In the morning, Charlie and Vaggie join their friends at the dining table for breakfast. Niffty smiles with her giant stack of pancakes, nearly scaring Husk and Angel Dust from their own conversation. Though she is cheered on by Cherri Bomb before she takes a bite of her own eggs. Alastor decided to have breakfast in his own room, away from the group.

Francis chats with his father before taking a bite of bacon, getting grease on his cheek. Ophelia attempts to offer him a handkerchief before Cricket pokes her on the shoulder, distracting her to ask a question.

The goat pouts when Charlie takes a napkin to wipe his face clean. Which made their father chuckle at the two siblings.

Vaggie smiles at the scene of the family in front of her. But then her eye widens upon scanning the group, noticing that someone is missing, "Hey, has anyone seen Viola?"

Lucifer whips his head around to scan the group, "Uhhhh, nope!"

Charlie frowns upon hearing this, putting her napkin down on the table, "She's still in her room? Ohhh... Well, now I'm worried."

Vaggie relaxes her own shoulders in an attempt to calm her girlfriend down, "Babe, don't worry. I'll go check on her, Viola's probably still needs some time to adjust. Trust me, she'll be just fine."

The fallen Exorcist rushes up the stairs to her friend's room. She presses her ear to the door, trying to listen for her. She then knocked on the door, "Hey, Viola? Are you coming down for breakfast or what?"

Meanwhile, in her room, the smaller angel woke up with a slow blink, "Huh?" She sits up in her bed and took a look at the clock, "KeeKee! You were supposed to wake me up!" The cat on her bed meowed at her, stretching her body. She jumped out of her bed, "I will! Just... Give me a second!" She was wearing her pajamas, which consisted of a black tank top, the white shorts with red hearts that Angel had gifted her and orange socks. Her top shows off her scars, the stitch marks littering her upper arms, legs and fingers.

She then fell out of her bed, landing on her chin with a thud, "I'll be right there!"

Outside the door, Vaggie knocked again, "Viola? Are you okay in there?" After hearing the thud, she opened the door, "That's it, I'm coming in."

Despite still being in her tank top, Viola picked up her shirt to hold in front of herself, "Hey! Getting dressed in here!" She already had her black pants on with a frown.

The taller fallen angel stops with wide eyes, "Oh cr-p, sorry! I thought you were-" She narrows her eyes at the stitch mark-like scars on Viola's upper arm. She walks over and holds her friend's arm, "What are these? Where did you get them?" Her eyes widen in horror, "I swear to Lucifer himself, if this was Lute-"

The scarred exorcist rips her arm away from her mentor, "Vaggie, calm down! Let go of me! It wasn't Lute! I've always had these!" She rolls up her pant leg, "See, look! I have a lot!"

The taller woman scratches the back of her head, "...I never noticed them before." She looks around the room, seeing the angelic shotgun leaning against her dresser, next to her spear, "You kept that?"

Viola put her red shirt on with a shrug, "It's okay, I always hid them under my uniform." She then reached for her black vest, "Of course I did... I... Don't know if I still want to use it though."

Vaggie shrugs back at her before tilting her head, "...It's okay. So, what do you mean you've always had those?"

The smaller Exorcist shrugs again, "It's like I said. I noticed them a few days after I was created." She rolls up the sleeve of her shirt to gaze at her scars, "I don't know what they were at the time. But if I had to take a guess, they're probably from when Adam created me..." She begins to poke at the scar on her upper arm, "They're not actual stitches, er... Well, I think they used to be. But I think whatever Adam did to make me come to life..." She couldn't finish her sentence, but both knew what she meant.

The taller fallen angel nods her head before relaxing her back on the wall, "That makes sense, you were made out of scraps."

Viola turns away from her friend with a large frown on her face, "Pfft yeah and it's great!" She puts her gloves on with a glare, "Being made from a piece of Lute makes me feel super inside..."

Vaggie's voice took a softer tone, turning her head away, "...And a piece of me too."

This made the younger angel's glare soften almost instantly, "Wait... Really?" She turns back to her friend, looking straight at her.

The one-eyed fallen angel smiles at her, "Of course. You were made with leftovers of most of the Exorcist there and that includes me."

The red-winged angel let out a breath, "That... Actually makes me feel a bit better." She turns back to her sister with a smile, "Thank you, Vaggie."

Vaggie put her hand on top of her sister's hair with a smile, "No problem. Now come on, before Charlie rushes up here herself for the both of us..." She then smirked, "Or I can get Niffty-"

Viola quickly shook her head with a chuckle, "No way! She tried to stab me last time! But I'll be right there, Vaggie!"

