92. The war, pt2, the serenidites

-Chapter 92, the war, part 2 The Serenidites -

The more ground the Confrians gained, the closer the planetary chairman was to receiving another group of hero officers to try turn the tide. Inevitably, the sector chairman decided that this world was worth fighting for, after all a considerable amount of resources had been invested in it, and another team of heros was deployed.

They showed up on the front, started wrecking all sorts of things and taking a lot of Confrian lives, but not without giving us some information to work with, by the time word got back to us they already had a whole folder on them.

That day Kitty was doing another episode of her show again as I watched on the sidelines with Phoebe by my side. My phone was off because we couldn't have it ringing while we were in the same room as her while she was being recorded live as it would make for quite the awkward moment. Zari and the techs had theirs shut off as well. We were a couple of hours into the show already and Kitty was just about to end it.

"In local news, since we invaded and the chance for an enemy invasion in Confria has been significantly reduced, people have been moving back into their homes in Oceanside and now the Oceanside Beach has been reopened so people can go back to enjoying their free time there, atleast for now, but if fears about an invasion pick up it may be closed again, but so far, our navy has been hard at work patrolling our coasts and keeping Listanian ships from passing through. Anyway that's all they have for me today, sorry, but it's back to reruns for now. Stay tuned for more training and news as soon as we receive it. " Kitty said as she read the teleprompter.

One of the techs shut the camera off and the other switched the channel back to running reruns.

"Ok that's a wrap for now." Zari said.

"Did I do good?" Kitty asked.

"You were great baby." I replied as she left the set and came over to see us.

"We have company." Phoebe said.

"Really? What kind?" I asked.

"Friendly, that's why there wasn't any shooting downstairs." Phoebe said shortly before several friendly soldiers came in.

"Allright then what's this about?" I asked.

"New mission I think as far as I can tell." Phoebe said.

"Well, let them explain." I replied.

"Ok." She agreed.

"You haven't been answering your phone so we were sent here to find you on a hunch." One of them said.

"Oh, fuck, well what is it then?" I replied.

"The enemy has deployed new hero officers and they need you to go deal with them, we're here to pick you up and take you to the airport. The rest of your team is on their way already. Here's everything we know on your targets so far." The soldier replied as he handed Phoebe a manila envelope.

"Ok well can we get a copy of these sent to Mari because she might recognize some of them and be able to tell us more, she might be out on the town, but you could probably get anyone that's still at the hotel to get them to her eventually." Phoebe said.

"Right, we'll take care of that after you're all on the plane." The soldier replied.

"Good let's go then." Phoebe said.

"Aggh, Kitty Kat, come here baby." I said before pulling her close and kissing her deeply.

"We'll be back in a few days at most ok?" I asked.

"You better be." She replied before Zari came up and tried to squeeze the life out of me before she kissed me as well.

"Hehe, Zari what the heck?" I asked, somewhat confused.

"She loves you too." Phoebe chimed.

"Love you too babe, just didn't expect that." I said to her.

"We'll be here when you get back." Zari said as the soldiers looked at us all incredulously.

"Ok well, ready Pheebles?" I asked.

"Mhm." She replied.

An hour later we were on a plane back to Listania, taking the opportunity provide by the long flight time to go over the contents of the envelope which contained all the known information about the supposed heros we would be facing.

"See if we got any more cute girls." Phoebe said as she opened it up.

"Mari and I aren't enough?" Emika asked.

"Not for her no, sorry babe." I replied.

"Guess that goes for me too then." Saphy said.

"You know how she is by now Saphy." I said.

"Lovable but completely insane?" Saphy asked.

"Correct you win, well nothing." I said jokingly.

"Well, if it's what the queen wants." Emika replied.

" Awwwe, there's twelve hero officers and only 4 girls this time, Hey Emika, can you change them all into girls?" Phoebe asked.

"Four new girls isn't enough? There's was only two last time." I asked.

"Three." She corrected me.

"Oh right." I said as I forgot about our newest member who was sitting quietly towards the back of the small business jet we were being ferried around on.

"Did she really just ask that? If they could be changed into girls." Saphy asked.

"Yep, she's lost it." I replied.

"Maybe, but I'd have to look through my spell books and those were, in my room, back at that prison you caught me at. If they're even still there and if such a drastic transformation spell even exists I can assure you it will take quite some time to cast." Emika said.

"Well I can get you all the time you need don't worry about that." Phoebe said.

"Do you think they would willingly join us if they know you did that to them?" I asked.

"If you sleep with them yeah." Phoebe said.

"And you're going to talk them into that how?" I asked.

"Well I could also wipe every memory of them ever being anything but a girl." Phoebe said.

"Emika just ignore her, she's being insane." I said.

"Yeah that's one of the craziest things I've heard her say." Saphy agreed.

"All you're going to do is piss them off and then they'll probably try to attack you and they'll get bubbled." I said.

"Not if we wipe their memories and we could lock them up and only let them out if they agree to sleep with you.." Phoebe said.

"Nope you are not roping me in on this." I replied.

"But she wants it." Emika said.

"That doesn't mean that it's best for her, you don't have to feed her addiction." I said.

"Who's more important to serve your king or your queen?" Phoebe asked.

"Ummmmm." Emika didn't want to answer.

"Good question actually." Tabby chimed in.

"Pheebles knock it off." I said.

"Your king, dummies, it was a trick question. We're all here for Cj, remember that." Phoebe said, just to throw us all for a loop.

"Please tell me you were joking about that stuff." I said.

"You'll never know." She said teasingly before relenting. "Of course I was joking when have I ever been that mean? You dummy, and if I made them forget that much even if I took all the time to pick out all the relevant memories, their brains would be mush. I'd be surprised if they could even speak in full sentences at that point. It'd never work. I was just testing them."

"Well that's kind of a relief." Saphy said.

"Yeah, kind of." I agreed, glad she hadn't gone full horny supervillain.

"So what makes him so special?" The shadow princess asked.

"You'll see." Phoebe teased.

"He's a good tamer." Saphy said.

"I'm not even your tamer." I said.

"You gotta show him your bumps first then you'll see." Violet said mischievously.

"Really now?" I asked.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" The shadow princess manage to pick up what she was asking which made her wonder why she bothered to join this big group of perverts.

"Really that's the first thing you're going to say since we got on the plane? Sorry about that, those two normally don't say much." Phoebe said, laughing with everyone else but her.

"I am not a real king, you don't have to serve either of us." I said.

"But I want to." Emika insisted as Tabby nodded in agreement.

"I'm a king, you can serve me." IceLeomon decided to butt in.

"Didn't you give that up to come with us and do you want your wives to know you said that?" Phoebe asked.

"Why would they care? They can serve them too. They can go out and look for people I can fight." IceLeomon said.

"Oh that's what you meant, ok." Phoebe replied.

"You didn't sleep with my former goddess though did you?" Tabby asked.

"Um, no, of course not." IceLeomon replied.

"Tabby that's the only reason you follow us?" I asked.

"Well who else am I supposed to serve?" She asked.

"Yourself?" I suggested.

"I am serving myself, by serving you." She replied.

"Hey mittens, maybe if you ask nicely you can be the royal stable boy." Emika teased.

"Well atleast she's loyal." Phoebe said to me telepathically.

"If not just a bit mean." I replied.

"What does that even mean?" IceLeomon asked.

"You don't know?" Emika asked.

"Emika we have cars here, we don't need stables, or a stableboy and he's our buddy so be nice." I said.

"Yes sir." She replied.

"Maybe he will make a suitable dungeon guard instead." Emika suggested.

"We're not going to have a dungeon either." I replied.

"Your way of life confuses me." Emika said.

"You'll learn in time, anyway, what are we up against this time Pheebles? " I asked.

"Okay everyone listen for a moment, here's what we're up against. 1st guy has super strength, flight, and bullet resistance, 2nd guy super strength, flight, and bullet resistance, 3rd guy super strength, extreme pain tolerance, bullet resistance, martial arts, ability to detach and regenerate limbs. 4th guy, super strength, flight, and bullet resistance. " Phoebe said.

"Really?" I asked.

"I guess they're really common powers." Emika said.

"That is kind of a concerning amount of flying guys though. No elemental powers?" I asked.

"It's not listed so either it's a no or they didn't use them yet." Phoebe said. Anyway the 5th guy, has metal manipulation, bullet resistance." Phoebe said.

"Well that's different." I replied.

"6th, bullet resistance, ability to liquefy his body and become a sentient blob of a selectively corrosive substance." Phoebe said.

"Ok, so he's a slime basically." Emika chimed.

"A slime?" I asked.

"They're usually pretty weak monsters, but this guy is apparently intelligent so he might be a bit stronger." Emika explained.

"We have those too in the pokémon world, they're called dittos, or grimers, one can take the form of anything and the other smells really bad and can use corrosive poison attacks." Phoebe replied.

" Anyway 7th guy, knowledge of martial arts, bullet resistance, can make clones of himself? " Phoebe asked sounding somewhat confused.

"No super strength or bullet resistance?" I asked.

"In the picture they sent he's wearing elite armor so, I guess that's kind of implied. I don't know why they didn't list it on the other armor wearing ones though, maybe they forgot." Phoebe said.

"Great so if he has their elite armor, the clones can teleport too unless they're all naked." I said.

"It doesn't say." Phoebe replied.

"Well that could be bad either way." I said.

"8th guy, some kind of cat guy, moves fast, has sharp claws, and he's also wearing a full set of armor aside from the gloves and helmet. So he's pretty bullet resistant too." Phoebe said.

"Are they all bullet resistant?" I asked.

"Seems like it so far." Phoebe replied.

"So he's basically Kitty but a boy?" Saphy asked.

"Close it doesn't say anything about him having hypnotic abilities. Also, you know, chances are he's smarter than Kitty." Phoebe said.

"I'll fight him, it'll be fun to tell her if I win." Saphy said, as Kitty had been helping her train when we had free time and she wasn't quite able to beat her yet.

"We'll see how things go down, but if you get the opportunity you're more than welcome to take it. " Phoebe said.

" 9th is a cutey, 10 is a cutey, 11, and 12 are all wearing helmets so I can't tell." She said.

"Ok that's nice that they're cute, but what are their powers?" I asked.

"Sorry I got sidetracked." She replied.

"Eheh." I replied, unamused.

"9 can jump really high, is trained in martial arts, and can stretch her body out? She's also really cute see?" Phoebe said before showing me, unsure what that meant exactly.

"Yeah you told me already." I said, not really caring about the pink skinned, pink haired, and for blatant lack of a better description, princess bubblegum-looking girl in the picture, as I was surrounded by cuties at the moment, one of which was my wife.

"Honestly you're way cuter." I said.

"Awwe Cj, I'm not cute I'm sexy." She said.

"Oh you're going to give me that old line again?" I replied.

"Mhm." She cutely replied.

"Hey princess, since Mari isn't with us this time you recognize any of these guys?" I asked the new girl.

"They don't really tell us much about the others until we're deployed. And I wasn't deployed with that group, so no." She replied.

"Yeah, they didn't let me know either. How does Mari know so much?" Emika agreed.

"Mari knew because whoever keeps wiping your minds decided not to wipe hers for whatever reason." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, but she didn't have her mind wiped for some time." I said.

"That's true, hopefully she'll call us with more information later. I asked them to give her a copy of these documents." Phoebe said.

"Hopefully they did that." I replied.

"10 can scream piercingly loud. It also looks like she's wearing the armor but no helmet." Phoebe said.

"So it doesn't muffle her powers?" I asked.

"Maybe, who knows? Maybe she just lost it." Phoebe replied. "Anyway, 11 can fly and shoot projectiles composed of some kind of dark energy. Shadowballs maybe?"

"Maybe, who knows?" I replied.

"What are shadowballs exactly?" Emika cut in to ask.

"Condensed and somewhat unstable spiritual energy." Phoebe said.

"That's what my spells use, minus the unstable part." Emika said.

"Well, they might be similar but I can't use spells, nobody on my world or Cj's can. I can make shadow balls though. A lot of psychic and ghost pokémon can." Phoebe replied.

"You have ghost pokemon?" Emika asked.

"Um, no, but they exist on my world. It's hard to find ones that are friendly. " Phoebe replied.

"Well now that I know you can do that, when we have space to try to some things, I have some ideas." Emika said.

"Me too, now that you mention it." Phoebe said.

"You wanna learn some spells?" Emika asked.

"I'd like to see if I can." Phoebe replied.

"Don't teach her the one that changes dudes into chicks." I said, half-jokingly, knowing she would abuse the hell out of it.

"Well relax I'm not even sure that one exists and even if it does it'd be in my books, which I don't have and I'm not exactly sure they're still where I left them." Emika said.

"I told you I was joking about that anyway." Phoebe replied.

"I know, but you also lie a lot. So I got to be ready for either one." I replied.

"Yeah, that's true, but I'm not this time." She said with a sigh as she rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, anything else 11 can do?" I asked.

"I don't know, but do you think they've revealed all their abilities? These are just the ones they've been seen using that people survived long enough to report." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, that's true. All these flyers though, they're going to be a pain in the ass and we don't have the mechanorimon with us to help fight them." I said.

"Well we can maybe bait them into a building or something where they can't make much use of it, they might not have any ranged abilities." Phoebe suggested.

"Do they have hands?" I asked.

"I would assume." Phoebe said.

"So they can pick up a gun then and that gives them ranged abilities." I replied.

"Welll, yeah, that's true." Phoebe replied. "Ok, well, last one, number 12, super strength, flight, magical swords that automatically return to her if she throws them, bullet resistance, and cuteness. Also she's apparently suspected to be the leader of the other flyers. I guess they all must've showed up at once or something."

"But not the rest?" I asked. Wondering how she knew she was cute even though she was wearing a full face helmet.

"I guess not, but they all have the same powers and the others are all different." Phoebe said.

"So just like half of them, but she's a chick?" I asked.

"Pretty much yeah." Phoebe replied.

"Do they all look like they're from the same place?" I asked.

"I can't tell, they all have elite helmets." She said.

"Is that why they're all marked as bullet resistant too?" I asked.

"I don't know. Probably unless they took it off in the middle of the fight, but I wouldn't chance it though." Phoebe replied.

"Bubbleguns it is then." I said.

"Well yeah, don't kill her, she could be hot." Phoebe replied.

"Pheebles, you're ridiculous. You really wanna take the risk of somehow nabbing all four of them at once? Do you know how much of a liability that is?" I said.

"Yeah you could be putting your safety at risk as well as Cj's and all you other non-digimon." Saphy said.

"Well maybe we'll just capture them all and have them sent back to Confria with whoever else we capture, and then we can work on recruiting them later." Phoebe said.

"Ok, atleast you got that part figured out." I replied.

"Yeah well, your safety and the safety of our friends is more important than our little hobby." My beloved replied.

"Your little hobby." I corrected her. "but still it's nice to know you haven't completely lost it."

"So you're seriously planning to recruit all the enemy women?" The shadow princess asked.

"She wants to, the rest of us could care less, we'll probably just recruit them all honestly, just like the first wave, the ones we knew of in the first wave anyway." I said.

"Yeah and it's easy because they've all been brainwashed so far, including you." Phoebe replied. "If you want to leave when we get to Listania that's fine."

"Where else am I supposed to go though?" The shadow princess asked.

"Exactly, so you might as well help us fight these guys." Phoebe said.

"And you're doing this so you can get them to sleep with you?" She asked, sounding somewhat unsure.

"No that's why she does it." I replied.

"Yeah." Saphy agreed with a laugh.

"No Cj! Be quiet." She politely demanded.

"Oh sorry it's so she can share them with me." I teased.

"Cj be quiet! Listen Natalia, we're doing this so we can expand our team for when this is over and we start a sort of expeditionary company to explore the multiverse which will hopefully someday take us back to our children." Phoebe explained.

"So it's not just out of horniness?" She asked.

"No, that's why we recruited Mari's brothers and that flame sword guy too." Phoebe said.

"Even though you didn't want too." I teased.

"Quiet you." She said as she put the documents back into the envelope.

"Here Emika, why don't you take a look at these and pass them around the plane so the others can take a look?" Phoebe asked.

"Ok, I can do that." Emika replied as Phoebe handed her the documents.

"Now Cj, since we're in the air now can I sit on your lap so we can snuggle?" She asked.

"You gonna be a good girl?" I asked, teasingly. Knowing she just wanted attention and some affection.

"Mhm I promise." She sweetly replied.

"Well, it's going to be a long flight, so you might as well come here baby." I said.

"Thankyou." She replied. Then she came and sat on my lap and we snuggled quietly for a bit as the rest of the group went over the documentation.

"Still love you baby, though I think we should just focus on us and Kitty." I said.

"Yeah, I know and we will, but we can still share someone new every once in a while." She said before kissing me on the cheek.

"Oh if it keeps you happy and Kitty's ok with it I guess we can." I said.

"Mhm." She cutely agreed.

"How did you know my name?" Natalia, the shadow princess asked.

"Oh that's easy, I can see it in your head." Phoebe replied.

"Where is this plane going anyway?" Natalia asked.

"To Confrian-occupied territory in Listania, don't worry I'm sure it will be safe." Phoebe replied.

"So you don't know where exactly?" Natalia asked.

"They neglected to tell us." Phoebe said.

"You couldn't see that in their heads?" Natalia asked.

"Didn't think to at the time. It's of little consequence anyway, we won't be there long." Phoebe replied.

"Once we get to wherever we're going there will probably be somebody there to tell us where to go next, either that or we'll go take over a hotel for the night and call whoever we can get that's close to Raylena and tell them where we are so they can coordinate all that stuff." I said.

"You just take over the whole hotel?" Natalia asked.

"Yeah, if we're close enough to the front nobody will be inside anyway. We could stay at the nearest army camp or whatever they have, but we're not officially in the army so we don't have to, and hotels are usually just better." Phoebe explained.

When we arrived back in Listania, at a newly captured airstrip further north from where we originally deployed, another group of soldiers was waiting there to give us further instructions, basically to tell us what city to stay in. We took a few minutes to decide where we would spend the night and let them know so they could find us the next morning. After that we went to the hotel we picked out with consideration to how close it was to the front and how likely it was to get hit, and took over the ground floor so it would be easy to escape in case it did get hit. As expected for a business this close to an active warzone, there were no other guests or staff around, no running water either, as the waterline apparently got hit or shut off at some point, but we did have electricity. Which was good because this hotel used key card locks so we needed it to get in the room.

"Ok put the card in, light is green, and we're in." I said before opening the door.

"You wanna play around a bit?" Phoebe asked as she followed me into the room.

"You think we're safe here?" I asked as she closed the door behind us.

"I think so." She replied as she wrapped herself around me.

"Well then I don't have much of a reason to say no do I?" I asked.

"Not really no, unless you feel like being a buzzkill today." She replied as I turned around and pulled her close.

"Allright come here baby gimme kisses." I said, playfully as she giggled at me.

We played around and made love and then we weren't tired yet so we watched tv for a little while catching an old episode of Kitty's show that had made it over here via the internet. This meant she could use her powers to try to weaken the Listanian resistance, but it wasn't as effective as it was in Confria, as the Listanians were a lot more loyal to the space police as their philosophies were extremely compatible. Her hypnosis wouldn't hold for long and they knew by now not to watch her.

In Listanian controlled territory, anyone caught watching her could be arrested as the Listanian government tried to offer Skyla Soviva, who was actually one of the first group of twelve hero officers alongside Mari and Emika, as a replacement, promoting the hell out of her. Because the value her talents had at keeping people under control, they decided to keep using her in that way instead of throwing her against us.

The two Confrian girls that had been running the tv station here as a stop gap since it had been taken over still made appearances on this channel and occasionally had their own segments covering local events, but other than that Kitty was now dominating the tvs here as well and it was nice that I was able to watch her, even all the way over here. Though they were just reruns and we wouldn't be separated as long this time.

"You know, she's not a bad hostess." Phoebe said.

"Yeah she presents well. She struggles with her words sometimes, but, she's not bad, not bad at all." I said.

"You proud of her?" She asked.

"Hell yeah." I replied.

"What about me?" She asked.

" Yeah, you've done a lot of crazy things, but, you were never as troubled as she was." I replied.

"Ok." She replied.

"That doesn't mean I love you any less." I said.

"I know." She replied.

"You're my baby girl, always and forever. Even if you have gone a bit crazy." I said as I huggled her affectionately.

"Yeah." She relented. "I'm not that crazy though, you know we're just having fun. When we find our kids again this will stop. It will just be me you, me, Kitty, and Zari, and maybe Saphy, everyone else will probably part ways. So you should follow me and just enjoy it while we're free to do so."

"Yeah well, right now I just want to enjoy my baby girl." I replied as I gently caressed her tits.

Eventually the fun came to an end, we fell asleep and the next morning arrived.

There was still no running water so first thing in the morning Phoebe threw her dress and shoes on and went down to the pool to bring Saphy in to help us shower using her powers in her Oceanamon form, and also so we could spend some time with her.

