Fred, Velma, and Daphne were talking with the Hex Girls at the Grand Hotel, wondering if there was anyone they suspected to have a grudge against Ladybug and Cat Noir and the concert the other night.
"Everyone knows that before her exile, Chloe was among those who hated Ladybug the most. But this former model Lila who just disappeared" Dusk said.
"Cat Noir did say that Lila tricked him from helping Ladybug, indicating she wants Ladybug dead," Velma said.
"So cruel of this girl," Daphne said.
"Yeah. And of course, she got expelled from school to incriminate an innocent bakery girl but failed when she got exposed for who she truly is. It says so on the news a few months ago and I guess that's why Lila vanished to hide from Paris. Almost as if she either changed her look or went into hiding to come back for revenge" Thorn guessed her theory.
"Maybe that's why Gabriel fired her. Ever since he replaced her with the daughter of the Japanese woman who works with him, he didn't explain why" Dusk said.
"Secrets go in the grave but we found these in Lila's locker" Velma held up an evidence bag with the green contacts.
"Weird. She never mentioned that. She once said she was a movie star in Hollywood but we checked on the media and found nothing about her. It could be a false rumor" Thorn said, unaware that Lila was a liar.
"No movies and no TV shows with her," Luna said.
"Ladybug mentioned she's a pathological liar. That can't be good at all" Velma said.
"No, it can completely destroy the lives of others and herself. We've seen a few fans make a lie about us on social media and it doesn't end well for them" Thorn said.
"The authorities looked everywhere but they gave up the search. So far, nothing" Luna said.
"It sounds like she got kidnapped," Shaggy said.
"Or captured," Scooby said.
"She's our first suspect but we can't assume she's behind this," Fred said.
"So far we got the lenses and some strange dust from the concert," Daphne said.
"Yet these clues get more complicated," Velma said.
The waitress with a black hair bun and green eyes brought in a wheely food tray for the Hex Girls. What they don't know is that the waitress doesn't work at the hotel nor are employees.
"Here you go," The waitress said.
"Thank you" Thorn thanked her.
"I'm a huge fan of your concert. I didn't know you would be inviting the group over for a reunion or something" The waitress said with her act while keeping her anger under control.
"We invited them to solve the double ghost mystery," Luna said.
"Okay. Well, good luck" The waitress left.

With Marinette, she has no idea if Lila, Chloe, or the new Hawk Moth is causing this. There was no Akuma in sight at all when the ghosts appeared. Somehow it didn't make any sense as to why someone would use the ghosts of the same person who is dead to scare people off.
"This feels like disgrace by raising someone from the dead" Marinette said.
"Maybe a mortician, grave digger, or a eulogistic person" Alya guessed it could be an Akuma based on an obsession with the dead.
"Perhaps. But the ghosts went both for me and Cat Noir than the Mystery Inc" Marinette said.
"Someone really is out for revenge, girl. Whoever it is, that new Hawk Moth could be the one doing exactly like Monarch wanting the miraculous" Alya said.
"Yes, I fought really hard to prevent the new Hawk moth's akuma from making the wish in time," Marinette said.
"But you don't talk about it much because passing that info can cause serious consequences," Alya said.
"Yes, I can't go through it again. The timeline must be safe" Marinette said.
"Yes, or it would be unstable," Alya said.
"So far, Bunnix seems to be okay in her Burrow. Nothing to report" Marinette said.
"She can't meddle with time and you know that," Alya said.
"Yeah, I know," Marinette said.
"Marinette, I know you want to find the culprit but trust Mystery Inc. They have solved mysteries for years and no one has ever solved mysteries like them. You always find a solution to the problem and that's what I love about you, girl. Even Adrien fell in love with you because you always gave him great advice that no one could give him" Alya said.
"Thanks, Alya" Marinette smiled.
"That guy and his dog, sure they are easily scaredy cats but they are still part of Mystery Inc. And you seem to enjoy their dog treats which I find strange," Alya said, noticing she had two boxes of Scooby Snacks.
"The guy in the green shirt eats them too. They taste like biscuits" Marinette said.
"Really?" Alya picks one up and she tries it, "Hmmmm…. strange but you're right. This is made for humans too" Alya said.
"And for dogs," Marinette said.