...

Soon enough, the former exorcists finish their breakfast with the group at the table. Vaggie picked up the younger Exorcist's plate to shove it under her own, "Okay so, you ready to start your training up again?"

Viola pouts with a wave of her head, "Aw man, I have to train down here too?"

Vaggie nods her head back at her, "Of course you do, you have to keep up your skills or else they'll get rusty." She gestures for her friend to follow her, "Come on, it won't take too long."

The golden eyed angel slumps her shoulders with her wings following suit, "...Okay fine..."

After Viola grabbed her spear from her room, the two found their way to the hotel's new gym area. Vaggie lead her younger friend to the solid floor of a court, clearing all the actual sports equipment out of the area.

The older Exorcist picks up her spear and points it at her friend, "Okay, Viola... I'm glad we're doing this, actually. Makes me think back to when you were more... Innocent."

Viola's eyes widen upon hearing this, "Innocent?" She then thinks back to her first few days of life and shrugs her shoulders, "...Hmm, you have a point. But do we have to use our spears, Vaggie? It seems really dangerous."

The angel with longer hair nods her head with a frown, "I know it doesn't seem very safe but we have to practice with these types of weapons. Lute and the rest of the Exorcists aren't going to take it easy on us. They're going to have these spears too. Do you understand that?"

The smaller angel sighs in defeat, "...Yeah, I do."

And thus, the older angel kicked off to strike the smaller one. Viola ducked to dodge the incoming swipe and jumped to the side. She jabs her spear forward, missing her friend when she quickly took a step to the side.

Vaggie twirled her spear in her hands to switch to the bottom end. She swipes at the smaller angel a few times, being blocked by the other's spear. She smiles when they clash, "Come on, Viola. You gotta try harder than that!"

The smaller Exorcist frowns, trying to push back at her former mentor, "I am trying though!"

Vaggie then pushes the golden eyed angel away from her. She twirled her spear before swinging once more, getting dangerously close to the smaller angel.

Viola flinched when the point of the spear came near to her face, "...This is reminding me of some bad memories!"

The former mentor puts her hand up, "Woah! Woah, it's okay. You're okay!" She waves her hand in an attempt to calm her friend down, "Uh... How about we take a break?"

The golden eyed angel relaxes her shoulders, letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding, "Fine..."

The two then heard a cough from the fair end of the room. This made them turn their heads to see Angel Dust, who is relaxing his back on the wall. He looks up from his phone, "You know, maybe the lil' angel needs a change of pace."

Viola tilts her head at him, "A change of pace?"

The spider demon points his thumb towards the other woman, "Yeah! I saw you strugglin' against Miss Guard Dog over here. Why don't you try one of these babies for a spin?"

He pulled a small, black pistol out of his pocket. He smirked while moving it around, showing it off to the smaller angel.

The smaller angel scratches the back of her head, "Uh... I don't know how to use one of those."

Vaggie folds her arms with her spear in her hand, "Yeah... I'm not sure this is a good idea, Angel."

The pink demon smiles at them both with a wave of his hand, "Hey, don't worry about it! I can show ya! Besides, it's not too different from that shotgun you used before!" Once he shoves the weapon into the smaller woman's hands, he smirks evilly, "But first! We need to grab some targets..."

The golden eyed angel grips the pistol and nods her head, "Oh! Uh, okay. Where do we get those?"

Angel smiles with his hands on his hips, "Don't you worry your adorable little head, doll!" He smirks before running ahead of her, "Come with me!"

Vaggie rubbed her eyebrows upon watching them leave, "Wait! ...Oh this better not be a mistake."

Eventually, the two find their way to the new bar in the hotel. Which, of course, is where Husk was working. He was cleaning a glass in his hands, not even looking up upon hearing the two new people appear at his bar. His ear twitched before setting the glass down next to a few brown bottles made of glass.

The spider demon relaxed against the bar with an eyebrow wiggle, "Huskerrrrrr..."

The cat demon rolls his eyes, not looking at them, "Just take 'em."

The pink spider pumps his fist with a smile, "Yes! Come on, Viola!"

Viola raises an eyebrow before quickly following him, "Woah! Uh, okay!"

Angel Dust quickly tugs the girl with him. He playfully shoves her in front of himself, heading outside to create their own shooting range...

...

Soon enough, now in the backyard of the hotel grounds, Angel lined his shot up with the pistol before firing, shattering the glass bottle, "Boom! Accuracy ain't my strong suit but eh... Kinda reminds me of the ol' days when I was alive." He gestured to the second bottle, "Now you take a shot, toots."