This seemed like a great idea until we realized that Saphy could only conjure water at room temperature. Unfortunately we did not realize that until after we were standing naked, cold, and soaking wet in the shower.

"Ok that's enough Saphy stop please." Phoebe begged as she clung to me.

"Well that's a hell of a wake up." I said.

"What's wrong now?" Saphy asked.

"Your water is cold." Phoebe replied.

"Sorry I can't make it any warmer." Saphy replied.

"That's ok, we got rinsed off, we should be fine." Phoebe said.

"Oh baby you're shivering." I replied out of concern for her.

"Let's just snuggle in bed for a bit." She said.

"Ok." I replied as we ran out of the shower and got under the sheets as fast as we could.

"Should I stay here or?" Saphy asked.

"You wanna play around in a little bit? We were planning to play with you anyway but now we need to warm up first. Cjs balls are the size of raisins." Phoebe said teasingly.

"Really Pheebles?" I asked.

"Well they got all cold so they got small." She replied.

"Not how that works." I replied.

"Saphy you wanna strip for us? Show us those big melons you were so thrilled to get?" Phoebe asked. "I remember when you digivolved the first time."

"Um." Saphy replied as she stood there nervous.

"Eh we'll figure it out together ok?" I asked.

"Ok." She replied.

"Here I think these just unclip and then you can slide your arms out." I said.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Pheebles, hands were I can see them." I said, teasingly.

"I'm not doing anything." She replied.

"Ok and these straps here should get your chest plate off I think." I said.

"I don't remember if she has anything under there or not I kinda hope so, can't be too comfortable with her nips rubbing up against bare metal all the time." I said.

"I don't feel them touching anything." Saphy said.

"Well still. Kitty and I ended up on the same world and it only took two years for us to reunite when the U.S.C found us. And I was with Ronnie by then and Kitty saw a lot of other guys and girls while I was married to her, but we were always friends. And I always had her back and she always had mine especially after Ronnie passed and we sort of hooked up and we just kind of stayed together ever since. Anyway we have nearly a century on you two. So if you're thinking I'm a better tamer just because of how well I get along with her, you're wrong. And Pheebles is usually the more compassionate of the two of us, so." I replied.

"Yeah, but you were monitoring my health the other day, and you let Kitty train with me, and you always have your digivice on you, well not right now cause you're naked, but still."

"Yeah well, Phoebe was teleporting everyone into the fight and I was hanging back on the apc without much better to do. We're all part of a team here, the whole tamer thing kind of falls by the wayside." I said.

"No it's fine I trust Saphy, I just wasn't expecting that. You miss me?" She asked.

"Wish you were here instead of her really if that helps." I said.

"That helps." She happily replied.

"You know we saw an episode of your show on tv here last night." I said.

"Yeah but your show has made it over here now." I said.

"Zari is busy, but she says hi and that she loves you and misses you." She said.

"Oh, ok, well you wanna talk to your sister?" I asked.

"Um, yeah ok I got some things to talk to her about." She replied.

"Allright then." I replied.

"Here Pheebles." I said as I handed her the phone.

"What am I supposed to say?" Phoebe asked.

"Just be nice and say hi, you know you like each other." I said.

"Hi tiny butt." Kitty replied. " What happened with Saphy?"

"Nothing Fluffybutt, we just had some fun with her this morning, and like CJ said I wish you were here instead, but you have your job we have ours." Phoebe said.

"Ok well, Saphy is fine, you can play with her whenever I'm not there I trust her, but are you leaving that whiny baby alone?"

"Actually yeah kind of, we hadn't had much time to talk to her yet." Phoebe replied as Saphy change back to her ranamon form to redress herself and I got up to get dressed as well.

"Well why don't you just continue to leave her alone?" Kitty suggested." She might try to hurt Cj after what I did to her, it's been bothering me since you left."

"Not a chance, it's not even on her mind." Phoebe replied.

"Really?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, and honestly you know it's going to take a little while for her to warm up to us for anything like that to happen, so quit worrying about it, you know I'd never put our husband in danger like that." Phoebe said.

"You say that but it's a miracle neither of you have any STDS." Kitty said.

"No it's not I can tell when people have them, if they do it will cross their mind eventually in the normal course of things. And we haven't been with that many." Phoebe said.

"If you get him sick I will never forgive you." Kitty said.

"I won't I just told you." Phoebe said.

"What if they don't know they have them?" Kitty asked a bit later.

"Well they'll think owe my pussy itches or something like that that's kind of suspicious." Phoebe said while I looked at her wondering what the fuck they were talking about as I put my pants on.

"Look Kitty, I'm glad you're concerned for our husband, but, it's not like we're sharing completely random girls from off the streets, these are our team members and prospective team members. It brings our team closer together. And the closer our team is, the greater the chance is that I can bring him back safely to you. " Phoebe said.

"There she goes with her spiel again." I muttered to Saphy who nodded in agreement with a smile.

"And sister, once this war is over it will probably stop anyway, our team is getting so big it's just not practical, we're going to have hundreds of people working for us, we won't even know them all. So then we'll slow down, and just kind of focus on us and our husband and whoever wants to keep being our viraras at that point ok?" Phoebe said.

"And you're going to stop with all the crazy virara stuff?" Kitty asked.

"Well, as I told Cj, we'll just see what happens after this ok, only thing that's for sure is us three and Zari. All the other girls? We're just going to have to see who comes and who goes. I can't see the future, but I can see the writing on the wall." Phoebe said.

"Ok well, I want to talk to Cj again." Kitty said.

"Right, love you sister." Phoebe said.

"Love you." Kitty replied with some reluctance.

"Cj she wants you again." Phoebe said.

"Ok, go and get dressed baby girl." I said.

"Right." She replied as she got her still butt naked self out of bed.

"Maybe you should just stay here with me next time." She suggested.

"Allright, if you say so." Kitty replied.

"I don't know, but I love you too, and seriously like I told her just stay away from the whiny baby for now, I don't care what Phoebe wants if she tries to talk you into it just walk away!" She said.

"Allright, I promise I will if that's what you want, just for you babe." I said, with complete sincerity. It was a long ways off from happening anyway, which I wasn't entirely sure she realized.

"Thankyou." She replied.

"Um, is Saphy in the room with you still?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, actually." I replied.

"Can I talk to her?" Kitty asked.

"You're not going to chew her out for playing with us?" I asked.

"No I'm not mad about that at all, I just have a favor to ask her, as a friend." She replied.

"Ok." I replied.

"Saphy she wants to talk to you now, please don't break my phone." I said as I handed it over to her.

"Kitty?" Saphy asked confused.

"Can Phoebe hear us?" Kitty asked.

"I don't think so she's on the other side of the room." Saphy replied.

"Well listen, if she tries to make Cj sleep with that new girl you have my permission to be alone with him for the night."

"That's great except doesn't Phoebe have to agree too?" Saphy asked, not really sure what to think of that.

"I don't care if she does or not I don't trust that girl she might try to hurt Cj to get back at me for cutting her leg off." Kitty said.

"She seems fine to me, she even got her leg back so what's the problem?" Saphy replied.

"She's still going on about that?" I asked with a laugh. I love that girl.

"Well you heard me, what you want to do with that is up to you. Now give the phone back to Cj." Kitty said.

"Understood." Saphy replied before giving me my phone back.

Kitty hadn't spoken to her since they fought, and she was usually in her persiamon form at the hotel so Natalia wouldn't recognize her for the hour or so they would've been in the same room during breakfast before we headed to the studio that day. So her concern wasn't out of the blue.

"Well allright then, just be a good girl, realize that you don't have to sleep with that new girl for her to be our friend and part of the team, like the other couples, and everything will be ok." I said.

With that we headed down to the lobby, where I sat with Saphy at a table while Phoebe set to work making pancakes for everyone. Tabby joined us a few minutes later, eventually followed by the rest of the group. Phoebe brought out a bunch of pancakes before sitting next to me as usual and breakfast proceeded as normal.

"Tabby did you sleep well last night?" Phoebe asked

"Yeah." She replied.

"I did too." Emika chimed.

"So you should both be ready for whatever happens today." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." Emika agreed.

"So um, what are we doing today besides breakfast? " Natalia asked.

"Somebody will call or come by and give us orders eventually, until then just kind of hang out, socialize with the group, don't wander off too far. Not all the civilians are happy about the way things are going and some might try to cause trouble and they're just not worth dealing with. It wouldn't take much to summon an angry mob against us, as pointless as it would be for them to try." I replied.

"Anyway, sometimes it takes a while for them to remember we exist, so don't get too worried." Phoebe said.

"You wanna try to come up with a plan or what?" I asked my beloved.

"Well Saphy wants to fight the cat guy, and we'll try to force the flyers to fight inside of a building, other than that we'll just have to adjust our strategy as we go, pretty much because we don't know who we'll come across first. I don't know if we're fighting all the flyers at once or maybe the others have their own subgroup too. Or even where we're fighting them." Phoebe asked.

"If you just punch them all enough times they'll fall eventually." IceLeomon said.

"How can you punch them if they're flying?" Lilly asked.

"I can jump." IceLeomon said.

"Not high enough." Phoebe said.

"I wish it were that easy. Not all of them can fly though so there'll definitely be some you can punch for sure." I said.

"Cj you should stay back this time." Phoebe said.

"I'll do what I can to avoid getting hurt Pheebles, you know that." I replied.

"You're still going to get hurt, I just know it." She said.

"We'll protect him." Emika said.

"Yeah." Tabby agreed.

"Good." Phoebe replied.

"What did you put in the pancakes Pheebles?" I asked, since she seemed to be unusually obsessed with me eating them. I was also just teasing and didn't honestly suspect her of anything.

"Same as usual just flour and other pancake stuff. Why would I poison you? That'd just make you more likely to get hurt." She replied.

"They taste fine to me." Emika said.

"And to me, but a good cook knows how to hide things." I said.

"Oh Cj, stop being dumb, why would I do that seriously?" She asked.

"I don't know, but you do a lot of things I don't understand." I said shortly before my phone started ringing.

"Is that them?" Natalia asked.

"No it's probably Kitty again." I said.

"Twice in one morning, she must really really miss you." Phoebe said before I answered the phone.

"Either that or something happened." I replied.

"Hey baby what's wrong? Did you get hit by a car again? It's ok, you don't need to sugarcoat anything you know I love you baby." I said.

I'm not going to tell you how that happened or how many times it has happened other than what this has already implied.

"That's really sweet, but I just went over those documents you sent and wanted to report back to you both." Mari replied.

"Oh, hey Mari, so uh, what do you know?" I said thoroughly embarrassed as everyone around tried not to laugh.

"Zari got hit by a car?" Mari asked.

"No, Kitty, she usually borrows Zari's phone to call me." I explained.

"Oh." Mari.

"Well, it looks like they've sent the Seranedites after you. " She said.

"Who? Hold on let me put you on speaker so everyone else can hear." I said as I did so.

The Seranedites, that is one, two, four, and their leader, twelve, they all dropped in at the same time, they're a team of explorers from another world who were arrested for interdimensional trespassing after voluntarily surrendering. Like it says they're all super strong and they can all fly through unknown, possibly magical means. So you can expect some coordination from them atleast. As for the others, they're lone wolves." She said.

"They sound like good candidates for future employment." Phoebe said, which wasn't untrue, if they really were just explorers being forced to fight after all.

"Number 3 is zombie man, he might be difficult, he's kind of unpredictable due to his powers the hypnosis doesn't hold him as well as the others so he's tried to escape multiple times in the past but sometimes he cooperates more out of just following the path of least resistance than anything else. 5 is Vulkan, he can make primitive knives and swords in seconds and if given a few minutes he can even make guns, on top of that he knows how to use them, so look out for that guy too." Mari said.

"The guy can make guns?" I asked.

"You know they won't fit in the digivice, they're not digital." Phoebe said.

"Aren't we going to get a mansion here?" I asked.

"6 is acid man, dude creeps me out, just stay away from him you'll be fine, also water hurts him when he's in acid form." Mari continued.

"I never interacted with 8 much so I don't have much else to add. 9, is probably new, 10 is Banshee, wear earplugs and don't let her get too close don't try to cover her mouth she'll blow your hand off. As for 11, she's a monster they call Ecta, I'm not even sure how they caught her she can suck the life out of things just by touching them, and uses some kind of dark energy as a weapon, almost like a dark elemental but not, she might be a match for you Phoebe, I'm not sure. " Mari said.

"Yeah well we'll see, if not we got Emika." Phoebe replied.

"Anyway aside from those twelve there's 2 others I was deployed with that haven't made their appearances yet to the best of my knowledge. One is The Count, he's a vampire, shady as hell and I imagine he probably was either killed or went rogue, like zombieman, he's another one they always seemed to have problems keeping him brainwashed due to his own abilities. He might be a problem in the future if he ever turns up, it's even more suspicious because he was supposed to be grouped with the other one that's missing, Unit Thirteen, a cyborg that well, I'm not sure what his deal is he seems more machine than human most of the time but he's human enough they can keep him brainwashed with their usual methods, he's a crackshot with a gun and ridiculously strong, so lookout for him. They might both be protecting Skyla though, so honestly I have no idea if you'll ever see them or not unless you wanna go after her. " Mari said.

"Allright, understood." I replied.

"We might eventually, I don't know." Phoebe said.

"Anyway, that's all I got for you, so be careful out there. See you when you get back sometime?" Mari said.

"Yeah sometime." I said.

"Mhm, bye for now." Phoebe agreed.

"Bye Mari see you soon!" Emika cutely chimed.

"Bye." Tabby added.

"Anyone else wanna say anything?" I asked.

"Ok then see you when we get back I guess." I said into the phone.

"Right." Mari replied before hanging up.

"And that's all the info we can get." I said.

"I got it all annotated." Phoebe said as she had been anticipating her call and had been quietly editing the documents with a pen she found the whole time.

"But she didn't know the pink girl at all." Phoebe said.

"Well that just means you have the fun of getting to know her yourself if she doesn't kill you." I said jokingly.

"Like I would let her do that." Phoebe replied.

"So um wait a minute." Natalia said.

"What?" I asked.

"I didn't know when to bring this up or if I really should, but, you know that girl that cut my leg off? I heard you on the phone when it happened. I didn't see her at the hotel back over there." She asked as Phoebe glared at her intently.

"Yeah, that's Kitty." I said. "Why?"

"So you also told them to save me?" She asked.

"Yes, but Zari probably would've anyway." I replied.

"Now that said. You attacked my wife and virara?" I said accusingly.

"She's your wife?" Natalia asked.

"Second wife." Phoebe decided to correct us.

"Well I just, wanted to say thank you." She nervously replied.

"Well you were brainwashed and she kicked your ass anyway, so, we're cool." I said.

"Good." She said.

"Might wanna say something to her though when we get back she thinks you might try to kill me." I said.

"I will." She said.

"Good. I'll be there to moderate don't worry." I replied.

"Does she stay at the hotel too?" Natalia asked.

"Oh she was there you just didn't recognize her and she didn't want to bring it up either." I said, slyly.

"Must have been that other girl you were sitting with then? The cat girl?" Natalia asked.

"Yep." I admitted.

"That really was her? Her skin isn't even the same color." Natalia asked.

"It's her persiamon form, she can change forms because she's a digimon. So can those 5 for that matter." I said, referring to Tabby, Saphy, IceLeomon, and the flower girls.

"We just don't change as often as she does." Saphy said.

"They all have human forms, and Saphy also has her Oceanamon form as well." I said.

"Can I see?" Natalia asked.

"Wait until we get into combat, then you'll see Saphy change maybe. And IceLeomon will start out in his human form, but he'll have armor on." I said.

"Ok." Natalia replied.

"So now we can share her?" Phoebe asked me telepathically as she quietly nodded in agreement.

"No, unless you wanna call Kitty and beg for permission." I replied.

"Eh, we can wait until we get back." She decided.

"Do you think Kitty will want to fight her?" Emika asked.

"Nah, she's worried, not angry. It takes a lot to anger her. She's not the brightest, and she can be violent when she's angry, mostly thanks to her powers, but she's a good girl at the end of the day." I said.

"Yeah it's definitely just her powers." Saphy said with some sarcasm.

"I've been with her twenty years, the worst she's ever hurt me is she has accidently cut me a few times while we were making love, but every girl does that on occasion she just has sharper nails than most, and she rarely does it anymore because she's learned to not claw into my back." I said.

"TMI." Natalia replied.

"Yeah." Saphy agreed.

"That's an interesting way to put it. " Phoebe said.

"We're the oldest members." I said.

"So it was just you two at some point?" Natalia asked.

"Yep, a really long time ago. Now we're what? 27 members strong?" Phoebe said.

"Yeah, something like that. We got so big we have two teams now." I replied.

"Unless you want to count all the pokémon then it's over 30." Phoebe said.

"True." I agreed.

"And after this we're going to get so big we won't know everybody." Phoebe said.

"That's a bit scary. Who's going to do all the hiring though?" I said.

"Well, we'll see, and I know it's scary, but it's necessary if we want to get back to our kids as fast as possible." Phoebe said.

"So that's why you're doing this?" Natalia asked.

"Mhm." Phoebe replied.

"You know how many people have died in this war so far?" Natalia asked.

"You know all we did was kick a war off that was already close to starting? If it wasn't there's no way Kitty could've started all those riots in Confria, the urge of the public to do so would've died shortly after they left their tv screens if it wasn't there to begin with, and this isn't going to be the only one against the space police and we're not going to be the ones that start them all, and if we're successful, this world will be a better place for everybody when it's done. Ultimately these wars need to be fought or they'll keep spreading across the multiverse." I said.

"I hope you're right." She replied.

"I know we're right, you know how corrupt they are, they arrest everyone who even sets foot in one of their worlds for trespassing, even though most ended up there by mistake and I've yet to see a portal machine that actually tells you whether the world you're about to enter belongs to the space police or not. We knew this one was but that's only because we were sent here by a literal god. They set up cameras everywhere and charge everyone for the slightest infractions. Their goal is to imprison and enslave countless millions across the multiverse through infiltrating their justice systems and gradually warping them until they're enslavement systems before they even realize, and they won't hesitate to spill whatever blood needs spilling in order to do so." I said.

"Ok let's find something else to talk about." Phoebe said.

"What else you wanna talk about baby?" I asked.

"Um, so Natalia you ever do your own nails?" Phoebe asked as she showed off her fingernails, trying to come up with something.

"Not in quite a while why?" Natalia asked.

"I have nail polish, we could do ours together sometime." Phoebe said.

"She did mine too." Emika chimed.

"It's fun and we could have like a sleepover party when we get back while Cj is with Kitty." Phoebe said.

"Can I join too?" Emika asked.

"Yeah and Saphy and Tabby and whoever else too." Phoebe said.

"Maybe Kitty and I can come by later?" I asked, knowing exactly what she was going to try to do.

"No, no boys allowed, just enjoy your night alone with her." Phoebe said.

"We won't do anything naughty I promise and I'll come by in the morning with Zari again." She said to me telepathically.

"I'll take you and Zari if you want those four." I said.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah have fun, I'm going to be screwing Kitty all night, so, you want to have an all-female orgy without me knock yourself out." I said.

"Thankyou, but I can't do that to you, not when you're going to be that sweet. Besides you don't owe it to me, Kitty is your wife too, and I let her be, so yeah. You being with her only lets me be with Zari if I want. I'll let you know if I start feeling jealous and you can pay me back yourself. " She replied before kissing me on the cheek.

"Well it's up to you baby, Just remember who you belong to the next morning." I said.

"Well duh." She replied.

"Of course before we can even think about that we need to get back first so Kitty and Natalia can work their thing out." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"But still I'm not doing that to you." Phoebe said.

"If you say so, I'm just saying you can if you want to, also there's Zari." I said.

"She can be in the sleepover too." Phoebe said.

"Ok, but whatever happens in that room happens, ok, just don't lie about it afterwards, because if one of those girls ends up telling me before you, then I will be mad at you." I said.

"I understand, but we won't do anything so yeah." Phoebe replied.

"If you say so." I said.

"You don't trust me?" She said.

"I don't know." I replied.

"What are you two talking about now?" Saphy asked.

"They're talking?" Natalia asked.

"When they both zone out like that they're talking to each other through their heads." Saphy explained.

"Really? They can do that?" Natalia asked.

"Yeah, well, she can. Sometimes she talks to others that way too, but not very often." Saphy replied.

"Hey dummies wake up!" Emika said as she clapped her hands in front of our faces.

"Don't do that!" Saphy scolded her.

"That's kind of rude." Natalia commented.

"What?" Phoebe asked.

"Watcha talking to each other about?" Emika asked.

"If we wanted you to know you would by now." I said.

"Yeah, you goofball." Phoebe added.

"Ohhh." Emika replied.

"We just need to talk things out alone sometimes, sorry if that bothers you." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." I said.

"Everything allright?" Emika asked.

"Everything is fine, party is still on if you all want to come, whenever we get back anyway." Phoebe said.

