When I thought I would be training," Izumi grits her teeth, her feet pushing against the sand as she tries to drag a refrigerator, "this was not what I was thinking of," she yelps as she slips, falling face first.
"Hey hey hey! This fridge makes for a fine seat" Toshinori's boom laughter made Izumi look up, spitting sand out of her mouth. He was in his hero form now, shoulders tall and smile wide. It still amazes her that this wasn't his true form. That Toshinori, the number one hero in all of Yurashia whose age and even gift was unknown. That everyone doesn't know the true Toshinori. Sure fans, such as Izumi knows that when he entered the Hero Scene, he had earn a prestige just as solid and unmovable as he was. Izumi remembers watching the video of his debut. How even throughout every danger, the dragon kept a smile on his face. She did intense research on him, how following his arrival, the grave rate at which villains appeared in Yurashia began to dwindle year by year. So much so that his existence became a fierce deterrent.
"And yet," Izumi thought as she sat up, "He can only work for three hours a day, because of an attack that left him injured," Izumi didn't know much about the injury on his side, neither did Melody or Alice. They knew that he gain it five years ago, when David Shield, or as he was known by Alice, Uncle Kneecap, had called the Resistance for help to keep Toshinori's strength up.
"I'm sure glad," Izumi blinks as she snaps out of her thoughts, "you haven't been able to budge it. I'm getting awfully comfy here,"
Pouting a bit, Izumi stands up, brushing the sand off the knees of her pants, "C'mon Toshinori...don't you weight about 604 pounds? That's extra weight to the fridge," Ethan snorts, covering his mouth with his hand before he rummages more through the trash, trying to find anything to help him get through the firewall that was blocking their contact with the Resistance.
"Nah, I had lost weight, now I'm about 562 pounds...at least in this form,"
Sighing, Izumi shakes her head, "Ok...then why are we at the Takoba Beach Park? Hauling garbage?" she looked around curiously, feeling a twinge of pain. She knew this place would get bad sometimes, but she and her mom would come down on the weekends and clean it up. With the six years of her mother being dead, and her being taken in by Starline, the trash had build up rapidly. Towers and towers of appliances and barrels tipping over spilling oil onto the sand. It made her sad, seeing how awful the place has gotten.
"I did a bit of online research," Toshinori said, leaping down from the fridge, "Turns out this part of the beach use to be beautiful," Izumi nodded her head in agreement at that, "But it has been a mess for the last six years,"
"Not surprising," Izumi crosses her arms, "Because of the ocean currents, anything that drops into the water ends up here. People have been taking advantage of that for years, illegally dumping their trash,"
The dragon nodded his head, "Heroes these days are all about showing off and capturing flashy villains. Things were different before Qu- I mean Gifts," he coughs up a bit over his fumble, "Service was what mattered. Back then, heroes were those who helped the community. As such," he pats the top of the fridge, making a bump onto the corner. But then, Izumi takes a step back, watching with wide eyes as Toshinori crushes the fridge with just his hand, "You will restore the coastline for this entire section of the beach. This is the first step on your path, young Midoriya, towards being a hero,"
Izumi swallows, "My...my first step? You mean," she turns around in a circle, eyes wide as her tail goes between her legs, "cleaning all of this?"
"It will help you bulk up more," Toshinori gently explain and Izumi frowns, "and you won't be doing it alone! Young Kitsunami will be helping you too!" Kitt pokes his head out from behind some other junk that Izumi couldn't make out, "Both of you need to bulk up more, both of you are fit but…"
"Starline had us focusing on our speed more than anything," Izumi whispers, before she narrows her eyes in determination. "Well...we got ten months before the exams, better get started,"
"That's the spirit!" Toshinori booms, before pulling out a packet, "And I got both of you covered with this plan I drafted. Its the Aim to Pass! Northamer Dream Plan!" Izumi takes the packet of paper, showing it to Kitt who walks over, "So never mind that its trash disposal! Focus on how to clear this training! Both of you will have to follow the plan to the letter of every second of your life!"
