Recovery in Progress.
Warning, this is where my Self-Insert (the horror guys... De Horreur.) become more prominent. (Oh noes.)
Also...
Nah, I won't spoil it. It would be way too cruel.
"Omega? Omega-Devi, wake up. we're here now." He heard Karuna-Sindhu speak...he could not hear the train's wheel anymore or the engine.
The God of destruction snuggled deeper in the mattress; he didn't want to face what he would see in the luggage; he didn't want to…
He didn't want to say goodbye to Zero. Never to see him again.
"Omega...do you want me to carry you out like a bride? I'm sure the social media would love it." Karuna teased, and Omega, with a grumble, finally kicked his system into normal gear.
He sat up, rubbing his eyes. No, they didn't hurt, and he didn't feel what humans would qualify as being tired. He just wanted to chase away the afterimage of Zero's and X's terrible life.
'seriously, this...hermit has this sick fetish about making them suffer. that's it; he's on top of my kill list.' Omega was already planning how to kill the bastard son of a traffic light and a a calculator.
"Don't forget your mask." Karuna gently reminded. And omega mechanically covered his face and fixed up the pink abomination as best he could.
No, he still hated the pink torture device with a burning passion...and would probably burn the low-quality piece of woven oil stand once his punishment would be over.
"Alright, are you ready?" Karuna-Sindhu asked as he got off his cot, helping Yavata up. "we need to get out now. Can you contact Zero?"
The question caught Omega by surprise...and a terrible feeling flooded his system. "yeah, but..." he wrings his hands. "I don't think he'll answer..."
He could still see his broken...twin being lowered in the red suitcase. His head gem weakly pulsating. Omega knew...he just knew there was no way he could've passed the night.
Karuna put a hand on his left shoulder and Yavata on his right. No words were spoken, but an incredible wave...of love flowed from them.
That was also something new for him, this feeling of love, to be cared about as a person and not as an object, a weapon. And from a pair of personalities whose individual power dwarfed the God of Destruction's own...with the ribbon, that is.
It was...what he'd wanted for his entire life, he realized, And it made going through this ordeal this much easier.
Yamuna's words replied in his memory bank, how everyone desired to be loved and cared for.
He averted his eyes...yes...yes he wanted affection, he wanted to feel cared and loved for...he didn't ….he didn't want to be a machine of mass destruction anymore. He was tired of it, and he'd realized that not destroying and appreciating nature and how humans and animals acted without fear was more pleasant, just mindlessly causing chaos. And in the week that had followed his unceremonious dumping, Omega had also realized that... He wanted to be more then Weil's messiah.
He wanted to live. For real...and...and he wanted Zero to live also, to live without war, without pain...and maybe X too. Unfortunately…it was too late for Zero. For his twin.
"Come...let's go. mom's already there." Karuna gently leads Omega out of the train, making a path through the ocean of humanity, arriving at the Kolkata station. They found their bags...and Zero's coffin.
Omega could not even feel a reploid inside...his twin had...his copy was…
He grabbed the handle and silently pulled it along, flanked by Yavata and Karuna, the two powerful Vaishnava giving the murderous reploid their full support. He bit his lower lips...Zero, for the first time in his life, had the opportunity to see what a life without war, without suffering, would be like, and just like that!
It was gone...he was gone.
'No, Zero's not...Zero, the reploid is dead; the soul that was in it just moved away...he will live a better life now. he'll forget all of this terrible torture.'
But...Omega was also aware that he might not take birth as a human if the Vedic exposition was anything to go by. There were eight billion four thousand species of life...animals, plant, fishes, birds, bacteria, fungi... ghosts and demi-gods. Humans kind only counted four hundred thousand types...and only around...a dozen or so human type were earth humans.
Those were the best kind, the ones who could perform Bhakti...and even then, it was clear humans were wasting their lives.
Oh, Weil had not been wrong about humans growing complacent and fat like the pigs they were. Hogging every natural resource, pillaging other, causing wars...and since living held no goal, killing them all was a much better option.
