Brawl 1 Water: Chapter 11 The Territory Divide
It has been over a month since the gang all left the South Pole, and they were setting up camp for the night. But after being together for so long and being too close to one another, tensions were running hot. Evident when Katara, Saida and Pyravian returned with some twigs for the fire and saw Sokka, Miguel and Eenoch finished with the tent. "Um, aren't you forgetting the tarp?" Katara said to Sokka. "Right. Got it." Sokka said as he gave the tarp to Miguel, who in turn threw it into the tent. Saida then said to them. "Guys, you're supposed to put the trap on the tent. You know, so we don't get rained on?"
"Ordinarily you'd be right, but seeing how it's the dry season, you're not." Sokka said before Miguel said. "Besides, that trap marks a pretty warm blanket."
"But what if it does rain?" Katara said before Sokka said. "What is it doesn't? Then we would have put the tarp up for nothing." Katara then said to them. "Uh! You both are infuriating."
"Ladies, why don't you two worry about gathering the firewood? Because that kindling looked pretty sorry." Sokka said and Katara yelled at them. "Well, if you don't like our firewood–" Katara and Saida then threw sticks at them in anger. Sokka and Miguel got up and Sokka said to them. "Fine by us! If you two are not gonna do your job–" Then they both took down the tent. And a few seconds later, Aang, Phaedrus, Hoshi, and Centipod returned to camp with food, and Aang said to everyone. "Ok, I got the grub if you guys got the–" They then noticed the mess and Aang said. "Hey, where's the campfire, and what happened to the tent?"
"Pyravian, Eenoch? What happened?" Hoshi said and they both Bakugan flew over to them. Eenoch was the first to speak. "They started fighting again after the girls got back with the firewood."
"And then they both destroyed their work after they insulted one another." Peruvian said and Hoshi sighed before saying. "They're still fighting?"
"Do you want to do your Avatar thing, partner?" Phaedrus said and Aang put down the food. Aang then walked over to them and said. "Ok, listen, guys. Harsh words won't solve problems. Action will. Why don't you just switch jobs?"
"Fine!" All of them said before they started to do the other's job. Aang then walked over to Hoshi and said. "You see that? Settling feuds and making peace. All in a day's work for the Avatar."
"Aang, I hate to burst your bubble, but their feud is getting worse by the day. We need to do something, before it spreads and something happens." Hoshi said before they heard Appa and Momo fighting over a big fruit. "Like that?" Centipod said before Hoshi said. "Kind of."
"Aang do you want to do something?" Phaedrus said to Aang. Aang then took the fruit, giving ¾ of it to Appa and ¼ to Momo. As Appa ate his fruit, Momo looked at Aang and Aang said to Momo. "Come on, Momo. That's fair. Appa's got 5 stomachs."
The following day, the gang had reached a canyon that was very deep and very long. "There it is, guys. The Great Divide." Aang said, as everyone took a look at it. Katara then said looking at it. "Wow. I could just stare at it forever."
"Yeah, it's very pretty." Saida said before Sokka said. "Ok. I've seen enough."
"Me too." Miguel said to them before he and Sokka started to walk back to Appa. The girls turned to them and Katara said to them. "How can you two not be fascinated? This is the largest canyon in the entire world."
"Then I'm sure we'll be able to see it very clearly from the air while we fly away." Sokka said as he was grabbing Appa rains. But then a guy in a white robe with a yellow design pattern pushed past Sokka and Miguel and said to them. "Hey, if you're looking for the canyon guide, I was here first."
"Ooh. Canyon guide. Sounds informative." Saida said before the guy said to them. "Believe me, he's more than a tour guide. He's an Earthbender, and the only way in and out of the canyon is with his help. And he's taking my tribe across next."
"Ok, but why are you in such a rush to get therw the canyon?" Hoshi said before the man said. "The Fire Nation destroyed my tribe's home and took all of our Hexagon Eye members. Now the remaining members of my tribe has to walk thousands of miles to the capital city of Ba Sing Se."
