stating that something bad happened here in the country, and I bet it is what you just said to my wife" he said gesturing to the woman "so, I'll take you three to Adventure Bay to get the paw patrol" he said
"Really?" I asked and he just nodded.
The three smiled as Dean, his wife, and children, including Connor, Emily, and Scout all boarded the ship to Adventure Bay
The trip took a couple of days. Emily and Connor's wounds from their trek were checked and mended by Dean's wife, Carole, who happened to be a nurse for the military. Emily got to play with Dean and Carole's children, but Connor was a bit apprehensive. But one day, One of Dean and Carole's sons, John, who was 15 taught Connor some karate. That way he was able to defend himself and Emily, then he opened up to the family.
After 3 days of travel, the ship pulled into Adventure Bay's new port near Adventure Beach, called Adventure Bay Port.
"Alright Connor, Emily, and Scout, this is where we will part ways for now. I will be going to meet with the other commanders. However, my eldest, John, will be escorting you to the Lookout tower." Dean said
Connor, Emily, and Scout smiled and nodded. Dean then stood up and looked at his son, "You know the way John. Keep them safe; here is the address of the hotel we are going to be at. Take them straight to the lookout and then come back to the hotel. On the back is our room number, please be safe yourself." Dean instructed
"Yes sir, I won't let out down" John said with a curt but respectful nod
Dean smiled "You never do bud" giving him a hug
Then he looked down at Connor, who gave him a card, "If you kids ever need help, or if the Paw Patrol needs our help, give Ryder this and he can call me, or you guys can. It was a pleasure to meet you three. If I get a chance to meet your parents, I will give nothing but praise about you three." Dean said with a smile
"Please take care you three, I don't want you to get hurt anymore," Carole said "You are such great kids, I can't believe this is happening to you" she added.
"Thank you, all of you, for taking us in and getting us here. We owe you our lives and we are forever in your debt" Connor said
"No need, now go get the Paw Patrol," Dean said "Look after them John" he added looking at his son who nodded.
Connor, Emily, Scout, and John then made their way from Adventure Bay Port towards the lookout.

Chase's POV:
Today was the day that Ryder was scheduled to return. I sat at the edge of the lawn overlooking the cliff that was behind the Lookout. I watched the horizon for a glimpse of the Air Patroller. After watching and waiting for what seemed like forever I saw its shape appear and I smiled. I quickly ran inside the lookout and retrieved everyone else. Once we got back outside, the Air Patroller was on its final approach to the landing pad a couple of miles out. Once it was about a mile out the landing pad emerged out of the ground, and we watched as it landed. The other pups, Jake, Cali, and I all waited by the base of the lookout as it landed, blasting air right at us.
After the turbines stopped, the ramp lowered, and out walked Ryder and Katie.
"Welcome back you two" Jake greeted them as they both walked up, and he shook hands with Ryder. At the same time, Cali ran to Katie and jumped up into her arms.
Katie caught her and gave a surprised gasp "Well, hello to you too Cali" and gave her a scratch behind the ears.
"Hey Jake, hey pups!" Ryder greeted everyone
"Ryder! We all cheered and rushed him. Then Rubble jumped and tackled him, and we all rushed over and licked his face causing him to laugh
"I'm happy to see all of you as well!" He said laughing and sitting up. As he sat up we all stopped licking his face and sat beside him.
"How was your trip Ryder, sir?" I asked
"Pretty boring actually, lots of meetings" Ryder said rolling his eyes and we all laughed. Except Katie who gave Ryder a look and he smiled sympathetically to her.
What was that for I wondered She must know something… I looked over at Ryder who was answering a question from Rubble, I felt as though there was more to his trip besides meetings, but what?
"We had great food Rubble, most of what we ate, we made ourselves" Ryder said standing up
"Wait, Ryder, you cook?" Rubble joked in surprise
"No, I did all the cooking, his cooking would have killed us" Katie jested behind him, and everyone laughed
"I'm a pretty good cook" Ryder said defensively
Katie smiled "I was just kidding love"
"I know babe" Ryder said
Then Skye walked up to Ryder and whispered something Into Ryder's ear, Ryder then shook his head.
"Alright, pups, go play. we've got to unpack" Ryder said
Then as the other pups went to play, he nodded to Skye, and she nodded to me
Wait, What, Right Now!? I thought and gave Skye a look and she nodded.
I gasped inwardly and rushed to my pup house and grabbed a small case. Then I rushed back, and as I came up I saw Skye and Everest talking to Katie. The perfect distraction I thought as I ran into the Air Patroller and gave the case to Ryder. Marshall was brushing off Ryder's pants to make them look good.
"How do I look bud" Ryder asked
"Fantastic sir" I said
"Like a million bucks Ryder" Marshall said
"Thanks for the help boys" Ryder said
"Well, you did help us" Chase said
"It was the least we could do you" Marshall said
"I'm nervous," Ryder said
"You'll do great Ryder, just don't think" Marshall said
"All you have to do is ask" Chase said with a smile.