Several minutes later some officials showed up with orders to cart us out to some military outpost closer to the front. They were playing some kind of gambit, thinking it was a likely target for the enemy Heros to hit later that afternoon when a huge supply convoy would be rolling through bound for a forward operating base well within our controlled airspace, so we wouldn't have to worry about attack aircraft, just the "hero" officers if they decided to drop in. A convoy we were subtly charged with escorting which was an interesting change of pace, now we were protecting something instead of blowing something up. A convoy carrying MREs, medical supplies, ammunition, fuel, and well really just a bunch of stuff. We were also provided with a new apc, since our other one was shot down and lost out in the forest somewhere, and more than likely recaptured by the Listanians. Everyone that usually wore armor suited up in it and we got another set for Natalia as well, though it took some convincing to get her to wear it, as like Phoebe she preferred the greater mobility she had without it, but it could protect her when she went on the offensive and couldn't be intangible as well being able to slowly heal her if she got hurt.

"Ok Tabby, Emika, both of you can fly, why don't you stay just above the tree line and follow along, IceLeomon, Lilly, Violet, Saphy hop in one of the trucks that has room, and try to spread yourselves out a bit, one of you in one of the front trucks, another a quarter way along the line, another near the middle, and so on and keep your distance from the tankers, Pheebles, you're with me as usual in the apc and that's about as close to a plan as I can come up with at the moment." I said.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"And me?" Natalia asked.

"This is your first assignment so why don't you tag along with us too?" I asked.

"Ok." She replied.

"Are you trying to tempt me?" Phoebe asked me telepathically.

"Don't be weird about it." I said.

" I was thinking that with your powers and hers you could teleport out of the apc, she can phase through the side and you both can take them by surprise if the need arises while I drive." I said.

"Ok that's not a terrible plan." Phoebe agreed.

"And only you two can pull it off so." I said.

"Yeah." She agreed.

"Ok then now we just have to wait for the convoy to get here." Phoebe said to the group out loud as I put my helmet on.

About an hour later we were traveling with the convoy, waiting for something interesting to happen.

"So if we get attacked, I'll teleport out, and you go through the side, and we'll take them by surprise ok?" Phoebe explained the plan to Natalia as she pulled a few shurikens out of her digivice.

"Understood." Natalia replied.

Following the long slow line of trucks was kind of boring, after over an hour of uneventful driving later, we were starting to think this could very well be a boring day. Couldn't even get a good view of the scenery as the apc had tiny little slits for windows and I was driving mostly from a display screen connected to external cameras. Which gave me 4 points of view and little more.

I couldn't look around I could only look straight forward, straight left, straight right, or straight back. It was like playing a video game almost, except I was driving a very real armored vehicle.

"This is getting kind of boring." Phoebe said.

"Yep, but we knew they wouldn't attack right away." I replied.

"Or at all." Phoebe said.

"That's also entirely possible." I agreed.

"Awwe Pheebles, you want some enemies to play with?" I teasingly asked after a few seconds of silence.

"I don't want to chop up regular soldiers, but these should work ok on the heros right?" She asked.

"There's no way those can get through their armor." Natalia said.

"You'd be surprised." Phoebe said.

"They're not normal shurikens, they have homing capabilities, plus she can direct them with her powers." I said.

"How?" She asked.

"They're from the digital world, they follow the laws of their programming, not physics." I said.

"The what?" She asked.

"It's a long story. It's a world that consist entirely of computer code that usually has a more grounded host world where things are relatively normal. Though whether they exist in every universe or only a few is beyond me. I'm not even entire sure how we got there, we never went to the host world we were just pulled into the digital world directly. " I said.

"So much for getting back on that train." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, hopefully those guys are allright too." I replied.

"How many universes have you visited?" Natalia asked.

"I don't even remember." I replied.

"So you've been at this for some time?" Natalia asked.

"Over a century, but most of that was spent in one universe where they mastered interstellar space travel and could take spaceships between planets like we could drive cars between cities." I said.

"That sounds awesome." She replied.

"It was, it was, but the thing that was threatening the digital world made it to that world and was threatening to destroy it as well so, we had to go back in time and back to the digital world to destroy that thing and save both of them.

"Time travel too?" She asked.

"Like I said long story." I said.

"Yeah I made this huge time machine we could take our ship through and don't ask me how it works because I forgot, but generally it spins around and effectively creates a portal between two time periods determined by the speed of the rotation or something like that." She said.

"You built a time machine?" Natalia asked.

"Once, but I had a lot of people working for me and I honestly don't remember exactly how it works so I doubt I could do it again." Phoebe replied.

"She is a hell of a lot smarter than she lets on." I said.

"Not sure whether I should kiss you or slap you for that." She said as she stared daggers at me.

"Kiss me, I love you, you perverted little genius." I replied cheerfully.

"Maybe later since you're up there and driving." Phoebe replied.

"Ok, fair enough." I said.

"But you have to be a good boy." She teased.

"I am being a good boy." I said.

"So far." She teased.

"What's in front of us now?" She asked.

There were slits for windows she couldn't see out of from where she was, and tiny portholes in back. Most of the outward visibility was provided by a camera screen up front so it wasn't that bad to drive really you just had to get used to looking at the screen and not out the slits, and it even had night vision so you could drive at night without any headlights and sneak up on and hide from people, but visibility for people riding in the back was crap.

"The ass end of a truck full of crates, same as 5 minutes ago." I replied.

"What about the road?" She asked.

"Still on some sort of highway. I'll let you know if it changes baby girl." I said.

"Can I have your phone? Maybe I can talk to Kitty?" Phoebe asked.

"What you going to talk to her about?" I asked.

"Well she is my sister wife now, I just wanna see what she's up to?

"You'll probably be talking to Zari instead." I said.

"Well then let's see what she's up too, she's our virara, we can talk to them both." Phoebe said as she kept trying to get my phone out of my pocket with her powers without messing up my driving or destroying the phone which was a noticeable and strange feeling. Like the phone had become sentient and was trying to escape my pocket on its own.

"Really? Here." I said as I pulled it out and tossed it to her.

"Thankyou." She replied, somewhat teasingly.

"Tell Zari I love her and I said hi." I said.

"Well I gotta see if she'll answer first." Phoebe replied.

"Don't call her, just text, it's less distracting and we could get attacked at any moment and they don't need that on their conscience." I said.

"Ok ok." Phoebe replied.

They started texting while I continued to drive and Natalia stared out the tiny porthole on the side, quiet, but just as bored as I was.

"So what's it like meeting a god?" Natalia asked.

"Terrifying in that they could kill you easily if they choose, but also fascinating. Some are better and more experienced than others. Each universe seems to have its own, if not multiple ones." I replied.

"What if there's a super god above all the other gods?" Natalia asked.

"There very well could be, but we haven't heard of one yet." I said.

"And what about space travel?" Natalia asked.

"It can be very boring actually, especially if you're alone. There's stories of people that have gone crazy up there, all sexed and drugged out. When it was just me and Kitty in our ship together, we had a lot of sex just to pass the time. Then we'd stop at a station, which are basically cities in space, and I'd take her out, and we'd have some fun with our clothes on. And then after we got out of U.S.C we bumped into Zari." I said.

"I thought Phoebe was your first?" Natalia asked.

"I was, we were separated because we blew up a portal machine and it spread us all around that universe. It took a hundred years for us to get everyone back together again. During that time Kitty and Cj fell in love and Cj and Zari kind of fell in love and now the four of us are inseparable." Phoebe explained.

"I see." Natalia replied.

"So what about the newbies?" Natalia asked.

"We recruited them while we were on a sexual binge because we thought the universe was screwed because the Zelusians stole my time machine." Phoebe said, making Natalia glare at me accusingly.

"Don't look at me it was her idea." I said.

"Guilty." Phoebe admitted.

"I mean really what were we going to do? We have a luxury yaught, they have several capital ships. We only have enough firepower to deal with a few pirates in fighters. If we were on the ground we could take them, but ship on ship we had no chance in hell." I said.

"So how'd you get it back then?" Natalia asked.

"The U.S.C decided to help us and had a massive battle against the Zelusians for control of the machine." Phoebe said.

"Before that we were on the run from them for harboring Zari who was working for the zelusians for some time, and some crap Kitty pulled. So we really thought we were screwed, but Henry used his connections to talk them into assisting us." I said.

"How many pictures has Kitty sent you? Have you seen these yet?" Phoebe asked out of the blue.

"You're supposed to be texting her or Zari, not looking through the pictures." I said.

"I'm just scrolling up through the messages while I wait for a response. They're for me too, kind of." Phoebe said.

"You can look at all her pictures later, can't have you getting turned on right now." I said.

"Yeahhh, you're right I shouldn't." Phoebe replied.

"Oh they're those kinds of pictures." Natalia realized.

"Mhm, sometimes Zari sends some too." Phoebe said.

"You don't have to tell her that." I said.

"They're mostly of her feet anyway, weirdo. You want me to tell her that?" She told me telepathically.

"I never even asked for them though Kitty just kept sending them since she got back from the studio that night and I kept telling her she's sexy and beautiful in response, and I don't know where she learned all those poses, but damn." I replied.

"Yes but we both know why our sweet little Kitty is taking and sending them to you." Phoebe said.

"Because she loves me." I replied.

"Yeah and you love her feet in her human form, you dummy, and we all know it. I've seen you play with them in her persiamon form even." She said.

I never let her use her hands or feet on my thing in that form because of her claws, but she was still sensitive there and in that form she just liked having her paws fondled on occasion. It was more cute than sexy and actually mostly for her, just out of affection not attraction.

"So? I do that mostly for her you know that right? And I love yours too." I replied.

"Yeah because you're a weirdo." She teased.

"Why are you teasing me right now? Over stuff you've known for who knows how long?" I asked her out loud.

"Talking to each other again?" Natalia asked.

"Mhm." Phoebe confirmed.

"I'm teasing you Cj, because I'm bored and I want attention." Phoebe said bluntly and cheekily.

"Well I'm driving right now, so I'm sorry, but that's not really possible at the moment. So please baby, get your head in the game, I know this is boring as fuck, but there's some pretty high stakes here. Our lives, the lives of all these soldiers, whoever the hell all these supplies are going to." I said.

"More soldiers?" Phoebe suggested.

"Probably yes." I agreed.

"So come on baby." I said.

"Yeah, you're right again. You gonna make this up to me tonight?" She asked.

"It's not my fault, but you know I'm more than happy to when we're alone." I said.

"Ok, I'll try harder to stay focused then." She replied.

"Really?" Natalia chimed.

"We're married, you'll get used to it." Phoebe replied.

"You ever fight with Kitty over him?" Natalia asked out of curiosity.

"We're sisters, we're going to fight a lot not just over him but a lot of stupid things too, but at the end of the day we love each other and we'll always have each other's backs." Phoebe said.

"Ok, that's kind of sweet." Natalia replied.

"Mhm." Phoebe cutely agreed.

"Except you also like seeing her naked so that's a bit weird." Natalia said.

"Well we're sister wives, not like, real sisters, obviously, we're not even the same species, then it would be weird." Phoebe said.

"Oh Zari messaged me back finally." She added. "And she's asking if I saw all the pictures Kitty sent. Yep. Look how much she loves our husband though, it's adorable."

Thankfully the boredom wouldn't last too long as we were eventually ambushed by the Seranedites who flew in out of nowhere and overturned the first few trucks in the line, blocking the road. Iceleomon was the first to engage them, crawling out of one of the overturned trucks pretty much unscathed. Several friendly soldiers also got out of the trucks and opened fire on the enemies as well, but were incapacitated pretty quickly.

"Ok, we're stopping." I said.

"What happened?" Phoebe asked shortly before the gunshots started.

"Welp, somethings going on further up let's go see." I said as slowly meandered off the side of the road and drove passed a lot of the trucks.

"We'll pick up Saphy really quick." I said as I saw her walking towards us and stopped to pick her up, she climbed in and we started moving again.

"So I get to see you change form now?" Natalia asked.

"Once we get there you'll see." Saphy replied.

IceLeomon was quickly joined by Emika and Tabby as the three of them tried to hold the super-powered morons at bay while the rest of us made our way up the line and the globs of goopy stuff the bubbleguns shoot went everywhere. It seemed that the enemy heros were trying to recapture the ones we turned as well as the rest of our group rather than just killing them. To do this they all had what could best be described as an smg version of the bubblegun, slightly bigger and with a higher fire rate than the basic pistol most officers had. It was nearly just a bubble hose. I never understood how such a small weapon could hold that much stuff inside it. It must have been compressible somehow.

Anyway, they were way more focused on fighting us than the convoy at the moment, since the convoy would be a cakewalk without us in the way.

The friendly soldiers realized their bullets weren't doing much and started to fan out and take cover in the trees. Several unlucky ones were already bubbled to the road. Further back they left their trucks and cautiously headed towards the front along with us, with many getting in the way and slowing us down.

We stopped again to pick up Violet, Lilly already made it to the fight by the time we got there and was flying around trying to ensnare them. Once we got there, we stopped for a bit to grasp the situation.

"Are we there? Let's go." Saphy said as she moved to open the rear hatch.

"Hold on! Ok if we time this right we should be able to take two of them down with the bubble guns and the element of surprise alone, from the looks of all the bubble goo everywhere it seems they're not using lethal force this time for some reason. So Pheebles, give me my phone back, and pick a target. Princess, I know the view outside is terrible and you don't have her powers, but try to pick one too and when you're both ready head out at the same time." I said.

"They could flip us over at any moment." Saphy said.

"But they haven't so far and there's so many shooting at them right now. They'll ignore us until we do something." I said.

"I got one. Natalia?" Phoebe asked as she readied a bubble gun and the shadow princess gazed out of the porthole.

"Ready." She replied before readying her own bubble gun and phasing through and out of the APC. Phoebe teleported out a second or so later.

Two of them were immobilized and yelled for help which immediately drew attention from the others. They were both strong enough they could stretch the goo and it honestly seemed like they could possibly escape if given enough time, this meant that they were somehow stronger than both IceLeomon and Mari's brothers, but Phoebe put hers to sleep then teleported over to incapacitate the other as well while Saphy and Violet exited the APC and joined the fight, but before she could do so he actually managed to pry himself off the ground, and get back on his feet, still with a massive goo blob attached to him, so Phoebe got spooked and teleported away. With only one out of the fight IceLeomon was getting tired at this point as I feared getting another call from his wives. They were doing all they could to avoid getting bubbled.

Emika and Tabby managed to break away during the chaos and were firing arrows and spells at them from a distance where the relatively slow projectile speed and limited range of the bubbleguns made them easy to avoid. IceLeomon ran his machineguns out of ammo and switched to his digimon form, leaving his armor behind.

The one with the goo blob managed to get an arm free and free himself from said blob before returning to the fight.

I stayed in the apc, after watching all those soldiers dump lead into them, I realized there wasn't really much I could do in this fight. I could have sent out Aggron, but he would've been too slow for these guys, and would probably end up damaging the trucks and their cargo even more than some of them already were. The apc did have a big machine gun, but with so much going on there was too much of a chance I'd end up hitting my own team mates. Plus it could encourage them to step things up and start using lethal force. I needed a sniper, but of course I didn't have one. I had a 1700s style black powder cannon in the digivice, but no sniper, not even a rifle with a scope.

One started fighting IceLeomon up close, Saphy, now in her Oceanamon form, took a moment to generate quite large blob of water to try to drown him, which seemed to work until she was interrupted by the other one and knocked on her ass, she was hurt for 7 percent of her health according to Phoebes digivice that she left behind in her purse, and was bubbled shortly thereafter, the one IceLeomon was fighting got a few more punches in on him. Not sure how much damage but if it was the same as it did to Saphy he shouldn't still be standing.

IceLeomon fell to his knees, more tired than hurt, as the flower girls tried to restrain his opponent. Who took the opportunity to bubble him before focusing on the flowers as well.

Phoebe teleported in and debubbled him a few seconds later as well as Saphy, before teleporting out in the nick of time before she got bubbled herself. The flower girls were overwhelmed and bubbled before Saphy was bubbled again then Iceleomon again as the shadow princess tried to intervene only to get bubbled while she was attacking.

"This is bad this is really bad." Phoebe said after teleporting back inside the apc with me while Tabby and Emika went on the run.

"Yeah I know, they're fast as fuck." I said.

"I think it's time for Aggron." She said.

"Allright, if you think so, let's do it." I said as I got up from the driver's seat.

"No, you give me his pokeball and stay in here where you're nice and safe." She said.

"Oookaaay, fine." I replied with a hint of reluctance as I handed her his pokeball.

She teleported back out and sent him out, then told him what to do, as Tabby and Emika led them back towards Aggron.

Their punches were strong enough to hurt Aggron, but he could still take a few and he quickly drew all of their attention.

Yes Aggron should be weak to fighting, and they are, especially if they get taken down because one of the key weaknesses of an Aggron, is that if they ever end up on their back, they really struggle to get back up just due to the sheer weight of their bodies, but at his size that weakness is almost nullified because not many things are actually strong enough to do that. So yeah, they could punch pretty hard. A single hit from them could probably kill me, so I just stayed in the apc.

Aggron gave Phoebe a window to debubble our friends, the flower girls took to the air again and Lilly started using her flower cannon attack to make quite a lightshow. This went on for a few minutes with neither side gaining anything. Everyone but Phoebe got bubbled multiple times and Phoebe always found a window to debubble them again. Until she started to get tired and came back to me to take a breather before she could get hit.

"We might lose this." She said.

"Aggron is still up." I said.

"They're hurting him though, and everyone is getting tired." Phoebe said.

"Saphy is at 76%, no idea on the others, I don't think Tabby has gotten hit. " I replied.

"Yeah, she's been staying back." Phoebe said.

Aggron somehow managed to land a punch, sending one of them flying.

"You see that? Go find that guy and knock him out before he gets back up." I said.

"Too tired." Phoebe replied.

"Ok. Rest all you need." I replied, if she was too tired that was that, she wasn't one to slack off when things got serious.

"You think Tabby could heal Aggron?" I asked.

"I don't think they'll give her enough time, we should keep her from doing that until things get really bad." Phoebe said.

"You think you could throw jars of cream at him?" I asked.

"You know as big as he is he's going to need gallons of the stuff." Phoebe said.

"Not untrue." I replied.

Usually Aggron don't get that big, most are under 7ft, he's 23ft, thanks to some hacking done by his original trainer, a Godzilla in a pokeball, powerful as long as you're not concerned with collateral damage. He wouldn't be allowed to participate in sanctioned battles at all. Not just because of him being overpowered, but because of the damage he could do to most gyms which are just not built for pokémon that large.

IceLeomon was bubbled again, and seemed to be trying to escape on his own. I knew his wives were going to call any second now. No clue what his actual health was, but he looked pretty banged up. Saphy did too, but at the moment, with the fight in the air, she was defending herself pretty well with her powers. The fight moving to the air made it harder for those stuck on the ground to contribute, but it also made it harder for our enemies to use their physical attacks on anyone aside from Aggron.

I wondered how much easier this fight would be if Mari was here, but she wanted to stay with her brothers, and the newbies needed more members with powers, while the mechanorimon were decent at combat they still weren't close to the level of the other digimon and they tend to get knocked out a lot.

Anyway, the one Aggron managed to hit recovered and returned to the fight, allowing their leader to find a moment to debubble their sleeping comrade, then she picked him up and carried him off into the distance, seemingly trying to prevent his capture while the other two kept her covered. Aggron was starting to slow down from his injuries, he didn't look all that hurt, but their punches managed to bruise the flesh under the thick metal shelling that covers most of his body, causing the natural rock and steel type some pain. He didn't look hurt, but I could tell by the way he was moving he was pretty sore. Iceleomon kept trying to pry himself off of the pavement, eyes burning with determination to show them he was just as strong as they were.

To the surprise of everyone there this caused him to digivolve for the first time. He didn't want to take the same treatment Saphy and Kitty had to enable them to digivolve at will as he was terrified he'd turn into something cute and cuddly, due to having to spend some time stuck as a pandamon after he gambled away too much of his own data. But now it seemed that he was going to anyway, for better or for worse, whether he wanted to or not. This had the added effect of freeing him from the goo as it wasn't digital and cannot stick to digimon while they are in data form which they go into not just when they are defeated, but also very briefly while they're between forms, because they're still conscious when changing forms however, they can't be absorbed in that state.

Anyway, he digivolved into the beast known as saberleomon, a huge lion than even managed to dwarf his previous form, but was not quite as big as Aggron.

Everyone accept for Aggron who was too slow and weary to turn around and see had a "what the fuck?" moment at this point, particularly the enemies and non-digimon. The large beast digimon then jumped up and lept at one of the enemies, who retaliated by punching him, which was probably not the best idea as he himself retaliated with his claws, hitting him hard enough he layed sprawled out on the ground unable to move.