"You're a refugee." Katara said before the man said. "Huh. Tell me something I don't know."
"A big group of people are walking up behind you." Phaedrus said and they all turned around and saw a group of rough looking warriors with fur skin for clothes and the one leading them was a big female with her hair in two buns, a bear skinned clothes and carrying a big sword. "Is that your tribe?" Katara said before Pyravian said to Katara. "I don't think so. They don't look like they are from the same tribe."
"The small white talking bird is correct. That's the Zhang tribe, a bunch of lowlife thieves. They've been the enemies of my tribe for a hundred years." The guy then got the attention of the leader and said. "Hey, Zhangs! I'm saving a spot for my tribe, so don't even think of stealing it."
"Where are the rest of the Gan Jin? Still tidying up their campsite?" The Zhangs leader said to the guy and he said to her. "Yes, but they sent me ahead of them to hold a spot."
"I didn't know the canyon guide took reservations."
"Huh! Of course you didn't. That's the ignorance I'd expect from a messy Zhang, so unorganized and ill-prepared for a journey." The guy said and that caused the Zhang tribe to shout at the guy. All of the shouting stopped when the canyon guide, an old man who looked like a farmer appeared and removed rocks that were blocking a path into the canyon. He then brushed off the dust and said to everyone. "Sorry about the wait, youngsters. Who's ready to cross this here canyon?"
"Uh, one of them, I think." Katara said before pointing at the guy and the Zhang tribe. The guy rusted towards the canyon guide and said. "I was here first. My party's on their way."
"I can't guide people who aren't here." The canyon guide said before the leader of the Zhang said as she and the other members of the tribe walked up to the canyon guide. "Guess you guys will have to make the trip tomorrow."
"Wait! Here they come." The guy said pointing to a group of people that looked like him, and leading them was an old man with a long white beard. Soon Aang and the gang were in the middle of the Zhang and Gan Jin tribes. The leader of the Zhang then said to the canyon guide. "You're not seriously gonna cave in to this spoiled Gan Jins. I mean, we're refugees, too. And not only did we lose all of our Hexagon Eye members, but we've got sick people that need shelter."
"We've got old people who are weary from traveling." The leader of the Gan Jin said to the canyon guide. The leader of the Zhang then said to the Gan Jins. "Sick people get priority over old people."
"Maybe you Zhangs wouldn't have so many sick people if you weren't such slobs."
"If you Gan Jins weren't so clean, maybe you wouldn't live to be so old." The leader of the Zhang said before they started going back and forth with rude comments to the other side's way of living. Hoshi then pulled Aang away and said to him. "So Aang, do you want to put your peacemaking skills to the test?"
"I-I don't know. A fight over chores is one thing. These people have been feuding for hundred years." Aang said before Phaedrus said. "No, you got this partner." She then flew in between them and said in a very high volume. "Everyone listen up! My partner is the Avatar, and if you give him a chance, I'm sure he can come up with a compromise that will make everyone happy." Everyone looked at Aang and then Aang said to them. "Un, you could share the Earthbender and travel together?"
"Absolutely not. We'd rather be taken by the Fire Nation than travel with those stinking thieves." The leader of the Gan Jin said pointing his finger at the Zhang. The Zhang leader then pointed her finger at the Gan Jin and said. "We wouldn't travel with you pompous fools anyway."
"Aang, I know you don't like it, but you may need to raise your voice. A lot." Hoshi said as both tribes started arguing. Aang took a deep breath and then yelled at both tribes. "All right, here's the deal! You're all going down together, and Appa here will fly your sick and elderly across. Does that seem fair?" While both tribes hated one another, they saw that this was the quickest way to Ba Sing Se. So they agreed with Aang's plan. After helping the sick and elderly onto Appa, but they were on opposite sides on Appa's saddle. Before Appa left, Aang said to him. "Sorry, Appa. You'll have to do this on your own."