"Everything down to even when we sleep," Kitt whispers, before both of them look up at Toshinori.
"No wincing words kids. This is going to be hard, you think you're up for it?"
Izumi stares before she grins, sharp teeth shining, "Nothing to it!"
And so, the curtain lifted on our ten months of hell, though Melody and Alice made sure that we didn't push too hard to the point of exhaustion. Which was weird for the both of them, Starline wanted them to push harder, to never stop training until they puke their guts out. Here both Izumi and Kitt were dragged away during moments when they look like they were about to pass out from pushing file cabinets to the stairs. It was a bit too easy with Izumi's own inner strength, being able to lift 3000 times her own size, though it was made much harder once Ethan made her weights to wrap around her waist, wrists and ankles. It made her muscles burn, in the good way.
Of course, hauling trash wasn't the only thing they did. Thanks to Tsukauchi, both Izumi and Kitt were signed up for online school, the both of them in their last year of middle school.
"So following the Great War, the building standard act was amended and the minister of land, infrasture and transportation," Izumi groans, stretching out her arms above her head, before she nudges Kitt who almost fell into her side, eye bags underneath his fuchsia eyes.
"Seems like those two are clearly exhausted," Ethan chuckles before he frowns in frustration. He was over by the computer, messing with the wires to try and make the signal stronger to reach the Resistance. Sighing, he puts them down, rubbing his face in annoyance before he looks over to Alice, who was talking quietly on the phone, "Who's Alice talking to?"
"Topaz," Melody stated as she cleaned her sword, "She finally got in contact. There's nothing much she can really do, nor what G.U.N can do...but they can make sure our papers are right and make it seem that we came here legally and not by Chaos Control and can make sure our Hero Licenses are all up to date,"
"So Cyan Bolt, Alinta and Frigid Guardian are going to take Yurashia by storm," Ethan smirks and Melody couldn't help but chuckle.
"It seems so," Melody leans into the couch, "But I think we also need to sign up for something...more," she crosses her arms, huffing in annoyance, "Think of it after being in war for so long but I don't like the thought of doing nothing until my shift in patrols are up,"
Ethan hums in agreement, "Yeah… that's understandable… I mean, I'm lucky, I have this," he gestures to the computer, "To work on...but if I didn't I would go insane, especially since legally I'm fifteen and can't do any patrols without someone giving me the stink eye about doing hero work when I'm a child," he rolls his eyes, grabbing some more tools to pry open the computer.
"You are a child," Ethan scoffs, placing a hand on his chest and looking at Melody with an offended look on his face.
"You could join U.A." Ethan and Melody turn their gazes to Tenko, the blue and black rat, grabbing a bag of pretzels from the cabinet, "The Principal is always looking for new teachers, to help teach the new generation,"
Melody blinks at this, pondering the idea, "That does seem like a good idea...it will also help us keep an eye on Izumi and Kitt," a groan was turn and she watches as the young hedgehog slams her face into the coffee table, Kitt blinking in surpise, while Eri stares at her in confusion.
"Well," the three turn to Alice who sighs, "Aunt Topaz will have everything in order. What were you all talking about,"
"You and Melody joining U.A as teachers," Tenko explained, "Last year three old teachers got fired, after an incident discovered that they were selling Power Loader's scrapped robots to those who were allied with Eggman," Melody, Ethan and Alice tense up, their eyes widening, "They alongside the people that they were selling to were arrested, Nezu made sure of that. But now there is open occupation for Battle Instructor, Heroic Laws, and Invasion Prevention,"
"Invasion...prevention?" Alice whispers with a raise eyebrow and Tenko shrugs his head.
"After the Black Arms incident can you blame them?" he shakes his head, "Toshinori is already taking over as Battle Instructor, once he finishes the paperwork," the dragon in question huffs a bit, rubbing the back of his head, "But Heroic Law and Invasion Prevention still has open slots," Alice and Melody look at each other, both in thought of this.
