For 9 years since it took this long for Ladybug and Cat Noir to defeat Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth/Monarch. But now there's a new Hawk Moth villain and we know its Lila/Cerise. She's very cunning and not easy to find her through disguises. The only problem is that it would take another 9 or 10 years in their world to stop her. Which is why I remember watching the old Scooby Doo shows and movies as a kid to today, it inspired me if the Mystery Inc can solve this mystery and unmask the villain with Ladybug and Cat Noir. When it comes to Mystery Inc, it takes them days to solve this mystery. Ladybug took months or way too long until Felix and Kagami provided information with a play to see the truth.
But there is common features in a crossover. Ladybug has leadership like Fred, fashion like Daphne, and brains like Velma. Cat Noir is a bit like Shaggy and Scooby when it comes to being the bait or the one to do the hard work to stopping the culprits. But never to get chased by monsters which is what Shaggy and Scooby would do like all the time when they get scared but not for Cat Noir.

It was only a month ago that Chronobug and Bunnix saved the timeline from that mysterious akumatized thief, also known as the new Hawk Moth. Everything has calmed down ever since Ladybug announced the defeat of Monarch and the heroic sacrifice of Gabriel Agreste.
The bad news is that there was another akumatized victim that happened 3 days ago and it was like an Olympic athlete who was upset at now allowing herself to run on track when she has prosthetic legs. It became a new beginning for Paris to face a new villain than the former one. Both Ladybug and Cat Noir were baffled that someone got the butterfly brooch. Ladybug told her kitty it was lost but it was half a lie when it was actually fallen in the water of the underground crypt but she never found it as Aquabug. Fortunately, Cat Noir bought the half-lie.
The good news is that the peacock miraculous has been recovered but it was Felix, Adrien's cousin, who managed to steal it but at the cost of betraying Ladybug. Eventually, he is redeemed since he's not the enemy anymore. But with the new butterfly holder, they have to fight the new akumas.
Tonight was the concert of the Hex Girls showing outside of Notre Dame. Ever since Jagged Stone retired from his rock star career, someone has to put on a rock show. Juleka was a big fan of their concerts and their songs. She begged her brother Luka and fans to come to the concert to see the Hex Girls for the first time.
"This is catchy, Adrien," Marinette said.
"Juleka wasn't kidding that these Hex Girls got great taste in rock music," Adrien said.
"Yeah, they do" Marinette agreed with her boyfriend.

