It was early the next morning when Alice had another vision. She started sketching almost immediately. I heard the bedroom door open and Bella walked into the room. Bella shuffled over to Jasper's side to see it. "Did she see something more?" Bella asked, watching as Alice sketched.

"Yes." Jasper replies. "Something's brought him back to the room with the VCR, but it's light now." I watched with rapt attention as Alice drew. It was a square room with dark panelled wood on the wall. The room seemed to have a patterned carpet and a massive window against the south wall and on the west side leading into the lounge room. There was a large tan stone fireplace that allowed both rooms to get heat. However, the focus of the picture was the tv sitting on a too-small tv-stand alongside the VCR.

"The phone goes there." Bella muttered, pointing to a part on the picture. My eyes snapped up to Bella.

"You know where this is?" I questioned.

"That's my mother's house. I thought you would recognise it."

"I only added myself into your memories." I explained gently. "I never went to any place you had been before we came to Forks." Bella nodded slowly as Alice lept off the couch and started dialling a number. I stepped closer to Bella, pressing a kiss to her temple.

"Bella." Alice called, prompting Bella to turn to her slowly. "Bella, Edward is coming to get you, He and Emmett and Carlisle are going to take you somewhere, to hide for a while."

"Edward is coming?" Bella asked hopefully.

"Yes, he's catching the first flight out of Seattle. We'll meet him at the airport and you'll leave with him, Alex will be going too." I nodded.

"But, my mother!" Bella protested. "He came here for my mother, Alice!"

"Jasper and I will stay 'till she's safe."

"I can't win, Alice. You can't guard everyone I know forever. Don't you see what he's doing? He's not tracking me at all. He'll find someone, he'll hurt someone I love, Alice, I can't-"

"We'll catch him, Bella." Alice assured softly.

"And what if you get hurt, Alice? Do you think that's ok with me? Do you think it's only my human family he can hurt me with?" I felt a wave of lethargy pass by me and I saw her droop. She forced her eyes open and stood, stepping away from Jasper. "I don't want to go back to sleep!" She snapped. She turned on her heel and stormed back into her room, almost slamming the door. I sighed.

"Bella's always cared for others." I explained softly. "She doesn't want to see us hurt." Jasper and Alice shared a look. The three of us sat in silence until the phone rang again. I looked up at Alice as she talked rapidly and Bella shuffled into the room.

"They're just boarding their plane." Alice said, turning to Bella and setting the phone on the couch. "They'll land at nine-forty-five."

"Where's Jasper?" Bella asked.

"He went to check out."

"You aren't staying here?"

"No, we're relocating closer to your mother's house." The phone then started to ring. I picked it up and answered.

"Bella? Bella!" Renée's voice sounded.

"Mum." I sighed, my American accent returning. "Are you ok?"

"Bella!" My eye twitched, offering the phone to my sister.

"It's Renée." I told her, dropping the accent. "She wants to talk to you." Bella took the phone and started talking to Renée, walking away from us. Bella paused, said something and then walked into the bedroom and closed the door. Alice and I shared worried glances as we waited for Bella. We didn't listen in to the conversation, but Alice left to talk to Jasper after a minute. Bella walked back in, a blank expression on her face. "Is everything ok?"

"Mum was worried." Bella told me lowly. "She wanted to come home. But it's ok, I convinced her to stay away."

"You know Jasper and Alice will look after her." I assured her. Bella was silent for a second.

"Lexie, if I were to write a letter for mum, would you get Alice to give it to her? Leave it at the house, I mean."

"Sure." I said with a nod. "I'll get it to her."

"Thank you." Bella took the hotel stationery and entered the bedroom, closing the door once more. I pressed my lips together, worried for my sister.