He would often quote this one man...His name slipped Omega's mind that the best thing Humanity could do for the environment would be to disappear altogether, and thus the Good doctor sends his God of destruction to do some much-needed spring cleaning...over and over again, in an endless cycle.
Nevertheless, there was a goal, a purpose for human life. A goal that was more often then not ignored and even violently rejected by those too lazy and stupid to realize that human life was meant for more then working hard for seventy years and wasting away in front of a TV, waiting for death at the decades or so.
Oh, and hell...who would want to be there.
"Karuna...will Zero...will he go to hell?" The camouflaged reploid asked the powerful plant.
Karuna-Sindhu turned to Omega, his eyes kind and filled with unlimited compassion...just like Yavata.
"No, He chanted the holy name; he was in Sir-Krishna's temple, got covered in prashadam. He'll be fine, Omega..."
"Are you sure?" the red eyes God of destruction asked, carefully walking down some steps and out the train station. It was morning; the sun was shyly peeking out from behind the horizon. It was a beautiful sight, one that promised a nice full charge he could share with…
"Omega?"
Something...his ventilation was glitching...his legs froze...his face froze.
"Hey, Omega! Devi..." Karuna and Yavat were at his side quickly, surrounding him, supporting him.
"he's...he's gone!...Z...Zero's...Zero's..." he never felt this type of pain before, it felt as if a poisonous spear had been plunged in his core and was twisting violently...and yet, it was not physical...he could not remove it...he could not kill the cause...he could only fall to his knees and...and weep.
He didn't care if the human plant monster was holding him, he didn't care if the two pseudo-elf appeared..the Monochrome one impassively looking at the grieving reploid with a unsettling grin that somehow conveyed love, compassion and mischief...he didn't care if he was in a public place…he did turn off his voice box...but...it did nothing to alleviate his pain.
He...He'd just lost Zero…His Zero...
it's funny, really, how one never knows what he has until it's cruelly taken away…
"Betta?" he half-heard a woman..or was it a young boy called out. She was clearly concerned. "What's the matter, will the mata-ji...what happened to her?"
"Mom!" Karuna-Sindhu exclaimed. "Ah...We got...One less soul with us...and this is Omega, going through a mild punishment." the nice greenette explained, transferring the reploid shaking frame to Yavata's care.
"oh really? Have you checked?" Karuna's mother asked.
"no...not yet...hey Nalini, what's with the goofy grin?...alright, I'll open it." Omega heard Karuna speak to the pseudo-elf...and then he heard him manipulate Zero's...Zero's…
He buried his face deeper in Yavata's neck, and while he wanted to bite something to sink his teeth into the soft, fragile flesh, the stupid ribbon prevented him...thus he pierced his own lips, the sharp pain momentarily taking his mind away from his smouldering grief.
Then he heard Karuna gasp. 'why would he gasp? It ain't like he doesn't know what's in there..." unless.
Omega carefully lifted his head and peered at...what should've been the sight of zero's dead body covered with a dried garland and a sacred shawl...was only woman clothes.
'Oh no.'
Zero knew something went wrong. It was not at all hard to guess. Before they had left the temple on Krishna hill, Karuna-Sindhu had sent the dying android the itinerary with the estimated time of arrival at the Kolkata station. It would approximately take eight hours plus four more in a taxi.
It was now three hours since his departure from the New Delhi station, and already his very cozy suitcase was unloaded like the rest of the luggage—meaning; somewhat roughly. But the plant and the elf-meister had packed Zero very efficiently, and the jostling was minimal.
Zero curled up tighter around the egg-shaped generator; Omega had connected him via his damaged abdominal cable...the somewhat radioactive device was warm and comforting for him. Like and embrace.
Like X's embrace...his hugs, his smile…how friendly he had been with what amounted to a berserk war machine on the cups of a rampage...designed to destroy him and everything he held dear.
'it's all gone...he's finally at peace.' there was no way those repetitions would keep going without Zero. The hermit...whomever he would not have the same gleeful pleasure without his favourite puppets to martyrize.
'but X...he's still there!' Zero thought with a jolt. 'no...no...I...It's over...I failed him...' and he doubted the hermit would use X without his best friend and partner since, as the saying went. Misery loves company.
