Brawl 1 Water: Chapter 9 The Waterbending Scroll and Fireforge Weapons
Hello everyone, sorry for the late posting, but I've been busy with stuff and I got a new idea for a story. But I need your help a little. To understand, please look at Kamen Rider Ideas on my author page. Now on with the story.
In the air the following day, Aang was walking back and forth on Appa's saddle. Everyone, but Sokka who was driving Appa, was watching him. Sokka was the only one to break the tension, by saying. "Would you sit down?! If we hit a bump, you'll go flying off!"
"Sokka will you come down. This is all stressful for Aang." Phaedrus said before Aang said. "Phaedrus, you heard what Avatar Roku said. I'm supposed to master all 4 elements before that comet arrives."
"Well, let's see. You pretty much mastered Airbending, and that only took you 112 years. I'm sure you can master 3 more elements by next summer." Sokka said and that freaked Aang out even more. Hoshi walked up to Sokka and after hitting him on the head said. "That does not help him, you rock for brains."
"Hey!" Sokka said as Hoshi took the reins. As Sokka went back to the others, Saida said to Aang. "We know that, but what we don't know is why you are panicking?"
"I haven't even started Waterbending, and we're still weeks away from the North Pole. What am I gonna do?!" Aang said to them and Miguel said. "That is a good reason to panic."
"There is never a good reason to panic, Miguel." Hoshi said to Miguel before Hoshi said to Aang. "Aang, I have an idea that might help you learn a little Waterbending now."
"Really, how?!"
"Katara has been teaching me what she knows about Waterbending. I'm sure she can help you learn a little about Waterbending before we reach the North Pole." Hoshi said and Katara said. "That's a great idea Hoshi, I am ok with teaching Aang the things I know."
"You'd do that?" Aang said and Katara nodded yes. Phaedrus then said to Aang. "See, you have great friends here Aang."
"Now we need to find a good source of water first." Katara said as everyone, but Sokka was looking for a water source. Sokka then said to them. "Maybe we can find a puddle for you to splash in."
"I found one." Hoshi said as he landed Appa next to a big waterfall. "Nice puddle." Sokka said as everyone started to do something. The Bakugan in their big form and Appa were in the water, enjoying a bath. Saida and Miguel were checking their gear and food supplies. Hoshi, Katara and Aang were going to do Waterbending practice, but as soon as Phaedrus and Appa entered the water, he was going to join them. The only reason he stopped was thanks to Katara saying. "Remember the reason we're here."
"Oh, right. Time to practice Waterbending." Aang said and Sokka said to them. "Great. So, what am I supposed to do?"
"You could clean the gunk out of Appa's toes." Aang said giving Sokka a tree branch. Sokka looked at the branch and said. "So, while you guys are playing in the water. I'm supposed to be hard at work picking mud out of a giant Bison's feet?"
"Mud and bugs." Aang said and Sokka agreed to do it. At sea on Zuko ship, Zuko was practicing fighting a Bender with a Bakugan. Aka, sparring with Alex and Ryerazu. The sparring was going well, until the ship changed direction. Alex said to Zuko, as Ryerazu returned to Ball Form and they caught themselves. "What just happened?"
"Someone had just changed our course." Zuko said as they walked up to the bridge. There Zuko said to Helmsman. "What's the meaning of this mutiny? No one told you to change course?"
"Actually, someone did. I assure you, it is a matter of utmost importance, Prince Zuko." Iroh said as he and some of the crew were playing a game of Pai Sho on the bridge. Alex looked at Iron and said. "Why did you change our course, Master Iroh?"
"Is it something to do with the Avatar?" Zuko said before Iroh said. "Even more urgent. It seems I– I've lost my Lotus Tile."
"Lotus Tile?" Zuko said as Iroh made his move. Alex said to Zuko. "That Lotus Tile is insignificant to most people, but it is an important part of Master Iroh's unusual strategy for his Pai Sho game. I'm surprised you lost it."
