Brawl 1 Water: Chapter 8 The Aurelus Winter Solstice Part 2

A few minutes after Aang gave everyone the news, the others were getting the supplies that they needed and did it quickly. But worried about his friends, Aang had rolled out Phaedrus and got on to her. Before Phaedrus flew away, she said to Aang. "Shouldn't we be going with the others?"

"No."

"Why?"

"If they got hurt, I'd never forgive myself."

"Is that why you are trying to run away?" Hoshi said as he was on Appa, who appeared in front, Eenoch appeared on the left and Pyravian appeared on the right. Aang then said to everyone. "Get out of the way guys."

"Just stop and listen to us, Aang." Saida said from behind them. Aang turned around and saw the rest of his friends and the village, with the mayor holding a bag of supplies. Katara walked up to Aang and said. "Please don't go, Aang. The world can't afford to lose you to the Fire Nation. Neither can I." Part of Aang understood the counselor his friends had for him, but that comet was still in his mind and he had to know, no, he needed to know why Roku wanted to talk to him about it. So Aang made that clear to his friends. "But I have to talk to Avatar Roku to find out what my vision means. So I need to get to the fire temple before the sun sets on the Solstice."

"And to add on the pressure that is today." Phaedrus said, getting ready to take off. She was stopped by all of them and Katara said. "We're not letting you go into the Fire Nation, Aang."

"At least not without your friends. We got your back." Sokka said and Aang reluctantly agreed. They all got on Appa and left their Bakugan out. The mayor gave the supplies to Saida and said to them. "It's a long journey to the crescent island. You'll have to fly fast to have any chance of making it before sundown."

"Will do!" Hoshi said as he and the Bakugan took off and they all started to fly to the crescent island. That night at the village, the people had a peaceful night for the first time in a long time. The mayor couldn't believe it, so that night he looked around and made sure the danger was really gone. It was safe, but he wasn't. Zuko grabbed him and said as Zuko kicked him down. "Having trouble sleeping?"

"Forgive my acquaintance, we have a question." Alex said as he picked the mayor up and slammed him into a wall. "Where is the Avatar going?" Alex said as Ryerazu appeared behind Alex with all of his mouth ablaze. The mayor told them where the Aang and the others were going and they left without causing any trouble. As both parties went full speed to the crescent island, the sun started to rise. In the air, Aang was flying Appa at full speed and the others didn't see Zuko ship had caught up to them. As Zuko looked through the telescope on the bridge, Iroh said to him as he and Alex were watching him. "Sailing into Fire Nation waters. Of all the foolish things you've done in your 16 years, Prince Zuko, this is the most foolish."

"I have no choice, uncle."

"Have you completely forgotten that the Fire Lord banished you? What if you're caught?"

"I'm chasing the Avatar. My father will understand why I'm returning home."

"Please tell me he is the understanding type?" Alex said to Iroh and Iroh said. "My brother is not the understanding type. Zuko gives him too much credit."

"There they are." Zuko said as he saw Appa, Phaedrus, Pyravian and Eenoch through the telescope. Zuko then gave the crew his orders. "Helmsman, full steam ahead. Hex, get ready."

"Fine, but let's make this quick." Alex said as he went down onto the deck. In the air, Miguel said to everyone. "Guys, we have a problem. Zuko found us and he isn't slowing down."

"Can this get any worse?" Sokka said before Hoshi said. "And you just jinx us, Sokka." Hoshi was right, Alex had rolled out Ryerazu and said to Zuko as Ryerazu had fire building up from his three mouths. "We're ready when you are."

"On my mark. FIRE!" Zuko said before Ryerazu said. "Triple Stream!"

"Incoming!" Sokka said before the Bakugan counter attack. "Sonic Roar!" Phaedrus said as she roared, countering one of Ryerazu's attacks. "Feather Blade!" Pyravian said as she clapped her wings and released a cut from her wings, blocking another Ryerazu's attacks. "Darkus Blocker!" Eenoch said made a dark wall to stopped Ryerazu's final attack, but it caused little damges. (Eenoch 550) Saida then said to them. "Thanks guys."