Then the huge beast pounced on him and it didn't get any prettier from there as their leader returned and they both watched their comrade get ripped to pieces, their armor not able to put up with the mega-level digimon's brutal assault. Aggron managed to turn around at that point and even he seemed to be surprised at the brutality of the bestial digimon roughly half his size. That guy down, he turned to face their leader only for both her and her comrade to attack him at once, throwing him onto his back as well and beating him mercilessly. They were both pissed, everyone else that was at hand tried to intervene aside from Aggron who was too big to do anything. IceLeomon, unable to hold his form any longer, reverted back to himself and seemed to be unconscious but not yet a data cloud. Then they covered him in bubble goo.

With him subdued, the enemy turned their attention to the others aside from Tabby who, being the angel that she is desperately tried to stabilize the now armless guy. Aggron waited for an opportunity to strike as at his size he couldn't use moves like rockslide with everyone so close to him without hitting himself and our team mates and had to resort to physical moves only. Not to mention a move like that could completely destroy the overturned trucks and their cargo. Some of which were crates of explosive shells that would more than likely start an unpredictable chain reaction if hit directly.

"Go get IceLeomon, he's hurt." I said.

"Ok." Phoebe replied before leaving to pull IceLeomon out of the fight. She came back with him a few seconds later and he collapsed on the ground next to the apc.

He was still conscious but barely.

"I, I didn't mean to tear him apart, I couldn't control, so much power, so much rage." He said.

"It happens, relax, your wives will probably call soon." I replied.

"Dammit, they're gonna be so upset." He lamented.

"Not as much as they would be if you got turned into a data cloud again." Phoebe said.

"Atleast I wasn't cute." IceLeomon said.

"Well you brutally clawed the dude's arms off so…..yeah that is pretty much the opposite of cute. I can still see the blood spatters from here dude, what the fuck? You fighting or painting a picture?" I said, half-jokingly, getting a laugh out of both him and Phoebe. "And you know, Kitty's my baby, I've seen her take out a lot of people in horrifying ways, it's just her nature, the weapons she has and knows how to use, but that was up there. That guy is going to be afraid of you for the rest of his life."

"No, remember they have a psychic working for them that can completely scrub his mind, he'll be fine." Phoebe said.

"If they can take him to them yeah." I agreed.

Tabby managed to reattach the poor guy's arms and his armor itself, which was torn up to the point it was leaking healing cream everywhere, started to seal up his other wounds. Though he would survive he was traumatized by the pain, and wouldn't stop shaking and screaming in abject terror. And all she got in return for piecing him back together was their leader angrily kicking her away from him. Their leader picked him up and then both took off down the highway. Once again, their priority shifting towards retreating, trying to prevent their capture.

"Should we chase them?" Violet asked.

"We don't know the area, you could get ambushed or lost out there." Natalia replied as they flew away.

-back in the apc-

"They left." I said.

"Let's go see the others then. Just stay by me in case they come back please?" Phoebe said.

"Ok if you say so baby." I replied.

We left the Apc then she took my hand and we walked over to the others together. I wanted to move the apc closer to the others, but IceLeomon was still leaning against it.

A few minutes later friendly soldiers emerged from the surrounding forest and started to access the damage and salvage the cargo from the overturned trucks, moving it to whatever available space they could find in the others.

"I didn't think chasing them was a good idea." Natalia said.

"I can't chase them, I can't fly." Saphy agreed.

"It's not smart to chase them, not out here, there's 8 more of them somewhere, they could've been waiting for you to follow them straight to an ambush or something." I said.

"Really Pheebles?" Saphy asked in disbelief.

"Give it time, you'll know they'll come back, probably with more gear." I replied.

"She kicked me. I put their friend back together and she kicked me." Tabby said.

" She doesn't know she's on the wrong side yet. Are you ok Tabby? Is everyone ok?" Phoebe said.

"I'm allright." Tabby replied.

"They hit me pretty hard too. It still hurts." Saphy said.

"That was 7 percent of your health for the one punch. You're down to 72%." I said.

"You were watching it again for me?" She asked.

"I had nothing better to do." I replied. "There wasn't much point in me trying to shoot at them."

"Yeah you should stay home next time and then you can play with Kitty every night while I'm gone." Phoebe said.

"No, we've been over this, I'm not going to lose you again." I said.

"You won't, I got all of these girls and the big guy over there to protect me. You keep me comfortable at night but I'd be even more comfortable knowing you're a lot safer back in Confria, snuggled up next to Kitty. You know she'd love it if you stayed too." Phoebe said confidently.

"I know she would, but I'm more comfortable knowing I'm doing everything I can to keep us both alive. We've been over this before, let it go." I replied.

"But you're not doing anything to keep me alive you're just putting yourself at risk." Phoebe said." Anyway Tabby, can you take care of Iceleomon and Aggron?"

"Yeah, I was going to anyway." Tabby replied shortly before my phone went off.

"And that's his wives." I said, looking at my phone, not wanting to answer it, since they moved to the hotel in Oceanside with the rest of our group, they got their own phone now, seemingly just for this reason. To chew me out whenever her got hurt.

"Here I'll go give it to him." Phoebe said as she relieved me of my phone again while

Tabby went to treat Aggron's wounds.

"I thought you wanted me to stay by you?" I asked after she teleported over to him and back.

"It was just for a few seconds no worries." She replied with a smile.

"And you know it's still not happening." I said.

"Look I might not have been able to do anything for this battle, but the opportunity might come up, and if I'm not here, and you die, I will never forgive myself." I said.

"We have Tabby." Phoebe said.

"I know, but shit can still happen, it has before." I argued, trying to get through to her.

"I know, but I still want you to think about it." She replied.

"Well I want you to stop thinking about it, because it's not happening." I said.

"So when are we going to get moving again?" Emika interjected.

"I don't know, go ask one of our friends over there." I said.

"Ok, don't get grumpy with me." Emika replied.

"Whose side are you on mine or his?" Phoebe asked.

"Don't ask me! I'm staying out of whatever this is." Emika said.

"Yeah, sort this out yourselves." Natalia agreed.

"Smart girls." I replied as Emika headed off to go find one of the soldiers to talk too, Natalia following her out of convenience.

"Why don't we stop arguing for now and start unbubbling all those soldiers? " Phoebe asked. "They look sad."

"Yeah that's probably a good idea." I agreed.

"I'm glad he's here, atleast he can watch my health and pull me out while you're busy fighting." Saphy said a she came up and kissed me on the cheek.

"Thanks Saphy." I replied.

"Hey don't kiss him you're not our virara yet." Phoebe said.

"I don't care." Saphy replied.

Phoebe gave her a look that I've seen her give to very few people that are still alive today. Then she looked at the bubble gun she was holding, then she started to point it at Saphy.

"It's still mean." I replied.

After we helped sort things out, We were up and going again about an hour and a half later or so, everyone unfortunate enough to get bubbled was unbubbled, Tabby healed everyone that was wounded, and after that they emptied the overturned trucks before righting them using some ratchet straps and the apc as an anchor point, before pushing them off to the side of the road out of the way, a few crates were broken open and some cargo was damaged, but not a whole lot surprisingly, mostly just the crates, the actual contents faired pretty well. The trucks that were flipped over were trashed if not totaled though so they were just moved out of the way and abandoned for the sake of keeping the convoy moving.

"Pheebles, you gonna be mad at me the rest of the day?" I asked as we went back to following the trucks. It was just us in the apc now. Natalia wasn't sure how long we were going to keep arguing so she opted to ride in one of the trucks this time.

"No, just for a while longer." She replied.

Later that evening, we finally arrived at our destination, a forward operating base north of a small town known as Colpeck. There was only one to stay in in the entire town so it would have to do. Nothing fancy, not even a pool for Saphy to hang out in, but it was better than staying on base, which we didn't have to do because we technically weren't part of the army and acting more like a group of mercenaries at this point. Phoebe used her powers to bypass the lock on the front door, we stormed the lobby, found the keys to the rooms behind the front desk and handed them out to everyone.

We've gone over this before, I kind of just want them to all be our viraras while nothing is on paper and then we can just see who stays and who goes from there, then once this war is over, things settle down, and we establish somewhat normal lives, we can make things more official." "You realize you and Kitty are the only two I've actually lived with in a purely domestic setting? I have no idea what any of those girls would be like in day to day life. So slow it down ok? "Yeah I've seen her gleefully walk straight into walls at times cause she got distracted by something or other." I said.

"I've seen her eat lots of weird alien stuff that turned out pretty bad too." I said.

"Yeah, I remember." I agreed as a flood of unfortunate memories and flavors rushed into my head.

"And you got really sick a few times and I was so worried." Kitty said.

"Oh he did?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah it was scary." Kitty replied.

"What did he eat?" Phoebe asked.

"I forgot what it was called, but it was some kind of meat that was apparently poisonous." Kitty said. "Only a few humanoids can actually eat it, of course I can too because I'm a digimon and can't get sick, but still. We didn't leave the house the entire week."

"Yeah, see, it happens Pheebles its ok." Zari said.

"Yeah, as long as you don't get sick." Kitty agreed.

"I know, but the whole room was looking." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah well, they all know you're not from here." I said. "Anyway so what was your show about today Kitty Kat?"

"We just went over today's news, we didn't bring anybody in to interview or anything, I just slept on the couch most of the day." She said. "You staying away from that shadow girl princess or whatever?"

"Have been so far, you two need to talk though, when we get back." I said.

"I don't knowwww, are you sure that's a good idea?" She asked.

"Yeah, why hold onto it like that forever when you can just talk to her and leave it in the past? " I asked.

"Right, it's more trouble for you to just avoid her for as long as she's in our group, however long that may be." Phoebe said.

"You could kick her out." Kitty said.

"No, you just need to suck it up and talk to her and get this over with, she's not nearly as mad at you as you think she is, she's actually grateful Zari healed her." Phoebe said.

"Well what if she's lying?" Kitty asked.

"She can't lie to me sister, you know that." Phoebe replied.

"Oh….right." Kitty said. "Well stay away from her for now."

"I will, and she's going to be on her own if she doesn't so." I replied.

"You can go to Saphy if you need too." Kitty said.

"I always wondered what it would be like to get married." Kitty said.

We had gone to several other people's weddings while in the U.S.C so she was familiar with the concept by now.

"I don't know, maybe, it's kind of awkward to go through it all again." Zari said.

"I went through it four times, all to Cj." Phoebe said.

"Why?" Zari asked.

"Well, the first time we just kind of signed the papers, then his parents wanted one, then my parents wanted one and I always wanted to get married in the gardevoir city where I grew up anyway, then we renewed our vows when we were reunited, and we also made Kitty our virara, you were there for that one, so yeah that's why." Phoebe briefly explained.

"So how about when Kitty has hers we'll make you our virara officially, and then when everything is settled, and it looks like we're all going to get along well in day to day life, and when we're ready we'll let you marry him too, and I think that will probably be it, no more wives." Phoebe said.

We had another round then tried to sleep, eventually the next morning arrived.

"No I just like cooking for my husband and our friends, and it's just pancakes or some other simple thing, there's not much you can do to help anyway." She said as we headed down the hallway.

"Oh but Saphy can? " I asked.

"No she'll mostly just sit there and talk." Phoebe replied.

"Well why can't I?" I asked.

"Because you'll get in the way." She said.

"Pheebles." I scolded her.

"You know the rules." She replied.

"The rules that you made up that don't make any sense. You know I can cook too right? Ask Kitty, I made lots of things for her, and she doesn't really care for cooking much at all. " I said.

"Yeah well, that was when we were still separated. Now you never have to worry about having to cook gross burnt food for yourself ever again!" She teasingly replied.

"Kitty liked it." I said.

"Yeah well, Kitty is Kitty." She said.

"Pheebles." I scolded her.

"You know I'll let you cook sometimes, but not today." She said. "Anyway I think this is Saphy's room, let's see if she's awake."

She knocked on the door a few times to no response.

"I guess not." She said after a bit before bypassing the lock with her powers and peaking into the room.

"Pheebles leave her alone come on. Don't just break into her room!" I scolded her.

"I'm not breaking anything, I have the key." She said as she held her hand and made it glow a little bit.

I glared at her in disapproval but she decided to turn back towards the room and ignore me. Thankfully Saphy was our friend and possible virara to be and not some random hotel guest, but it still seemed incredibly intrusive.

"Saphy?" She cutely called out to her. "I think she's in the shower."

"Well wait until she comes out then." I said.

"Saphy are you in there?" Phoebe as she knocked on the bathroom door.

"Cj has a present for you." Phoebe said.

"Oh my god Pheebles." I face palmed.

"What?" Saphy grumpily replied.

"Is she sleeping in there?" I asked.

"No I'm just showering." She replied.

"Ok good because otherwise if that was on all night you just wasted a lot of water and you'll probably piss off most of the town if they find out." I said.

"Well it wasn't, but that's good to know." She replied.

"You want to keep Cj busy while I make breakfast? It's been awhile he should be ready to go again." Phoebe asked.

"I thought she was going to help you with breakfast?" I asked.

"She will, by keeping you busy." Phoebe said.

"Somebody needs to be tickled relentlessly." I said.

"No." She replied.

"Yes." I said before I started to tickle her sides.

"Didn't we do this yesterday?" Saphy asked as Phoebe teleported behind me and jumped up on my back.

"Yeah well, if you're going to be our virara, you going to have to get a lot more used to this." Phoebe said before I playfully threw her onto the bed.

"Woah, Cj?" She asked as she looked at me with some concern.

"You ok?" I asked, not meaning to hurt her.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Good because I'm not done tickling you." I said, playfully.

"Wait no!" She said as I gently pinned her to the bed and went for her sides again as Saphy shut the shower off and emerged from the bathroom just as she burst into adorable laughter.

"What are you two doing?" She asked, oddly fully dressed already in her normal ranamon clothes.

"Help he's trying to tickle me silly!" Phoebe said.

"She's already silly so she must be tickled!" I replied.

"Noooo, Saphy help!" Phoebe said.

"You wanna play around or not?" Saphy asked.

"Here I'll get her feet you get her arms and belly." I said.

"You going to be a good girl if I just hold you?" I asked as we changed positions until she was kind of sitting on my lap on the bed.

"Yeah." She replied.

"You going to let me hangout with you in the kitchen?" I asked.

"Really?" I asked.

"Mhm." She replied.

"What do you think Saphy? Does that count as her being naughty?" I asked.

"I don't know." Saphy said.

"Why because I want you to have breakfast without lifting a finger while giving you a chance to play with Saphy since we might consider making her our virara next?" She asked.

"No because I wanna hang out in the kitchen with you and watch you cook and help out and maybe we could even make more food for our friends that way too, but you won't let me." I said.

"Most of them don't even need to eat." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, but they'll still enjoy it." I said.

"Not today, I already made up my mind. You two can stay here and mess around or go wait out in the lobby for the others if you're not feeling up to it, but Cj you are banned from the kitchen" She said.

"Well then you're banned from the kitchen." I said.

"What?" She asked.

"You heard me you're banned." I said.

"You can't ban me from my kitchen." She said.

"It's not your kitchen, it's whoever was running this hotel prior to it being abandoned, they'll probably come back when the war has moved on." I said.

"Well how are you going to keep me out?" She asked.

"Could just keep rubbing your boobs and make you stay here until they go back to normal." I said.

"Mmmm." Saphy seemed amused at the prospect.

"Ok then we'll have to find some other way." I said.

"Here." She said before she sweetly kissed me on the cheek. Then she teleported directly behind Saphy.

"I'll come back to check on you when breakfast is ready." She said before teleporting out of the room and presumably down the hall.

"She just ran away from me. Can you believe that?" I asked.

"She's in a strange mood today." Saphy replied. "So um, you maybe wanna play around?"

"Nah, let's go invade the kitchen." I said, not really in the mood at all.

"You think she went there?" Saphy asked.

"I would assume, you coming?" I replied.

"I got nothing better to do." She replied as we left the room together.

"What are we going to do when we get there though?" Saphy asked.

"We'll just keep bugging Pheebles." I said.

"Why?" Saphy asked.

"Because I love her." I said.

Of course when we got there, our plan was quickly foiled because she locked the kitchen door behind her and we had no idea where the keys were.

"Really baby girl you're just going to lock yourself in the kitchen?" I asked.

"I thought you might follow me. Go take a seat, breakfast will be ready in a bit." She said through the door.

"Well then I'll just sit by the door and talk to you then." I said.

"About what?" She asked.

"I don't know, what you making in there? More pancakes?" I asked.

"And some omelets." She replied.

"Ok." I replied with a laugh.

"What kind of poison you putting in this time?" I asked, jokingly.

"I'm not poisoning anything you goofball. I'd never do that to you or any of our friends." She said.

"Why you so adamant about not letting anyone in there with you then?" I asked.

"Because I wanna do all the cooking, I enjoy it." She said.

"I get that, but that doesn't mean you have to do all of it on your own. I enjoy working together with you on things." I said.

"Well maybe we can tomorrow then, but not today." She said.

"Allright then." I said.

"That's it?" Saphy asked.

"Yep, we can't get in there, we can't do anything, no point in pressing it any further, you wanna get a table and wait for the others?" I asked.

"I guess we can." Saphy replied.

"So how are you feeling about all this?" I asked once we sat down at a table together.

"I'm ok I guess." She replied.

"You still have the hots for Pheebles?" I asked.

"She's great, but I think I like you better as a person." She said.

"Maybe you just need to know more people." I suggested.

"I don't know." She said.

"What are your plans for after this war is over?" I asked.

"I'm staying with you, obviously." Saphy replied.

"What about when we finally make it home?" I asked.

"I don't know." She replied.

"What do you want out of a relationship?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" She replied.

"Are you ok with the way things are now, or do you want to find somebody you can get really close too like I am with Phoebe and Kitty? Because if that's the case I highly recommend you going your own way." I said.

"I'm ok with this, I just don't want to leave you guys, the only thing I want to change is I want you to be my tamer now." Saphy replied.

"Can you do that?" I asked.

"I think so, I'm going to ask Tabby when she shows up." Saphy said.

-several minutes later when Tabby showed up.-

"No she can't just give her digivice to Cj, you were assigned to each other by Ophanimon herself." Tabby said.

"That and it just makes more sense for Phoebe to have her own digivice so she can carry her shurikens, whatever we have left for digiroot paste, and other weapons around easier. " I said.

"Ok." Saphy replied.

"Now that said Tabby is their really any reason other than that, is there things she can do with her digivice that I can't and vice versa?" I asked.

"Yeah, actually, Saphy can draw power through it from her, she can't from you, their souls are linked, and yours is to Kitties and I don't have the power to change that. It hasn't come into play much because you both became more powerful than we could have imagined through other means, but, that is how it works." Tabby said.

"Really? It was supposed to be even harder than that?" I asked.

"You know by now there were supposed to be more chosen, most of them didn't even make it to that hotel. You guys walked into a completely messed up situation and still managed to not only walk away, but with a victory." Tabby said

By far the most useful feature of the digivice was it's built in inventory system, even though it's limited to only being able to store digital objects. That was why we were relying on Tabby for healing whenever we could because we had an irreplaceable supply of that paste. The kind of healing cream the space police use in their armor cannot be stored in the digivice. Though it works just as well it has to be carried in physical containers. Typically re-used plastic bottles. On the front line, armor sets that are damaged in combat tend to get cut up just for the cream.

" Ok so, what are your plans for after this war is over?" I asked.

"I'll go wherever you go, I mean it, I want to devote the rest of my existence to serving the two of you. I owe it both to you and Ophanimon." Tabby said.

"Ok." I sheepishly replied.

"And you're sure about that?" I asked.

"I am your angel." She said.

"If that's really what you want." I said.

"What if somebody else catches your eye?" Saphy asked.

"Then I shall remove thine eyes for they have sinned." Tabby said.

"Well don't do that! They'd just come back anyway when they heal, but as I was just telling Saphy, You're ok with never finding anyone that could love you as much as I love my Pheebles and Kitty?" I asked.

"Whatever love you can spare is enough. I want to learn to love you both in that way." She said.

"Pheebles!" I called for my beloved.

"What?" She asked from the kitchen.

"Come out here we need to talk." I said.

"I can't right now, pancakes are cooking." She replied.

"Well come out here when you can." I said.

"What happened to that Samael guy you were messing around with or whatever his name was?" Saphy asked.

"He's history, he's still back in the digital world even, if it's what you wish I promise to never let another cock defile my body." Tabby said.

"Well then I guess you can just be our angel for now, I'm not sure if you're virara material yet." I said as I felt nothing for her aside from her being gorgeous.

"Thankyou." She replied. "I don't feel like I'm worthy either."

"You are, it's just these things can't be rushed." I said.

"What's going on?" Phoebe asked as she finally left the kitchen.

"Just read my thoughts." I said, unwilling to explain it.

"Well if you're that sure Tabby we can bump you up the list a bit maybe, but, we still have to talk things over with Kitty and Zari first, and you need to settle down a bit, I know we're heros, but we're not deities. Other than that you have your mind set so I'm not sure what to say to you." Phoebe said after taking a moment to read me.

"Thankyou for your words my goddess." Tabby replied.

"Please stop calling us that." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, same." I agreed.

"Ok I got more cooking to do if we're done here." Phoebe said.