"But don't worry we will meet up with you soon, you big marshmello." Phadrus said, petting Appa's head along with Aang. They both stopped when Sokka and Miguel walked up to them and Miguel said to Aang. "Aang, this feuding tribe stuff is serious business. Are you sure it's a good idea getting involved in this?"
"To tell the truth, I'm not sure, but when have I ever been?"
"He's the Avatar, Miguel. Making peace between people is his job." Katara said before Sokka said looking at the canyon. "His job's gonna make us cross this whole thing on foot, isn't it?"
"Oh yeah." Miguel said, putting his arm around Sokka's shoulder. After that the canyon guide then said to everyone who was going in the canyon. "Ok, now comes the bad news. No food allowed in the canyon. It attracts dangerous predators." Then both tribes and Sokka complained about that rule. "Oh, you babies can go a day without food. Would you rather be hungry or dead? Now, we're heading down in 10 minutes. All food better be in your gut or in the garbage!" Then for those 10 minutes, everyone ate the food they were carrying, with the Zhangs eating like animals and the Gan Jins eating like they were at a high class restaurant. Aang sent Appa away with the sick and elderly.
As they went down the path. The Zhangs were in the back, the Gan Jins were in the middle and in front was Aang and the gang. The canyon guide led them and used his Earthbending to make paths. "Nice bending." Aang said as he and Phaedrus ran up to the canyon guide. The canyon guide then said to Aang and Phaedrus. "The job's much more than bending, kid. Folks want information."
"Like what?" Phaedrus said before the canyon guide stopped everyone and said. "Many of you are probably wondering how canyons are formed. Experts tell us this canyon was most likely carved into the ground by Earth Spirits, who were angry at local farmers for not offering them a proper sacrifice."
"Actually canyon's were made by–" Saida said, but stopped when boulders rushed towards them. And before anywho could do anything, the canyon guide bended them away. He then laughed and said. "Guess the spirits are still angry. Hope you all made sacrifices." No one laughed at the canyon guides joke. After that they walked to the bottom, and reached an area with three paths, the canyon guide stopped them as he destroyed the path he made. Aang looked at the canyon guide and said as dust covered the area they just walked there. "Why did you do that?"
"These people are fleeing the Fire Nation, aren't they? I've got to make sure we can't be followed. We'll be safe now." The canyon guide said and he was very wrong. Because something inside the dust grabbed him. Aang used his Airbending to clear the dust and they all saw four giant bugs with four wall crawling legs, a pincer-like mouth and had four eyes on each side of its face. "We've got to help him!" Sokka said before chucking his boomerang at the bug holding the canyon guide. The bug felt that and threw the canyon guide away, but then all of them were now going after Sokka. Sokka then ran and said. "Ok, now we've got to help me!"
"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand!" Aang, Hoshi, Saida and Miguel said as they each rolled out their Bakugan and each stopped a bug. (Phaedrus 600 / Centipod 600 / Pyravian 600 / Eenoch 600) The bugs did not like the Bakugan stopping them, so the bugs bit them with their mouths and slashed them with the claws on their feet quickly and with a lot of fury. This did cause the Bakugan some pain, but they were to throw high into a canyon wall. The bugs growled at them and then left to throw a not very visible hole in the wall. (Phaedrus 300 / Centipod 300 / Pyravian 300 / Eenoch 300) Aang then said to the canyon guide. "What was that?"
"Canyon Crawlers. Oh. And there's sure to be more." The canyon guide said as Katara was checking out his injuries. Hoshi turned to Katara and said. "Will he be ok?"
"Yes, but his arms… They are broken." Katara said as she and Saida started to patch up the canyon guide injuries. As they were doing that the canyon guide said in a panic. "Without my arms, I got no bending. In other words…"
"We're trapped in this canyon." Aang said before Hoshi said. "We are not trapped in this canyon. We have Phaedrus, Pyravian and Eenoch to fly us out. And while it will take a lot more time to get everyone out, we'll be fine."