"Yeah thanks, but we have another problem." Hoshi before they all looked ahead and Aang said. "Is that…"

"A blockade!" Zuko said as everyone saw two parallel lines of big Fire Nation ships, each with catapults ready to fire, one line going right and the other line going left. Iroh then said to Zuko. "Technically you are still in Earth Kingdom Waters. Turn back now, and they cannot arrest you."

"If we fly north, we can go around the Fire Nation ships and avoid the blockade." Aang said before Hoshi said. "That would be safer, but we don't have the time."

"This is exactly why I didn't want you to come. It's too dangerous." Aang said before Katara said. "And that's exactly why we're here."

"Let's run this blockade." Sokka said and they all picked up speed. "He's not turning around." Zuko said before Iroh said. "Please, Prince Zuko. If the Fire Nation captures you, or Alex, there is nothing I can do. Do not follow the Avatar."

"Please listen to Master Iroh and turn around!" Alex said, grabbing Zuko, worried for his safety. Zuko pushed Alex off and said. "We are not going to turn around! Run the blockade!"

"The Avatar… The banished prince... And some of those monsters we been hearing about. This must be my lucky day." Zhao said, because he was on one of the ships and saw all of them with a telescope. A male soldier walked up to Zhao and said. "Commander Zhao, what are your orders?"

"Shoot all of those monsters down, captain."

"But there's a Fire Navy Ship out there, sir– one of our own. What if it's hit?"

"So be it. It belongs to a traitor. Ignite!" Zhao said as the soldiers let the boulders on the catapults on fire. "Launch!" Zhao said and every catapult fired their flaming boulders. "Current Reflection!" Phaedrus said as she spinning around in a circle causing the boulders to change direction. "Light Barrier!" Pyravian said making a small barrier of hexagon shaped light surrounded her and Appa. "Darkus Blocker!" Eenoch said, making another wall. Each shield move protected Appa and the other, but causes little damage to the Bakugan. (Phaedrus 550 / Pyravian 450 / Eenoch 400) "Solar Ring!" Ryerazu said, making an orange circle appear over the ship. It protected Ryerazu and the ship, but there were so many that the shield move missed one, and it hit the back of the ship. A crew man then said to Zuko. "Prince Zuko, the engines are damaged! We need to stop and make repairs!"

"Do not stop this ship." Zuko said before Zhao launched another wave of flaming boulders. In the air, Hoshi said to the Bakugan. "Are you guys ok?"

"Yeah, but we can't keep this up for much longer." Pyravian said as their shield moves were starting to get cracks and Phaedrus was slowing down a little. (Phaedrus 350 / Pyravian 300 / Enoch 250) Aang then said to them. "Just hang on a little more, we are almost there."

"We'll try." Phaedrus said as Zhao focused all of his fire power at Aang and the others. "Phaedrus!" Aang said as he jumped off Appa. "Got it." Phaedrus said as she joined Aang. "Air Cutter!" Aang and Phaedrus said together, both of them kicked together, Aang with his right leg and Phaedrus with her tail. The joint attack cut down all of the boulders. Aang landed on Phaedrus' back and Hoshi took the reins of Appa, as they all flew over the blockade before they could fire again. Aang then jumped off of Phaedrus and said as the Bakugan returned to Ball Form. "We made it!"

"We got into the Fire Nation. Great." Sokka said as he and Katara were still a little shocked from the battle. Hoshi then said to them, as he tightened his grip on the reins. "Next stop the fire temple. Yip yip!" As Zhao was losing sight of Appa, a male soldier said to him. "Where do you think the Avatar is heading, sir?"

"I'm not sure, but I bet a certain banished Prince will know." Zhao said, looking at Zuko's ship, which wasn't slowing down. On Zuko's ship, Iroh yelled to everyone. "We're on a collision course!"