"You can teach me how to cook and I'll cook for you." Tabby volunteered.

"Good luck with that." I said with a laugh.

"Not today, but later we should talk in private when we get the chance." Phoebe replied before blipping back into the kitchen.

"I look forward to serving your every need." Tabby said.

"What if we don't need anything?" I asked.

"Then I will stand by until you do." She replied.

"Just keep doing what you're doing for now, you're doing fine." I said.

"Thankyou sir." She replied.

"It's just Cj." I said.

"Sorry." She replied.

"Tabby if you want to serve me spend tonight with Cj while I spend it with Saphy." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Tabby replied.

"Is that ok Cj?" She asked.

"We'll see what happens tonight." I replied.

"Why does she want me tonight?" Saphy asked.

"She really wants to find our next virara, not that we really need one. She is by far the neediest." I said.

"And what does Kitty have to say about all of this?" Tabby replied.

"She rather I just go through with it than fight about it." I said. "By the way you have to serve her too you know, since she is my wife now."

"That's why I asked." She replied.

"Well she'll probably call at some point and then you can ask her. Or maybe not since we talked to her last night too, normally she would've called by now." I said.

The rest of the group trickled in a bit later and the conversation turned to more normal things as we waited for the day's assignment.

Kitty called later than usual in the middle of breakfast, so I stepped away from the table with Phoebe and Tabby to talk to her away from the others.

"Kitty baby, how's it going?"

"Everything is great so far today. Sorry I just woke up." She said.

"Well that's good. I don't really have much new to tell, except I guess Tabby decided she's our angel now." I said.

"What's that mean? Did you make her a virara without telling me?" Kitty asked.

"No. I don't really know what it means but she wants to follow us like she followed Ophanimon, so, you want to talk to her?" I asked.

"Yes please." She said.

"Ok." I replied before handing the phone over to Tabby.

"You want my Cj now too huh?" Kitty asked.

"Kitty my goddess, I want to serve you all, not just him." Tabby said.

"Ok well, I guess that's a bit better. Then keep him company if he wants it, if not, leave him alone, if Phoebe tries to force you just fly away or something. Oh and um, keep them away from that shadow baby whore." Kitty said.

"But what if she wants the opposite?" Tabby said.

"Well then listen to me, as a fellow digimon." Kitty said.

"Do you think I'm worthy of being your virara?" Tabby asked.

"No we're not adding any more viraras right now. I don't know what that tiny assed weirdo is thinking. Sorry, but put Cj back on." Kitty replied.

"Baby?" I asked.

"Please don't make anyone else our virara, we can talk when you get back." Kitty said.

"Of course baby, I'm doing whatever I can to slow this down as much as possible." I said.

"Good." She replied.

"Love you, is Phoebe there too?" She asked.

"Yeah I'll put her on." I said before handing her the phone.

"I'm not mad, but I know you never listen! And stay away from the shadow baby. Other than that I don't care, you're going to do what you're going to do anyway. But no more viraras right now especially without me." Kitty said.

"Ok ok." Phoebe said.

"Cj she yelled at me!" Phoebe said away from the phone.

"If that gets you to slow down." I said with a shrug, not even sure what I was supposed to do exactly.

"Ok we were already doing both those things though, we're not making anybody our virara Tabby just decided she wanted to serve us and well really what are we supposed to do tell her no?" Phoebe asked.

"Ok, I'm sorry I yelled, but you're really stubborn sometimes and you got me worried about what you were planning I don't want you to come home and have like 50 new viraras I don't even know." Kitty said.

"We won't make decisions like that without your input, I promise." Phoebe said.

"Ok good, now you just need to keep Cj safe and stay away from shadow bitch." Kitty replied.

"Of course, but that's a bit harsh, she's really not that mean." Phoebe replied.

"Ok well just stay away from her, and put Cj back on." She said.

"Love you sister." Phoebe said.

"Love you too, I guess, even though you never listen." Kitty replied reluctantly.

"I am though." Phoebe replied.

"I hope so, now put Cj back on." Kitty said.

"Baby?" I asked after Phoebe gave the phone back to me.

"Well we're not, not until we get back atleast, we're just testing you out and spicing up our bedroom activities a little bit." Phoebe said.

" I'm kind of surprised she even yelled at you. She asked me the same thing but a lot more sweetly. " I said.

"Well she did apologize atleast when she knew she messed up." Phoebe said.

"Well that's good." I said. "Anyway I still got pancakes to get back to. You girls coming?"

"Yeah ok." Tabby said.

"Can I sit on your lap again?" Phoebe asked.

"When I finish my pancakes." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

Breakfast came and went. Our friends got tired of waiting around in the cafeteria, the flower girls returned to their room. Natalia and IceLeomon went outside to explore the small town, unafraid of the civilians, many of which were not happy about the Confrian occupation.

"Ok then neither of you are allowed to learn it." I said.

"That shouldn't be a problem. Only two books in this world have any real information on magic, and I don't know where they even are." Emika said.

"Keep it that way." I said.

"But they are my books! If I see them I'm taking them back." Emika said.

"Well then just keep them away from Pheebles, and if either of them have that part, don't read it." I said.

"Ok." Emika said.

"Cj even if I find out how I won't use it I promise." Phoebe said.

"Eheh, sure." I replied, not trusting her at all.

"Let's go outside." Phoebe said as she got off of me.

"Ok." Emika replied.

"Saphy, Tabby, one of you stay here in case somebody shows up with new orders." Phoebe said.

"I will." Tabby said.

"Ok then, Saphy you wanna come with us?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah ok." Saphy replied.

And so we all went outside except for Tabby who stayed behind, just happy to serve. The parking lot was empty aside from the Humvee like trucks we borrowed from the army, so there was quite a bit of space for them to practice.

"See this is what I can do." Phoebe said as she created a shadowball and then threw it at the ground a fair distance in front of her where it harmlessly crashed into the asphalt.

Shadowballs don't do much physical damage to things, it depends on size, but most are comparable in size and impact to a baseball if thrown by a normal person. It's the spiritual damage they do to living beings that their true power comes from. They sap energy from living beings in its purest form. They are particularly devastating to things like ghost type pokémon that are mostly, if not all spiritual energy as well as similar beings.

"I see, it looks like type less or maybe dark magic. It's weird you can use it without an incantation though." Emika said.

"I also have telekinesis." Phoebe said.

"Yeah that would also fall under type less magic, it's usually regarded as the weakest kind but you can use it so naturally." Emika said.

"Solwo." She said as she somehow managed to create a shadowball of her own.

"Interesting." Phoebe replied.

"Sowo apoleo " She said before creating a fireball and launching it harmlessly at the ground.

"Sowo apoleo?" Phoebe said as she tried the same thing, only to make another shadow ball.

"Try again?" Emika replied.

"Sowo apoleo?" Phoebe said as she tried the same thing again, with the same result.

"Maybe if I think about fire and how hot it is?" Phoebe suggested.

"Yeah that might help." Emika replied.

"Ok, Sowo apoleo." She said, creating a fireball that then burned her hand and exploded.

"Owwwwwww Cj go get Tabby now! Hurry!" She yelped in pain.

"Oh fuck." I replied before I set off for the hotel entrance.

"Saphy!" she cried a she held her hand out to her.

"I got you hold on." Saphy replied before spraying her hand with water.

"Nnnng that's a bit better, it still hurts though." Phoebe said.

Thirty seconds or so later I came back with Tabby and had her heal my sweet baby girl up real quick.

"You got hurt." I said teasingly as Tabby tended to her wound.

"Yeah, well, I didn't know that would happen." My beloved replied.

"Not enough mana to sustain it, it would also help if you used a staff instead of your hands. I also can't tell if you're doing it or it's just drawing excess mana from my staff." Emika said.

"But it did something." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, but burning yourself isn't going to help much in a fight." Emika said.

"Yeah, well, oh well." Phoebe said.

"I tried it without my staff here and it didn't work, so, I'm going to step away, and let you try again." Emika said.

"What if I burn myself again?" Phoebe asked.

"If I have this right nothing should happen and if not, Tabby is here now." Emika said.

"Should somebody go back inside?" Saphy asked.

"Eh, we'll only be out here for a little bit longer." I replied.

"Cj if this kind of works and I burn myself again, can we have that foursome?" Phoebe asked.

"No." I replied.

"Oh be nice what is there to lose?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, you know we'll all have fun." Tabby said.

"You're outvoted." Phoebe said.

"They aren't even our viraras." I replied.

"I know but still. OK be quiet let me concentrate." Phoebe said.

"Think about the fire and say it with authority." Emika said.

"Ok, Sowo apoleo!" She said, creating a fireball that slowly flew a few feet ahead of her and then exploded harmlessly.

"I did it." She cheered.

"Ok yeah, you're drawing power from my staff. I saw it travel that time. So there's no way you're doing this on your own, but it is still impressive. To draw that much at that range. You'd be really dangerous on my world if you learned more spells. Since there would be mana everywhere." Emika said.

"Ok, Cj it's sexy time. You wanna just sit around and be bored until we get our orders or do you want to play with all of us? Because they're still not here yet and it's a good time for some group bonding." Phoebe said before coming over and wrapping her arms around me.

"So come on, you have nothing to lose. I'd bet you'd play with Kitty if you were back with her." Phoebe said as she looked into my eyes with an insane amount of hope and lust

"Kitty also would be fine with just snuggling and even if she wanted sex she wouldn't rope in every other girl in the vicinity." I replied.

"Well still, if you're not going to play with us, why are you here?" She asked, mischievously.

"You know damned well, we've been over this, because I don't want you to get killed out here on your own, and leave me having to live with myself always knowing I could've done more." I said.

"Well, still, come on please?" She asked.

"I'll take Saphy and Tabby, but you're going to go to another room and sit in the corner with your clothes on. And then maybe I'll play with you tonight if you're a good girl." I said.

"That's not fair." She replied.

"Then I get Tabby and Emika and you get Saphy and we're in different rooms." I said.

"No I want you too. It's pointless if we're not together." Phoebe said.

"Ok then you're going to sit in the corner with your clothes on the whole time." I said.

"No! Then we're not sharing them." Phoebe said.

"I know I'm just trying to figure out what your whole thing is." I said.

I was also trying to see if being so unfair could get her to change her mind, but it failed.

"Sharing beautiful women with my husband." She replied.

"So it's not just out of voyeurism?" I asked.

"Well you are my husband I can't help if I like watching you, but you should know by now I really like to play too." She said.

"Fair enough I guess." I replied. "Oh, ok then, but if anything bad happens because of this it's all your fault." I said, honestly not knowing what else to do. It was either say yes and have some cheap fun or have her ask me again every five minutes while trying all manner of seduction techniques on me with the other girls possibly trying as well, while we desperately tried to find some other way to kill time, with me being the only one seriously trying.

"Of course." Phoebe replied.

"And you have to explain it to Kitty." I said.

"I will, and she'll understand, we were all on that bus together." Phoebe said.

"Ok then fine, only cause I know you won't shut up about it." I said.

"Oh don't be that way you'll have fun and you know it, like you have every single other time. You can't tell me you regret any of it when your other option was wait around bored playing the same card game for the millionth time." Phoebe said.

"Doesn't mean I don't hate myself for it." I said.

"Ohhh, stop being like that. Just relax and enjoy the bodies of these beautiful girls with me." She replied.

"Am I in this time?" Emika asked.

"Emika, just hang out in the cafeteria for now, if we have time somebody will switch places with you ok? If they show up before that we'll see you tonight." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Emika replied.

"Otherwise we risk them walking in on us and they don't need to see or know what we get up too." Phoebe said.

"I understand, so basically the same thing I did for you on the beach?" Emika said.

"Eh, more or less, bet you regret not joining in when we asked huh?" Phoebe said.

"So are we doing this now?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah let's go to my room. You want Cj or me first?" Phoebe asked.

"Cj." Saphy said.

"Ok well, that means I get Tabby." Phoebe said.

"My body is yours my lady." Tabby said.

"Actually, I'm a, wait, never mind I don't have a title." Phoebe lied, nearly revealing her secret.

"Cj is a captain." Saphy said.

"That's a rank, not a title, and I was, I'm not in the U.S.C anymore, barely anybody that was when I was is even alive anymore, my ship's not even around anymore." I replied.

"You got a new one though." Phoebe said.

"Yeah well, someday we'll get back on it sometime." I said.

"You think we can use it as our mansion?" Phoebe asked.

"It could but the reactor will run out of fuel eventually and we'd have to figure out how to deal with that, we'd have to hook it up to their powerlines somehow and that will work for the onboard electronics but not propulsion. We'd also have to anchor it to the ground somehow and it'd have to be very level ground or we'll lose the pool. It'd be a good project for Kiera I guess." I said.

Eventually we made it back to the room.

"Ok well these things are always awkward to start." Phoebe said.

"That's because they're forced and not natural." I mischievously replied as Saphy came up and kissed me.

"Saphy?" I asked.

"Quit resisting, you know you like me. I've been wanting this since you both came into my room this morning." She replied before kissing me again.

"Yeah?" I replied as I started to make out with her. Pausing to look into her eyes for a moment, before deciding to just get on with it.

"Oh fuck, give me that amazing tongue baby." I said before pulling her in to another kiss.

"Here Tabby let's get your mask off, let me see your eyes." Phoebe said as I started to make out with her digimon.

-a lot of "exercise" later-

"You want me, I know it." Saphy said.

"He does, kinda." Phoebe said.

"Really?" Saphy replied.

"Mhm." Phoebe said.

"Pheebles be quiet." I replied.

"Will you let her in if Kitty and Zari agree?" Phoebe asked.

"Why would they?" I asked.

"Do you need a night alone with her to make a final decision?" Phoebe asked.

"We'll see ok? I don't know how Kitty will take this." I said.

"Ok." Saphy replied.

"And if she makes it nobody else until after the war Pheebles, I mean it." I said sternly.

"Ok." Phoebe replied.

"What about me?" Emika asked.

"You're really far down the list." Phoebe said.

"Awwwe." Emika said.

"Well what did you expect? We haven't even known you for a month." Phoebe said.

"Look both of you, once this war is over, you're going to have to go back to living somewhat normal lives. You're going to meet more people, so have some patience. We'll play around on occasion but we shouldn't go any further." I said.

"Guys they're here! Get dressed." Tabby said through the door as I laid in the bed with Phoebe on top of me and Emika and Saphy at my sides, with me quietly wishing they were Kitty and Zari. Tabby had switched places with Emika a while ago.

"OK that was enough sex for the day." I said.

"Yeah, oh well, this was fun while it lasted." Phoebe said.

"It was allright. " I tiredly admitted. "Just you and me tonight though."

"Yeah, well we'll see, I love you Cj I'm not going to push you too hard." Phoebe said, kissing me on the cheek before crawling off of me and the bed.

"Sometimes I wonder." I said.

"Well don't, I love you and this was just a fun way to kill time. Just like on the bus, except we have way better beds now." She said as she retrieved her dress from the floor.

"Yeah, it was fun." Saphy said as she got up before briefly reverting to her human form and back to redress herself instantly.

"mhm." Emika agreed.

"See everyone had a good time." Phoebe pointed out as she slipped her dress back on.

"Mhm, now you gotta forget about all that and get your head in the game." I said as I got up as well.

"I will, don't worry, you just don't get hurt." She said cutely as she gently put her hands on my cheeks.

"And neither of you are allowed to touch my husband again unless I say." She told the other girls.

"Understood." Emika replied.

"One more kiss?" Saphy asked.

"Nope, not even a hug. Neither of you are our viraras yet." Phoebe said.

"What are we going to do about your boobs?" I asked her as they were still very noticeable under her dress.

"Um, well, Saphy why don't you go out already since you're dressed, it will help alleviate suspicion, and then. Cj we'll go out together in a minute or so and I'll kind of just hide my boobs behind you. Or should we wait longer?" She asked.

"We can't wait too long they're out waiting for us in the cafeteria." I said as she started to realize how badly she messed up.

"Well ok, Emika you go out there when you're ready, Cj go a bit after Emika and just tell them I'm in the bathroom." Phoebe said.

"They probably won't know any better Pheebles." I said.

"But we shouldn't take the chance." She replied, adorably flustered.

"Allright I'll lie for you, I guess." I said.

"Thankyou." Phoebe replied.

-a few minutes later-

"Pheebles is in the bathroom, she's a bit sick from that pepper she ate yesterday." I lied as I entered the room to be confronted by the officer tasked with giving us our orders and the rest of our group.'

"Oh is she going to be ok?" IceLeomon asked.

"I think so, yeah, she just needs some time. She'll be out when she can." I said.

"Oh yeah I saw that, you know you're supposed to cut those up into tiny pieces and put them on a salad, not eat the whole thing on its own." The officer replied.

"Right, but she thought it was uh, a citrus fruit? Not a pepper, so what is going on today? Another convoy?" I asked as I took a seat by Emika.

"No, the Confrian military formally requests your assistance with a raid." The officer said as he placed another envelope of documents on the table. "There's a few identical booklets in here for you all to look at.

A raid on an enemy forward operating base several miles behind enemy lines, a sizable installation with a bunch of modular buildings quickly deployed in the middle of an agricultural field. Surrounded by razor wire and various defensive installations.

The idea was that it was an important enough of a target the hero officers were almost guaranteed to be deployed in response if they were still in the area. That and it would obviously help the Confrians make advances on the front line. The downside is it was also packed full of enemy soldiers and armored vehicles, so it was anything but an easy target.

Anyway, we spent a while going over the documents as a group, long enough that Phoebe eventually joined us when her boobs were back to normal.

"WHAT DID YOU TELL HIM?" She yelled at me in my head telepathically which made me shudder a bit though nobody seemed to notice as they were buried in whatever documents they were holding, except for the flower girls who couldn't read, but they were on the opposite side of the table having Tabby explain things to them and answering their questions. We needed to get around to teaching them sometime.

"I told them that you were feeling sick from the pepper you ate yesterday." I thought.

"I'm sitting on your lap now for that." She said. Even though I knew full well it was just because she liked the attention and would've done it regardless of what I told them.

"Go ahead, no harm in them knowing you're my wife, if they don't already know. I'm not afraid to show that I love you." I said as she sat on my lap.

"I gonna make you get a boner." She said mischievously.

"No you're going to behave, this is a serious mission." I replied.

"I probably should." She relented.

"Yes, here, baby girl, read some documents." I said as I handed her a booklet.

"Well this looks dangerous." She said out loud after reading for a few minutes in near silence except for Tabby who was explaining things to the flower girls.

"And yesterday wasn't?" I asked.

"Well there will be more enemies this time, not just the heroes." Phoebe said.

"You'll be provided with all the armor and equipment you'll need and 2 squads of volunteers." The officer said.

"How many are in a squad?" I asked.

"twenty, 2 apcs full." The officer replied, which made me realize they trusted us with these guys.

"Hover apcs or the wheeled kind?" I asked.

"Hover." He replied.

"What do they have though?" Phoebe said.

"That's on the expected forces page." I said, having glanced over the whole booklet by now. It was the typical assortment of Listanian armored vehicle we were used to by now, though in smaller number than the last attack we performed, we wouldn't have air support to deal with the majority of them this time.

"And we're not doing this until tomorrow?" Phoebe asked.

"Right you will be heading out tomorrow morning plenty of time to study this until then." The officer said.

"Ok, understood." Phoebe replied.

"He kind of sounds like a killjoy too." Phoebe said to telepathically.

"Seems fine to me, you really expect me to spend the rest of the day sleeping with you?" I asked.

"No, I'll take you sightseeing or something on the roofs, you had that foursome with me even when you really didn't want too, that's enough loving today." She said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, let's find something different to do together." She replied.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah." She repeated.

"It kind of just sounds like you're saying exactly what I would want you to say." I replied.

"Yeah, I kind of am, but I genuinely want to do the things you want too. I want us to be happy together. And with all we've done today, we're getting to the point where the sex is kind of boring again, so let's see if we can go out and explore a little bit while being safe." She said.

"If this is a joke it's one of the meanest things you've ever done." I said.

"It's not a joke I love you, you dummy!" She replied.

"Allright then." I replied.

For once nobody had any idea we were talking to each other the whole time because reading the documentation while completely quiet was normal and even if we got completely zoned out, reading it was easy to fake. Anyway the officer left a bit later once we accepted the mission and then we were free to do whatever for the rest of the day.

Tabby continued to translate things for the flower girls, Saphy went to study the documentation more thoroughly, IceLeomon, Natalia, and Emika went back outside and Phoebe and I went to do some sightseeing on the rooftops of the buildings. It was a small town and quite a few of the residents had evacuated, but there were still some things going on to see.

'Hello again everybody we are in the same universe as last time, this time we're in the Country of Listania in the small town of Colpeck, on a roof, just filming some things." Phoebe said as she casually filmed the people going about their lives on the streets below for documentation reasons.

"Look at all these cars driving around." I said.

"Yeah they're not doing a lot of beeping though." Phoebe said.

"That just means nothing is going wrong." I said.