Besides, it was already too late for him...and there was no way...just now the way the cycles would keep spinning, not without him and Omega.
And he knew, he knew on all the levels of his processor, that even if he were to wake up back in the containment chamber with all of his memories intact, saving X was impossible…
He had tried so often...and every time.
The body of X convulsed violently, his eyes open wide as pain shred whatever remained of his artificial nerves as…
Elpizo's rapier pierced his core.
Ciels life support failed.
Mother elf destroyed her cage.
Zero ended his suffering.
"Zero...I can't...I can't stay in this world...much longer..."
"you… you can do it…."
"I know...you...can..."
The broken reploid squeezed the lid of his lenses tighter...it never worked...nothing worked…
He was always doomed to fail; nothing would go right in his life… even his best friend, his kohai, his war buddy, his lifelong partner was affected by his rotten luck.
So for him to be a piece of lost luggage didn't come as a surprise, really.
Zero shifted a bit...he was not one for dolls, but somehow, those that Yavata and Karuna-Sindhu had given him gave the veteran solace and the...Japa Box had also been nice and soothing until it ran out of battery.
Kind of like him at the moment.
'It'll be over soon...' the egg-generator did its job well, providing the dying reploid with enough juice to survive. Unfortunately, his power-core was heavily damaged..., , and he suspected that the shards of Ragnarok core were somewhat affecting it…
'Of course, it's affecting you, Idiot. it's right in the middle of your own core.' Zero gave a self-deprecating smile. ' So...doctor Weil will still have the last laugh, huh?' the red legend could still try to fight but at this point…
what was the point of fighting…
'X...will I...will I see him again?... Iris...Alia...are they...in cyber-space? Can I...still reach there?...is Cyber space even...real..."
No...no...if it was part of a fake world...then Cyber-space...and everyone he knew...were as good as gone.
Suddenly, he heard someone sing...a woman with a powerful yet sweet voice.
or...maybe it was X...no, this woman's heavy french accent, lisp, and organic voice left no room for error.
~Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare~
~Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare~
Zero closed his eyes as pure bliss filled him… 'I...I wouldn't mind dying...like this.'
'NO...No….I won't give up...not yet…"Zero shook himself, pulling out more power from the generator "I will fight...one last time...' It was a losing fight; once again, the odds of his survival were nil.
It would be so easy just to give up...but Zero...foolishly enough...he wanted to live...he was free…
And yet...he had not the goal, no mission in life…
Maybe...maybe this was his chance to discover his own reason to fight? Other then X's ideals. Maybe...he could...learn about God?
What did he have to lose anyway...
'It's a joke...isn't it?... I'm...about to be ...deleted for good...and I...Found a reason...something that ...makes me happy...' I The Mantra...it awoke something in him...His soul...He felt happy…
Too bad it would not last...as with everything in his life.
Then a terrible thought came to haunt him...what if, what if he would wake up back at the ruined lab or worst! Back in the middle of the Carnage that had once been team Gamma.
Unfortunately, there was nothing much he could do save to pray for God...this cosmic being of untold power in control of everything...the one who...here...was worshiped as Krishna...Radha-Krishna...Gaura-Nitai...Rama…Narashima
was He the mantra that gave him hope?
Would He, the Lord, listen to one who had denied his existence so vehemently over the course of centuries?
Zero Shook his head, trying to clear the fog that clouded his processor. 'Ugh...why can't I die faster...'
Suddenly, again, he felt something land on top of his suitcase...was bigger then a hand and had claws.
'A bird? But...were still inside a building...' Zero willed his connector to solidify the connection to the egg generator, maybe this would help him out, he felt more energy flowed. Still, it was clear Ragnarok-Weil would not let Zero have this one.
He heard something sharp tap the top of his suitcase.
"Oh...do you want something that's in Uttara? Did Ishani brought you some goodies?" the person spoke, stopping her chanting. they had a very neutral voice, just like X… "well, you just woke up after what...six hours of flight...no, was it more, I can't remember. Utti, I was sleeping, and I went through 21 hours with one filled with turbulence..."