"Uh…? Hoshi, I think we have a problem?" Centipod said and everyone turned to the Bakugan. Centipod then said to them. "I don't know why and I can't say for the others, but I've felt very weak since we entered the canyon."
"Truth be told, I feel weak too. But it is not as bad as Centipod." Pyravian said and then Eenoch said. "I feel the same as Pyravian."
"Really? I feel fine." Phaedrus said before Saida said. "Interesting. I'll have to look into what causes this effect."
"I'm glad you're interested, Saida. But shouldn't you use that fat head of your took figure out why those Canyon Crawlers attacked us." Miguel said before Saida turned to him and said. "Did you just call me fat?"
"All right break it up before it starts." Hoshi said getting in between them. They stopped and then the Bakugan returned to their user, Hoshi said to them. "Thank you, and to answer your question, Miguel. They must have been attracted to something, mostly food that people have snuck in."
"It's the Zhangs. They took food down here even after the guide told them not to." The leader of the Gin Jins said before the leader of the Zhangs said. "What? If there's anywho can't go without food for a day, it's these pampered Gan Jins."
"I hope you're happy. We're stuck in this canyon with no way out."
"Why don't you thank yourself, food-hider?"
"Look, sticking together is the only way to–" Aang said, stepping between the leaders, then the leader of the Zhangs stopped him by saying. "I'm not walking another step with the likes of them."
"Now there's something we can agree on." The leader of the Gan Jins said before Aang turned to Hoshi and said. "Any ideas?"
"First things first. We need to keep walking and reach the other side of this canyon. And since they don't want to travel together. The Gan Jins will take the right path, with Katara, Saida and Pyravian. The Zhangs will take the left path, with Sokka, Miguel and Eenoch. While you, me, Phaderus, Centipod, and our now sacred canyon guide will take the middle path. We should all reach the wall around the same time."
"Ok, but what about the wall?"
"We will deal with that when we get there. Now, does anyone have a problem with that plan?" Hoshi said and no one argued with his plan. As the Zhangs and Gan Jins started to go down their paths. Aang stopped his friends and said. "Can you guys see why they hate each other so much?"
"Ok." Pyravian and Eenoch said for their respective parties. As they walked through the canyon, there wasn't any trouble from the Canyon Crawlers or anything else in the canyon. And shortly after sunset, everyone was making camp, including Aang, Hoshi, Phaedrus and Centipod, because they didn't have any camping supplies. At the Zhangs camp Sokka and Miguel help with some of the tents and Sokka said to the leader. "So you guys aren't gonna put up your tarps?"
"What for? It's the dry season. Besides, we like to use the trap as a blanket." The leader said before Miguel said. "Exactly! Finally someone gets it."
"Oh, all say." Sokka said they both had a smile on their faces. At the Gan Jins camp, Katara and Saida were doing the same thing as Sokka and Miguel were doing, but there was one major difference. They were putting up the traps. "Do you really think it'll rain?" Katara said to the leader and the leader said to her. "No, but you can never be too careful, right?"
"You're exactly right." Saida said as a smile appeared on Katara and Saida's face. Later that night in the Gan Jins camp, everyone gathered around the fire in silence before they revealed that they had hidden food. "Would you care for some bread, Katara, Saida, Pyravian?"
"So it was you guys who had food." Katara said before Saida said to the leader. "Why did you do that?"
"Oh, come now. Do you really think that tribe of thieves isn't smuggling food? Why should my people go hungry when the sneaky Zhangs are stuffing their faces?"
"Well, I guess it's ok if everyone's doing it." Katara said before she and Saida took the bread. As everyone was eating, Pyravian turned to the leader and said. "So why does your tribe hate the Zhangs so much?"
