Demon King's return to Duel Links didn't go as he thought it would. A lot were excited to see him again, but those who actually knew him knew that trouble couldn't be far behind. Wiseman watched carefully as to what was happening up there.

"Wiseman!" He turned around to see Aoneko and Kyubi showed up. "Are you okay?" Aoneko questioned.

"I'll be fine. D.K. might be in trouble." Wiseman said. "He's dueling against the guy that attacked me. It just started, and they're even at the moment, but that could quickly change. The guy he's dueling can use the same skill as him."

"The same skill?! How can that be?!" Kyubi questioned as they knew no one should have the same skill as Demon King. Meanwhile, others were watching this duel unfold. Two of them were familiar faces, but there was a another stranger close by that had a good look at the duel. Speaking of the duel, it was about to get intense. Demon King had all of his life points with him having Edens Ninja and Sylph at 2000 and 1700atk points with a face-down, but his opponent Shura had 3200LP and a monster named Dark G. Halley at 2800atk points. That was also the same monster he used his skill to call on.

"I like it." Shura said. "I think I found myself my new favorite monster. Aren't I lucky to have this."

"I can't believe he has the same skill as us. How did he manage to get it?" Demon King questioned.

"I'm not sure, but we must be more concerned about that new monster. All three link arrows are pointing to our field." Eden warned. "If all three of it's links are pointing to our field, it must have a powerful ability."

"Let's see how much of a punch this thing packs." Shura said. "Dark G. Halley, attack Edens Sylph! Strike it down with Heavy Force!" His monster went on the attack as it shot its fist forward with it having the force of a meteor behind it. Edens Sylph was right in the line of the attack, but then Edens Ninja got in the way. "Hey! Down in front!"

"When Edens Sylph is the target of the attack, Edens Ninja's special ability steps in to protect her!" Demon King claimed.

"Fine. At least you still lose a monster and take some damage." Shura said. The attack came in and smashed against Edens Ninja with it being destroyed and Demon King's life points dropping to 3000. "Since he's no longer on the field, your other monster loses power!" Edens Sylph's power dropped to 1300. "With that, I end my turn."

"I don't know who this guy is, but he's not messing around." Demon King said.

"Indeed. You must defeat him so we can get some answers." Eden said. "There seems to be more to it than we assume."

"Right. My turn!" Demon King as he drew his next card, a new spell. "I activate Fire of Edens! This allows me to summon Edens Flame!" He brought out a new monster with it being a man in mechanical armor and carried a flamethrower with it having 1400atk points. "I now activate his special ability! Once per turn, I can banish a spell from my graveyard for you to lose 400LP! So, I'll get rid of my Wind of Edens!" He disposed of one his spells, but his new monster unleashed a stream of fire that burned against Shura and caused his life points to drop to 2800. "And now that I have two Edens monsters on the field, I can summon this monster without a tribute! I summon Edens Demon King!" He called out his ace monster as it emerged on the field with 2500atk points.

"That's your best monster. Bring it on." Shura challenged as he was looking forward to this.

"Consider it brought! I activate Gravitational Depth!" Demon King said. "When I have at least three Edens monsters on the field, I can double the attack points of one of them!" He had his Demon King power as it increased to 5000. "You're finished! My Demon King is going to break your Halley apart! Attack!"

"I don't think so!" Shura said as he pulled a fast one. "I activate Halley's ability! When you launch an attack when there's a monster next to it's link, I can force that monster to attack instead! Since your Demon King and Flame are linked to Halley, I can force your weaker monster to attack! Since it's linked to Halley, it has to attack it!"

"No!" Eden said. His Flame was forced to attack, but the flames didn't work. What Halley did was smash its fist against Flame and destroyed it with Demon King's life points dropped to 1600.

"Not good! Without three Edens monsters on the field, Edens Demon King loses power." Eden said as it's power returned to normal. "So that's why all three link arrows are pointed to our field. Whatever monster we summon next to them, he can force our weaker monsters to attack first."

"You can still attack, but now you'll have to attack with your weakened machine." Shura said. "So, you can either keep battling or just end your turn." Demon King didn't like this, but he had no choice.