"Sir," Eggman looks over to Orbot, "The two best bounty hunters in all of Yurashia is here to see you,"
Rubbing his face he leans into his chair, "Enter, bounty hunters,"
He frowns at the Mobians that enter, his eyes narrow. Not that he minds working with Mobians, in fact he likes working with them better than he did with humans, Agent Stone being the exception. He liked working with robots the better as he was the one who made them with his genius. But these ones… made him doubt they could do the job right. One was a gray wolf with a messy mop of violet hair that fell to his shoulders. He wore body armor the color of mostly red, with the arms being yellow and a purple shoulder cape attached to blue pauldrons. Next to him was a much larger and muscular orange fur dingo with ratty yellow hair as if he never wash it. He wore green shorts that were torn at the knees and purple glasses in front of his green eyes. One of his legs was clearly robotized, which made Eggman raise an eyebrow at this before he shrugs, not caring.
"Oh thank you for seeing us sir!" The wolf bows, before he and the dingo walk forward, their heads held up high, "How may we serve your royalness,"
Rolling his eyes at the buttering up, Eggman sighs, "you are the best bounty hunters in all of Yurashia is that correct? Sleet and Dingo?" the both of them nod their heads, the wolf puffing up his chest proudly while the dingo just looked at him with a doofy smile. Sighing, feeling a headache building up he growls, "Good, what I want from you is for you two to swear to my service,"
"Oh yes your most powerfulness. We are deeply flatter… but," the wolf rubs his hands together, ears pinning to his head, "but you see sir, we are independent contractors,"
"Yeah," the dingo nodded, "we're in them...in..uh," Sleet sighs, shaking his head as he covers his eyes, trying to ignore Eggman's glare, "We work by ourselves,"
"Silence," Eggman growls, slamming his fist into the arm of his chair, "For now on you work for me," before Sleet could explain anything, he presses a button. Grinning as he watches the two fools hop around, trying to avoid the lasers that shoot at them. None of them even hit a mark on them, but Eggman hope that they'll take it as the warning it is.
The two pant once the lasers died down, shoulders shaking as they stare at him with fear. Leaning forward he waited for them to catch their breath, "Then again...maybe it is time for a change,"
"Excellent," Eggman grins, standing up from his seat, "I knew you would see things my way...now...what are your gifts?"
"Gifts?" Dingo's brow furrow, "I didn't know we were suppose to bring presents,"
"No you idiot," Sleet snaps, "He means Quirks. Its only in Yurashia that Chaos' Gifts are called Quirks," rolling his eyes, he raises a hand which was slowly covered in a mass of dark fog, "My Gift is called Warp Gate, which allows me to create dark fog that acts as a portal. The only weakness to it is that I need to pinpoint the exact position where I wish for each portal to open up into.."
"And I can transform into stuff," Dingo grins, "Any stuff...though I get too tired if I transform into too many things at once,"
Eggman nods his head, both were good Gifts. When use right, "Good, now for your first mission," the screens in front of them shifted, showing pictures of the Guardian Spawn and the Hedgehog, "I want you to find these two and bring them to me,"
Sleet stares, before he nods his head, "Leave it to us sir. Wherever they are hiding, consider them capture,"
Eggman nods his head, frowning as he stares at the Hedgehog, more importantly the crown necklace she wore around her neck. "I need that hedgehog as much as I need the Guardian Spawn," he thought as he sat back down, "It took me awhile to remember it has been years...but that crown necklace she is wearing is the same symbol that is on the Altar of the Master Emerald...in fact the symbol is all over the ruins of Angel Island..I may have the Phantom Ruby...but I can't help but want to find out the secrets to the Emerald...and that girl...I just know that she is the key to it all!"
"Get out of here!" a rock was thrown, making her wince. Her tail, curls between her legs, as she takes a step back.
"Stay inside your house, you freak!"
"You're nothing more than a beast!"
"We don't want you here!
Shivering, she turns on her heel and ran, even as water drip down her scales, her hand going to her mouth, before she flinches as a stinging pain makes her pull back. She frowns, tears pricking in her eyes as as she sees the blood coating her hand.