'what type of accent is this…? it's...french? no...it sounds...different.'
"...Also, why would Ishani keep food in her big luggage? You can't carry food unless it's on your carry on." Zero felt himself move. "Uh..."
There was a pause.
"Mandodari, Uttara...what are you doing with my luggage?" 'Mandodari? Huh...weird name.'
"I tough Uttara was hungry."
"All my consumable are in my carry-on. And Uttara already ate enough."
"caw caw!" Oh, so Uttara was a crow...or was it a raven?
'why is it so important for me?...' Beyond the fact that the bird felt strangely like the generator.
"Yeah, that makes more sense...and Uttara only ate like...was it...anyway, I think I may be projecting a bit. I haven't eaten since London." Mandodari admitted.
"Oh my, do you want to have some bread? Fruits? Samosa?"
"Oh...it all sounds so good. I'll take the bread. But before that... Do you have your amazing foot cream? my heals are bleeding, and I don't want to smoke the whole place."
"Of course...Huh?" Zero heard this Ishani
"what's the mater Ishani?" Mandodari asked.
"I never lock my suitcase...I don't remember the code."
"oh...maybe...maybe it's the wrong suitcase." more shuffling and more moving.
Zero almost chuckled...yes, he could positively confirm that it was the wrong suitcase and that this Spanish woman would have quite the surprise opening her luggage...the broken reploid couldn't help but wonder if he would have enough energy to witness the reaction.
"no...it can't be..." Zero heard Ishani come closer. And then came the gasp. "Oh no..."
"Let me guess...that's not your suitcase." Mandodari half-asked, half confirmed.
"N...No...On no...I think...I bumped in this hefty girl at the Delhi-train station, she had the same suitcase...she even had a rosary...the same one..."
there was a pause…and Zero openly chuckled...not that his voice held anything now. He remembered seeing Omega being engulfed by a mass of bright pink fabric...It was probably the first time he remembered feeling something other then despair.
He...in a very twisted, overly attached sort of way, misses the walking artificial disaster.
'My old body...the soul in my old body...he'll have a new life...Omega...you lucky dog...don't mess it up.' The so-called god of destruction had takken care of him for a bit more then a week...carrying him around, talking to him… 'Please...live...well.'
"I think your Dad pulled a prank on us," Mandodari commented as she manipulated the suitcase, Zero could hear the crow, Uttara pecking the lock with vigour, no, desperation.
'No crow...I'm...not food for you...not made of...flesh...'
'Unyu! But I don't want to eat you.' Zero heard from...inside his system.'I want to feed you...and fix you and heal you and get you out of your egg and...oh stupid lock, just you wait until I'm in human form, then we'll see who gets the last laugh!'
'that's...hallal...a ...I'm hearing things...' oh...his thought process...was so sluggish...
"What is the mater?" another woman asked, her tone Chinese.
"Ishani's luggage got mixed up." that was Mandodari...she really sounded like X...years ago...centuries ago...millennia ago?
"Oh no...that's so unfortunate." Chinese queen. " Don't worry, Ishani Mataji; I will buy you a new, custom-made cloth to replace those you have lost. Were there any important documents in there?"
"No, everything was on my carry-on." That was Ishani...Mataji.
"oh, thank Krishna. Listen, Nanda-rani is waiting for us."
Nadanarani….another person Zero didn't know about.
"What should we do about the luggage?" Asked X...no...mandodari…
"I think we should bring it with us, just to keep the content safe from thieves. Once at our apartment, we will open it to see if we could find some contact information." It was the Chinese woman.
"Oh! maybe we could...oh, the tags blank. Bummer." X… "anyway, let's go, it's already close to midnight and we have what...three more hours to go trough?" He...she didn't sound very happy about this.
"Actually, I spoke to Yamuna. " Oh...That was...that woman...powerful...red eyes...maverick?
'who cares...can't stop her...anymore...' the image of Omega in pink reappeared n his U.I…
would omega be able to stop her?