Marinette couldn't help but dance a little to the tune. Adrien noticed this of course. After the concert, it was autographs and Juleka wanted one so badly due to getting giddy with it. She stood in line to the lead singer, Thorn.
"Thorn, Dusk, Luna. Big fan!" Juleka said.
"Greetings. What's your name?" Thorn asked.
"Juleka. First time meeting you three face to face" Juleka hands the photo of Thorn to her for an autograph.
Thorn signs it down, "Here you go, Juleka"
"Thank you so much," Juleka said.
Suddenly, smoke formed around like fog and it blinded everyone around the area near Notre Dame.
"What in the blazes?!" Juleka coughed.
"What's happening?!" Marinette screamed.
"I don't know. It doesn't smell like fire" Adrien said.
A familiar evil laugh sounded like Monarch while the other like the moan of a ghost.
"It can't be!" Felix nearby heard the laugh.
"It's impossible!" Kagami saw the shapes appear.
"Yes, it is I, Monarch! I come back from beyond the grave to haunt you all! My plan to enslave all humanity may have failed but death cannot be defeated this time, Ladybug!" The ghost of Monarch cackled.
"Adrien! Where are you?! I am back to be your father again! This time, I won't let you ever go back to that school again!" The ghost of Gabriel said aggressively.
"Impossible!" Adrien shook in fear.
"Adrien, look away!" Marinette hugged him.
"It's too real to believe it!" Adrien screamed.
"Let's get out of here!" Felix and Kagami ran with them and the others.
"You will all suffer from my haunting upon you all!" Ghost Monarch laughed before the smoke made him and the ghost of Gabriel vanish.
As everything was calm before the smoke vanished away, everyone looked at each other in disbelief, "Paris is now a haunted city" Adrien said.
"Is everyone okay?" Alya asked.
"That is getting way too old again. Everywhere we go, it always keeps happening" Thorn said, coming out from underneath the table.
"Creepy. But no wires or holograms I've seen" Dusk said.
"You mean you faced ghosts before?" Luka asked.
"Nope, but we did once years ago. Girls, I think we know who to call for the job of solving a mystery" Thorn said.
"Oh, boy! Aaaahhh! This is finally happening! Please tell me that I think it is!" Alya getting giddy about this.
"Yes, the Mystery Inc" Thorn replied.
"The who?" Marinette asked.
"They always call them meddling kids whenever they unmask phony ghouls and monsters for years. They even have their Great Dane as their mascot" Alya explained who they are, "You gotta call them here! This is a big scoop for my blog!" Alya begged the Hex Girls to call them.
"Uhhh….sure. No biggie" Luna said awkwardly.
"Meddling kids and a dog? I never heard of them in my life. Are they like supernatural hunters?" Marinette asked.
"They are mystery solvers, Marinette. They solve mysteries like detectives. I've seen them on their show as a kid" Adrien said.
"Excuse us for a moment please" Marinette drags Alya for a private talk, "Paris has Ladybug and Cat Noir for the job, plus our teammates. What if it's another Akuma again?"
"Girl, do you know how long it took for you to find Monarch and the stolen miraculous?" Alya said.
"Took me months," Marinette said.
"For the Mystery Inc., only days," Alya said.
"What's your point?" Marinette asked.
"My point is that we don't want to go into another Akuma era again. Don't you want to have your romantic moment with Adrien in a peaceful moment without any Akumas ruining everything again? Remember what happened when Gabriel forced Adrien to be sent to London and it broke your heart?" Alya explains what could happen without giving the mystery solvers a chance to help.
"Yes. They need to figure out how the two returned as ghosts" Marinette said.
"What if it's not ghosts? There's no such thing as ghosts" Alya said.
"This is new, Alya. We've never faced ghosts before" Marinette said.
"Troublemaker was a bit like a ghost before but that still doesn't count as undead like a ghost. I think you should let the professional mystery solvers team up with Ladybug and Cat Noir for their first time with superheroes. Plus, you don't want Adrien to go through another grief loss of his father again. He worked so hard to recover" Alya said, knowing how Adrien suffered from grief.
"No kidding. But we're there for him" Marinette said.
As soon as Marinette made that decision, they let the Hex Girls make the call for Mystery Inc. to come to Paris. Knowing one of the two is always afraid of ghosts and monsters, the leader of the group will have to make a lie to the two about all-you-can-eat to get them to come. They hope they can solve how the ghosts of Monarch and Gabriel appeared.

A while later at the mansion, Adrien was in a little shock to believe whether or not the ghosts were real. Thinking about the ghost of his father only brings more grief like before and he worked so hard through 7 stages of grief. He cannot go through that again.
"Cuz, Breathe. Remember from yoga class last week with Marinette" Felix said while his kwami Duusu was simply resting.
"It really feels like our city's haunted" Adrien said.
"Everyone knows ghosts aren't real. Someone's pulling a very cruel prank on us" Felix said.
"Actually, ghosts can be real through cameras and photo captures. And if it was a cruel prank, it's not funny. Unless you created a sentimonster out of humor manifestation" Adrien glared at how much his cousin likes to cause mischief.
"No, I can't make ghosts, and besides I was with you in the crowd when they appeared," Felix said.
"Right, then it's someone who does dirty tricks to get back at me. It can't be Chloe since she's banished" Adrien said.
"Chloe is not very smart at all. Thank god she's exiled because I can't stand her bratty attitude tormenting everyone. Now go to sleep. Tomorrow you should feel better" Felix said before heading to his room.
"Okay," Adrien agreed.