"Society never really changes, does it," the young dragon thought as she kept running, gulping down deep lungfuls of air. She really didn't care how much she hurt, not as long as she got away from the people who threw rocks at her.
Her arms being scratched to ribbons by a briar she ran into? No biggie
Her bare feet hitting every sharp rock, rough root, pointed stick? Not a problem.
Her lungs aching for air? She could deal, as long as she got away from Them. The people that made up her small village. Mobians who were mythical creatures, like griffins, manticores, Cerberus, and especially dragons were prosecuted...so much so...at least those who didn't live in the big cities.
Bursting from the tress, she stares out over the cliff- a sheer face of rock that dropped to an unseeable floor hundreds of feet below. But the girl didn't mind, dropping to her knees as she pants. Her jade green eyes spill tears that drip onto the stony pebbles alongside the blood. Her arms, covered in scales that were shades of violet to lavender, tremble as she stares at them, before she slams a fist to the ground, a sob escaping from her throat. She bends down, crying as her deep purple hair drapes over her face, hiding her anguish of pain and sadness.
She claws at the ground, her whole body trembling, before she looks up, staring at the blue sky as rain clouds drifted away. Hiccuping, she sat down, tail curling around her as she wipes her eyes, trying to stop the tears. Her shoulders shake as she cries, but a fierce determination fills her. Yes, she was attack, yes they thought she had hurt that girl...but Zena Cadmus save someone...to someone she was not a fierce beast...not a monster...but a Hero...and that was what she was going to be…
"I won't dwell on the bad memories...those won't help me… I'll cling to this… this one single good one...I will be a hero...like Ryukyu...I will show the world that we Mythical Mobians...that we aren't monsters…" she wipes her eyes again, sniffling, "I got to take the stand...it won't be all fix in one generation...but I can help…"
"Hurry! Shut the machine off!"
"Get her out of there! Get my niece out of there!"
"Oh by the Ancients...sir...sir Beauregard...we...we,"
"What? What in tar-nation?!"
"We were able to shut it down halfway through...but your niece...she's...she now half robotized…"
Yellow eyes burst wide open as a scream rip through Mina's throat. Sitting up, she pants, hand going to her chest as her heart pounded fiercely against it. Trembling, she sighs, slowly pulling the covers off of her, ears drooping to stare at the metal that made up her legs, the same with her left arm. Groaning she flops onto her bed, closing her eyes as she curls up, trying to push back the memories. Mina Ashido-Rabbot had lived in Yurashia since she was born, but she had family in the Acorn Archipelago...her and her parents had come to visit them when the Eggman Empire had attacked...her parents...they didn't make it, and she had almost fallen in fate as them, if the Resistance haven't save her.
"Though...they couldn't save all of me," she thought looking at her robotic arm. She had been in the process of robotization when she was save, so her lower half and arm was robotized. They couldn't save her parents either, nor her aunt...but they did save her uncle, who brought her back home, taking over guardianship over her...alongside with someone else.
"Mon ami, ça va ? Je t'ai entendu crier!" looking up, Mina stares at the brown-furred mobian coyote, his indigo eyes looking at in concern. His long blonde hair, worn flattened down around his head, spiked and sticking out the sides at the bottom with a side fringe that slightly curves upwards before it curves down, bounce slightly with each step he took forward. He gently sits down on the end of the bed, saying nothing, waiting for Mina to speak.