Wait...no...Omega...maverick...but…
He felt so weak….better he stopped thinking...stop worrying…
"she's willing to open a gap for us from Mathura to about a kilometer from the limits of Vraja-Mandala."Mandodari...
"but I thought Mathura was Part- of Vraja-Mandala." Ishani.
"yes, Mathura is part of the Bhauma-Vrindavana parikrama. But it's actually part of Dwarka. You see, Vasudeva-Krishna, a Vishnu expansion of the lord resides in Mathura. And sometime, there, He lived there with his wife, Rukmini." Mandodari explained.
"But...I thought Rukmini and Krishna lived in Dwarka?" Ishani.
"He does...alright, Spiritual world geography one-o-one." he heard a pair of knees pop. And someone began pulling his suitcase...probably mandodari. It made the crow unhappy, it seemed.
Zero began to pull more energy from the generator… He remembered the Vedic exposition, how it had...exposed the divine truth about Krishna, the supreme personality of godhead. And while he had been an avowed atheist, The dying reploid couldn't help but notice how everything seemed to revolve around Him ever since...ever since…
He had awoken on the purple...otherworldly, human shaped entity of untold power's lap. Somewhat repaired...but still dazed and weak. And that was after he'd prayed for freedom...
Krishna was God… that's what he kept hearing, and...He was curious. Sure, it was only for humans since Reploids were definitely something that went against nature. But still...
He was now with Krishna's servants...God's servant...and those servants...Karuna, Yavata...and now this group… Meaning God had answered his many prayers...' I...should have prayed...for X's freedom...Oh God...Oh Krishna...you chose the wrong reploid to salvage.' He felt so stupid...like Melted CPU stupid.
The vibration caused, but the small wheels of his coffin had dislodged the connector; after a bit of a struggle, Zero managed to re-established the connection, once again pulling some meager unit of energy.
'please...please...five minutes more...just a bit...'He was shameless pleading...he didn't want to die...he didn't want to go back…
he wanted to stay… to listen…
he was curious...he wanted to know...he needed to know.
"So, in the para-Vyoma, the spiritual sky far above the material world, five realms are present." the X like woman began to speak, her voice bright and energetic for one who had five hours worth of jet-lag. " there's the Vaikuntha planets, were lord Vishnu, Narayana and Narashima are worshiped with awe and reverence and sir Lakshmi Devi is the only consort." Mandodari explained as she probably made her way to the exit...to meet Nanda-rani. "then there Ayodia, were lord Rama is worshiped as king, his wife being Srimati Sita-devi. Awe and reverence are still there, and he's still viewed as God, the supreme controller and the supreme shelter. But there are some friends here and there...it's just not prominent."
'Mariada-Purushotama." Chinese woman. "Rama follows the rules of Dharma without any deviation, even if it will cause him pain."
"Hmm...I see." this was Ishani.
"then there's Dwarka-Mathura. In both places, Krishna displays his four arms form since he's still a Vishnu expansion of the original personality of godhead. There, he has sixteen-thousand-hundred eight wife, headed by Srimati-Rukmini Devi, who also has four arms went going out with her husband." she explained. " Actually, she's the source of all of Krishna's queen, and from them comes Lakshmi, and from Lakshmi's shadow comes Durga and all of her expansions like Bhairavi, Kali and Chandi..."
If Zero had enough strength, he would've lift a brow. He knew of the therm 'harem' but this! 'those poor women.
Mandodari continued. "All those beautiful and highly qualified queen has their own metropolis sized palace filled with gardens, pleasure groves, artificial lakes, parks and flowering creepers. And Krishna, the supreme husband, lives with them all eternally."
"what do you mean by that?" asked the...Chinese woman.
"basically, there one Krishna per queen. He expanded himself to be with all of his wives all day and night as he executed his house-holder duty perfectly."
"Ah, I see what you mean." Ishani. " For those sixteen thousand queens, there's sixteen thousand Krishnas."
"It's still the same person, though." Mandodari clarified. "but for each of his queen, he treats hem as a perfect husband, following their mood of love as perfect wives."