"You all seem like smart young ladies. I bet you would enjoy hearing some history." The leader then said to tell the Gan Jin side of the feud. "The patriarch of our tribe, Ghin Wai, was an Earthbending warrior. Who was assigned an important duty:" Ghin Wai looked like a grand and noble looking leader. "Transporting our sacred orb from the great eastern gate to the great western gate." His people gave Ghin Wai a purple sphere with an orange spiral inside and after the light shined through the gate and onto the orb. Ghin Wai started to run to the west gate. "Taking the orb from the east to the west represents the sun's rising and setting. It was our tribe's ancient redemption ritual. But as he approached the gate, Ghin Wai was attacked by one of the Zhangs–" Then a rogue looking Zhangs attacked Ghin Wai. Causing him to fall and the orb to get launched into the air. The Zhang caught it and held it with an evil smile. "A vermin named Wai Ghin, who looked at the orb with envy. That coward Wai Ghin knocked Ghin Wai to the ground and stole our sacred orb. Our people have never forgotten. You can never trust a Zhang." The leader said and that caused Katara and Saida to both get mad at the Zhang tribe.
At the Zhange camp, the Zhangs were all over the place. "Care for some meat?" The leader said as she had with her three meat on a stick. "Would I?" Sokka said as he and Miguel took the meat. Eenoch turned it down and she said to them. "I know what you must be thinking. We're horrible for endangering everybody by bringing food down here."
"If you knew it was a bad idea to bring food down here, then why did you do it?" Eenoch said to the leader and she said to them. "The Gan Jins think so badly of us, they probably assumed we brought food in and decided to bring food in themselves. That's why we brought food in."
"Ok, what is up with you and the Gan Jins?" Eenoch said before the leader told them their side of the feud. "Our conflict with the Gan Jin goes back over 100 years. Our forefather, Wai Ghin, was leaving the western gate of our village when he saw a figure in the distance. It was a man of the Gan Jin tribe– Ghin Wai– collapsed on the ground." In this version, Wai Ghin was a normal looking man, in Zhang clothes. And Ghin Wai was a weak old man that was laying on the ground trying to reach the orb. "Noble Wai Ghin stopped to help him. Ghin Wai was transporting a sacred orb, a very powerful relic used in his tribe's redemption ritual. Wai Ghin tried to tend to the man's wounds, but Ghin Wai insisted the orb was more important and asked him to take it back to his tribe. Kind Wai Ghin promised to send help for the man as soon as he could. But as Wai Ghin crossed the border to return the orb into Gan Jin territory, he was arrested." Wai Ghin was then attacked by thug looking Gan Jins, then thrown into a jail cell. "Instead of thanking him for his kind and selfless deed, they sentenced him to 20 long years in prison. We Zhangs will never forget that injustice."
"That's just terrible." Miguel said, feeling sad before Sokka said to the leader. "Are you gonna finish that?" Sokka was pointing at the last piece of meat the leader was holding. The leader took a bite out of it and Sokka realized that she was going to eat all of it.
At Aang camp, Hoshi was struggling to make a fire and Aang said after jumping into the air and checking on the other camps for a quick second. "Sure would be nice to be around one of those campfires telling stories and laughing."
"No, what would be nice is if I was a Fire Bender or… Wait? Nope, that's a bad idea right now." Hoshi said before they heard Momo's stomach growling. Aang then said to Momo. "It's ok, Momo. We'll be out of here soon enough, and then we can eat our weight in litchi nuts." Momo then found a few insects flying close by. "Well at least he is getting some food." Phaedrus said before the canyon guide said to Aang. "It's lonely, isn't it, being impartial?"
"I wish I could help these people get along, but it just seems impossible." Aang said before Hoshi said. "Yeah, besides the biggest problem is getting out of here."
"I'm not so sure the two problems are unrelated." The canyon guide said before he closed his ate and went to sleep. The following day everyone reached the wall. When Aang saw his friends, he went over to them and said. "Guys, will these people cooperate long enough to get out of the canyon?"