Sighing, Mina pushes herself up, "I'm...I'm fine Yuga…" she rubs the back of her neck, "Just a nightmare,"
"It wasn't just a nightmare," Yuga frowns at her, gently grabbing her hand, "It was about that day...wasn't it?," Mina frowns more, turning her head and swallowing, "I promise you Mina...once we get our licenses..we can go and join the fight...we'll find our parents and we'll svae them...we'll find a way to undo what Eggman did,"
"I sure hope so Sugar," Mina sighs, "I just wish we could join the fight now. I mean," she hops out of the bed, heading towards the full length mirror. She places her arm, the one that was still of flesh and bone onto the glass, staring at her reflection. Due to her Quirk, her fur was a light shade of pink, with her hair which had once started as bangs on the back of her neck and forehead were now longer, unruly but framing her face. She has tow thin pale yellow horns protruding from her head, hooked squarely and leaning diagonally to opposite sides. Her eyes had black sclerae and yellow irises, which stare back at her in fustration, " I mean...seriously," she turns over, placing her hands on her hips, not even flinching at the cold metal, "We are older than the Resistance was when they form the Freedom Fighters during the First Great War...why can't we,"
"I think its because they shouldn't have," Yuga whispers, "I don't remember my papa...but he fought in the First War...he was once part of the Freedom Fighters, and once it was over he became Queen Aleena's general...he was young, very young when he took arms with the others. And when I made it known that I wish to become a Hero like him, he made sure that it was known to me that I would not become one as young as he did...They don't want kids having to fight like they did,"
Mina sighs, grabbing onto her ears and pulling at them harshly. Yuga stood up and gently grabs her wrist, pulling them away. Mina didn't know what she would do without him, having met him a year after the war began, when she and her uncle returned to Yurashia to escape it. Yuga had lost his father due to Eggman, and then lost his mother due to an illness. The two became close friends with each other, bonding over the horrors that they saw on the Islands. "My dear Mina, you should not have to worry about any of this. Together you and I shall be going to U.A., we will be getting our licenses, becoming heroes in our own rights, and then we will join the Resistance...and we will make shure I light sparkles like the Heroes before us have never seen!" Mina giggles when he spins her, before pulling her close into a hug.
"Alien Queen and Lumiere, together forever," Mina laughs, her hand, not the one that was cold hard metal, but the one that had fur and warmth squeeze Yuga's hand tightly, "Right Sugarspark?"
And Yuga smiles, no inner fear, no inner guilt in them, no dark but for a future bright with hope with his friend, "Oui mon ami, ensemble pour toujours,"
"Is this how you felt when you meet me, Master?" Toshinori thought as he watches Young Izumi hauled a fire cabinet over her shoulder. She was straining, he could tell with how she huffed and tried to breathe, with her legs shaking with each step she took. Finally she grunts as she throws it into the back of the pickup truck that Toshinori bought when he first moved back to Musutafu, panting a bit, "Alright Young Midoriya! Good job!" he gives her a thumbs up and he couldn't help but grin more when she groans, but her tail wags. Chuckling he walks over to her, "Why don't we stop for the day, I think you did well enough that it won't hurt you to stop early...and we should treat ourselves with some ice cream,"
He chuckles nervously when Izumi looks up at him with a confuse look on her face before she shrugs, "Sounds good to me...I won't say no to ice-cream," she grins, her tail wagging as she pushes herself up. As she slips the weighted bracelets off of her, Toshinori shuffles, feeling saliva build up in his maw, butterflies churning in his stomach. Its been two months since he taken in the Chaos Control group into his arms, helping Izumi being declared alive and now helping her alongside young Kitsunami into being the Heroes they were born to be.
And it felt...nice to not live alone in the old manor that had belong to his family for years. Sure he had Tanaka and Ella, but it wasn't the same as a home filled with laughter, filled with joy and not the suffocating loneliness that he had just….settle into. It was his fault really, he knew the sacrifices he had to make to be the Symbol of Peace, to be the pillar to bring Yurashia out of the chaos that it was in after the Great War.
It was one of the reasons, why he was hesitate about making the offer to Young Izumi. To give her One For All. After what he learn what both her and Young Kitsunami went through, he didn't want to burden her with it. But he knew that it wasn't plausible, that if he didn't tell her, then One For All might just go to her. The very little knowledge that they had about the past users that it did happen with number five. That he died, and before All For One could take his brother's Quirk it snap to number Six. And he knew that One For All wanted to go to Izumi, it wanted her to be its host.