"We're going to crash!" Alex said as he was going to run to Ryerazu, so he could escape. But Zuko grabbed Alex's shirt, by the collar, and said. "We can make it."

"The boarding party is ready to apprehend Prince Zuko, sir." A male soldier to Zhao standing next to a group of Fire Nation soldiers. Zhao then gave them his order. "Wait. Cut the engines and let them pass." It did confuse them, but they followed Zhao orders. The blockade let Zuko's ship pass, and that caused Zuko some concern, but the race was back on.

Almost an hour before sundown, Aang and the others had found the crescent island that had the fire temple. They landed in a spot they had cover. Once they all got off Appa, Aang said to Appa and the Bakugan. "You did it, guys. Nice flying! And thank you for all of your help."

"Oh, you all must be tired." Katara said to Appa and all of the Bakugan. Sokka missed the "all" part of the sentence and thought Katara was talking about him. So he said to Katara. "No, I'm good. Refreshed and ready to fight some Firebenders."

"I was talking to Appa."

"Well, I was talking to Miguel."

"Don't pull into your stupidity." Miguel said before Hoshi clapped his hand and said. "Alright listen up. We don't have long before sundown, so we need to avoid fighting. Quick and quiet people, let's move." Soon they all ran to the temple, once they got close and took some cover, Sokka said as they all looked at the temple. "I don't see any guards."

"The Fire Nation must have abandoned the temple when Avatar Roku died." Katara said before Saida said. "I don't think so. The building looks well kept for a hundred year old building."

"Yeah, something is wrong here." Hoshi said before Aang said. "It's almost sundown. We'd better hurry." Aang then ran into the temple. The other went after him and inside they tried to be quiet, but they stopped when they heard footsteps coming from behind them. They all turned around and saw five guys in red robes with pointy hats. The oldest man in the group said to them. "We are the Fire Sages, guardians of the temple of the Avatar."

"Great. I am the Avatar." Aang said thinking they were allies. "We know." The old man said before they all shot fire at them. Aang jumped in front of everyone and blocked them. "I'll hold them off, run!"

"Can't you roll out your Bakugan?' Sokka said as they ran away. Hoshi said to Sokka as Aang ran from the Fire Sages. "If we roll them out in here, they might take down the building and us too." Once out of sight, the Fire Sages split up and started looking for them. Aang joined them and soon they ran into the youngest Fire Sages. They tried to escape, but they ran into a dead end. The young man caught up to them and said. "I don't want to fight you. I am a friend."

"Firebenders aren't our friends." Sokka said as they got ready for a fight. "Hold on! If he was going to attack us, he would have done it by now." Hoshi said as the young man got on his hands and knees and bowed his head to Aang. Hoshi then said looking at the man. "See. Now who are you?"

"I am Shyu and I know why you're here, Avatar."

"You do?" Aang said as Shyu got up and said. "Yes. You wish to speak to Avatar Roku. I can take you to him."

"How?" Aang said as Shyu removed a wall lamp and Firebended into a hole behind the lamp. Then a secret door opened. It did seem suspicious, but they had no choice, but to follow him. Once they throw the door, Shyu closes it, so the Sages wouldn't find or follow them.

Back at sea, Zuko's ship was getting closer to the crescent island, but Zuko had some concerns. So he asked for some advice from Iroh. "What's he up to, uncle? Why didn't Commander Zhao arrest me?"

"Because he wants to follow you. He knows you'll lead him to the prize you're both after…" Iroh said before Alex said. "The Avatar. So what do we do?"

"If Zhao wants to follow our trail of smoke, then that's exactly what I'll let him do." Zuko said as he came up with a plan. Back at the temple, the others were in a secret stairwell that had lava moving around them. Miguel said to Shyu. "Hey, what is this place and where are we?"

"Avatar Roku once called this temple his home. He found these secret passages out of the magma." Shyu said as he showed them the way to Roku. Aang caught up to him and said. "Did you know Avatar Roku?"

"No, but my grandfather knew him."

