Chapter 1; Two Starting Points

Location; Melemele Island, Alola

In the Pokemon world. On one of Melemele Island beaches a teenager, who was wearing a blue t-shirt and short, a bracelet with a blue crystal on her left arm and had long aqua colored hair was resting on the shore listening to the water and the wind. Soon she was woken up by an aqua-colored elephant that was as small as a dog jumping onto her. She then laughed and said. "Whoa, Phanpy, what are you doing here little lady? Where's Brionne and Fletchinder?" Then a aqua-colored seal lion that had a dress on, and a bird that had red and blue feathers on its body and orange on its wings appeared next to her. The seal lion said to her. [Sorry Aqua, she got away from us. We are failures as big siblings.]

"It's fine, Brionne. And you aren't a bad big sister and Fletchinder isn't a bad big brother." Aqua said, getting up. The bird then said as he landed on her left shoulder. [Trying to remember your past, again?]

"Yes, Fletchinder. But I still can't remember anything. By the way, why are you all here?"

[Miss Kangofu, told us to get you.] Phanpy said as she jumped onto Aqua. That caused Fletchinder to fly away. Aqua laughed and then remembered why. She then said as Phanpy got off her. "Oh right, Miss Kangofu wants to go to the Technology Connections Convocation, or T.C.C."

[I'm still surprised that Kahuna Hala is allowing it to take place here.] Brionne said as Aqua put Phanpy down. "Same, now let's go." Aqua said as she started to walk back to her house and her Pokemon followed her.

Location; Shibuya Subway

On Earth, Ren, who was asleep, woke up on a train coming from the countryside to the city. As he waited for his stop to come up, he remembered why he was on that train and he was filled with rage. He then heard two high school girls talking to one another. "What? Are you real? A mental shutdown?"

"It's the truth!"

"To a person thought? That's got to be a joke. You really love all that occult stuff, don't you?" One of the girls said as the train pulled into the station. Ren got off the train and pulled out his smartphone, trying to find directions to the place he would be living at. He took a moment and looked around to see all the people, when he looked down at his phone again, he saw a new app on his phone. It was a red eyeball that had a star in it and covered his whole screen. Ren touched it, but nothing happened on the phone. But the world suddenly started to slow down and stopped, only Ren was still moving. Ren looked around and soon saw blue flames erupting from within the crowd. The blue flames then started to take a humanoid shape with wings and then red flames like a mouth that looked like a smile and eyes looking at him. Ren kept looking at it and then it was Ren with gold colored eyes. Then a flash appeared and everything was back to normal. Ren didn't know what just happened, but he knew that app had something to do with it. He then deleted it right away and said. "That was a weird app."

Location; Melemele Island, Alola

"This place is amazing." An adult woman with brown hair in a white summer dress said as she, Aqua, who now had a blue backpack and Aqua Pokemon were at the T.C.C. Aqua then said to the adult. "How can it be amazing, if we haven't seen anything yet Miss Kangofu?"

"I know Aqua. Now come on, let's see what this place has to offer." Miss Kangofu said as they walked through the convocation. Each booth had an amazing or weird piece of teleology. As Aqua and Miss Kangofu looked at the latest Rotom Smartphones, Phanpy saw something cool and ran off. Brionne and Fletchinder ran after her, not letting Aqua or Miss Kangofu know they were going after Phanpy. Everytime, Phanpy stop and they were going to catch her, Phanpy saw something new and ran after it. A few minutes later, Brionne and Fletchinder lost sight of Phanpy. Fletchinder said to Brionne. [Great we lose her. So we find Aqua and have her help]

[No, as Phanpy's big sister and brother, we will find her.]

[Can you please cut down on the drama Brionne. We don't need it while we are searching for Phanpy.]

[Don't worry Fletchinder, I'm sure we'll run into her soon.] Brionne said as Phanpy ran into them. The impact sent them all flying into a backstage area. Brionne then said to Fletchinder as all of them had surly eyes. [See we found her.]

[You know, sometimes I hate your positive more then your drama.]

[I can say the same thing about you being serious all the time.] Brionne said as they all got up. They were going to the exit, when they heard a man say. "Behold, the newest piece of teleology, the Tele-Watch." They all stopped and went to where the man was. The man talking was in a business suit and next to him was a watch in a purple and pink box. The man then said walking around it. "The Tele-Watch was inspired by the Pokemon Move; Teleport. With this watch, you can teleport to locations you've been to."