With Marinette, she was in the same apartment Master Fu used to live in but now it belongs to the celestial guardian Su Han where he can train Luka, Jagged Stone, and Penny to practice the miracu-kung fu.
"What do you think it could be? Ghosts are something new here in Paris" Marinette said.
"My people have faced spirits from within elements and nature. But never ghosts from haunted places to bring evil" Su Han said.
"Yes, but these are two of the same person," Marinette said.
"Someone wants revenge on you or Paris. Revenge can do bad karma to anyone. Even when all the grain of rice is left with one" Su Han said.
"I have a bad feeling of who" Marinette figured only one had a great grudge against her. But there was another who despised her for never giving her the bee miraculous back.
"It cannot be Chloe since she's exiled. No one's ever seen Lila Rossi since she disappeared after the exposure" She figured.
"That's strange," Su Han said.
"And Monarch is dead, in the afterlife," Marinette said.
"Whatever you can do, but I must warn you, this new Hawk Moth could be anyone. Never get distracted again like last time. Every person and being has a weakness and if an enemy takes advantage of your weakness, it will bring more chaos" Su Han said.
"I learned my lesson the hard way. To ensure it won't happen again. Every holder keeps their miraculous" Marinette said.
"One of them is in the hands of a menace. Nooro is the youngest and Monarch kept him on a tight leash for who knows how long. The new one will be no different" Su Han said.
"I've struggled lately to keep the timeline from being destroyed by the mystery akuma that traveled through time" Marinette explained the exhaustion she went through as Chronobug.
"Yes. Clever and cunning. If I were you, fight fire with fire" Su Han said.
"Yes, to protect my identity I switched my name with the late Gabriel Agreste's name," Marinette said.
"That's a first step but outsmarting can be tricky to do. I suggest you take advice from those witch band girls they mentioned about" Su Han said.
"Yes, Master" Marinette nodded.

In Spain, a familiar-looking van was driving past the cattle and on their way to the direction of Paris. They solved the mystery once again of a terrifying Man-Bull monster and unmasked it. The culprit wanted to protect his cattle from becoming livestock. A certain great dane was in the back seat with his owner, talking about the monster.
"Like, how many times did he react to the red blanket to, like, distract him?" Shaggy asked Scooby.
"Rany rimes," Scooby said.
"Guys, bulls are colorblind. Red doesn't get them angry" Velma explained it them before.
"Like, easy for you to say. Like, one time, Scoob and I were baits for Fred's trap to capture the Man Bull" Shaggy reminded them.
"Reah" Scooby agreed.
"Right now, it's time to head to Paris where the Hex Girls are performing. We all need a break from mystery solving and a good fashion shopping" Daphne said.
"And best of all, all-you-can-eat Parisian food. The best bakery became so famous. Right, Scoob old buddy old pal?" Shaggy said, bringing out the leftover food from Spain he kept.
"Mmmhmm!" Scooby smiled.
"And that's not what Paris has. They have the famous teenage superheroes. Ever since we got victimized with those rings, Ladybug saved the entire world" Fred said, getting giddy with the famous superhero.
"And then the rings got all recalled. I kinda loved that technology but too bad we go back to the current ones everyone uses" Velma said.
"Oh, boy. It was scary to see billions of people invaded by that maniac villain from Paris to turn us all into slaves!" Shaggy clings to Scooby in fear.
"Until his defeat and demise," Velma said.
"Rave you forgotten? There's a new rillain in Raris" Scooby reminded them.
"Yes, she akumatized this prosthetic Olympic player not long ago. The threat is far from over" Velma said.
"Let's hope there's no Akuma to ruin the day in Paris," Fred said while stepping on the gas, passing by the mile sign of Paris.
"I wouldn't dream if any of us became akumatized," Daphne said.
"And let's hope we don't," Velma said.
"I heard they serve the best macaroons there," Shaggy said.
"Yeah, best macaroons!" Scooby slurping his tongue.
"Easy boys" Velma chuckled.