"I don't think so, Aang. The Zhangs really wronged the Gan Jins. They ambushed Ghin Wai and stole the sacred orb." Katara said as Hoshi joined them. "What are you talking about?" Aang said before Sokka said to her. "Yeah, Katara, what are you talking about? Wai Ghin didn't steal the orb. He was returning it to their village gate and was wrongfully punished by the Gan Jin."
"Not punished enough, if you asked me." Saida said before Miguel said. "How is doing a good deed serving any level of punishment?"
"All right, enough! Guys start getting the two tribes together at the base of the canyon walls. And Pyravian and Eenoch, wait a second." Hoshi said before Katara, Saida, Sokka and Miguel went to the tribes. "All right tells us what going on and make it quick." Pyravian and Eenoch then told them what the leaders told them last night. Hoshi then turned to Aang. "Ok, now that you know why they are fighting, can you stop them? Because most of our team is on their sides now."
"I'm working on, but let first try to get everyone out." Aang said as he flew in between both tribes with Phaedrus. "Please, everyone. As soon as we get out of here, we can eat and then go our separate ways."
"The Avatar is right. Now we are going to use Eenoch to carry the Zhangs, Pyravian to carry the Gan Jin, and I will carry a mix between the two tribes." Phaedrus said and while the first two parts were ok, the last part caused an uproar. The leader of the Gan Jin then said. "Absolutely not. I will not allowed my tribe mates to seat anywhere near those filthy Zhangs."
"Oh, sorry. I forgot that to the Gan Jin, being filthy is a crime punishable by 20 years in jail." The leader of the Zhangs said and very soon everyone started shouting at the other side, with Aang's friend joining a side. Aang then yelled at all of them. "Guys, focus! How many times do I have to say it? Harsh words won't solve problems. Action Will!"
"Perhaps the Avatar is right." The leader of the Zhangs said before the leader of the Gan Jins said. "Yes. Perhaps he is." Aang then cracked a smile thinking that they would finally work together. "Harsh words will never solve our problems." The leader of the Zhangs said before the leader of the Gan Jins said. "Action will." Then both drew their swords and started fighting. "To the death, and let this be the end of this rivalry." The leader of the Gan Jin said before Hoshi said to Aang. "Nice job, Aang! You turned this feud into a blood feud."
"I didn't mean to do that!" Aang said as both leaders classed. They both were actually good sword fighters and were able to cut off some hair. The Zhangs leader lost one of her hair buns and the Gan Jins leader lost half his beard. See that, Aang used a lot of his Airbending to not only push the two leaders away, but everyone. And thanks to that, Aang and Hoshi saw all of the food the two tribes tried to hide. Aang then said to both tribes. "Is that food? Everyone smuggled food down here? Unbelievable! You guys put our lives in danger because you couldn't go without a snack for a day? You are all awful!"
"Very awful." Hoshi said before he took some of the food and starting eating, very quickly. Aang was going to say something, but he was hungry too and wanted a egg custard in a tart. However before Aang could eat it, a swarm of Canyon Crawlers came out of the wall, attracted by all of the food. "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand!" Aang, Hoshi, Saida and Miguel said as they each rolled out their Bakugan as everyone started to panic (Phaedrus 600 / Centipod 375 / Pyravian 500 / Eenoch 500) "Oh this is going to be rough." Miguel said as he pulled out his weapon. Saida then said to him as she pulled out her weapon. "Yeah. And incase something happens. Sorry for letting this feud get out of control."
"I'm sorry for letting the feud get out of control too." Miguel said as they joined Aang, Hoshi and the Bakugan. With the others, Katara and Sokka took a breather behind a rock. And just as Sokka was about to join the battle again, Katara said to him. "Sokka, wait. I don't care about the stupid feud. I just want us to get out here alive."
