I arrived back at SFO in the afternoon; Mrs. Mallory volunterred to pick me up.

After sleeping for a while in my house, I drove to the Mallory home to have dinner. Beef stroganoff was served. I told Mrs. Mallory about my meeting with the Senators, as well as my slides.

I walked down to the basement where this world's Quinn Mallory had built the sliding generator. I could still see the equipment, all purchased from discount electronic stores, and the sliding equation which he had solved. I had to admire the boy; he turned theory into practice. I wondered where he was.