"So you followed in your grandfather's footsteps?" Saida said before Shyu said. "Actually I am following my family legacy. Many generations of Fire Sages guarded this temple long before me. We all have a strong spiritual connection to this place."

"Is that how you knew I was coming?" Aang said before Shyu said. "A few weeks ago, an amazing thing occurred. The statue of Avatar Roku… Its eyes began to glow."

"That's when we were at the Southern Air Temple. Avatar Roku's eyes were glowing there, too." Katara said before Saida said. "It must have connected to every Avatar temple in the world. Letting the world know Aang was back."

"Ok, but if the Fire Sages are supposed to follow the Avatar, why did they attack Aang?" Hoshi said and Shyu told them why. "Things have changed. In the past, the Sages were loyal only to the Avatar. When Roku died, the Sages eagerly awaited for the next Avatar to return, but he never came."

"They were waiting for me." Aang said before Sokka said. "Hey, don't feel bad. You're only 100 years late."

"That's not helping Sokka." Miguel said, hitting the back of Sokka's head. "Please continue Shyu." Hoshi said and Shyu continued to speak. "The Sages lost hope that the Avatar would ever return. When Fire Lord Sozin began the war, my grandfather and the other Sages were forced to follow him. I never wanted to serve the Fire Lord."

"Is that why you are helping us?" Saida said before Shyu said. "Yes. When I learned you were coming, I knew I would have to betray the other Sages."

"Thank you for helping my partner." Phaedrus said as she flew next to Shyu's face and bowed to him. Shyu smiled and said. "It is my pleasure, little one. Now we'll follow these stairs to the Sanctuary. Once you're inside, wait for the light to hit Avatar Roku's statue. Only then will you be able to speak with him." After walking for a few more minutes, they reached the top, where the Sanctuary and statue of Avatar Roku were kept. But they stopped when Shyu gasped in disbelief in front of a big metal door that had the Fire Nation symbol and fire dragon heads at the bottom. The others joined him and Aang said to Shyu. "Shyu, what's wrong?"

"The Sanctuary doors… They're closed."

"Can't you just open them with Firebending, like you opened that other door?" Katara said before Shyu said. "No. Only a fully realized Avatar is powerful enough to open this door alone."

"Is there any other way?" Hoshi said before Shyu said. "The only other way is for all five Sages to work together and open it with five simultaneous fire blasts."

"There is another way." Aang said as he grabbed Phaedrus. But before Aang could roll her out, Hoshi grabbed his hand and said. "Bad idea."

"Why, Phaedrus or any of the other Bakugan could break down that door."

"Yes, but the Sages would hear us and because the door is broken they would stop you from hearing the whole message Roku has for you. So the best way to open this door is with five fire blasts. The only problem is how we are going to do it?" Hoshi said before Sokka said, looking at the lamps around the area. "I have an idea that could work."

Back at sea, Zuko's ship was turning away from the crescent island and a smaller ship was exiting from where all of the smoke was coming from. On the small ship were Zuko, Alex and Ryerazu, who was in his ball form. Zuko then said to Iroh as they were getting lowered into the sea. "Uncle, keep heading north. Zhao will follow the smoke trail while I use it as a cover."

"While we use it as cover. And can we hurry this along. This smoke isn't good for our health." Alex said as he started to cough. Iroh didn't like this plan, but it wasn't his call. As they left, Zhao, who was watching Zuko's ship, had a feeling something was wrong. Back at the temple, Sokka had put five balls with fuses in the mouths of all of the dragons. Aang said to Sokka, as Sokka was putting the last ball into the last mouth. "So this will open the door?"

"It should work. I picked this up from my father. I seal the lamp oil inside an animal skin casing. Shyu lights the oil-soaked twine, and ta da! Fake Firebending."

"You're really outdone yourself this time, Sokka." Katara said before Shyu said. "This might actually work."