"It surprised me too." Iroh said as he made his move. Zuko pushed Alex away and said to Iroh. "You've changed our course for a stupid Lotus Tile?"
"See, you, like most people, underestimate its value. Just give me 10 minutes to check the merchants at this port of call. Hopefully, they'll have the Lotus Tile in stock and I can get on with my life." Iroh said before Zuko released a breath of smoke. As Alex opened a window to let the smoke out, Iroh said with a big smile. "I'm lucky to have such an understanding nephew."
"Yeah, understanding." Alex said as he opened more windows. Back at the waterfall, as the others were doing their jobs, Katara was showing Aang and Hoshi some of her Waterbending skills. "This is a pretty basic move, but it still took me months to perfect."
"The trick you showed me when we started training?" Hoshi said before Katara said. "Correct Hoshi, now watch and learn Aang. Also, don't be frustrated if you don't get it right away." Katara then started to do push and pull techniques on the water. That technique caused some of the water to make a small wave. "Just push and pull the water like this. The key is getting the wrist movement right."
"Like this?" Aang said as he and Hoshi did what Katara was doing. Hoshi already had some training, so he was able to do it. Aang on the other hand, had mastered the wave trick and was bigger then Katara's and Hoshi's waves. Katara looked at him and said. "Wow! I can't believe you got that so quickly. It took me two months to learn that move."
"And two weeks for me." Hoshi said before Aang said to them. "Well, you had to figure it all out on your own, Katara. And Hoshi, it was just beginner's luck with a little help from a great teacher." That made them both happy and then Aang said. "So what next?"
"This is a more difficult move. I call it "Streaming the Water." Katara said as she pulled some water out of the river and brought it close to herself. Hoshi tried to do it too, but he couldn't. Katara turned to Hoshi and said. "It's fine if you and Aang can't do it. It may look simple, but it is much harder than it looks."
"Really?" Hoshi said pointing at Aang, who had done the Streaming the Water. Plus he was doing a bit of flair. Katara let water fall as Aang put the water back into the river. Hoshi walked away and Katara said to Aang. "Nice work. Though the over-the-head flair was unnecessary."
"Sorry. Well, don't stop now. Keep them coming." Aang said too excited about his Waterbending training to see that he was making Katara and Hoshi a little jealous. Katara sighed and said. "Well, I kind of know this one other move, but it's pretty hard. The idea is to create a big, powerful wave." Katara tried to make a wave, but she couldn't make one. Aang, on the other hand, made a giant wave. That really got under Katara and Hoshi's skin and the wave hit Sokka, Appa, and the Bakugan. After the wave was gone, everyone looked at Aang and Aang said to Katara. "Looks like I got the hang of that move. What else do you have?"
"That's enough practice for today." Katara said before Saida walked over to them and said. "Well, since training is done, we need to go into town. Our food supplies are low and some of our gear needs to be replaced."
"Ok, Sokka are you going to come with us?" Aang said, looking at Sokka, who was still in the water and a little mad. "My life was hard enough when you were just an Airbender." Sokka said as he went under the water. They went to a town that was down the river with Phaedrus, Pyravian and Eenoch flew them close too. They didn't take Appa, because they let Appa get some rest and Centipod, who was still in giant form, was keeping an eye on the campsite, but not Momo, because Momo was with Aang. In the town, they did ignore thugs and people trying con other people. After some shopping, Sokka said to Miguel, who was holding the money. "Miguel, we got exactly 3 copper pieces left from the money that King Bumi gave us?"
"No, we have 2 copper pieces." Miguel said, looking away. Saida looked at Miguel and said. "How are we at 2 copper pieces? My math said we should be at 3 copper pieces?"
"Well, Aang found this whistle, and with how well Waterbending practice went. I thought he derived it." Miguel said as Aang showed off the whistle, that looked like a sky bison. Aang then blew air into it, but the air hissed. Sokka looked at it and said. "It doesn't even work."