"True." Phoebe said.

"You see any churches?" I asked.

"Why?" Phoebe asked.

"You want to learn about their supposedly absent god?" I suggested.

"Do you think they'll let us in if we can find one?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know. They might let us in they might burn us at the stake." I replied.

"Well from what I'm hearing these people are mostly thinking about their day to day life, not about stopping us. They're afraid either side will enter their town and destroy it. And they're grateful the front line kind of skipped around them." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I said.

"They are kind of all scared and jumpy though. I don't know, maybe they're best left alone." She continued.

"I guess with your powers, if they wanted to hurt us we'd see it coming." I said.

"Yeah, but all it takes is one big dummy to try to start something and then we could have a whole mob after us." Phoebe replied. "Anyway if you want to go find one let's go find one."

We scouted around for something resembling a religious building. They vary wildly in design from planet to planet, and culture to culture. The one we found in this town was very round and resembled three grain silos made of bricks all connected together. There was a bit of a parking lot around it as well as a playground for children. A sign outside had some sort of message I couldn't read because it was in native Listanian. This indicated right away that it hadn't been used in quite a while, atleast since the space police mandated their version of universal English as standard, which though similar, has a lot more words than what we're familiar with, though not as many as U.S.C standard. Most of these extra words are for foreign plants and animals or foods, or alternate names for familiar ones.

"I guess that's a church?" I asked.

"I guess so." Phoebe replied.

"Anybody home?" I asked.

"Stay here I'll go check." She replied before blipping around the building.

"Nobody is in there." Phoebe said when she returned.

"Ok, interesting, let's go inside." I replied.

"Ok." She replied.

I took her hand, she blipped us over to the door, she bypassed the key lock, and we entered, quietly closing the door behind us.

The discovery of extra universal beings usually had a devastating effect on religion, in this case it was the space police themselves. The irony being as far as we knew this world still had a god, he just wasn't paying attention and could presumably come back at any time. This church hadn't been abandoned for long as the building was still in good condition, and somebody was still paying the power bill, but the amount of dust inside seemed to indicate it had been a few years since it had any visitors.

Anyway the first "silo" we entered just kind of served as an entry area and office space, divided into three stories.

"Ok maybe this is actually just a weird office building." I said.

"Maybe." Phoebe replied.

There wasn't much to look at here aside from a few offices, a few desks, and a few computers. So we quickly moved on.

The next "Silo" was the biggest one and almost definitely confirmed this was some sort of religious establishment, being some sort of sanctuary, one floor with a high ceiling with elaborate woodwork, all the seating was arranged in a circle, a few rings of seats around a rotating center stage where presumably somebody would preach.

"Hey maybe this is like their bible I guess." I said as I pick up one of many small black books laying out on the seats.

"What's it say?" Phoebe asked.

"I can't tell, it's in their language." I said as I skimmed through it before setting it down where I found it.

"Oh well." Phoebe replied.

"What's upstairs?" I asked as I gestured towards some stairs that seemed to lead up to some sort of upper balcony encircling the chamber.

"I don't know, let's go see." Phoebe replied.

Upstairs there were several drums set up at regular intervals comparable to snare drums, a few different stringed instruments, two pianos, and some audio equipment I couldn't name.

"You wanna play the piano?" Phoebe asked.

"You think anyone will hear us?" I asked.

"The walls are thick, I think if we keep the volume down we'll be fine." Phoebe said.

"If they have power." I replied.

We didn't bother to turn the lights on as plenty was coming through the windows.

"So you really don't want any more viraras?" Phoebe said.

"Pheebles, no more viraras until this war is over and we have our mansion. Please. I know it sounds awesome at times, I even think it sometimes, but, we're moving too fast ok? Zari can stay because I have some feelings for her, Saphy maybe, but no more official stuff until we're settled ok? And Kitty doesn't like it, she won't say it because she wants to get along with you but you saw how she flipped at Zari." I said.

"Well she did flip at me on the phone earlier so." She replied.

"Yeah, you need to start thinking about them too, not just me, anyway here we go." I said as I found the power button on the piano and turned it on.

"It works!" I said as the screen lit up.

"You learn how to play anything while we were apart?" Phoebe asked.

"Nope." I replied.

"Too busy playing with Ronnie and then Kitty?" Phoebe asked.

"Pretty much yeah." I replied as I pressed a few keys and tried to get a song going.

"Does it have electric guitar mode?" I asked.

I couldn't read anything it said on the display. But I knew a scroll arrow when I saw it and that was enough to know how to change the sounds and cycle through them even though I couldn't read what they were.

"Hey maybe it does." I said as I cycled it through several pianish sounds pressing the arrow button and one of the keys to quickly sample them.

"Oh yeah here we go." I said when I found it before playing some generic metal riff which made Phoebe laugh.

"That's a song?" She asked.

"Yes. It's called my wife is crazaaaaaaaay, but I love her anywayayayay yeaaaaaaaaahh." I replied.

"Really?" She asked with a laugh.

"Yep." I said.

"Can I play?" She asked.

"Yep." I replied, she could play better than me anyway.

"Can I turn it back to piano?" She asked.

"Yeah I think if you just turn it off and on again it will put it back on piano for you." I said.

"Ok." Phoebe replied before doing so.

"Or you want to play on Tuba?" I asked, jokingly.

"You think it has it?" She asked.

"No idea. I can't read the things." I replied.

"Ok well, let's see if I can remember this." She replied.

Then she started to play a nice little song her mother had taught her as a child and I sat, and listened and marveled at her beauty before it was time to move on.

"You want me to keep going and give you a full concert?" She asked.

"If you want to, or we can just goof around and see what other settings it has?" I asked.

"We could." She replied.

Of course it could also sound like an organ, and various brass and string instruments including what sounded like a tuba, or whatever they called it here I could neither pronounce what the tiny display screen said it was nor type it out here. But we played around with it for a while because it was kind of funny partly because the lower notes sounded very close to something else. But that wasn't the silliest one.

There was one that made it sound like an angry cat, as well as what sounded like the barking of a dog and a meowing cat, and a collection of starwars-esque laser sound effects.

The third silo was split between some kind of altar and a small library containing other religious texts. Sadly they were all in a foreign language neither of us understood.

"So many books, not a single one we can read." I said.

"What about kid's books, at least maybe we can understand what's going on from the pictures." Phoebe said.

"Not a terrible idea, let's find one and see." I said.

"Here let's try these." Phoebe said.

"Allright." I replied.

So there we were, two adults actually trying to read children's literature in order to actually learn something because there was no chance we could understand any of it without the pictures.

And this is where children's literature came in handy, for explaining complex things in an easy to comprehend and skim through format. Obviously we weren't going to sit here and read the whole bible even if we could, but skimming through a few stories could give us a glimpse of this god's personality. Even if we couldn't read the words we still had cutesy illustrations to look at. As is the norm for people in this world, all the characters had green skin. Which when drawn as cartoons like those frequently featured in children's books had the odd, but amusing effect of making them look like cheerful zombies.

The first one seemed to be about a kid that went on a ship to somewhere with his parents only to some- how end up alone on a deserted island. The first night there the god of this religion told him that he would make him a great king. We couldn't read that part though so the illustrations alone led us to believe he just dreamed about being a king.

At some point on the island he fought and killed a crab that was as big as he was by luring it to a cliff and squashing it with a big rock he pushed off of the cliff. What we couldn't get from the pictures alone were that his family along with many others were trying to escape persecution for their beliefs in the god of this church, as opposed to the apparently false gods of the king of that nation, of which I guess the assortment of greek gods is a fair parallel, they had a god of love, of creation, of the harvest, of booze, of the hunt, of sex, etc. Anyway something went wrong with the boat and the god of this church apparently saved the boy who was somehow the only survivor.

"Do you think they really have crabs that big here or is it like a magical crab sent by god or something?" I asked.

"You think you could like put a saddle on it and ride it around?" She asked.

"I imagine it would try to throw you off or pinch you." I said.

"It could try." She said.

"I don't know Pheebles, I mean it's not a pokémon, but its sheer size would make it pretty strong.I mean if it got its claws around you you'd be done for." I said.

"Yeah but, it's not strong enough to eat some random kid." Phoebe said.

"True." I replied.

"Next page." She said playfully before turning the page.

The boy made a crude shelter and a knife from bits of the crab's exoskeleton and cooked and ate some of its meat. Quite a bit of time passed before what could best be described as a passing viking-like sailing ship complete with a dragon figurehead finally spotted him. While the ship saved him from the island the crew was questionable.

"They enslaved him." Phoebe said as the picture showed the boy fearfully scrubbing the floor of the ship as a fat and bald pirate for lack of a better term in tattered clothing not much better than the boy's towered over him with a mean look on his face.

"maybe he's just earning his keep, I mean he is getting a free ride and food presumably." I said.

"Why does the man behind him look so mean then?" Phoebe asked.

"No idea. Maybe he got caught lounging around?" I replied as I wondered how this Castaway - like story had anything to do with this world's god. The kid's adventure was far from over though. The next two pages basically confirmed that he was abducted by pirates, as they set their sights on another, larger ship and went to board it. The lack of cannons and gunfire confirming this story was set before this world invented those things either that or they just cut them out of the illustrations atleast because it was a kid's book. Anyway, the pirates apparently bit off more than they could chew, the book didn't show them getting slaughtered, but it did show a man in some kind of military uniform entering the cargo hold of the ship and discovering the boy along with some other captives. The next page showed The boy was taken onto the other ship. The one after that the pirate ship being set on fire.

"It doesn't look like they were very good pirates, or whatever they were." I said.

"Nope." She replied.

The boy was then taken to the port of some kind of ancient city. Where he was taken to the king along with some of the pirates who were apparently taken prisoner.

The king then made the boy a prince for some bizarre reason. We later found out this was because he believed the boy was his own son who was of similar age and appearance and disappeared in a completely unrelated shipwreck. This was conveyed in the text we couldn't read, but not in the illustrations by themselves, which showed the boy bowing before the king along with the pirates on one page and him being crowned a prince on the next. The pirates were presumably imprisoned.

"And he just becomes a prince just like that." I said with a laugh.

"We had to have missed something." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah, probably." I agreed.

The boy, who would otherwise be an orphan on the streets, did not object to this, however his secret was threatened when a survivor from the shipwreck the prince was on came to the city.

"Ok now who is this guy?" I asked since we couldn't read the text and it looked like the story just threw another character at us for some reason.

"Did the prince grow up?" Phoebe asked.

"No look his hair color is completely different." I said.

"Maybe he dyed it?" Phoebe asked.

"Not back then. And why would they put a completely irrelevant detail like that in this? It just makes it harder to follow." I said.

The man was shocked to see the boy sitting on the prince's throne alongside his father as he claimed he had seen the boy drown. Once again, since we couldn't read the text, the pictures just made it look like he pointed at the boy and shouted something. We couldn't tell what he said, but the king was not happy about it as the next picture showed him standing up and pointing his scepter back at the man and shouting something back at him.

"Welp, he's dead." I said.

"Probably." Phoebe agreed.

The next picture showed the man in a prison cell, with the pirates imprisoned earlier making a cameo in the background.

"Yep now he's in jail. What do you think he said?" I asked.

"Your hat is very ugly!" Phoebe said with a playful laugh.

"He goes all the way up to the king, to say that?" I asked with a laugh.

"Yes." Phoebe replied.

"And then the king is like, How dare you say my hat is ugly! Guards! Arrest him!" I replied.

"No the king is like "Well your whole face is so ugly I'm going to have you arrested for being so ugly!"" Phoebe said, trying to sound like a grumpy old man.

"And the kid is like, um daddy, I thought it was a crown." I replied in my best child voice.

"Yes, but he's a dummy so he doesn't know any better." Phoebe said as we laughed together.

After the page where the strange man was imprisoned, a bunch of pictures showed the boy in a variety of situations, dining at a table with his father, playing in the courtyard with some other children, and standing in front of a mirror with some new clothes with some maids around him and mock fighting with a swordsman. After that, there was a picture of the king talking to some other people that haven't been shown before, then a picture of them letting the strange man from before out of jail, which was extremely confusing without the text.

What really happened was that everyone the boy interacted with noticed the drastic changes in his personality and how he had fallen behind in his lessons. The king then realized that what the man said was true, but since that would leave him with no heir, as the queen had died of illness years ago, he decided to raise the boy as his own anyway. The general public never knew any better. Even though her death was only stated in the text, we both kind of figured something happened to the queen because she was never pictured.

The time skipped and the prince was now a man that we could identify easily because he kept his crown. At that point he had excelled so well in his training and had grown close enough to his father that nobody would've ever thought to question it. Time passed and eventually he became king. At that point the same country responsible for causing his parents to flee, leading to their deaths all those years ago, now set their sights on invading his own. They began by brutally attacking coastal villages.

We couldn't read this at the time, but once again in a dream, god told the boy that these attacks could not be tolerated, and the enemy must be destroyed along with their king, the evil King Jackoble who was wicked in the eyes of this god, for the persecution and general torment inflicted upon his followers. Though the illustrations just showed the man dreaming about sword fighting some random guy.

So for the first time in his life the orphan king was off to battle. Of course this being a children's book, there weren't any graphic images of the war, but there was one of fleets of ships approaching each other and another of men fighting with swords. Enough to figure out there was a war by context. And finally one of two large armies facing each other on land, one led by the protagonist king, and another, the enemy, which seemed to be a lot larger. And it was, the enemy's army was almost three times larger, but with the use of Phalanx-like tactics, the king's army prevailed 2 pages later. One showed the soldiers in a phalanx position as the enemy approached. Another showed the king heroically fighting the enemy somehow without any blood or gore, and the final picture of the war showed the king and his army standing in triumphant victory, again, without a single bloodstain or corpse to be seen, after a large scale battle primarily fought with spears and swords where people most definitely died.

"They're either ridiculously good at fighting without getting bloody or they have a dozen carts full of bleach somewhere. No way they're that clean after all that." I said.

"Hehehe yeah, there should be blood everywhere." Phoebe agreed with a laugh.

"Blood, bodyparts, corpses, you know? Signs there was actually a battle here and not an army just standing around in a field the whole time. They got one hell of a cleanup crew! Look how green the grass is not a single drop of blood to be seen." I said jokingly. "I was in a battle like that, the ground and everyone there should be absolutely disgusting."

"That was the night you slept with Ronnie for the first time wasn't it?" She asked.

"Yep, I was a lot cleaner by then though, out of the armor and in what they considered normal clothes, nice and as fresh as they could get with that level of technology. In the enemy castle that was briefly mine, there was a well you could pump relatively clean water from to bathe in as well, so yeah by then I was as clean as I could get." I said.

"See you are a king." Phoebe said teasingly.

"I was king of a single castle town, for a few months, nearly a century ago." I replied.

"Yeah, well, you're still a king." Phoebe said.

"If you say so." I replied.

"Or maybe you're not yet, but you will be because we traveled back in time." She said.

"We can't get back there though." I said. "Even though it'd be nice to see Ronnie again."

"Yeah but what about the past you? He'd get jealous." She said.

"He'd be excited to see you." I said.

"True." Phoebe replied.

"Do a little wife swapping with myself." I said, jokingly.

"Really now?" She asked with a laugh.

"What you wouldn't go for it?" I asked. "Just so I could have one more night with Aranea while she was still so young and beautiful? It's still me I don't care, whatever you do to him I'll just remember you doing to me right? "

"I guess so, but, it's probably best we don't go back or things could get weird." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, not that we can anyway." I agreed.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Still haven't learned anything at all about this god yet have we?" I asked.

"No, not really." She replied.

"What's on the next page?" I asked.

"Let's see." She replied before turning it.

The next page had a picture of the king and his army surrounding some kind of city, a huge and well protected city for the suggested tech level of the time period surrounded by big stone walls. This was the enemy nation's capital, but we didn't know that at the time, because we couldn't read the text.

"Is this guy their god?" I asked.

"I doubt it. Maybe he's like an important historical figure or something?" Phoebe asked.

"You know for a book we found in a church it doesn't seem to have many religious themes. Where's all the angels and stuff?" I said.

"In the text we can't read, unless they put god directly in the story. I'm sure it's there we just can't read it." Phoebe replied.

"Possibly, either that or you just picked a history book out of a church library." I said, teasingly.

The following illustrations showed the good army struggling to get passed the walls of the city as numerous archers attacked them from on top. After that the king had another dream, of a crack in the wall, atleast according to the picture. Of course, the text we couldn't read at that time said god told him to hit the wall in a specific location, the next day he did so, with all the force his army could muster, causing that section of the wall to crumble and collapse and granting him entry to the city. One page had a picture of them attacking the wall, and another showing his soldiers storming through the breach after it collapsed.

Finally a picture where the two kings fought each other, the evil one sporting really bright red hair, that vaguely reminded me of Kitty's. The next picture showed the evil king lying on the ground apparently defeated but just looking like he fell asleep no worse for wear from the fight. No wounds to be seen. The unreadable text stated that the protagonist killed him.

The final image showed the hero of the story standing proudly, his impeccably clean armor shining brightly. That wasn't the end of his story, but it was the end of the book.

"You want to try another one or?" I asked.

"No, we didn't really learn much from that one did we?" She asked.

"Not really." I replied.

"We might have to wait until after the war when we have time to interact with people and learn the language." Phoebe said.

"It doesn't take you that long to do that does it?" I asked.

"It wouldn't if people still spoke it as their primary, but they all speak and think in our language now. We need to find somebody that only knows and thinks in it. Then I can learn from them pretty quickly, but you and everyone else is stuck learning the slow way." Phoebe said.

The space police tried to teach everyone their version of English earlier on in their invasion of the planet long before we got here, using Skyla's powers, which temporarily boosted the memories and cognitive ability of anyone watching and led to most of the Listanian and Confrian populations quickly becoming bilingual after just a couple years, though a few without access to media only knew their respective native languages, which was still present in a lot of older media, including books, magazines, and older tv shows, basically anything made before the takeover.

"You think we'll be here long enough for that?" I asked.

"Yeah, almost certainly, we could be here for centuries." She replied.

"You're not going to get bored with me after all that time?" I asked.

"No, never." She replied before returning the book to its shelf. "But it does give you plenty of time to kindle relationships with all our future viraras."

"There you go with that again." I said.

"Well think about it, given enough time they'll all tug on your heart strings eventually, unless you just want to hang out with me and Kitty all day every day for who knows how long. I know you were starting to fall for Venusmon, and now Saphy, but you won't admit it." Phoebe said.

"I felt sorry for Venusmon. Saphy is a good girl, she gives good blow jobs and fucking her in the shower or whenever her skin is actually warm is amazing but, all I know about her aside from that is she'd spend all day in the water if she could." I said, completely comfortable with talking to her like that.

"Yeah well, we should get closer to her, I want her too." Phoebe said.

"Any ideas what else you want to do all day besides going back to the hotel and messing around?" I asked.

"Not really. That sounds fun enough." She replied.

"What about some documentation?" I asked, as I came to the realization that she hadn't recorded anything in a while.

"Oh, ok, we could do that for a bit maybe." She said before pulling her camera out of her purse.

"You want me to show them around the church?" She asked.

"Pretty much yeah, go on." I said.

"Ok." Phoebe replied.

"And get the outside too, it's a really weird shaped building." I said.

"I will." She replied.

I followed her around as she recorded and narrated everything we had seen. More stuff to feed to Devon co to prove how long we were gone and what we did during our adventure. Then she teleported outside to get some aerial shots of the exterior of the building before coming back in.

"Ok that should about cover this place." She said when she came back.

"Allright, where too now?" I asked.

"Well um, hmmm." She thought for a moment.

"I don't really know, you want to go out with Saphy tonight?" She asked.

"Not really when my wife is right here." I said.

"I know I'm here, but, you wanna maybe see if you can get closer to her since when we get back we might make her our second virara?" Phoebe asked.

"To where? Everywhere we go people will stare at us all night and in the very best case they'll hound us with questions, worst case they'll chase us out. And shouldn't it be you that goes out with her? She's your digimon, and this is probably a good reason why she wants me to be her tamer instead. And finally, for the last time, no more new viraras until the war is over." I replied.

"Yeah well, a good reason for you to go out with her is I already decided I want her as our virara. You're still on the fence." Phoebe replied with a smile. "Anyway you wanna make a bet?"

"What? That we won't get chased out of wherever we go?" I replied.

"No, take Saphy out tonight and spend the night with her, if you're still worried about making her our virara after that then we'll stop, but if you're not anymore, then you have to support me when we take this up with Kitty and Zari and stop saying I'm crazy for wanting so many viraras." Phoebe said.

"Ok, but how many times do I have to tell you, we're not taking in anymore until after the war atleast and where am I going to take her exactly?" I asked.

"Let me deal with that." She replied. "Let's go back to the hotel and then you can ask her out."

"Really, like we're a bunch of high schoolers?" I asked.

"Yeah, it adds to the tension and I can already see you getting nervous. Which is ridiculous because we both know she won't say no." She said.