With Adrien, even if his cousin Felix knows he's Cat Noir, Felix only finds out by sensing Adrien's amok but he made a lie that he 'accidentally' sneaked into his room when he saw him transform, without revealing he's a sentimonster or Adrien would connect the dots if he ever found out that his father was Monarch, all hell breaks loose. Therefore, Adrien couldn't outsmart him but he hopes that Felix keeps this a secret without jeopardizing him if the new Hawk Moth found out too.
"So, no signs of the ghosts yet?" Felix asked him.
"Nope, my partner and I so far know that they come for us two than the Mystery Inc," Adrien said.
"I see. Well, it's a pinky promise your identity is safe with me" Felix said.
"Good, or you'll be their target too," Adrien said.
"Yeah. And what's with these?" Felix picks up one Scooby Snack.
"These are like cookies than dog treats," Adrien said.
"And yet you still hold a grudge of that day I became Flairmidable the bad puppy," Felix said, knowing he was a bad dog before.
"Because you betrayed everyone and me" Adrien.
"I know. But let's not nag about the past" Felix then tried one Scooby snack, "Mmmm, taste like vanilla flavored biscuits"
"Aww….is Flairmidable enjoying my dog treats better than a bad treat from Shadowmoth?" Adrien making fun of him.
"Shut up!" Felix snapped, and Adrien kept quiet.
"Let me try" Duusu tries one Scooby snack.
"You know I'm right. I can see you liked it" Adrien snickered at Felix's grumpiness.
"Mmmhmm" Felix rolled his eyes.
"Hey Plagg, try it too" Duusu tossed one to Plagg.
"No thanks. I prefer my only Camembert taste" Plagg refused.
"Okay suit yourself" Duusu ate the snack.
"Say was there something off about the ghosts?" Felix asked.
"I suppose someone is trying to completely scare me and Milady until we are vulnerable. Ghosts aren't real" Adrien said.
"From stories, ghosts are restless spirits," Felix said.
"And I suppose you can't create a sentimonster ghost to haunt for fun" Adrien crossed his arms.
"No, and again I didn't make these two ghosts. Someone with connections to my uncle must have" Felix said.
"And Monarch? No one is a fan of him. Not even the new Hawk Moth which is a mystery. I don't know who's behind this but it's not cool to use dead people's ghosts as a prank" Adrien said.
"Feels like necromancy," Felix said.
"I doubt that. My father may have been insane to lock me in that prison room of an asylum in London but giving up his life was enough for me to lose another parent I went through. Twice" Adrien said, knowing what he went through was something his father never told him before he died. His father could have told him he was threatened by Monarch, Adrien could have done something to help his father but he was unaware that both his father and Monarch are the same person.
"Life can be messy," Felix said.
"Yeah, whatever. I just hope these ghosts don't haunt me and Milady while we are asleep. Too much haunting can cause insanity for a person to go in a traumatic shock" Adrien said.
"We wouldn't like that" Felix then turns on the TV to look at the news.
"Hmmm, so far no akuma" Adrien watched the news with him and the kwamis.
"Give me a break! One of these days, you're gonna have to create a sentimonster to smell butterflies for once but you don't want to ever since the incident of your red.." Plagg said to Felix but got interrupted.
"PLAGG!" Adrien shouted at him.
"Sorry," Plagg said.
Then one news came up about the ghosts appearing in the wax museum.
"What?!" Adrien exclaimed.
"The wax museum!" Felix got up.
"Pretend to be me again. Plagg, claws out!" Adrien transformed into Cat Noir.
"Decoy coming up" Felix messes his hair.

At the wax museum, the two ghosts were around spooking the visitors away. The culprit silhouette was trying to scare the mystery gang from studying the wax statues of the previous akumatized victims to solve this mystery further.
But soon Ladybug arrived at the museum, "Okay ghosts! Time for some ghost-busting! Lucky charm!" She summons her charm, "A salt bottle?" She got confused but then got it, "Of course. Salt repels witches and demons, even ghosts!" So she runs to try to find the ghosts.
But she accidentally crashed into Shaggy and Scooby in a loud impact.
"Ugh! Like, sorry Ladybug," Shaggy said.
"Ow….what's going on?" Ladybug groaned from the impact before getting up.
"Re saw rhosts!" Scooby said.
"You both saw the ghosts? Where?" Ladybug asked.
"In the room where the villain statues stand," Shaggy said.
"Where are your friends?" Ladybug asked.
"In the rero room," Scooby pointed.
"Cat Noir should be here by now. Go find your friends and stay safe" Ladybug instructed.
"Rokay" Scooby nods as he and Shaggy run.
Ladybug went to the hero exhibit, remembering there was Monarch who doomed himself by forcing Cat Noir to cataclysm him, "Oh kitty" She thought sadly.
She knew that this wax museum was the only place he didn't want to go to ever since that incident haunted him so much, "The ghost of Monarch must be here" She looked around.
The lights were off but thankfully she used her flashlight to see. She can tell this intruder is trying to play tricks on her and the dark can always play mind tricks to distract them.
"I'm not afraid of ghosts," She said to herself.
Then a whooshing noise came. It spooked Ladybug in the direction she heard but saw nothing.
"Kitty? Is it you?" She asked.
"I'm here, Ladybug" Cat Noir appeared.
"Aaahhh!" Ladybug dropped her flashlight, "Don't scare me like that!"
"Sorry. Just got the report that the Mystery Inc. found the ghosts here" Cat Noir said.
"Someone is playing here. I don't like this" Ladybug picked up her flashlight.
"I see you brought salt for the ghosts" Cat Noir noticed the salt bottle.
"Yeah, but I'm hoping it can do more protection for now," Ladybug said.
"Good point, and where's the gang?" Cat Noir asked.
"Safe for now. I hope" Ladybug said.
"Since the incident, this place haunts me and more with that monster's ghost" Cat Noir said, shuddering at how it scares him, "They are trying to mess with our heads"
"They can't hide for long" Ladybug poured salt in a circle.
"I hope you know what you're doing, milady" Cat Noir checks the radar on his staff.
"I don't but someone must be here that can't go through walls like a ghost," Ladybug said, checking the infrared camera on her bug phone for heat signatures.
"Okay," Cat Noir looks around.