"Or it's made for a frequency we can't hear. Still, new rule, I'll handle the money from now on." Saida said as she took the money from Miguel. As they were almost done with their shopping, they passed by the harbor and heard a shady male merchant saying. "Earth Nation! Fire Nation! Water Nation! So long as bargains are your inclination, you're welcome here! Don't be shy. Come on by!" The merchant then saw Aang and the others. He ran up to them and said. "You six, I can see from your clothing that you're world traveling types. Perhaps I can interest you in some exotic curios?"
"Sure! What are curios?" Aang said and the merchant said after thinking for a few seconds. "I'm not entirely sure, but we got them." The merchant wrapped his arm around Aang and they both went into the ship. Sokka then said to the others. "You know, would it kill Aang to be a little more cautious around strangers?"
"I can't argue there, Sokka." Hoshi said as they all went on to the ship. Inside the ship were all kinds of ideas from weapons to fancy clothes. Everything was going fine, until the ship's captain, who looked like a classic male pirate, walked into the room and said looking at Momo. "I've never seen such a fine specimen of lemur. That beast would fetch me a hefty sum if you'd be interested in bartering."
"Momo's not for sale." Aang said as he took Momo into his chest and Phaedrus flew in front of them. Back with the others, Katara and Hoshi found a scroll with the Water Tribe symbol on it. Katara opened it and what they both saw was Waterbending skills. Katara then said to Aang. "Look at this, Aang! It's a Waterbending Scroll."
"Yeah, check out these crazy moves." Hoshi said before Aang said to the captain. "Where did you get a Waterbending Scroll?"
"Let's just say I got it up north at a most reasonable price, free." The captain said as he took the scroll and rolled it up. "Hey, what makes these weapons special?" Miguel said as he and Saida were looking at a class case that had two weapons. One was an ax with a circular blade connected to the handle and had an opening in the center that someone could grab the handle from the blade. The other one was a spear and its blade was a sharp point and had a handle that was separated from the handle. The only thing the two weapons had in common was a fire like patterns on the handles. The captain put the scroll away and said looking at them. "They are made by a famous Fire Nation blacksmith. If you want to know who, then it's going to cost you 10 gold."
"He sure is greedy." Hoshi said before Sokka got an idea. "Wait a minute. Sea-loving traders with suspiciously acquired merchandise, a love for gold, and pet reptile birds?" Sokka then turned to the merchant and said. "You guys are pirates!"
"We prefer to think of ourselves as high-risk traders." The merchant said with a big smile. Katara looked at the scroll, before she said to the captain. "So, how much for the traded scroll?"
"I've already got a buyer, a nobleman in the Earth Kingdom. Unless, of course, you kid have 200 gold pieces on you right now." The captain said with a greedy smile. "I know how to deal with these guys, Katara. Pirates love to haggle."
"Good luck." Saida said as she gave the money to Aang. Aang tried to haggle, but only an idiot with no sense of business would sell a scroll that is worth 200 gold for 2 choppers, and the captain was no such idiot. "Let go Aang." Hoshi said as he grabbed Aang and they all left the ship. Aang looked at Hoshi and said. "What was that all about, Hoshi?"
"Yeah, I was just starting to browse through their boomerang collection." Sokka said before Hoshi said. "We need to get back to the camp now!"
"Why?" Saida said before the merchant said. "Hey you! Get back here!"
"Well, well. Looks who's come to their senses. Told you the haggling would pay off." Aang said as Hoshi got in front of Katara and Katara took a few steps back. Sokka noticed that, but what caught all of their attention was the pirates getting ready to attack them. "Run!" Sokka said as they started to run away from the pirates. The pirates split into two groups and tried to surround them. The first pirate group didn't do too well. Katara and Hoshi created an ice patch that caused the pirates to slip and fall. Down the way was the cabbages merchant that the gang saw when they were visiting Omashu. The gang did go around the merchant's cart, but Aang used it to knock out the pirates. "My cabbages! This place is worse than Omashu!" The cabbage merchant said before leaving the area. As for Aang and the others, the pirates had chased them into a dead end and the merchant pirate said to them. "Now, who gets to taste the steel of blades first?"