'But...is it real? Krishna's God...and...gods a myth.' A myth that seemed to be very present in his life nowadays...meddling, prodding...salvaging something as good as a corps.
"God's as real as we are...otherwise, nothing would exist and no, the universe was not form by a big explosion caused when...something happened when time and space did not exist. There's an intelligent design behind everything otherwise; there would be only chaos. And we need to come from somewhere you know, and the Lord says in all of the main holy scriptures of the world that he made us in his image."
"right, we have to come somewhere, and nothing workable can come out of a randomly generated world without a personal touch." China.
"Of course, while I could try to establish Krishna's existence by pulling out picture of His footprint in melted stones, the underwater ruins of Dwarka, the real ingredient needed to start believing in him is faith...basically trust and respect for Him" mandodari. " Like...ok, people need to have faith in the product before they buy into it. Some will have faith immediately because it's been good for generation, other will buy into it because they have blind trust in it, other will need a bit more persuasion while other need a whole fashing presentation with all the bell's and whistles."
"yes, when Father allowed me to perform miracles, it was only to instill faith in his power, existence and benevolence in the inhabitant of Israel."
'what?!'
"Yes...in god we trust. Faith is not a currency; it's not even a source of power. Faith just mean trust and respect. and from there, love can grow. We trust In Krishna, it's natural, easy and it's harder to have faith in science then in the supreme. Of course, it's not blind trust. Otherwise, Krishna's wouldn't even bother bringing His sacred land of Vrindavana with Him...or even showing himself to us most unfortunate...not that blind trust will be ignored. By Him." Mandodari.
"and yet...the Lord advented in his original form five thousand years ago, at the end of dwarpara Yuga in his eternal appearance as a dark-cloud blue youth fond of playing with his cowherd boyfriend in the beautiful pastoral paradise known as Vraja-Mandala." China.
"and the baby of mother Yashoda and the elder gopis of Nandagram. And the darling son of his father, king Nanda." ...Jesus?
"and finally, the lover of the unlimited milk maids of Vraja. Young married girl who gave up everything for Krishna's pleasure only. they gave up fame, name, position, children, husband, and status just assist Sri Radha in Her service to the supreme lover and eternal beloved of all souls; Swayam-Bhagavan sri-Krishna, the supreme and absolute truth, he who eternally resides in Goloka, Vrindavana, the highest abode of the spiritual world." She finished, and Zero could easily imagined X bowing with a flourish…
no...wait...not X...Mandodari...Mandodari.
"and, five hundred years Ago, Krishna descended again on earth to give us the epilogue of his Vraja-Lila: the Gaura-lila. In His divine pastime of chanting his own names loudly as he danced, He started the Harinama sankirtana Yuga-Dharma in Navadwip, Nadia, at shrivasa-angan in the heart of Mayapur."
"Yes, and Gauranga is blackish Sri Krishna with the heart and carnation of Srimati-Radharani, the source of Rukmini-Devi and the personification of The Lord's Hladini shakti." Chinese. "Anta Krishna, Bahir Gaura.!"
So many words...bengaly...sankrit...
"If it is not too troublesome for you. I would love to visit this holy land were the supreme father enacted his pastime of giving the highest bliss to the lowest of wretch." Jesus asked humbly.
"Of course not. Why would I not want to pas time with you, I mean, it's not everyday a fallen soul like me has the chance to hang out with Jesus, eh? On that note...Hare Krishna Nanda-rani Mataji!" Mandodari loudly and joyfully called out to this...person. "we found a pair of extra pilgrim with us, d'you think we'll have enough place in you vimana?"
He heard another woman chuckle. "Vancha-Kalpa tarubhyas cha Kripa-sindhu vya eva cha, patitanam phavanebhio vaishnavebhio namo namaha." he heard yet another Japanese woman recited in...was it Hindi?
oh...right...he was in India...Zero felt...a bit dumb…
the three other women...greeted each other the same way…
" Oh my god! Is it? Are you?" Nandarani stuttered.
"Yes," ...Ishani. "I am indeed He. But please, call me Ishani, and keep my old identity a secret, for I desire to have a quiet Pilgrimage in the Holy land were my father once blessed mother earth with the dust of his pinkish lotus feet."