Just then I heard someone walking up the ramp and it was Katie. Marshall and I looked at each other and nodded
"Come on Marshall, let's go play with the others" I said
"I hope it's freeze tag" Marshall said, and we ran out of the Air Patroller. Once outside we both found our girls and sat next to them.
"Does she have any idea?" I asked the girls
"Not a clue" Everest said
"Perfect" Marshall said
"How long do you think this will take?" Skye asked
Then as if on cue there was a cry of joy that came from the Air Patroller, and I saw the other pups come running over.
"About that long" I said and the four of us got up and walked over to the Air Patroller.
Just then Ryder and Katie walked down with huge grins on their faces.
"Ryder, Katie. What happened?" Zuma asked as the other pups, Cali, and Jake all came to the Air Patroller to see what had happened.
Katie looked at Ryder and he nodded. Then she showed the ring, "Ryder just proposed to me" Katie said
"And she said yes" Ryder exclaimed, and everyone cheered.
"When is the wedding?" Rubble asked
"I thought we'd do it after the double wedding, like the weekend after" Ryder said looking at Everest, Marshall, Skye, and myself.
"Wait, you four must have been in on this" Katie realized suddenly
"Guilty as charged" Everest said
"We had to distract you while we got Ryder the ring" Skye said
"Which is why I ran off so fast, I was hiding it in my pup house" I said
"I had to bring the flowers and help Ryder look presentable inside the Air Patroller" Marshall said
"Thank you Pups!" Katie said
"You two did help with our proposals, so it was only fitting that we help Ryder with his" I said
"In honor of tonight, we will have a feast to celebrate" Ryder announced
Everyone cheered, "Ryder"
We all looked at Jake who was smiling "Neither you nor Katie are cooking tonight. I will do it, I Just got off the phone with Mr. Porter, and he is helping me as well. Also, I let Mayor Goodway know about the news, she insisted that the fest will be held at city hall. She wants to hold a triple wedding bash in honor of all three of your upcoming weddings" Jake said gesturing to Ryder and Katie, Skye and I, and Marshall and Everest.
"Jake you are the best," Katie said
"Indeed, thank You Jake" Ryder added
"Not a problem, it's the least I can do for the Paw Patrol" Jake said
At that point, everyone had started to make their way into the lookout. I, however, stayed outside for a moment and enjoyed the quiet. Suddenly I felt someone brushing against my side.
"Babe, what are you doing out here, everyone went inside" Skye said
"I just wanted to enjoy the great weather for a moment more"
"Then I'll wait out here with you," Skye said "I'm so happy for Ryder and Katie, now that they are old enough to get married" she added a moment later
"Yeah, they had their ups and downs in dating. I still remember a few of their breakups" I said
"I think the first one was the worst one" I said "Almost destroyed Ryder" I added
"I think the second one was by far the worst" Skye said "Heck, I almost killed Ryder myself" she said laughing
"The third was the shortest" Skye added
"I remember that was just a really big misunderstanding" We stared at each other in silence for a moment looking at each other and fell over laughing. "The funniest reason though," I said calming down.
"Relationships are tough" Skye said knowingly
"Yep, but worth it" I agreed then we just looked out over the bay as it shimmered in the midday sun.
After a few minutes of us just sitting there, I heard some footsteps coming up the lookout driveway.
"Skye…" I said she turned to me, "We have visitors" I said gesturing to the lookout driveway. We both got up and ran to the front of the Lookout.
When we got to the front, three kids and a pup were walking up the driveway. They looked tired and dirty, one looked to be a teenager, the other two were much younger and the boy seemed to be carrying the younger girl. The pup was a red lab who walked with his head high, but his eyes showed his tiredness.
"Hello there, I'm Chase, and this is Skye, we are both part of the Paw Patrol. What can we do for you?" I introduced us to the newcomers.
"Well actually, I'm just delivering these three to you, they are the ones who need your help" the young teen said gesturing to the two children and pup with him.
"What can the Paw Patrol do for you?" Skye asked the children
Just then the younger boy stepped forward "It's not just us, it's Barkingburg that needs your help" the boy said "Barkingburg has fallen" the boy added.
Oh My Gosh! Ryder and Katie are now engaged! It's a tri-wedding event! They went through a lot in their relationship, but what exactly? Will the tri-wedding be ruined by this revelation that Barkingburg has fallen? What will the Paw Patrol do now? I guess you'll have to come back and find out what happens next.
So many exciting things happening in this chapter, Ryder and Katie are engaged... Finally! Now we have a triple wedding event, Super exciting. However, how will it play out now that the Paw Patrol is made aware of this dire situation in Barkingburg? All of this and more to be answered in the upcoming chapters.