"Aang roll me out!" Phaedrus said before turning into a ball. Aang grabbed her and rolled her out. "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand!" Aang said as Phaedrus grew big and that scared the pirates. "Get on!" Phaedrus said and they all got on her. She then flew away with the pirates too shocked to move. Once they were back at the campsite, Aang said to the others as Phaedrus returned to her small mode. "I used to kind of look up to pirates, but those guys are terrible."
"I know. That's why I took this." Katara said, showing them the Waterbending Scroll. All of them were surprised, but not Hoshi. Saida noticed that and said. "Hoshi! You knew about this?"
"Yes I did." Hoshi said before Sokka said. "No wonder they were trying to hack us up. You both stole their Waterbending Scroll."
"I prefer to think of it as high-risk trading." Katara said and Aang laughed. Hoshi then said to Sokka. "Beside Sokka, we need this more than a group of greedy pirates, who stole this scroll from Waterbending."
"It doesn't matter. You both put all of our lives in danger just so you could learn some stupid, fancy splashes." Sokka said, causing his sister to get mad. But before Katara could say anything, Hoshi said to Sokka. "Sokka, face the facts. We are always in some form of danger. This scroll can help all of us learn some real Waterbending forms. No offense Katara."
"Non taken." Katara said before Hoshi continued. "So you can either go somewhere less, or take a seat."
"Fine!" Sokka said as he found a rock, took a seat and all of them watched Katara, Hoshi and Aang start their Waterbending training. Back at the town, Zuko's ship had docked and Iroh had looked around for his new Lotus Tile. Zuko and Alex followed him and after a few hours, Iroh said to them. "I've checked all the shops on this pier. Not a Lotus Tile in the entire marketplace."
"It's good to know this trip was a complete waste of time for everyone!" Zuko said before Iroh said. "Quite the contrary. I always say the only thing better than finding something you are looking for is finding something you weren't looking for at a great bargain." Then some of their soldiers walked past them as they were going to the ship with boxes full of objects. Alex looked at the last object, which was a fancy musical horn, and said. "Why did you buy a fancy horn?"
"It's a Sungi Horn, and it's for music night on the ship. Now, if we only had some woodwinds." Iroh said before he saw the pirates ship. "Oh, this place looks promising." Iroh said as they went inside the pirate ship. On the ship, Iroh found a monkey statue with red jewels for eyes and around its neck. Iroh wanted to buy it, and before Zuko or Alex could talk him out of buying it. They heard the captain say to his men. "How could you all lose six kids?"
"How could we know that the little Hex monk could summon a giant green dragon?" One of the all male pirates crew said, and that caught Zuko and Alex's attention. "This Hex monk? Was he bald and had an arrow on his head?" Zuko said and soon they would all be working together. Back at the camp, Katara gave Aang the scroll and said. "Here, hold it open for me. I just want to try this one move first, then it's all yours."
"But not before me." Hoshi said before Katara got ready. Before Katara did anything, Sadia said to her. "What move are you doing?"
"The Single Water Whip." Katara said as she pulled some water out of the river. But the movements were wrong, so the water hit Katara in the face. "My turn." Hoshi said, pushing Katara out of the way. But like Katara, Hoshi hit himself in the head too, Sokka then laughed at them and Katara said. "What's so funny."
"I'm sorry, but you two deserve that." Sokka then turned to Aang. "You've been duped. They are only interested in teaching themselves."
"No, because it is Aang's turn." Hoshi said as he took the scroll from Aang and Katara stepped away from the river. Katara and Hoshi secretly hoped Aang would have a problem with it. But he didn't have any problem with the Water Whip. Hoshi gave Saida the scroll and joined Katara at the river. They both tried to use the water whip, but each time they didn't get it and the whip hit them. Katara then yelled in frustration. "Ugh! Why can't we get this stupid move?!"