"I end my turn." Demon King said.

"That's what I thought. My turn!" Shura said as he drew his next card. "You can't stop my attack this time! Halley, attack Edens Sylph! Heavy Force!" His monster went on the attack and aimed for the same target.

"Wrong! I can still stop it! I use Edens Demon King to block your attack!" Demon King called. His monster formed a barrier of gravity and was able to block the attack.

"You're not as safe as you think you are! I activate my quick-play spell: Heavy Rain!" Shura said. "Since a Dark G. Attacked this turn, this spell can deal you damage equal to half of it's attack points! That means you're losing 1400LP!" Shura practically had a small meteor shower rain down on Demon King. All the attacks pelted against him with him trying to hold on, but his life points dropped all the way to 200. "I thought you were suppose to be tougher than this. Pretty disappointing."

"This guy doesn't waste a thing." Demon King claimed.

"Indeed. All of his maneuvers were timed perfectly and made full use." Eden said. "If we do not turn things around this turn, it's over."

"Well, let's turn it around. It's my turn now. I draw!" Demon King said as he drew his next card, but it wasn't exactly the one he was hoping for.

"Based on the cards we currently hold, I can't exactly calculate a way to win this turn." Eden said. "We'll just have to try and hold out until our next turn."

"Maybe we can't win with these cards, but we can just get another one." Demon King claimed.

"You mean with our skill? He'll expect us to do that." Eden said. "Besides, there's no guarantee we'll get a monster as powerful as what he has. We might not even be able to summon it, and it only works once."

"I know, but we have to try." Demon King said. He has to take the chance or he might beat this guy, and losing to him might not be an option. "I activate my skill! I can add a random monster to my extra deck!" He activated his skill and began to compress the data around him into his hand to form a brand new card. "Gravity Call!" He compressed the gravity and gained himself a brand new card, but it was just as Eden warned. It wasn't as powerful as Shura's, but Demon King looked at what it could do. "Yeah. This could work."

"Place your monsters carefully. Whatever you play may not matter if he can force the monsters next to Halley's link to attack first." Eden warned.

"I've got this. I summon Edens Witch to the field!" Demon King said. His witch appeared with her having 1000atk points. "Next, her special ability allows me to add any spell or trap card to my hand, and I have just the one." He claimed as he took it. "It's my Crew of Edens, which I will now activate! This spell will take any monsters used as material to summon a monster from my extra deck to move from my graveyard to my deck."

"Why do that?" Shura questioned.

"I don't like sending monsters to my graveyard if I can help it." Demon King said. "With that done, I'm now building my circuit!" He called as the circuit opened. "The summoning conditions are two level three or higher monsters! So, I'll set Witch and Sylph in the link arrows!" Both of them dived into the arrows on top and bottom. "I link summon Master Bot Xenolith!" He summoned out a rather small robot wearing a green cloak. It also had 1500atk points. "I also get those two monsters from my graveyard and place them back into my deck."

"Is that the monster your skill allowed you to get? How pathetic." Shura mocked. "What is that robot a master of? Looking dumb? How is that monster going to help you?"

"You're about to find out." Demon King said. "I activate my trap: Call of the Lost! This trap brings back a monster that was destroyed during my last battle phase! That means I can bring back my Edens Flame!" He brought back his pyro technician and summoned it next to Xenolith's link. "When a monster is special summoned next to Xenolith's link, his attack points double until the end of the turn!" Xenolith gained power as it now had 3000atk points.

"300atk points?! I'm in trouble! Not!" Shura mocked. "It doesn't matter how strong it is because Halley's ability makes it so I can force your weaker Demon King to attack first. Even if you do that and attack with Xenolith and your other monster, I'll still have some life points left."

"No. I'm ending this now." Demon King claimed.

"That's right because Gravitational Depth has another ability." Eden said. "If we banish it from the graveyard, the attack points of one Edens monster is added to another!"

"Which means I can give all of Edens Flame's attack points to Edens Demon King!" Demon King claimed as his monster's power increased to 3900. "Now, it doesn't matter which of these two attack! Your monster is going down all the same!"