Viola nods at the taller man, "Uh... Sure thing, Angel." She points the gun and tries to fire it but found that the trigger didn't move. She looks at the sinner with a raised eyebrow.

The spider sinner tilts his head at her, "...Is the safety on?"

The white haired angel looks at the pistol in her heads, "...Whoops."

Angel lets out a small laugh with a smile, "Psssh... Take it off and fire, toots."

The former Exorcist nods before looking down at the gun, "Sure thing!" She pulled at a few places on the weapon and held up the gun again. She then pulled the trigger and the next thing they knew, the glass bottle shattered.

The spider demon holds up a thumbs up, "Nice shot, Viola!"

The short angel's eyes sparkles, "Really? It was?" She then smiles brightly at him, "Thanks, Angel!"

Angel nods back at her, "You're welcome! Now come on, let's get a few more practice shots in."

Viola nods before turning back around, holding up her pistol, "Yeah! Sounds good!"

The two then lined up their guns and fired for quite a few more rounds. Right up to the last brown bottle...

This makes Angel stretch his arms behind his head with a smile, "So, how do you feel about the pistol? Is it better than the spear?"

Viola scratches her cheek, "Eh... I... I don't know if I want to use bullets though. Isn't there a less..." She then shrugs her shoulders, "Murdery way to use this?"

The spider demon shrugs, leaning his own pistol back on his shoulder, "Come on, don't be scared! You used to be a big, scary Exorcist, right?"

The fallen Exorcist slumps her shoulders, her wings following the same motion, "Yeah but I don't want to be seen like that anymore... I think it makes me uncomfortable."

Angel smiles softly at her, "...Okay, okay. Quit worrying about it." He waves his hand towards the door before putting the pistol on his hip, "We'll figure somethin' out for ya. Come on, let's go back inside."

...

Back inside her room, Viola lays back on her comfy bed. She holds the pistol above her before grimacing at it. She places it on her nightstand before staring up at the ceiling. She stretches her arms behind her head before taking a deep breath, "It's about that time again, isn't it?"

She then stands up and takes a few slow steps to her window, opening it with a smile. Once she gets her body on the other side of the windowsill, she flaps her wings to fly herself upwards...

Later that evening...

Eventually, Charlie started knocking on her bedroom door, "Hey, Viola? I'm just a little worried about you since you haven't come out of your room in a while..." When she got no response, she takes a deep breath, "Hmm... I'm sorry for breaching your privacy but I just want to make sure you're okay!"

She opens the door, only to see that Viola was not in the room. Her window was open so Charlie looked outside before carefully climbing upwards. She shimmied her way up the drainage pipe next to the window...

Soon, the princess found herself on the smaller roofs of the hotel, looking around for the new fallen angel. The platform she was on was slightly slanted and covered in black shingles.

Charlie slipped backwards when her foot landed on one of the tiles wrong, "Woah!"

"Charlie!"

Suddenly, she felt someone grab her bowtie and yank her forward. Her eyes widened at the sight of Viola in front of her, still holding onto her bowtie. She stepped onto the flat ground of the roof before looking at the fallen angel, "Wow! That was a close fall, wasn't it?"

The white haired woman folded her arms with a frown, "It was! Please, Emily, be more careful."

Charlie raised her eyebrow, "Emily?" She then put her hands over her chest with a sad frown, "...Awww, Viola..."

The former Exorcist quickly turned away from the owner of the hotel, "I... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call you her name."

The princess put her hand on her friend's shoulder, "Awww, it's okay! I know you miss her a lot, why don't you tell me about it?"

Viola sighs before sitting down on the roof, her wings falling downcast next to her, "I know you and Vaggie and Angel are just trying to help. It's just... Weird to be down here and to not be with Emily... And I don't know how everyone feels about me and sometimes I think what I did was some dumb idea I had. Everyone keeps telling me it's okay but it still feels so weird to hear sometimes... Like nothing feels But..." She reached up towards the glowing orb in the sky, "Sometimes I like talking to that thing... Makes me feel like I'm talking to her, at least a little."

The blonde woman smiles softly before sitting next to her newest guest, "Well, that's good. It means you're practicing what to say to her when you'll see her next, right?"

The former Exorcist shrugs her shoulders before looking at the ground in front of her, "...Maybe? ...I don't know. I'm still not sure what I'd actually say to her. If I get the chance again to see her again..."

Charlie bumped her shoulder into her friend's with a smile, "...Well, it's still good..."

Which made Viola smile, in both somberness and happiness.

And with that, the two looked up at the golden globe in the sky... Just sitting together in thought with some light chatter...