"You two will get it. You've just gotta shift your weight though the stances." Aang said as he walked over and did it again. "There. See? The key to Bending is—"
"Will you please shut your air hole! Believe it or not, your infinite wisdom gets a little old sometimes! Why don't we just throw the scroll away since you're so naturally gifted?!" Hoshi yelled at Aang. That shocked everyone, and a few seconds later Hoshi noticed Aang was about to cry. Hoshi took a deep breath and said. "I'm sorry Aang. I just lost my temper."
"Maybe that's enough practice for the day." Miguel said before Saida said. "Good idea Miguel. And maybe I should hold onto this scroll for a little while." Saida then put the scroll into her bag. "Now who wants dinner?" Saida said as they started to make dinner plans. But at the town, Zuko and the pirates came to an agreement. Zuko would get Aang, his friend and the Bakugan. The pirates would get the scroll back. This deal helped Zuko side more than the pirates side, only because the pirates didn't know that Aang was the Avatar. Zuko, Iroh, Alex and the pirates captain were on Zuko boat and the pirates followed on their boat. On Zuko's boat, Alex was driving the boat, Iroh was with him and Zuko was on the deck. The pirate captain came up to Zuko and said. "Shouldn't we stop to search the woods?"
"We don't need to stop. Because they stole a Waterbending Scroll, then they will be training with it on the water." Zuko said as both boats started to go down the river. Back at the campsite, Aang and the others had dinner and after the sun went down, they were catching some sleep. However, only two people weren't sleeping, and that was Katara and Hoshi. They had woken up way earlier than the others, stealing the scroll from Saida bag and went far away from their campsite to train. That training didn't help Katara or Hoshi master the Water Whip. But it did help Zuko and the pirates find them. Katara took the scroll and said. "Let's go back, Hoshi. It's almost dawn."
"Fine." Hoshi said as they heard a boat dock on the beach. They both went to see the both and saw Zuko boat was the one that docked. That caused them to run, but Katara ran into pirates. Hoshi got Katara away from them and in the heat of the moment, Waterbended the water out of the river and hit all of them in the face. But they were distracted by the pirates, they didn't see Zuko's men until they grabbed them and tied them to a tree. Alex and Zuko made themselves known and Alex said to them as he picked up the scroll. "Thanks for the scroll."
"You're not welcome." Hoshi said as he tried to break free, but it didn't work. Zuko then got close to Katara and said. "Tell me where he is, and I won't hurt you on your brother or you friends."
"Go jump in the river." Katara said before Hoshi said. "And go down a waterfall."
"Be quite Hex." Zuko said, looking at Hoshi. Zuko then turned to Katara and said. "Try to understand, I need to capture him to restore something I've lost, my honor. Perhaps in exchange, I can restore something you've lost." Zuko then showed Katara her mothers necklace. Katara gasped and said. "My mother's necklace. How did you get that?!"
"We found it in the remains of the Earthbending prison you guys destroyed." Alex said as he was playing with the scroll in his hands. The captain then said to Zuko and Alex. "Enough of this necklace garbage. You promised the scroll."
"I wonder how much money this is worth." Zuko said as he created a little fire in his right hand. Alex moved then scroll to the fire and the closer it got to the fire, the more the pirates panicked. Alex then pulled the scroll away from the fire and said to Zuko. "A lot, apparently."
"Good. Now, you help me find what I want, you'll get this back, and everyone goes home happy. Search the woods for the boy and meet back here." Zuko said and the pirates did what Zuko said. Back at the campsite, everyone woke up after Sokka said. "Where's Katara and Hoshi?"