[Did you hear that? It might teleport to a place from Aqua past.] Phanpy said and Brionne said. [Yeah. We have to get it for her.]

[But Aqua doesn't remember her past, so how can that help?] Flechinder said before the man said. "And don't you worry if you forget where you want to go. The Tele-Watch can also read your mind, just think about where you want to go and then a portal shall open up."

[Oh, now we have to take it.] Brionne said and Fletchinder said. [We can't steal that, even if it helps Aqua.] As they fought with one another, Phanpy went over to the box, took it and went to find Aqua. They saw her leave with the box, Fletchinder then said to Brionne. [You know she copies this after you?]

[It's better than copying you, Fletchinder.] Brionne said as they went after Phanpy and showed off their sibling rivalry. Unknown to Phanpy, a blue, yellow, and red aura entered the box and into the watch.

Location; Yongen-Jaya, Backstreets

For Ren, he found the house of Sojiro Sakura, the man that will take care of him for a while. But even after ringing the doorbell, it doesn't look like anyone will answer the door.
"Looks like no one's home…" A parcel delivery man said, catching Ren's attention. The man then said looking at his list. "Oh, yeah… Sakura-san's usually at his cafe around this time. Well, Leblanc's in the back alley, so I should make my other deliveries first…" Ren then left the parcel delivery man and went back down the alley, to a cafe that had the word Leblanc on top. He went inside and found three adults. Two were an elderly man and a woman drinking coffee and watching the tv. The third was a man who was the manager of this place and was doing a crossword puzzle on a newspaper. The tv was talking about another public transportation accident that has been happening recently. "How frightening." Elderly man said and the Elderly woman said. "What could be going on? Didn't something similar happen just the other day?"

"And down is… the name of a shellfish used in pearl farming…" The manager said, more focus on the crossword puzzle then the elderly pair. After Ren shut the door and bell rang and the manager looked right at him. He then remembered and said. "...Oh, right. They did say that was today."

"We'll be going now. The payment's on the table." The elderly man said to the manager. The manager then said to him. "Thanks for coming."

"This place is in the back alley, so there's no worries of a car crashing in here."

"A what now?"

"There's been a string of those rampage accidents, you know. I just hope that nothing happens around here."

"It's none of my concern."

"Haha, we'll see you next time." The elderly man said as he and the elderly woman left Leblanc. The manager then said to Ren. "...Four hours for just a single cup of joe. So, you're Ren."

"Yeah, is Sakura-san here?"

"You're looking right at him. I'm Sojrio Sakura. You'll be in my custody over the next year. I was wondering what kind of unruly kid would show up, but you're the one, huh? Have you been told? A customer of mine and your parents know each other and- Well, not that matters… Follow me." Sojiro said and Ren followed him up to a very filthy attic. Sojiro then said to Ren. "This is your room. I'll at least give you sheets for your bed. You look like you wanna say something."

"It's big."

"It's on you to clean up the rest. I'll be leaving after I lock up each day. You'll be alone at night, but don't do anything stupid. I'll throw you out if you cause any trouble. Now then… I got the gist of your situation. You protected some woman from a man forcing himself on her, he got injured, then sued you. Right?"

"Yeah."

"That's what you get for sticking matter between two adults. You did injure him, yeah?"

"Yes, but…"

"But nothing… And now that you've got a criminal record, you were expelled from your high school. The court ordered you to transfer and move out here, which your parents also approved. In other words, they got rid of you for being a pain in the ass. It's best you not talk about anything unnecessary. I am in the restaurant business, you know. Behave yourself for a year. If nothing happens, your probation will be lifted."

"I know."

"Good, we'll be going to Shujin tomorrow."

"Shujin?"

"Shujin Academy– the school you'll be attending. We'll introduce ourselves properly to the staff there. There's rarely a place that'll accept someone like you, you know. What a waste of my Sunday… Your "luggage" arrived a little while ago. I brought it up here for you." Sojiro said as he went back to his work. Ren started looking around and started to clean it up.

Location; Melemele Island, Alola

Shortly after Aqua Pokemon left them. Miss Kangofu and Aqua split up and started to look for them. "Guy! Where are you?!" Aqua yelled in the parking lot, when all of her Pokemon ran up to her. Phanpy then said to her. [Aqua, we found you?]