-Several minutes later after returning to the hotel and finding Saphy.

Phoebe made me approach her alone as she spoke with Tabby in the cafeteria.

"Excuse me um, Saphy, you wanna go out tonight, alone, with me?" I asked.

"No." She replied.

"You're supposed to say yes." Phoebe said from her current hiding spot behind the entryway.

"I'll go out with you." Tabby said.

"I was supposed to ask Saphy." I replied.

"You can go out with him some other night, maybe tomorrow." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Tabby replied.

"You put him up to this?" Saphy asked.

"Duh. I thought you would've been aware of that." Phoebe replied.

"Then why were you hiding?" I asked.

"To make you feel more nervous, to make it more genuine." She said, teasingly.

"Well I didn't know, ok so, yes, Cj I would love to go out with you." Saphy said. "But, where are we going to go?"

"Let me handle that." Phoebe replied.

"Anyway you both have a date tonight now so why don't you go get ready? I have to go find and pick up some things. Saphy your dress and shoes from that one night at Bachusmon's are still in my digivice. And Cj you still have your tux don't you? Anyway my purse is in our room and um everybody please leave the cafeteria as soon as you can." She said before teleporting off to who knows where.

"We have several hours to get ready no need to rush." I said.

"So what's this all about?" Saphy asked after she left.

"She thinks we'll get closer if I go out with you. " I explained.

"Well I hope so. You want to right?" Saphy replied.

"Well it's Pheebles, so as crazy as she is we're in for a good time atleast, I think. Anyway, not much better to do today than play one of her games." I said.

"We could go back to the room and play around some more." Tabby suggested.

"No, even that will get boring after a while." I said.

"Is she still on about the virara thing?" She asked.

"Yep she's obsessed with it even though she keeps saying things will remain basically the same." I replied.

"Maybe she just wants to make things more official, then we can all be more of a family and not just a team." Saphy said.

"I don't know what she wants, I'm scared to think about it sometimes, but we should be in for a good time atleast, better than sitting around." I said.

"Yeah." Saphy agreed.

"But it's just for you two?" Tabby asked.

"Well, she'll probably spend the night with you and Emika so, don't worry about it too much." I said.

"Anyway where's everyone else?" I asked.

"Natalia is out exploring with Emika and Iceleomon." Saphy said.

"Brave of them." I said.

"And the flower girls are probably messing around in their room, as usual." Saphy said.

"Do they ever come out and take a break or what?" I asked.

"They left as soon as I finished guiding them through the documentation and I haven't seen them since." Tabby said.

"You know? They might be hornier than Pheebles." I said.

"They might be." Saphy replied.

"I try to hold her back a bit but if it was up to her we'd probably be in our room all day too with or without you two. I used to be that way with Kitty too, when we were bored out of our minds on the ship, but we're not trapped in a space ship, there's a world out there we can explore." I said.

"It's a tiny town though, there can't be that much to see." Saphy said.

"True." I replied.

"It kind of has me worried about what exactly IceLeomon is doing out there." Saphy said.

"Yeah same, but without his wives here he doesn't have much else to do." I said.

"You think he ran off with Emika and Natalia? And they're just playing around somewhere out of the way?" Saphy asked.

"Natalia maybe, Emika no, I don't think he'd cheat on his wives though, they're not as relaxed as Phoebe and Kitty are." I said.

"Then what is he doing out there?" Saphy asked.

"No idea." I replied.

-Meanwhile-

IceLeomon, in human form, somehow found his way into a local gym, of the normal sort for humanoids, not the pokémon kind, and was socializing with the locals who were impressed with his physique and asking him questions about his routine. None of them knowing he was a digimon and that he didn't actually have to do anything to achieve it, it was just the way his human form was as a reflection of his ultimate form, and would be every time he changed to it, unless of course, you consider all the work he did to make it to his ultimate level prior to our whole adventure in the digital world. Despite him not knowing how to answer these questions, and the obvious fact they both were working for the Confrians, his character fit in well with the crowd and the civilians warmed up to him with several trying to see if they could lift more than him. Natalia tagged along with nothing better to do and kept quiet, but friendly.

Emika wandered out of town and was leisurely flying around the open countryside where it was unlikely anyone would spot her. Not the smartest move because she was pretty far from the rest of us, thankfully nothing came of it, but had we have known she'd wander that far off we would have asked her not too.

Anyway Phoebe came back to the cafeteria with a few bags full of things she may or may not have stolen from around town.

"Watchya got there baby? Did you just steal a bunch of stuff?" I asked.

"No, I did some shopping, I told Amy we needed supplies and she gave me a card number I could use to buy a few things for your date." She said.

I hoped she wasn't lying.

"Oh how is she doing? Haven't called her in a while." I said.

"She's allright, she hasn't seen Raylena in a while either but Edge talks to her sometimes, and our bus is still at her base and is doing ok too. And why are you three still in here? I told you to go somewhere else! " She replied.

"Grumpy." I teased.

"Well it's supposed to be a surprise." Phoebe said.

"Are you going to put on another silly costume?" I asked out of curiosity remembering that night at bachusmon's.

"No. You want me too?" She asked.

"Do whatever you have on your mind baby, I'm really curious about where you're going with this." I said.

"Well you're going to have to wait until it's ready." She said. "Now get out! All of you."

"I don't know why, but I love it when she gets all cute and pushy like that, it's adorable." I said to the other girls teasingly.

"It kind of is." Tabby agreed with a smirk.

"This won't work if you don't leave." She said.

"What won't work?" I asked teasingly.

"It's a secret." She playfully replied.

"Ok, we'll leave, come on, let's make sure IceLeomon isn't causing trouble I guess." I said as I got up from the table.

"Love you baby girl." I said half teasingly and half affectionately before leaving.

A little while later after leaving the hotel and ending up on main street.

"Well crap where'd he go?" I asked.

"Don't look at me." Saphy replied.

"Now I really wish Kitty was here, she could find him easily." I said.

"I can search for him from the air." Tabby suggested.

"If that's what you wanna do." I said.

"It could help." Tabby replied.

"Well go for it then." I said.

"Ok." She said as she took to the skies, leaving me alone with Saphy.

"So what do you think Phoebe is going to do?" Saphy asked.

"Probably make the cafeteria into the fanciest restaurant she possibly can, either that or she's planning another strange game." I replied.

"I see." Saphy said.

"I love her." I said with a sigh.

"She's definitely something else." Saphy said.

"Yeah, but she loves me, even if she shows it in some of the most bizzare ways ever." I replied.

"So um, anything you like besides swimming?" I asked.

"What's wrong with swimming?" She asked in return.

"Nothing at all I just, is that you're only hobby?" I asked.

"Music can be pretty cool." She replied.

"Yeah, doubt we like the same kind though." I said.

"Every kind has its charm." She replied.

"Some charms are more appealing than others." I said.

"Maybe. You should have seen what they were able to do though, that deep underwater." She replied.

"I can't say it doesn't sound interesting." I replied.

We took our time making our way down the street, doing some window shopping in what few small shops there were.

A little while later we saw somebody fly in, over the roofs of the buildings, to the front of one further down the street. They weren't using a broom staff so it definitely wasn't Emika.

"Did you see that? It wasn't Emika." Tabby asked from the sky.

"Yeah." Saphy replied.

''Yeah. Let's check it out." I agreed as I prepared to get weapons out of my digivice.

We cautiously continued down the street, believing we were in the presence of one of the serenidites which turned out to be true. One of IceLeomon's supposed new friends ratted him out and one was sent to go capture him. Natalia went invisible as soon as he arrived and snuck out of the building. Ironically it was the same one he tore to pieces the day before, but now that he was in his human form and not wearing any armor the enemy failed to recognize him, other than he was obviously an alien, and was not in the space police which meant all odds were he was one of us. They started fighting before we got there as we approached with a great deal of caution as some people fled from the building, but a few others stood around to watch. Anyway Natalia spotted us and made herself visible before joining our group.

"Oh hey." I said when I noticed her.

"They found us somehow, I knew it was a bad idea for us to go in there." She said.

"Well we knew it was a bad idea for you all to wander around town so." I replied." Keep your eyes open for the other enemy heros, they're probably looking for all of us, not just him."

"What about IceLeomon?" She asked.

"Tabby get back to the hotel and get all the bubble guns we got, tell Pheebles and the flower girls to come too." I said.

"Yes ok." She said before taking off.

"You two make sure Iceleomon doesn't need assistance." I said.

"What about Emika?" Saphy asked.

"She's not with you?" I asked, thinking all three of them were together.

"She went off on her own." Natalia said.

"Well then, we'll just have to hope they haven't found her. Otherwise she's on her own." I replied as we had no way of finding her very quickly.

"What are you even doing here?" Iceleomon asked.

"I could ask the same questions, but one of these guys reported you. You're under arrest for interdimensional trespassing and impersonating an officer of the space police. " The enemy serenidite said as they exchanged blows inside the gym.

"But I wasn't."

"Your guilt has already been determined." The enemy cut him off as he pulled out a bubble gun. Iceleomon smacked it away from him and the fight continued.

"Where's the others?" He asked. " You're part of that group with the convoy yesterday right? I didn't see you there but come on, there's no chance you came out here on your own."

"I'll never tell you that." IceLeomon said as they were in a deadlock before Natalia and I charged at the guy with swords, forcing him to break his hold and separate from IceLeomon or risk being sliced to pieces. I couldn't beat him on pure strength as he was superhuman but the sword evened things out a bit, it was strong enough he couldn't just break it. Even as a champion grade weapon, and it was also sharp enough that it posed a serious risk to his armor. Though he was able to knock us back quite a bit, eventually sending both me and Natalia crashing into the wall. Then Saphy came in and started to surround him with water. It her a while to generate enough to surround and drown him. Just creating a bubble of it around his head would be too easy for him to escape. He turned to fire at her, but at that point Iceleomon was back up.

"You ok?" I asked, while in a little bit of pain.

"Been better. Not as bad as fighting your girl though. You?" Natalia replied.

"Phoebe will freak out but I'm fine." I said.

"Hey, Saphy, don't kill him." I said to Saphy as at that point she had the guy completely immersed in this gravity defying column of water and he started to show signs of drowning. It's a lot harder to escape when there's nothing solid to grab on to.

"And you guys standing around stop recording this shit, get out of here." I said.

The guy tried to yell something but the water made him inaudible as Natalia and I both got back up.

"Saphy?" I asked as she seemed hyper focused and bent on murder.

"Remember the train." She said.

"Yeah I know the train, but this guy wasn't even there, quit it, you're going to kill him. Come on, snap out of it, you're better than this." I said as I shook her by the shoulders.

"Huh?" She said as all the water she generated collapsed to the floor along with the guy, who was gasping for air as IceLeomon pinned him to the ground.

"Sorry." She said.

"That's ok, now where the hell is Tabby?" I asked.

"You're all under arrest." The guy said as soon as he regained enough breath to do so.

"Really now?" Iceleomon.

"What train?" Natalia asked as she located his bubble gun on the floor and shot him several times while he was still too weak to get back up, thoroughly sticking him to the ground.

"We'll talk later." I replied.

"Let him go, you're under arrest, all of you." Their leader chick said as she arrived outside the building with the other two, all of them brandishing bubble guns.

"Yeah well by my authority as a captain of the united space command you're all under arrest." I said.

"Wasn't that forty years ago?" Saphy asked.

"SHHHH, and no it's like ten years in the future from now or so." I replied.

"What?" Saphy asked shortly before they bubbled us all aside from Natalia who went invisible

"God dammit, I'm getting tired of this." I said.

"United space command? We do not acknowledge the authority of such an organization." Their leader said.

"Watch out for the ghost. That blue chick from yesterday is here too." The guy on the floor said.

"I see that we just got her, so the others probably aren't too far away." Their leader replied. "Shadow princess, show yourself. Surrender now, don't make this any harder than it has to be, traitor."

"I'm never going back. You need to know the truth." Natalia replied, from somewhere, shortly before their leader got bubbled by Phoebe, the other two turned to see where that came from as she struggled to free herself, but at that point Phoebe already teleported to their other side and bubbled another.

"They're all here, there could be even more of them everyone retreat! We can't risk getting captured! " Their leader said before unsticking herself from the ground and throwing one of her swords at Phoebe who deflected it with her powers, buying the leader enough time to help get the other one unstuck while the only one who hadn't been hit yet freed the one in the building. The four of them left almost as quickly as they arrived, still partially covered with bubble gun stuff. Tabby and the flower girls tried to chase them but were a bit further down the street, out of bubblegun range and the serenidites could fly faster than them.

"Cj if you get bubbled again I'm drawing on your face." Phoebe said before un-bubbling me after knocking out all the bystanders so we could be sure they didn't have any videos of the incident on them.

"Atleast I didn't get hurt this time." I said.

"Oh you got hurt too, don't think you can hide that from me." She replied.

"Barely, it's not even worth healing." I said.

"But still." She said.

"You're unreasonable you know that?" I said as she went around collecting phones and deleting videos before returning them. Using her mind reading abilities to bypass any passcode system they might have had. It would not be good for any of that to go viral.

"Besides if I get hurt too bad I get a nice massage from Tabby." I said teasingly.

"Awe look at you trying to make me jealous." She said.

"I'm your first wife and I love you more than anything in the world." She said.

"But you're trying to set up a date for me and Saphy." I pointed out.

"Yeah, but we have eternity don't worry about it. Every date you have with anyone else you have thousands with me." She replied.

"How is that date going by the way?" I asked.

"It's fine, it's just going to take a little longer now since they interrupted, don't worry." She replied.

"Maybe we should enjoy whatever you're planning together instead?" I asked.

"No we both need to spend some time with Saphy." Phoebe replied. "And this is just something nice I can do for both of you."

"Is Kitty ok with it?" I asked.

"Why didn't you make me ask her before? Give me your phone when we get back to the hotel, I'll call her." Phoebe relented.

"Because I'm just teasing you with it now, but, you know you probably should." I said as I handed her my phone, not wanting to do either of them wrong.

"Yeah." She agreed.

"And tell her about earlier too, since that was your idea as well." I said.

"Oh come on really?" She asked.

"Yes, be honest with her, please, I love you both so fucking much." I said.

"Ok, I'll tell her everything." Phoebe said.

"So it's back to the hotel then?" IceLeomon asked.

"Yeah and stay there this time, they know we're here they might come back in force." I said. "And where is Emika?"

"I don't know, she went off on her own." Iceleomon replied.

A little while later Phoebe and I were back in our hotel room where she eventually got a hold of Kitty.

"Hey Kitty, Cj just wants me to tell you we had some fun with Saphy, Tabby, and Emika earlier out of boredom since we don't have much going on today." Phoebe said.

"Well if you're really that bored over there that's fine, it's just like it was on the bus right?" Kitty asked.

"Right. I knew you'd understand, anyway um, he's going to take Saphy out on a date tonight?" Phoebe replied.

"Why?" Kitty asked.

"SO they can get closer and when we get back we can have a serious talk about making her our next virara." Phoebe said.

"Nope." Kitty said.

"Oh come on." Phoebe said.

"No more viraras. Do I need to start yelling again?" Kitty replied.

"No." Phoebe replied.

"I let you marry him, you can let Saphy be our virara." Phoebe said.

"No." Kitty said.

"We're talking about this when we get back. All five of us." Phoebe said.

"Just you, her and Zari I'm taking CJ out when you get back he'll be all mine for the evening."

"Oh really?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, I got it all planned out." Kitty said.

" Awwwe that's cute, is Zari helping you?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, but we have a plan." Kitty said.

"Well that's fine, since he'll be yours all night too, we'll just wait until the next day." Phoebe said.

"It's still going to be a no." Kitty said.

"Yeah well I used to say that too about letting you marry him." Phoebe replied.

"Is Cj there?" Kitty asked after a few seconds of silence.

"Yeah he's making sure I actually have this conversation with you." Phoebe replied.

"Well why don't you go on a date with him then?" Kitty asked.

"Because we have a lot of time alone together." Phoebe said.

"Well give him the phone and leave the room I wanna talk to our husband alone." Kitty said.

"Ugh, okaaay fine." Phoebe reluctantly replied before complying with her wish.

"How's my pretty little Kitty Kat today baby?" I asked as Phoebe left the room looking a bit miffed.

"I'm good, watcha doing with Saphy?" She asked.

"I don't know what she has in mind." I replied.

"Well you can do what you want with her for now but we're not making her our virara that's final." She said.

"Ok baby, fuck I wish you were here so I could kiss you." I said.

"I wish you were here." She replied. "We are going to have so much fun when you come back this time."

"I look forward to having you in my arms again baby." I said.

"Ohhhhhh, I love you so much." She replied.

"Talk to you again tomorrow, or maybe tonight I don't know, you know you can just call whenever it's fine, but if something is going on I won't answer ok, but I'll get back to you when I can. " I said.

"Ok." She replied.

"mmmmah love you Kitty baby, goodbye." I said.

"mmmahhh, goodbye. Stay away from shadow whore." She replied.

"You don't have to be so harsh, she's allright." I replied with a laugh.

"Well, just stay away from her and everything will be allright. Love you." She said a bit later.

"Love you too baby, bye for now." I replied before hanging up.

With that I left the room to go find Phoebe to try to cheer her up a bit.

"Pheebles." I called for her as I entered the cafeteria a minute or so later.

"Cj, don't come in here." She replied.

"Oh come on, you know I love you too, and now it's not safe to leave the hotel so where else am I supposed to go?" I said.

"IceLeomon is on the roof, Emika hasn't come back yet and Saphy is hanging out with Tabby and Natalia in her room."

"And you and I are in here together." I said.

"Yeah, but you shouldn't be you'll ruin the surprise." She said.

"Well maybe I want to surprise you." I replied as I went up to her and pulled her close. "Love you baby."

I kissed her on the head as she looked up at me.

" I love you too." She said before wrapping herself around me as well.

"I could go for a round now if you want." I said.

"Not out here, anyone can see." She said. "But in the kitchen though maybe."

"You'll let me in this time?" I asked.

"That's a tough choice." She said.

"Really?" I asked.

"You sure you don't want to wait until tonight?" She asked, teasingly.

"When I want you I want you baby." I said.

"Ok, let's go." She said as she pulled me towards the kitchen.

"That's my baby." I replied.

So we had a quickie in the kitchen and just happened to be walking out about the time Emika finally returned.

"And what are you two doing?" Emika asked as Phoebe ducked back into the kitchen to try to hide what we had been up too as her boobs were not back to normal yet.

"Forget about that where the hell have you been?" I asked.

"Just flying around. What's wrong with that?" She asked.

"Those assholes we fought yesterday figured out IceLeomon was hanging out at the gym, they showed up, we had a short fight then they retreated again. " I said.

"Is everyone ok?" Emika asked.

"Yeah, but just stay here for now and in the future don't stray too far from wherever we're staying, it could have just as easily been you. I don't think they'll come back since they know we're all here, and they don't seem to want to fight all of us at once, but who knows, they might try to sneak some hover apcs or tanks over the front line. They still don't know for sure if we're staying in this hotel, just that we're in town, it's too dangerous to be out there anymore." I said.

"Understood." She replied. "So where's everyone else?"

"Iceleomon is training on the roof I guess, the flower girls are doing whatever they usually do and probably don't want to be disturbed, and everyone else is in Saphy's room." I said.

"Are they messing around?" She asked.

"No idea." I replied.

"Ooooh, tell me if they are, also tell Saphy she needs to be ready in two hours for her date, with her dress on and nails done. Polish is in my purse in my room, and if she can't I'll help her." Phoebe said from the kitchen.

"Ok, will do." Emika replied.

"If they are messing around in there can you keep Cj busy for a while? He's not allowed to play with Natalia, we can't convince Kitty to trust her." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, I guess." Emika replied.

"Really Pheebles?" I asked.

"I didn't say you had to have sex, just hang out with her as a friend if you want instead, but you can't stay in here and you really really can't go for a walk down the street on your own. If they come back you're going to get captured." Phoebe said.

"True." I agreed. "Ok I guess we'll go see what they're doing then." I said.

"Ok. I'll come get you in a while." Phoebe replied.

Turns out they were just hanging around and watching some old Confrian cartoon on the tv.

I took a spot on the empty bed next to theirs as I wasn't quite comfortable with snuggling with them despite everything we had done. Saphy left to go to the room Phoebe and I shared not long after to get ready. Leaving me alone with Tabby, Emika, and Natalia.

The cartoon they were watching featured a red guy that resembled a caricature of the devil with black hair, a mustache and goatee, and a vaguely triangular body antagonizing a village of light green people that kind of had rounded off square shaped bodies with fat and stubby limbs. It had dialogue, but it was all in traditional Confrian that nobody in our group understood, same for all credits and the title screen. That said, it being an old style cartoon, it was not very dialogue heavy so it was still pretty entertaining to watch.

The red guy was obviously the bad guy and was usually comically defeated by "the blue guy" who seemed to be some sort of angel with a perfectly square body, unlike the normal humans who had rounded corners, an outfit consisting of gold colored clothes, and blue wings. Like many heros, he also had the ability to fly and probably super strength as well as possibly complete invulnerability. He usually appeared towards the end of an episode and defeated the red guy with little, or any, resistance.