"No! That can't be!" Shura said as he thought he had this won.

"Xenolith, attack Dark G. Halley!" Demon King called. "Attack with Mechanized Power!" Xenolith jumped right at the giant rock monster and smashed it's small fist against it. Once that happened, Halley crumped to pieces for that small fist carried a lot of force behind it. It caused Shura's life points to drop to 2600. "Edens Demon King, attack him directly and end this! Gravity Fist!" His monster gathered gravity around its fist and attacked Shura with great might. The attack smashed against Shura and caused his life points to drop all the way to zero. It knocked him right off his board with him falling to a nearby island and crashing into it.

Interstellar

"Well, it appears that Demon King won. It would seem that none of his skill has vanished." Justice said. "This might be our best chance. Send in our new security drones and apprehend both of them! I want answers!"

"Sir, we're detecting a strange signal heading for that location."

"What?!" Justice said. Another surprise? What is going on?

Duel Links

Demon King flew down to where Shura crashed. It looked like he took a hard landing, but Shura was still in one piece.

"Is he going to be okay?" Demon King questioned.

"Perhaps. That did look like a hard fall, but we need answers. We need to know where he learned that skill." Eden said.

"I don't think so." Before they could do anything, the stranger that was watching them came down. It appeared to be a woman marron hair and a navy blue tight suit. "I won't let you take him." She grabbed a hold of Shura and took off on her own board. "Be glad that you won. It will go very differently next time."

"Stop!" Eden called, but the mystery woman kept going. "After them! We cant let them escape!"

"I'm on it!" Demon King claimed as he jumped back ok his board and chased after them. "Stop! Get back here!"

"Doesn't this guy ever give up?" The lady questioned.

"Ijuna?" Shura said as he tried to pull himself together. "Is he following after us? Let me at him. I know I can take him."

"Don't be foolish." Ijuna said. "You took a pretty hard hit. In a speed duel, that could be dangerous. You need some time to recover."

"I've got you!" Demon King said as he was catching up to them. Just as he was about to, something flew in between them and got in the way. Someone else interfered, but this new comer appeared to be some sort of robot with a skull face.

"Target found."

"What the heck?! Another duelist?!" Demon King said.

"Not exactly. My sensors indicate that thing isn't an avatar. It looks to be some sort of program, but I've never seen one like it before." Eden said.

"Initiating duel program. Duel." The program said as it looked ready to take on Demon King now.

"Good. Keep that thing busy." Ijuna said. With Demon King preoccupied, she could make a clean escape.

"Someone else wants to take me on?" Demon King questioned.

"We do not have time for this. By the time we get done with this duel, those two will already be long gone." Eden said. "Forget this one and go after those two."

"Okay." Demon King said as he tried to go around it, but the skeletal robot tried to go after him. "It doesn't look like this one is going to let us go."

"Demon King needs some help!" Aoneko said as his friends could see that Demon King is having some trouble. "We need to get up there and help him." They were all about to do just that, but someone else beat him to the punch. Someone flew right over their heads and was heading for where Demon King was. Demon King tried to shake the robot coming after him and Eden, but someone else smashed into it and knocked it back.

"What was that?" Demon King questioned. He took a look as to who just helped them, but he was surprised to see a familiar face.

"You can go on ahead. I'll take care of this guy for you."

"I don't believe it! Jinn?!" Demon King said as he was surprised to see him. Jinn was a duelist he ran into a few times where he and his sister were working for Drakken Joe, but he's helping him now? Jinn hasn't been seen since Drakken Joe was taken down himself. Why would he appear now just to help Demon King? "What are you doing?"

"Don't milk what I'm doing. Just get going." Jinn said.

"I do not understand the logic in this just yet, but I do believe it would be best for us to keep going." Eden said. Demon King didn't get it either, but he went on ahead and continued to pursue Shura and Ijura. As that was going on, Jinn's sister, Sylph, was there as well. She was riding on her on board, but decided to go after Demon King instead. As for Jinn, he faced the robot just like he said he would.

"You want a duel so badly? You got one right here." Jinn said as he was taking the thing on. The winds seem to be changing. Now it's Jinn's turn to duel.