"Found me? You guys disappeared?"

[Sorry, Phanpy ran off again.] Brionne said as Aqua noticed the Tele-Watch Phanpy was holding. Aqua took it and said. "What's this?"

[A Tele-Watch. It can teleport you to locations you've been too, even if you can't remember them.] Fletchinder said and Aqua said. "So if I use it, I might arrive at a location that could help me remember my past?" Her Pokmenon nodded yes and she opened the box. In the T.C.C. the man that explained the Tele-Watch was looking for it. Another man walked up to him and said. "Are you ready to go?"

"No, I misplaced the watch."

"Don't you have another?"

"No."

"Then want all these boxes?"

"They're fakes so no one would steal it."

"Oh, ok. What's the worst that can happen?"

"It could work, it could explode and he or she could lose a lime, or it could rip holes between time and space."

"And you brought that to the T.C.C.? What were you thinking?"

"Calm down, it doesn't have any power, so it doesn't work right now."

"I can't believe it's working?" Aqua said as she had just put it on her left arm under her bracelet and looked at its functions. "Now let's finally get some answers." Aqua said as she turned on its teleport function. The watch then shot out four lights and started to make a circle. The circle opened and was just black on the other side. As Aqua and her Pokemon were wondering where the portal opened. Soon a person covered in a red clock appeared out of the portal. "Who are you?" Aqua said. Before the person in red grabbed Aqua Pokeballs and returned all of her Pokemon. She then threw them all into the air. Aqua caught them, but that gave the person in red a chance to grab her and threw her into the portal. The person in red then jumps into it too. And after it closed, a pillar of blue, yellow, and red lightning appeared where the portal was. The lightning started to spread around the world and even though the pillar was gone, the lightning was still around and no one would learn what Aqua had just set into motion.

Location; Yongen-Jaya, Backstreets

As for Ren, he had cleaned up the attic. Sojiro came up and said. "What the heck? I heard you making all sorts of noise up here, but I didn't think you were cleaning." Sojiro looked around and said. "Actually, the place doesn't look too bad. Though it's only natural you'd want to keep your room tidy. Why don't you go to bed for tonight? You don't have anything better to be doing, right? I'm going to close up shop and get out of here myself. I won't be the one looking after you if you get sick from staying up too late, you got that?"

"Ok." Ren said as Sojiro left him. Ren then went to bed, but he still couldn't let go of that day. It happened in his hometown, Ren was going home late, when he heard a man and a woman fighting. The man looked drunk and was bothering the woman. She looked in danger, so I couldn't ignore her. I got closer and heard the man say. "Tch… What a waste of time. You think you're worth causing me trouble? Huh?"

"I-I'll call the police!"

"Heh, call them if you want! The police are my bitches. They're not gonna take you seriously."

"No… Stop!" She said as they heard police sirens. The drunk man then said. "Someone called the cops, huh? Get into the car! Incompetent fools like you like you just need to shut your mouths and follow where I steer this country!" He then noticed Ren and said. "...What're you looking at? Get outta my face! This ain't a show. Get lost, kid. See? This is all because you're so damn slow! Get in the car!" The next few moments ruined his life and filed with anger. Ren was going to sleep, but his phone rang. He picked it up and saw the same app that was on his phone from earlier was back. Ren deleted it again and went to sleep. Ren then suddenly woke up, but not in his bed, but a velvet jail cell and was hearing prison clothes and had chains on his hands and legs. Ren got off the bed and heard someone chuckling. He followed where the chuckling was coming from and saw three people. Two were female twins with golden eyes wearing velvet color warden outfits and had eye patches. The only difference was their hair styles and that they both had their eye patch covering a different eye. And an old man in a black suit that had a very long nose. The man then said to Ren. "Trickster… Welcome to my Velvet Room."

Location; ?

Aqua was also waking up in a new environment too. She woke up next to a castle, she then looked around and didn't see the person in red, she only saw her Pokeballs. She picked them up and saw all of her Pokemon were still inside. She then said to them. "Are you guys ok?"

[Yeah, but what about you and your left arm?] Brionne said threw the Pokeball and Aqua looked at her left arm. The Tele-Watch had turned into an armor clove that had three small buttons: a blue, a yellow and a red one, a screen and the bracelet was fused with it. "I'm fine and I don't know what happened to the Tele-Watch. And I don't know where we are." Aqua said, looking at the castle.