"Wherever they are, they are with the scroll." Saida said as she showed them her bag. Aang jumped up and said. "I'm sure they'll be back soon. So let's pack up camp and wait for them." They agreed, but even after, Katara and Hoshi didn't return. Aang then said to everyone. "Ok, I'm starting to get worried."
"Me too. Let's go find them." Centipod said, but stopped when Aang said to the Bakugan. "Why don't you and the others stay here with Appa? Saida, Sokka, Miguel and I will go looking for them."
"You got it Aang." Phaedrus said as Aang, Sokka, Saida, and Miguel went into the forest. After walking for a few minutes, they all stopped and Saia said. "Ok, something is wrong here."
"But what?" Miguel said before a net appeared out of nowhere and almost Aang. "Ambush!" Sokka yelled and more nets appeared. Aang was doing well, until he saw Saida and Miguel get caught in nets. That was the opening the pirates used to hit Aang with a net. As the pirates dragged them all away, Sokka then said out loud. "Oh, what? I'm not good enough to kidnap?" The pirates then kidnap Sokka. The pirates then took them out of the net and wrapped their hands with rope. When they reached the spot Zuko and his men were waiting for the pirates, Aang, Sokka, Saida and Miguel saw Katara and Hoshi tied to the tree. Katara looked at Aang and said. "Aang, I'm sorry. This is all my fault."
"No. This is my fault." Hoshi said before Aang said. "It isn't your fault guys."
"Yeah, it kind of is." Iroh said before Zuko said to the pirate captain. "Give me the boy."
"You give us the scroll." The captain said to Zuko. With what they just said, Sokka figured out the deal and came up with an idea. "You're really gonna hand over the Avatar for a stupid piece of parchment?" Sokka said and Zuko realized what Sokka was doing. "Don't listen to him. He's just trying to turn us against each other." Zuko said, but the pirates didn't listen. The captain looked at Aang and said. "Your friend is the Avatar?"
"Sure is. And I'll bet he'll fetch a lot more on the Black Market than that fancy scroll." Sokka said before Zuko yelled. "Shut your mouth, you Water Tribe Peasant!"
"Yeah, Sokka, you really should shut your mouth." Aang said not seeing the opportunity. But Saida and Miguel did. Saida then said to all of them. "But it's just bad business sense."
"Yeah, heck. If the pirates sold you to the Fire Lord, then they would be sent for life." Miguel said and that caused the pirates all to smile with their greed showing. The captain then said to Zuko. "Keep the scroll. We can buy 100 with the reward we'll get for the kid."
"You'll regret breaking a deal with me." Zuko said as he and his Firebenders attacked the pirates. The pirates dodged the attack and used smoke bombs to conceal their attacks with a smockscreen. As the pirate and Zuko troops fought, Momo appeared from the top of the tree that Katara and Hoshi were tied to. After Momo freed them, Katara said to Momo. "Thanks, Momo. We owe you a bushel of apples."
"Where are you going?" Alex said as he put the scroll behind his back and got ready to attack. But Hoshi's reflexes kicked in and he used the Water Whip. The attack right in the center of Alex's head. "Oh, that's smart!" Alex said as he fell down and rubbed his head. Katara was going to grab the scroll, but the pirate bird took it away. As Momo went after the scroll, Katara and Hoshi saw Zuko and the pirate captain attack one another. Katara and Hoshi decided it was time to go and they went around the smokescreen. Above the smokescreen, Momo and the bird fought, but they both lost the scroll into the smokescreen. Inside the smokescreen, Aang, Sokka, Saida and Miguel had free themselves with some of the weapons. Aang also tried to get rid of the smokescreen, but put it back when Aang realized that he was in the middle of both groups. Aang, Sokka, Saida and Miguel got out of the smokescreen and saw Katara and Hoshi trying to push the pirates boat into the water. When Aang saw them, he said to them. "Katara, Hoshi, you're both ok!"
"Help with this." Hoshi said as they all tried to push the boat into water, but it didn't work. Miguel then said as they all stepped away from the boat. "I wish we brought the Bakugan. They could get this boat into the water."