Which is why he was telling her now. So that way, if she refuse, then One For All won't force itself onto her. While a weirdly, possessive Quirk, if someone refuses to take it, then it will not force itself on that person. So, he smiles at Izumi, and lead her to his favorite Ice-Cream shop. The two of them talk, and Toshinori couldn't help but feel warmth. He remember doing this with his Master, before her death. Once a week, every Friday, it would just be him and her. Him, Melody, and Alice both agree that it would be good for Kitsunami and Izumi to do separate things. From what Doctor Shinso had explained, the hypnosis on Kitsunami had made him fiercely dependent on Izumi, that they needed to find things for something they do for themselves. So while Izumi and Toshinori would always cut training short that day, and going to the ice-cream shop to treat themselves, Kitsunami would be brought to a mech shop to build stuff with Ethan.
He smiles, licking his own strawberry ice cream as he fights the urge to laugh as Izumi tries to keep herself from gobbling down the cookies and cream ice cream cone in one bite. The two of them happily walked down the street, enjoying each others company, when Izumi stopped. Blinking his blue eyes, he turns his gaze to see that Izumi was staring at the entrance of a cemetery. He frowns a bit, watching as Izumi just stood there, her tail swishing back and forth, "Can we...we go in there?" she whispers, her arms trembling.
Toshinori stares a bit, feeling a lump in his throat before he nodded, "Of course," he watches as Izumi steps in, watching her before he follows. He shivers, not looking over to where he knew his mother was buried. He watches as Izumi looks around, a frown on her face, fear in her green eyes before she freezes. Slowly he walks over, and his heart drop seeing the grave.
Inko Midoirya
A loving wife, friend and mother
Never Forgotten, Always Love
Izumi sniffles, tears streaming down her face as she drops to her knees. Toshinori stays silent, "Hi mama...I'm...I'm sorry it took so long for me to visit...I kinda got into some bad things...I got into the wrong crowd...but I'm I'm trying to fix it...I want to fix it...I know you said to never stop running, and I won't but I'm going to use my speed to help people...I'm going to make people happy mama...I'm going to help them, and make sure that...that what happen to us never happens to anyone else. I know that it not plausible...but I'm going to try…" she stands up, gently gripping the head of the stone fiercly in her hand that Toshinori was surprise that it didn't crack with her strength, "I'm going to make you proud, I'm going to use my Qu- no my Gift because it's mine...not Starline's, but mine," she sighs, letting her hand drop, "I'll come visit...and the next time I'll bring flowers.."
"I think she's already proud of you Young Midoriya," the Hedgehog looks over to her, and he felt his heart squeeze at the pain that was shimmering in his eyes. He swallows, before walking over to her, "I… I lost my mother at a young age as well...I was nine when she died," he sighs, closing his eyes at remembrance of his mother, "It was during the First Great War," because that was what this war with Eggman is, the Second Great War, even if the Commission didn't think so, "she was one of the many causalities of it...and being a Dragon Mobian, I had found myself alone in the world. But I still wanted to help people...but back then I didn't have a Quirk...I didn't have a Gift,"
"You...didn't have a Quirk?" Izumi blinks, "But...you have one now?"
"I do…" Toshinori swallows, "My Quirk...my gift is something that was passed down to me. A sacred torch…"
"Let me assist you,"
"Without a Quirk? Ridiculous,"
"Please! I mean it!"
"Go defend a three-meter radius with that rusty pipe of yours. Good luck,"
"My family was killed a while back,"
The rat mobian with black fur turns towards him, her red eyes looking at him before she sighs. "Mine too… But I don't have the luxury to join your little quest for vengeance,"
"I don't want vengence!" the small dragon cries out, "I just...I just can't accept a world…" he swallows, shoulders shaking "Where those who take from others come out on top, and then those who've had everything stolen… their grief turns to hatred, in an endless spiraling cycle," he closes his hands into fist, his blue eyes burning with inner fire he did not have, "I want to make the world a place where everyone can live with a smile! And for that… the world needs a Symbol!"
"A Symbol of what?" the Flying Hero: Nephthys asked with a tilt of her head.