"Yeah, but they will hear the explosion. So Aang get ready to run inside, and Shyu get ready to help us stay hidden." Hoshi said as they all got behind cover and Shyu got ready to Firebend. Katara looked outside and said to Aang. "It's almost sunset. Are you ready?"

"Definitely." Aang said and Shyu lit all of the balls. Shyu got behind cover and a few seconds later, they all exploded and all of the Sages heard it. Aang ran to the door, but it didn't open. Aang was not happy, so he started to Airbend at the door to let out his frustration. Katara stopped him and said. "Aang, stop. There's nothing else we can do."

"I'm sorry I put you through all this for nothing." Aang said before Hoshi said. "Don't be. We still have time, we just need to think and do something fast."

"I don't get it. That blast looked as strong as any Firebending I've seen." Sokka said and a lamp appeared in Hoshi's mind. Hoshi then said to Sokka. "Sokka, I can not believe I'm saying this, but you are a genius!"

"Wait. How is Sokka a genius? His plan didn't even work." Aang said and Sokka was happy to be called a genius, even if he didn't know why. Hoshi then said to everyone. "You're right. Sokka's plan didn't work, but it sure looks like it did." Everyone, but Aang started to get the same idea as Hoshi. Aang then said to Hoshi. "Is the definition of genius different in your world?"

"No. Now listen up, we don't have much time." Hoshi said as he told them the new plan. A few minutes later the rest of the Fire Sages appeared and Shyu said to all of them as Aang and the others hid behind the pillars. "Come quickly! The Avatar has entered the Sanctuary!"

"How did he get in?"

"I don't know, but look at the scorch marks, and down there." Shyu said, pointing at a shadow on the floor. "He's inside. Open the doors immediately before he contacts Avatar Roku." The old man said as all of the Fire Sages got ready. Aang and Phaedrus were to focus on the door, they didn't see shadows moving closer to them. The Fire Sages then joined together and fired fire blasts into all of the dragon's mouths. That unlocked the door and inside was just Momo. That's when they realized it was a trick, it was too late. Momo jumped onto the old Sage and the rest were ambuss and pinned down by all Shyu and the others. Hoshi then gave Aang the signal. "Now Aang!" But Aang didn't move. Katara then yelled to Aang. "Aang, now's your chance!"

"The Avatar's coming with me." Zuko said, stepping out from behind the pillar holding Aang's hand behind Aang's back. "Don't you mean us?" Alex said, stepping out with a bag that most likely had Phaedrus inside. The others were so shocked that they loosen their grip and were too focused on Aang, that the Fire Sages took this chance and pinned them. Only Momo escaped, and he had the old Sages hat. Alex then said to Zuko. "We got what we came for, so let's get out of here."

"Agreed. But just in case. Close the doors, quickly!" Zuko said as the Fire Sages chained Shyu and all of Aang's friends to a pillar, and put all of the Bakugan in a bag. Aang wasn't going to let this end here. He used his skill to escape Zuko's grasp, grab the bag with Phaedrus inside from Alex, and Airbend both of them down the stairs. Aang then ran to his friends, whose hands were bound behind their backs. Katara saw him and yelled. "Go!"

"We'll be fine." Hoshi said and Aang started to run at the closing door. The old Fire Sages and one not doing anything tried to stop him, but he just jumped over them and entered the door just as it closed behind them. Shyu and all of Aang's friends smiled as a mystery light surrounded the door. It only lasted a second, but the Fire Sages had a feeling what it was. Inside the room, Aang let Phaedrus out of the bag. They both then looked at the statue of Roku and saw that the light hit it. Phaedrus then said to Aang. "The light hits the statue, and you talk to Roku, right?"

"Yeah, so why isn't anything happening?" Aang said as they tried to figure out what to do next. Outside of the room, Zuko and the other Fire Sages worked together and tried to open the door. And even though they all hit all of the mouths at the same time, the door didn't open. "Why isn't it working? It's sealed shut." Zuko said, looking at the door. The old man then said to Zuko. "It must have been the light. Avatar Roku doesn't want us inside."