"Now we can do it." Aang said, looking at Katara and Hoshi. Katara and Hoshi got the idea and together they were able to Waterbend the boat into the river. Back with the battle, Iroh stopped Zuko and the captain from fighting. As Alex recovered from Hoshi Water Whip, Iroh said to Zuko and the captain. "Are you so busy fighting you cannot see your own ship has set sail?"
"We have no time for your proverbs, Uncle." Zuko said before Iroh said. "It's no proverb." Iroh pointed to the pirate ship and the capitan ran after it. Zuko laughed until he saw that the pirates had stolen his boat. As Zuko ran after his boat, Alex said to Iroh. "Still it would make a good proverb."
"Be quiet and follow me, you two." Zuko said as Alex and Iroh ran after Zuko. Back on the river, the pirates were catching up with them. Aang said to Sokka, who was driving this ship. "Sokka, can't you make this boat go any faster?"
"I don't know how. This thing wasn't made by the Water Tribe." Sokka said as the pirates reached their left side. "We are going to need this." Miguel said as he had the Fire Nation Ax and gave Saida the Fire Nation Spear. The pirates boarded onto the ship and they all fought back. Aang caused a wave to hit on deck, knocking down the pirates. Miguel swung the ax like a bat, and knocked the pirates away. Saida used the spear to knock away the pirates' weapons and swept them off the boat. Katara and Hoshi, using the water on the deck, hit some pirates away with the Water Whip. "Hey! You guys did the Water Whip." Aang said to them. Katara then said to Aang. "We couldn't have done it without your help."
"Will you three quit congratulating each other and help me out?" Sokka said as two pirates had a hold on him. In the air, Momo won his battle against the bird, by wrapping the bird in the flag. The last two pirates then threw Sokka on deck and laughed, until Aang Airbend them away. "Uh guys we have a problem!" Saida said, pointing at the waterfall they were heading for. Miguel then said as the pirates got back onto Zuko's boat and went in reverse. "I really wish Appa was here."
"That's it!" Aang said as he pulled out the whistle and blew into it. "Have you lost your mind? This is no time for flute practice!" Sokka said, getting up. Katara came up with an idea and said. "We can stop the boat. Aang, Hoshi, together. Push and pull the water." Together the three of them were able to Waterbend the water under the ship. That stopped them, but not Zuko's boat. Zuko's boat hit them and everyone was sent flying over the waterfall. Lucky for Aang and the gang, Appa appeared and caught everyone. As Aang showed off his whistle, and thanking Appa for the save. Zuko, Alex and Iroh arrived at the waterfall. Zuko was mad, and Iroh was laughing. Alex looked at Iroh and said. "Why are you laughing Master Iroh?"
"Well, you two will get a kick out of this. The Lotus Tile was in my sleeve the whole time!" Iroh said as she showed of the tiled. Zuko was going to grab it and throw it off the cliff, but Alex grabbed it first and said. "I better hold on to this for the time being." Back in the air, Katara said to Aang. "Aang, I still owe you an apology. You were just so good at Waterbending without really trying. I got so competitive that I put us all in danger. I'm sorry."
"Yeah, I'm sorry too, Aang." Hoshi said before Aang said. "That's ok, Katara, Hoshi." Katara then said, still a little sad. "Besides, who need that stupid scroll anyway?"
"Is that really how you feel?" Sokka said, showing all of them the Waterbending scroll. That surprised all of them, and Hoshi said to Sokka. "Where did you get that?"
"It fell on my head during the battle." Sokka said and Katara tried to take it. But Sokka stopped her and said. "First, what did you and Hoshi learn?"
"Stealing is wrong." Hoshi said as Katara took the scroll and then she said. "Unless it's from pirates."
"So true." Saida and Miguel said together, as they were looking at their new weapons. All of them, minus Sokka, who took the driver seat, then laughed as they flew away to their next adventure.
