In this chapter of the Riva show story it's Thanksgiving.

This will be a fun chapter of the holiday of Thanksgiving with all your favorite Reba characters. Also, this will be the first time they'll be having Thanksgiving at Cheyenne's house.

So let's relax and have a great time.

Oh, happy Thanksgiving.

It was the morning of Thanksgiving day and Cheyenne was getting dinner ready. She was cooking some of it but her mom and her mom were bringing some and her dad was bringing some and the whole family was coming including Barbara Jean and Henry.

But Cheyenne was gonna do the staple the turkey van was worried don't worry van. She said I'll do my best. You just sit there and relax and watch the parade with Elizabeth.

Jake was coming too. He was gonna bring some kind of dessert or something, but not made obviously cause he can't make anything.

It was gonna be a crowd. I hope you got everything set up Cheyenne holler at her husband yeah Van said mom and dad are coming. Did you invite your parents? Cheyenne asked if it would be the first Thanksgiving with Vance's parents. Yes, I invited my parents Van said.

Van said to his wife, Elizabeth was happy that both her grandparents that were coming to Thanksgiving this year. It made her happy.

Everyone will get along today that'll be good But Cheyenne was nervous about hosting this year. Their house was clean, which was good and her house was the biggest and it had a bigger table bigger than even her own mother's table.

She decorated the table.

The turkey was almost done and she had a special turkey for herself because of her being vegetarian

Eventually, everyone started to show up.

Reba started to show up first then Brock and Henry and then Barbara Jean with Henry Cheyanne invited them because well they are still technically family advanced parents.

Then Reva's mother, their grandmother, great grandma for Elizabeth, and then van's mother or van's mother, but Bronx's mother also came. It was gonna be a crowd this year. Some of it was to talk about the baby shower for the new baby coming. The Cheyenne was excited about it.

There was plenty of food because people brought as much as they could. People ate some appetizers to get started while people others started, busy decorating and putting plates and things on the tables.

After all that people started to say their blessings the blessing was given, and it was trying to eat. They watched the parade while they ate, but little of it they could see why they were eating.

They sent down a chow down on everything from turkey to everything. Then they took a break for a little while before dessert. The men watch football while the women clean up the remaining the actual dishes the from the meal from the main meal.

Elizabeth's health, the grown-ups, and the women with the cleaning up and getting the desserts ready.

The only one who wasn't there was Keira because she was in New York for the parade, but no one wanted to see her band except on TV so she went alone with her band.

A lot of people did miss Cara being there, but she'll be back in another couple of days.

They discussed when Christmas will be or not when it will be, but I will be done that year. Cheyenne said that since she did well hosting Thanksgiving she should host Christmas everyone agreed, especially since they have Elizabeth it'll make it easier on me Cheyenne said Santa, of course, dear Reba said, especially on you since you're pregnant, smiled and nodded her head yes and the baby shower will be next year she said.

How's the baby room coming along? Reba asked is coming along nicely. Cheyenne said do you wanna see River left with Cheyenne to go check on the baby's room rock who hadn't seen it yet decided to see the new nursery as well so they wouldn't have to see Reba, the new nursery for the new baby.

After they cleaned up dessert and watched a little bit of the football game then they went to see the nursery.

Name one that was done everyone who came left even the other grandparents to see the baby's room. Once that was done. Everyone left Cheyenne and Van were happy the first Thanksgiving that they hosted together as a family at their own home was a success even better than their homecoming another homecoming but their open house party.

Now they relaxed after everything was done and Van continued watching football, and Elizabeth went upstairs to talk on the phone with her friends. Cheyenne just sat there in the kitchen side, but happy.

She smiled, knowing that it was over, but also satisfactory as well. She got her mom and everyone to take home leftovers and that was good too, so they wouldn't have so much but don't have food for the left for a long long time up until Christmas time.

And it was a good time and I enjoyed it.

And that was the Thanksgiving this year.