"We'll see about that." Alex said with Ryerazu in his normal mode behind him. The old man then said to Alex. "Stop! You do not understand the power of Avatar Roku."

"I am not scared of a dead guy. Now be quiet and stand back if you don't want to be caught in the crossfire." Alex said as Zuko and the Fire Sages got out of the way. "Go Ryerazu, Piercing Flames!" Alex said and Ryerazu released a steam of fire from his center mouth. The stream end turned into an arrow and it hit the door. But the door collected Ryerazu attack and shot it back at Ryerazu. Alex ducked and the attack hit Ryerazu, knocking him down. (Ryerazu 300) Alex then called Ryerazu back and got a little mad. Inside the room, Aang and Phaedrus were still looking at the statue and Aang said, looking at the light. "Why isn't anything happening?"

"What if the light hits Roku's face? That might be the key?" Phaedrus said as she flew close to the statue. The light then hit Roku's face and his eyes started to glow. Phaedrus flew back to Aang as the room turned into a rocky valley and standing in front of them was Roku, who had a red robe and white hair. Roku then said to them. "It's nice to meet you, Phaedrus. And it's good to see you Aang. What took you so long?"

"A lot of things, Avatar Roku." Phaedrus said as she and Aang bowed their heads with respect. Outside, Zuko said to Shyu as the other Fire Sages watched. "Why did you help the Avatar?"

"Because it is and always will be the Sage's duty to help the Avatar, not the Fire Lord." Shyu said before they all heard someone clapping. Zuko and Alex turned around and saw Zhao with a lot of Firebender soldiers. Zhao looked at all of them and said. "What a moving and heartfelt performance. I'm certain the Fire Lord will understand when you explain why you betrayed him."

"How did you find us?" Alex said as the Fire Sages bowed their heads. Zuko and Alex were then pinned by more Firebender soldiers from behind. Zhao then said to them. "It was a noble effort, but such a little smokescreen wouldn't work on me. Two traitors, four hex's with monsters and the Avatar in one day. The Fire Lord will be pleased."

"You're too late, Zhao. The Avatar is inside, and the doors are sealed." Zuko said as he and Alex were chained to a pillar too. Zhao then said as he looked at the door. "No matter. Sooner or later, he has to come out."

"Oh no." Hoshi said as he and all of Aang's friends were starting to worry. Inside the room, Roku started to talk to Aang and Phaedrus. "I have something very important to tell you both, Aang, Phaedrus. That is why, when you both were in the Crossroads, I sent my Dragon, Fang, to find you."

"Is it about that comet your dragon showed us?" Phaedrus said and then Roku nodded yes. Aang then said to him. "What does it mean?"

"Hundred years ago, Fire Lord Sozin used that comet to begin the war. He and his Firebending army harnessed its incredible power and not only dealt a deadly first strike against the other Nations. But used its power to destroy all of the Airbenders." Roku said, causing Aang to feel sad. Phaedrus saw how sad that made Aang and gave him a hug. Aang smiled and then said to Roku. "So the comet made them stronger?"

"Stronger than you could even imagine."

"But that happened a hundred years ago." Phaedrus said before Aang said. "Yeah, so what dose the comet have to do with the war now?"

"Listen carefully. Sozin's Comet will return by the end of this summer, and Fire Lord Ozai will use it's power to finish the war once and for all. If he succeeds, even the Avatar won't be able to restore balance to the world. Aang, Phaedrus, you two must defeat the Fire Lord before the comet disappears for another hundred years."

"No pressure." Phaedrus said before Aang said to Roku. "Ok, but I have barely trained with Phaedrus. I also haven't even started learning Waterbending, not to mention Earth and Fire."

"Mastering the elements takes years of discipline and practice, but if the world is to survive, you must do it by summer's end." Roku said and his words scared Aang to his very core. Outside Zhao and his Firebenders were ready and waiting for Aang to open the door. Katara said to her friends. "How's Aang gonna make it out of this?"