The premise was simple, every episode revolves around the red guy doing something that leads to him causing a lot of grief to the town. While he isn't pure evil and doesn't go around killing everyone like the actual devil might do, he borders on psychopathic and does not care about anybody but himself. On the other hand, blue guy is usually seen doing things normal law abiding people would do, shortly before encountering red guy and is only ever seen doing superhuman things when dealing with red guy.

In one episode the red guy went around town and stole a bunch of things, starting out with a donut he couldn't afford, beginning a montage of sorts of him stealing progressively more valuable things in cartoonishly elaborate ways, eventually working his way up to fine jewelry, but he ends up trying to steal from the blue guy who then grabs him and drops him into one of those classic cartoon jails.

In another episode, the red guy was digging in his garden and innocently enough finds a coin. This leads to him getting obsessed with looking for buried treasure and he starts digging holes all over town, starting with his own yard but then eventually spreading to other people's yards and the middle of the street, which somehow escalated to him acquiring an excavator and causing even more destruction and comically finding a lot of treasure in the classical form of gold and jewels, and he continues to dig and amass it until eventually he destroys a chunk of blue guy's house, ripping the wall away and revealing the angelic character to be reading a newspaper while watching tv. The blue guy looks over and notices the damage to his house, then he sets down his paper, and without changing the bored expression on his face, casually walks over to red guy, then punches him, knocking him out of the excavator into one of the many holes he had dug where the blue guy, still looking bored as hell, then buries him alive under all the treasure he found by cartoonishly lifting up the whole pile of it at once and tossing it all into the hole. The episode ends with blue guy picking his paper back up and once again taking a seat in front of his tv.

In yet another episode where they happened to be driving cars that basically centered around the red guy being a jerk ass driver and causing several minor accidents, property damage, and yes, even committing parking violations around the city, ruining the days of quite a few of the citizens. Eventually he comes up behind a car being driven by the blue guy. Then a narrow bridge is shown to be up ahead which would force the red guy to have to stay behind the blue guy who is driving along a lot more leisurely like a normal person. The red guy doesn't like this and tried to beat the blue guy to the bridge so he wouldn't get stuck behind him, but blue guy is already so far ahead, he gets there first while just driving along normally, right as the red guy is trying to pass. He goes so far as to try to shove blue guy's car out of the way, but this completely and illogically fails as blue guy's car seems to be made out of rubber, and not only is it not damaged or phased by red guy trying to ram it, it bounces red guy and his car off the bridge, crashing explosively off-screen before continuing on its way, with blue guy not even noticing.

Of course, as is cartoon logic, no matter what happens to the red guy, he is always back in perfect health by the next episode.

And that was the show, red guy gets obsessed with something that leads him to destroy things until he inevitably angers or in some cases merely crosses paths with the blue guy, who then shuts him down.

And that was all the episodes I got to see before Phoebe came in to tell me to get ready, then she went to get Saphy out of our room so I wouldn't see her, even though I already knew what dress she was wearing as she only had the one. But maybe she was in her human form now? Which made me wonder if her human and ranamon form were close enough to the same size that she could wear her dress in either one. Kitty couldn't, most because of her claws which posed a huge threat to normal clothes, try putting on a shirt while holding a bunch of knives, and her persiamon form also has just a little bit more junk in the trunk.

Anyway I started to get dressed in this tux I still had from bachusmon's, only for Phoebe to come in a bit later and insist I take a shower.

"Cj take a shower first come on, you need to be your best." Phoebe said after she returned from taking Saphy somewhere.

"Really?" I asked as I was already halfway dressed.

"Mhm." She nodded.

"Ok, fine. You going to shower with me?" I asked her lovingly as I shamelessly stripped naked in front of her.

"Before your date? No, you need to save some for Saphy." She said.

"Well unless we're getting to it right away I'll have more by then." I said.

"You weirdo." She said as I helped her out of her dress for the third time that day.

"Why? Because I wanna fuck my wife?" I asked as she decided to give in and undressed the rest of the way on her own.

Then I pulled her along towards the shower and we got in once the water warmed up and started making out.

"You want this don't you?" I asked.

"Yeah." She replied as she gently caressed my manhood. "We could've been doing this all day."

"Yeah, but we gotta pace it out a little bit, it will get boring eventually, you remember the bus." I said.

"Yeah, I remember." She replied.

"You sure you don't want to go out with me instead?" I asked.

"I'll join you in bed tonight, but you can't change it now, Saphy is already ready, it'd be really rude to back out." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, fair enough." I said.

"But we can have another quickie in here just the two of us." Phoebe said.

"Well I would hope so considering you already got in here with me." I said.

"mmm, I wuv you." She said after kissing me passionately.

"I love you too Pheebles, you strange strange girl." I replied.

"Touch me all you want, you know how to get me going." She said.

"Yeah turn around baby." I replied, kissing her neck after she did so as we started to fondle each other lovingly before things started to get a lot hotter and heavier.

I took her in the shower for the 2nd time that day, then she threw her dress back on and helped me get dressed.

"Ok now when you're ready you're going to pick her up in Tabby's room since everyone is in her room for some reason. Then you'll take her down to the cafeteria and I'll be there waiting for you." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

"Is this some kind of power fantasy thing for you?" I asked her out of the blue.

"No, it's just something to break up the monotony and kind of get closer to Saphy. Why?" She replied.

"I don't know, I just don't understand you sometimes." I said.

"Well you and Saphy are my best friends here, so this is also sort of a thank you, I guess." She said.

"Ok." I replied with a bit of unsuriety.

"But mostly it's just us getting closer to Saphy." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

A few minutes later I went to go get Saphy from Tabby's room, everything aside she did look pretty damned good in that dress.

"You like?" She asked.

"You're just as pretty as you were at Bachusmon's that one night." I replied.

"Well atleast I haven't gotten any uglier." She said.

"To do that you'd have to be ugly to begin with." I said.

"Awwwe." She replied.

"This feel awkward at all to you?" I asked.

"Yeah, kind of." She replied.

"Same." I agreed. "Oh well, might as well go see what she's been doing in the cafeteria all afternoon." I said.

"Yeah." She agreed as she followed me over there.

"Good evening and welcome to my restaurant. Go take a seat our waitress will be with you shortly." Phoebe greeted us from the kitchen as we made it to the café as not enough time had passed for her boobs to be back to normal yet from our escapade in the shower.

She did dress it up quite a bit, it looked completely different, a lot darker in general with a lot more of a romantic atmosphere as opposed to the very bright and casual one it had before.

"Leave it to her to go over the top." I said. "You can't say she neglects you now."

"Then why are you here and not her?" Saphy asked.

"Don't you get it she's doing this for both of us, not because I want you, but because she wants you." I said.

"Ohh, well this is a weird way to express it." Saphy said.

"No argument there." I replied. "Anyway she's going to be with us tonight." I said.

"Awwe we're not going to have the night alone together?" She asked.

"Maybe when I feel like I know you better." I said.

"You've let me have nights with her in the past." She said.

"I know, but you're her digimon. You're the only one I'd let do that, besides Kitty and Zari." I replied.

"I see. So you trust me with her?" She said.

"More like I trust her to always come back to me, but yeah." I said.

"And she trust you with me obviously." Saphy said.

"Hey guys, um, what do you want to drink?" Emika asked as she came over looking like the cutest waitress ever.

"I don't know what does this world have for drinks again?" I asked.

"I don't remember." Saphy replied.

"You want me to just bring a bunch of cans out?" Emika asked.

"Yeah that works." I replied.

"Ok I'll be back then." Emika said before heading to the kitchen.

"Where's our menus?" I asked.

"Your what?" She asked.

"You know the piece of paper that contains all the food that's available?" I asked.

"Paper?" She asked as she gave me a confused look, not understanding the concept.

"Just ask Pheebles." I told her.

"Ok." She replied.

"She doesn't understand paper?" Saphy asked.

"I don't think her home world invented it yet. Maybe I should've asked for a scroll or sheep skin or something." I said half-jokingly.

"Maybe." She replied, trying to hide her own confusion. "She is pretty cute though in that outfit."

"Yeah, I wonder where Phoebe got it, or did she just find it here?" I asked.

"No idea." Saphy replied.

"So did you see anything interesting on the tv today?" I asked.

"Just some cartoons why?" Saphy asked.

"That was kind of how Kitty got into gardening, she saw a bunch of shows about it. Maybe you could find some hobbies sometime too? It doesn't have to be gardening, it can be whatever, but still." I said.

"Maybe after all this." She said.

"Yeah, for sure, can't really pick anything up right now since we're on the move constantly." I agreed.

"Right." She replied.

Emika came back and set a bunch of soda cans on the table. A few familiar brands from the concession stand on the beach, and a few new ones.

"Here's two of every drink we have and there are no menus you're both getting fillets." Emika said.

"Fillets of what?" I replied.

"I don't know." She replied.

"Ok, well we'll have two of those then." I said, teasingly as Saphy tried one of the new sodas in a yellow and pink can. I went with Fuchette's wineberry soda, knowing it was pretty much just straight up grape soda.

"Any good?" I asked.

"Ehhh it's ok." She replied.

"What even is it?" I asked.

"I can't read the can." She said as she turned it to show me.

"I can't either." I replied as it was printed in Listanian.

Then music started to play, coming from the kitchen, it was what I could best describe as some slow vaguely Italian sounding song with lyrics that were also in Listanian so I really couldn't understand what it was about, but it added to the atmosphere atleast.

"So how many viraras are you planning on having?" Saphy asked.

"I'm trying to real her back in, I'm only really in love with her and Kitty." I replied.

"Not me?" She asked.

"We'll see ok? I like you, and you're a big maybe, and honestly you're the only other one I'd be willing to let in, I don't really care what Phoebe says the newbies need to go off on their own, but we'll have to see what happens after the war when we have a chance to settle down and go our separate ways for a bit. " I replied.

"The group is splitting up?" Saphy asked.

"We'll all keep in touch, and probably not forever, but, did you really think we're all just going to live in one big house together? I know that's what Phoebe wants, but, I don't know Saphy, we'll just have to wait and see, and it's not going to be like the goddesses and Ninjamon where we're probably never going to see them again, we're all going to be on this same world here, for a pretty long time. " I said.

"Well, I don't care what you say I'm staying with you and Phoebe." She said.

"Ok, but Kitty is also my wife now too, so." I said.

"I get that, it's fine, she likes me too, so she won't make any unreasonable requests right?" Saphy asked.

"Well if it's like it was with Zari she'll just force you to eat her out and then make you watch me fuck her, so. I don't know. She might just not let you in at all." I said.

"That's not that bad I've seen you fuck her before." Saphy said.

"I know but we're not doing anything until after the war is over so let's just move on to something else." I said as Emika brought out our fillets.

"Like dinner?" She asked.

"That works." I replied.

"She cooked us some steaks." I said as Emika set the plates on the table.

"Here you go!" Emika said cheerfully.

"I'll guess we'll see if they're any good." I said.

"She is a good cook isn't she?" Saphy asked.

"Most of the time. Like I said earlier atleast we're both in for a good time, if nothing else." I said.

The steak was pretty good, no idea what kind of animal it was actually from, but it was good. It was the first time I had steak in a long time too.

Phoebe actually stepped out of the kitchen to come join us. Not what I was expecting, but I was more than happy to have my sweet baby girl there with me.

"Mind if I join you Saphy?" She asked.

"Go ahead." Saphy replied.

"Oh hey baby girl, glad you could join us." I said, huggling her as soon as she sat next to me.

"Is it good?" She asked.

"It's good, you did good." I said.

"Good, I made one for me too." She said cheerfully as she set her own plate on the table.

"And Emika too?" I asked.

"Yeah, but she's eating by herself in the kitchen." Phoebe replied.

"And Natalia?" I asked.

"She'll get hers later maybe, She'll come here if she's hungry won't she?" Phoebe asked.

"Probably, I don't know where else she'd plan on going." I replied.

"So how's your date going?" She asked.

"The spark isn't really here but we're having a good time atleast." I replied.

"Yeah." Saphy replied.

"I guess that's about what I expected." Phoebe said.

"Can I still live with you without being your virara?" Saphy asked.

"Are you going to be able to live with us without ever wanting to play around just a little?" Phoebe asked.

"What happens if she finds somebody is she going to bring them over?" I asked.

"That's also a good question. Especially if you and Kitty have a baby." Phoebe said.

"You're getting a little too far ahead there." I said.

"Well it depends on how long it takes us to get home. Cause you don't have to have just the one with her, you can always just have another baby whose age matches up more with Charley's." Phoebe said.

"And then Zari is going to want one and you're going to want another and we're going to end up with so many kids we won't remember them all." I said.

"You might not but their mothers will." Phoebe said.

"And you're going to be really sad watching them with their babies since we don't have the drug we need for me to get you pregnant." I said.

"No, because there will be cute babies to play with and I don't even have to deal with all the hard work." She said.

"What's that even like?" Saphy asked.

"Honestly it's kind of hard to describe. There's just so much there, so much." I said.

" Well giving birth really sucks but after that, when you baby looks up at you for the first time, you will never see anything so pure and you never feel more love for anything than for that little boy. And you will want nothing but to hold him and be with him forever but you can't, because someday he will grow up and he will have to go out on his own and he will have to experience the world for himself, the good, the bad, all of it, and the best you can do is make sure he is ready." Phoebe said as she held back tears.

"Pheebles, Charley is still a baby." I said.

"I know, but still." She replied.

"Maybe someday." Saphy said.

"You got some growing to do yourself first." Phoebe said.

"I know." Saphy replied.

"Same with Tabby and the newbies." I said.

"Yeah." Phoebe agreed.

"But Kitty and Zari are ok?" Saphy asked.

"Zari has been a mother before and Kitty, I think she could handle it." I said.

"We'll help you get there if you do become our virara." Phoebe said.

"Pheebles quit getting all virara and baby crazy." I said.

"Oh come on." She replied.

"Let's just see how things work out with Kitty and I first, and no-more half digimon babies until then ok? Cause if that kid develops powers atleast that way we'll know what to expect with the others. Because we can deal with some ripped up furniture but with Saphy's kid we might come home to a flooded house or something." I said.

"Ok ok." Phoebe replied.

"Anyway are you coming to bed with us tonight or what?" I asked.

"I guess so, but the dates not over yet." Phoebe said.

"I don't get the night alone with you?" Saphy asked.

"I thought about it for a little bit, and I realized it will be more fun if I'm there to help coax Cj into things." Phoebe said.

"Ok, if you say so." Saphy replied.

"You can try." I said.

"I didn't even have too when you wanted me in the kitchen and the shower. You've been horny for me all day you horny boy." She pointed out.

"That's because I love you." I said.

"I know, I know, but for you to ever doubt my ability to tempt you is just silliness. So don't." She said with a grin as she prodded me teasingly. To which I put my arm around her and squeezed her against me affectionately before kissing her cheek as well.

"So what did you mean date's not over yet?" Saphy asked.

"Well there's got to be some dancing of course!" Phoebe said.

"Really?" Saphy asked.

"Oh yes, after we're done eating though." Phoebe said.

"You wanna dance baby?" I asked as I looked into her pretty red eyes.

"Yeah you can dance with me first then Saphy." She replied.

"Fine." I said.

"Just remember this isn't about me it's about her." She said.

"I know." I replied.

"Um am I allowed to leave the kitchen?" Emika asked.

"Your job is done, you can leave whenever you want sweetie." Phoebe replied.

"Ok." Emika said.

"You can even stick around and dance with Cj if you want." Phoebe said.

"Ok." She cheerfully replied.

"You really want to?" I asked.

"Yeah why not? I like you." Emika said.

"Ok sure." I replied.

"You can go after Saphy." Phoebe said.

"Can I sit with you now?" Emika asked.

"No! We're on a date. Either stay in the kitchen or leave the dining room." Phoebe said.

"Ok whatever." Emika said.

"Weirdest date I've ever been on. And I've gone out with Kitty more times than I can remember." I said.

"What was your weirdest date with her?" Phoebe asked.

"Well there was one time we were just leaving the movie theatre and she absent mindedly walked into the street and got nailed by a car, and everyone around went ballistic because she just got back up like nothing happened. But of course somebody went and called the police and we had to go through all of that just to tell them we weren't pressing charges, she was a little sore, but nothing a little massage with the little bit of digiroot paste we had leftover wouldn't fix.

"Anyway are we all done eating?" She asked.

"It was a great supper Pheebles, thank you." I said.

"No I need to go put the music on." She said.

"I meant the dancing music not the fancy restaurant music." She said.

"I don't know, I just asked the librarian for fancy restaurant music and listened to a few cds and this one sounded the best." She explained.

"You borrowed a cd from a library?" I asked.

"Two cds." She replied.

"Now I gotta go change them so I'll be back in a bit." She said as she pulled herself away from me and left the table.

"You ever heard of a library where you can borrow cds?" I asked Saphy.

"What's a cd?" She asked.

"You know the video discs on the bus? It's like that but instead of being used for movies they're used for songs or just files and data in general." I replied.

"Oh ok." She replied.

Phoebe went and changed the music to something that sounded like some sort of love song before returning.

"You ready to dance yet?" She asked as she offered me her hand. " Come here I wanna help you get into the mood. If she doesn't mind." Phoebe said.

"Go ahead." Saphy replied.

I took her hand and let her pull me out of the booth.

"And just what kind of mood you trying to get me in baby girl?" I asked. As we started to slow dance together.

"I'm just trying to loosen you up a bit so you'll give Saphy a good time." She said.

"And what about Emika?" I asked.

"She's still eating, but she'll be out in a bit to keep Saphy from getting bored." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

"You sure you don't wanna just go back to the room and smash?" I asked.

"Hey no, I told you this isn't about me it's about Saphy. Besides, I let you have had plenty of rounds with me today." She said.

"Yeah ok." I replied.

"So return the favor and focus on her for me ok? Because letting her join our family would go a long way to make things up to me." Phoebe asked.

We started focusing more on our dance and had some good clean fun together until the song ended.

"Ok now why don't you dance with Emika and then will you spend the rest of the night with Saphy for me please?" She asked as cutely as she possibly could.

"Yeah ok." I replied.

"Emika it's your turn." She said as she headed towards the table where Emika was talking with Saphy.

"So um, where did you even go today?" I asked as I started to dance with the adorable witch.

"Just outside of town. Why? I was flying around for fun. I don't think anyone was out there. I doubt they could see me." She said.

"Well still, we could have used you when they showed up and if they did find you somehow. While you were out there on your own." I said.

"I won't wander off that far again. Ok?" She said.

"Allright good." I replied.

"I wish I had a dress too." She said with a sigh after a moment of silence.

"Well this was supposed to be for Saphy, Phoebe just let you in to be nice since you were her waitress for a bit." I said.

"So you don't feel anything for me?" Emika asked.

"You're really cute, I like you but you haven't been part of this group all that long. And there's other guys out there you know? You have any clue how many times I have this conversation?" I asked.

"All thanks to her huh?" She asked, referring to Phoebe.

"Pretty much yeah." I agreed.

"Well, back on my home world, I've heard stories of kings from distant lands with harems with hundreds of wives." She said.

"Yeah but how many of those do they actually know on a personal level?" I asked.

"We'll get to that with time." She replied.

"I don't know, I just don't know." I said.

"Well you'll figure it out someday I'm sure." She said with confidence.

"Hopefully." I replied.

She went quiet for the rest of the song, then it was Saphy's turn.

"Is any of this changing your mind?" Saphy asked.

"Not really, but we're still having a good time right?" I asked.

"I guess so. It was kind of boring just sitting and watching you dance though." She replied.

"Fair enough." I said. "Not your kind of music?"

"I don't know, it's meant for dancing isn't it?" She asked.

"Yeah, I mean you can't really dance to heavy metal, you can just shake your head up and down and maybe do a little air guitar you know?" I said.

"Not really." She replied.

"Eh, you'll learn." I said.

Then she kissed me, out of nowhere.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"When this war is over I don't want either of you to ever leave me. I mean it, I'm with you both until the end." She said.

"Maybe we should work something out then." I relented with a sigh.

"Maybe." She agreed.

"You guys ready for bed then?" Phoebe asked in a teasingly seductive way, ruining the moment.

"You want to?" Saphy asked.

"I don't really have a choice." I replied with a laugh.

"Of course you do, we'll both just be really disappointed in you if you don't." Phoebe said with a mischievous smile.

"Let's go then." Saphy said as she led me to the door.

"You two have the first round together, I'll pop in afterwards." Phoebe said before we left.

Saphy more or less dragged me back to her room.

"You really wanna do this?" I asked.

"Yeah, let's work something out, like you said." She replied as she wrapped herself around me.

"I guess you are pretty cute in that dress." I said before pulling her into a kiss.

"Yeah." She replied.

"And you'll give me one of your legendary blowjobs?" I asked.