"Me, too. I only took their side vecause they fed me." Sokka said before they both joined that battle again. As for the battle, they were able to keep the bugs away from people. The bugs were very hard to hurt. And the Bakugan were just keeping the bugs away from them and the people. It wasn't until Aang saw some bugs eatting out of a bag that he had an idea. Aang then grabbed a bag and yelled to everyone. "Everybody, watch me and do what I do!" Aang then used some of the food to draw one at him, then used the bag to wrap around the bugs mouth. He then used the bugs handles like a control for the bug. The others got the idea and with both tribes working togther they were all able to mount the bugs and Aang then put the remain food inside a bag at turned tied it onto his staff. Aang then used it to lead all of the bugs up the wall and out of the caynon. Hoshi returned Centipod to his hand and the Bakugan flew up to make sure that if someone fell they would catch them.
After everyone got out of the caynon and off the bugs, Aang tosed all of the food over the egde and all of the bugs went after it. After the bugs were done, the leader of the Zhangs said to the leader of the Gan Jins. "I never thought a Gan Jin could get his hands dirty like that."
"And I never knew you Zhangs were so reliable in a pinch."
"Perhaps we're not so different after all."
"To bad we can't rewite history. You thieves stole our sacred orb from Ghin Wai."
"You tyrants unjustly imprisoned Wai Ghin for 20 long years."
"Oh come on. Is this feud a game or something." Hoshi said before a flashed appered in Aang mind. He then said to both tribes. "Wait a second. Ghin Wai? Wai Ghin? I know those guys."
"Yes, yes. We're all awre of the story." The leader of the Gan Jin said as teh leaders drew their swords again. Aang then quickly said to them. "No, I mean I really knew them. I might not look it, but I'm 112 tears old. I was there 100 years ago on the day you're talking about. There seems to be a lot of confusion about what happened. First of all, Ghin Wai and Wai Ghin weren't enemies. They were brothers— twins, in fact. And they were 8, and most importantly, they were just playing a game." Aang's version showed Ghin Wai and Wai Ghin as little kids playing a game. "The sacred orb from the legend– that was the ball. And teh eastern and weatern gates were the goal posts. Ghin Wai had the ball and was running toward the goal when he fell and fumbled it. Wai Ghin didn't steal the ball. He picked it up and started running it back toward the other goal, but he stepped out of bounds. So the offical put him in the penalty box– not for 20 long years but for 2 short minutes. There was no stealing and no putting anyone in prison– just a game."
"You're saying the scared orb was actually a scared ball?" The leader of the Zhangs said to Aang. "Nope, just a regular ball." Aang said before the guy they met yesterday said. "What avour our tribes redemption ritual?"
"That's what the game was called– Redemption. As soon as someone got the ball from one goal to the other, everyone would yell "Redemption!" Don't get me wrong— Wai Ghin was kind of a slob, and Ghin Wai was a little stuffy. That much is true. But they respected each otehr's differences enough to share the same playing field." Aang said and after a moment of slince. The leader of the Zhangs said to the leader of the Gan Jins. "I suppose it's time we forget the past."
"And look to the future." The leader of the Gan Jin said before he bowd to the leader of the Zhang and she returend the bow. After that both tribes, plus the caynon guide all traveled to Ba Sing Sa not as two tribes, but as one tribe. Once they were all gone, Sokka said to Aang. "That's some luck you knew Ghin Wai and Wai Ghin."
"You could call it luck, or you could call it lying." Aang said before Miguel said. "What?"
"I made the whole thing up." Aang said with a smile. As Hoshi laughed, Katara said. "You did not."
"That is so wrong." Saida said before she started to laugh too. Still all of the feuds were gone and now there was peace for Aang's friends and bewteen the Zhangs and the Gan Jins.
And done. And sorry for the very, very long post. But I was finishing college and dealing with life matters. But I'm back and getting back to it. Goodbye and see you next time.