"How are we going to make it out of this?" Sokka said before Hoshi said as he was trying to free his hands. "If only we could roll out our Bakugan." Back in the room Aang had more questions for Roku. "What if I can't master all the Elements in time? What if I fail?"

"I know you can do it, Aang, for you have done it before. And you have a power that only the first Avatar ever had."

"You mean me, right?" Phaedrus said and Roku nodded yes. Roku then said to them. "The Solstice is ending. We must go our separate ways for now."

"But I won't be able to come back to the temple. What if I have questions? How will I talk to you?" Aang said before Roku said. "I am a part of you. When you need to talk to me again, you will find a way." Roku showed Aang Zhao ships outside and Zhao getting ready to destroy him. "A great danger awaits you at the temple. I can help you both face the threats, but only if you both are ready."

"We're ready." Aang and Phaedrus said together as both of their eyes, and Aang's tattoos started to glow. Outside the light appeared on the door again and once it was gone, the door started to open. "Ready…" Zhao said as everyone saw two pairs of glowing eyes in the room. As Aang's friends tried to free themselves, Katara yelled at Aang. "No! Aang!"

"FIRE!" Zhao said as he and all of the Firebenders fired fire at Aang and Phaedrus, but someone was bending the fire around them. Zhao and the Firebenders stopped, only for all of them to not only see Avatar Roku and Phaedrus, who was in her normal form and gold now, not green. Everyone was very very surprised. "Avatar Roku!" Shyu said before Miguel said. "And an Aurelus Bakugan!" (Phaedrus 700)

As Roku got rid of the flames, while Phaedrus set herself on fire. She then flew past everyone, knocking Zhao, his troops, the Fire Sages down, and burning the chain away. Aang's friends were too shocked to move, but not Zuko and Alex. They got out of there before everyone else. After Phaedrus made a hole in the temple wall, Roku looked at the Fire Sages and the Fire Sages realized they had angered him. The temple then started to shake, and that caused everyone to start running for the exit. Shyu then said to Aang's friends. "Avatar Roku is going to destroy the temple."

"And Phaedrus is destroying the island." Hoshi said, looking out of the hole Phaedrus made. Outside Phaedrus was firing lasers everywhere and each hit not only destroyed a part of the island, but caused the magma to shoot out of the volcano or from the holes she was making. Roku wasn't holding back either. He caused magma to explode like a gusher inside the temple. The only ones in the temple were Aang's friends, holding onto one another. Soon Phaedrus returned to Roku, and the Solstice was finally over. Roku turned back to Aang and Phaedrus turned back to green before going back into ball form. Katara got up and said. "Aang!"

"Are you ok?" Hoshi said as they all ran to him. "That felt weird." Aang said as he fell down. Sokka and Miguel grabbed him and Saida grabbed Phaedrus. Sokka then said as they started to move to the stairs. "We got your back."

"Thanks. Where's Shyu?" Aang said before Miguel said. "We don't know."

"Guy! We have a problem!" Hoshi said, looking at the stairs. They all got to the stairs, only to see them destroyed by the magma. Saida and Miguel were going to roll out Pyravian and Eenoch, so they could fly away. But Appa appeared with Momo, who was wearing the Fire Sages hat. They all jumped out of the hole and landed on Appa. As they flew away, Zhao saw them and said. "No prince, no hex with monsters, and no Avatar. Apparently the only things I do have are five traitors and destroyed Fire Nation land." Zhao was looking at all of the Fire Sages chained in iron cuffs. The old man then said to Zhao. "But, commander, only Shyu helped the Avatar."

"Save your stories for the Fire Lord. As far as I'm concerned, you are all guilty. Take them to the prison hold!" Zhao said and his soldiers followed his orders. Thanks to all of the destruction Phaedrus caused, Zuko and Alex were able to escape and reunite with Iroh safely. For Aang and the others, they were fly through the night sky. During the ride, Aang told them everything Roku told him. Once they heard that, they all knew the fun and games were over. And by summer's end, the world was going to change, one or another.