"A Symbol of Peace," a young Toshinori stated before gesturing to the smoking and crumble buildings, " Even with plently of new buildings and visible restoration efforts, people have been living in fear for a while now. Their hearts and minds shrouded in darkness,"
Nephthys frowns, looking at her hands sadly, "So you would put on a grand display of power,"
Toshinori smiles, "Everyone's got a tough enough time with their own three-foot radius. So yes I would step up. A Quirkless guy like me...has no role otherwise,"
"The tabloids like to guess that my Quirk is super strength or a power boost. And I avoid the question in interviews by making jokes," Toshinori smiles, running his head through his mane of blond hair, "Because All Might the 'Symbol of Peace,' has to come off as a natural born hero. But my Quirk, One For All," and he smiles when Izumi's eyes widen in awe, "has the ability to be pass down. The first person cultivates the power, and then passes to another. The next refines it and passes it on again. In this way, those crying out to be saved and those with brave and true hearts link to form...and I want you to inherit it,"
"Me!?" Izumi squeaks out, mouth dropping, "You want me...but I'm...I was a villain! There has to be better options…" she stutters, her ears pinning to her head and her tail curling between her legs, "And I...wow...I know All Might's quirk now. It is one of the seven great mysteries of the world. There has been endless debates over what it might be, I remember going online to see that a new theory was posted about but...but he says it was passed down to him," she began to mutter, her eyes turning into swirls, "Naturally I have no idea what that means, but more than that, that's not even a theory anyone's proposed before and mostly because we still know so little about Quirks or Gifts are. Sure we figure they came from Chaos but...Yurashia called them Quirks to begin with because each power or characteristic is so very particular to a single person-"
"Stop nerding out!" Toshinori snaps a bit, making Izumi yip, "I may have secerts but I never lie," he gently scolds her, making her smile sheepishly, "I'm not forcing this on you Young Izumi," he walks over to her and gently kneels down, placing his hand on her shoulder, "And I don't know how many times Melody, Alice, Ethan and I have to tell you this but you are not a villain, you never were. All I see is someone more heroic than anyone else. I have been looking for a sucessor for a very long time, and I think that person can be you...if you wish to be,"
Izumi stares at him, green eyes wide, tears pricking in the corner of her eyes. Her shoulders shook, but she stood tall and nodded her head, "I...I accept!" she stated with such conviction, a burning desire in her.
Toshinori smiles, feeling One For All pulse under his skin and scales, "A quick answer...I expected nothing else,"
Toshinori hope he was making the right decision, a part of him wishing that he could keep this a secret. There was no point in searching for a successor, not with All For One dead. That was the entire point of the Quirk, to stop the First User's brother. But he could tell, no feel that One For All wanted to go to Young Izumi, and he didn't want her to be unprepared if the Quirk just goes to her without warning. "I'll train her...I'll prepare her...Izumi is going to be one of the greatest heroes there ever is…"
He just hopes he lives long enough to see it.
Hello! Its been a while since the last chapter has it? (On Ao3 that is) Sorry, as I've been saying on my other fics I have been falling out of bnha for awhile, but I'm slowly coming back to it. But chapter 6 is here! And we are getting so close to getting them into U.A! I'm so excited!
As you can see I added some more scenes from some other characters. Just a warning...some characters are being replace with sonic characters and a oc. Now don't get me wrong, there good characters but they hardly did anything in canon, and when they did (like Shoji) it was in the final act of the manga...so I'm replacing them...the characters that are being replace are Shoji, ojiro, koda, sato, sero (being combine with a sonic character) and of course mineta who i don't like. Its that way I don't have the whole class fill to the brim like I did with my first version of my godzilla fic and keep it with 20 kids.
Anyway you saw the first two character that have been combine with some sonic characters. Mina has been combine with Bunnie Rabbot and Yuga has been combine with Antoine D Collette! I thought these two would be good and if you haven't seen (spoliers) Yuga does not have his Quirk. The Second Great War Eggman started happen before Yuga's parents could get him to All FOr One, so no naval laser. But like Antoine he is a great swords fighter.
Anyway I hope you all enjoy! Please leave a review and comment!