"Krishna….Ishani, were about to enter the abode of pure love...to Call Krishna 'Father here is a Rasa-bhasa. In Goloka-Vrindavana, Krishna is the eternal 16 year old romant..hero stea...ing the heart of all the..li..i..en…..
...Stole…...Butter th...supreme...l...o…
Screams…Geiger counter active...nuclear source...above them…
crash...changed position….jostled…
lid ripped open...the sun...a woman...Iris?
Brown hair...red eyes...green dress…Maverick? Was it...a power core?
It looked like an eye...Where are those wings?
Was she...an…
"OH, KRISHNA!"
X…
It was X…
Green eyes...kind...blue helmet...blue armour...red gem...round face…
It was X…
X was...alive!
X was...worried...for him.
No...he couldn't die...X...X…
Words...speaking...to him…?
"I't all right sweety, I'm here now. I will make sure nothing happens to-" A pair of arms pulled him out of his luggage, taking the egg with him...it was the...nuclear angel?
"Oh Father who art in heaven...hallowed be thy name. What mercy have thou bestowed on this soul? What is impossible for you to give, oh Father...Oh, Krishna!"
"Hare Krishna Hare Krishna-" recited X, a halo of light crowing his head…
*Click, Click * it sounded like a camera."Well, I'll be..."
"Oh... what should we do! He's...he's..." the angel sounded upset as she turned to X, crushing Zero to her breast...no...was it an eye? She was...she had no breast...but some very powerful muscle to move her wings.
'what type of creature is she?' Zero wondered. So close to her heart, the dying reploid realised that she was the source of the radiactive warning he had half-received...and yet, she felt just like a recharge pod.
He closed his eyes...soaking this...felling of being protected, cared for…
he felt...warm...when was the last time he felt…
Omega...and X...Ciel?...maybe...Rossignol?
Definitely...
"Wait...you mean? Oh yeah, I can feel it...he's alive." Power coursed through him as X put a gantle hand on his chest. "But...He's a power drain...he feels just like Madan-Mohana das." The Azure reploid, his deceaced friend, murmured to himself. "Not that Madana-Mohana's a power drain...he just...he's inside a doll. And the doll's about to go kaputski…Let's bring him to Vrindavana, like this, no mater what happened to him will be auspicious."
"Right...load Him up, I'll be careful about the pot-holes." the blond spoke.
"No, I'll follow you." the Nuclear angle spoke in a way that broke no argument. "Don't worry child, You'll get better, I promise."
"Alright, but what if you get caught?" X. "and Zero's not your child; he's well above...three hundred at that point...if he even is the real Zero."
Zero reopened his eye and turned to X, his vision pixelated. He opened his mouth, trying to tell X that he was the real one...he was his best friend, his partner…
His... His lover
He was Zero…
He was his Zero...
"Unyu! I don't care about his material designation, he's one of my hatchling and I will raise him and his brother with love and devotion until he can reach back home, back to Goloka!" Uttara declared she she held Zero protectively to her chest. " and He's attached to my egg, meaning he's my baby now." once again, the angel spoke with a determination that could easily win a war.
'Is she...insane?' Zero wondered as he tried to soak as much energy as he could. His power core was done for, no question ask, the only thing he could do was to use an auxiliary power source...other then the egg-generator.
"Hou Yi...he look like my Hou Yi...Oh, Hou Yi, why must you torture your old mother like so?" the Chinese woman stood too far for Zero's failing vision to detect.
"Mata, he's hou yi…Mandodari called him Zero."Uttara spoke as she hugged hum closer.
"that's a terrible name."
And then...X was gone from his blurry vision. 'No...X!'
"Wait! Manda!" the nuclear angel called out to the azure legend. "Manda, Zero's anxiety spiked when you went in the van...I think you have to fly with me."
Zero...Zero knew he didn't have long...he wanted to be with his partner again…he wanted to see him happy… he didn't want to see him gone...again...
'X? Flying? Oh...right...Cyber-elves can fly...'
