When Demon King and his friends, joined by Kris and Kleene Rutherford, returned to Duel Links to go after Shura, they were spotted by Holy. Attempting to hold her off so that the others could make it, Kyubi stayed behind to duel Holy. In fact, they were just about to start.
"Don't think this will be easy. I might be part of some big time corporation, but I'm quite the duelist myself." Holy said. "You're about to see that."
"I'm always looking for a new challenge, so bring it on." Kyubi said as they were both set to go.
"Very well. I'll go first." Holy said as she was starting things off. "I'll begin by activating one of my favorite spell cards. It's simply called Melt. Thanks to this spell, I get to look at your hand and choose to send one card to the graveyard. If I choose to send a monster, you'll lose 500LP." Kyubi didn't like the sound of that. The duel just started and she'll already take some damage. "If I'm not mistaken, you use Warrior-Maiden's, and the true power of your Warrior-Maidens comes from having multiple ones on the field because they are able to empower each other. I wonder if you'll be able to do that when I'm done with you. Now, let's see..." Holy took a look at what's in Kyubi's hand. "As tempting as it is to deal you damage, I think I'll choose your Sakuretsu Armor. That trap could be most troubling." She made her choice and Kyubi had no choice except to discard it. "Next, I'll summon Alluring Fire Lady to the field!" She summon out an attractive woman wearing a red dress, but she was also surrounded by fire. Her monster also had 1500atk points. "And she can be quite alluring. Thanks to her ability, we both draw two cards from our decks. If any of them are monsters with more attack points than her, they go to the graveyard and we'll lose 400LP per monster. Ready?" Both of them reached for their cards and drew them. "Lucky me. Neither of my cards are monsters. What about you?"
"I drew two Warrior-Maiden Leopards. They both have 1800atk points." Kyubi said.
"I'm afraid that means you have to discard both of them." Holy teased. Kyubi had to, but in doing so she also took damage with her life points dropping to 3200. "And would you look at that. One of the cards I drew was another Melt."
"Another one?!" Kyubi said.
"I told you it was my favorite. It's simple and effective." Holy said. "Now, let's take another look." She had another look at the cards Kyubi had. "I'll choose Warrior-Maiden Crane since that one could block my attacks." Kyubi discarded another card. "Since that was a monster, you also lose another 500LP." Kyubi took more damage as her life points dropped down to 2700.
'I think I see her strategy.' Kyubi thought. 'She's trying to limit my options by forcing me to discard my cards. My Warrior-Maidens do empower each other, but it won't do much good if I can't play them.'
"I'll place one face-down and that should end my turn." Holy said. "Your move. Better make it count."
"I will!" Kyubi said as she drew her card. "I play The Warrior Returning Alive! This allows me to take a warrior from my graveyard and add it to my hand! I choose my Warrior-Maiden Leopard, who I will now summon!" She summoned out her warrior with her having 1800atk points. "Warrior-Maiden Leopard, attack Alluring Fire Lady!" Her warrior attacked Alluring Fire Lady with a sword and struck it down with Holy's life points dropping down to 3700. "Now I use Warrior-Maiden Leopard's ability to summon another Warrior-Maiden, and it will be free to attack! I summon Warrior-Maiden Snake!" She summoned out another female warrior with it having 1500atk points. "With nothing on your field, I can now attack you directly."
"You might want to rethink that." Holy said. "You didn't notice that right when you destroyed my monster, I activated my trap card: Temptation of Mischief! Since you destroyed my only monster, this trap card allows me to summon my favorite monster. I summon Dark Temptress!" She summoned out a new monster. A female succubus with flowing blonde hair and large black wings, horns, a thin tail, and with her wearing a dark and purple unitard and long gloves with stilettoes. She also had 2200atk points. "Want to know what makes her tempting? If you attack, she will lose 1000atk points."
"She'll lose power?" Kyubi questioned.
"That's right. Knowing that, do you still want to attack?" Holy said. Kyubi isn't that foolish. She knows that monster must have some other ability, but she also has to deal as much damage as she can.
"Very well. Warrior-Maiden Snake, attack!" Kyubi called. Her monster attacked as she thrusted her weapon forward to attack. Just like Holy said, Dark Temptress' power dropped to 1200 and she was easily destroyed with Holy's life points dropping to 3400.
"Thank you. You just triggered her other ability!" Holy said. "When Dark Temptress is destroyed, she resurrects and I'm free to destroy any of your monsters, such as your Warrior-Maiden Leopard!" Dark Temptress emerged through a dark portal as she resurrected. When she did, she blew a black heart at Kyubi's warrior and destroyed it. "I get you were trying to deal me damage, but you lost a monster as a result."
"Perhaps, but I will not lose this duel." Kyubi claimed, but Holy found this amusing.
"I'll be honest with you about something. I actually like you and your friends." Holy said. "You do things your own way rather than sit by and do nothing. Your group is one of action. Still, I can't let you do whatever you please. Tell me something, Kyubi, what exactly is it that you're fighting for? What made you want to take on the likes of Drakken Joe?"
"Originally, I joined with Demon King because I saw him as a fellow duelist that I wished to challenge, but I came to respect." Kyubi said. "I offered my help before and things escalated. As for why we took on the likes of Drakken Joe, I can't really say without revealing something personal of Demon King. Let's just say he was trying to finish what someone else started. I thought you would have been happy that Drakken Joe was taken down."
"Taken down, but not out. He's still roaming free." Holy said. "I have to say that those reasons are understandable, but it sounds like you have no personal stake in this."
"What about you?" Kyubi questioned. "Are you doing this out of sheer obligation?"
"For this, I am. I do what I must, but there is something more personal for me." Holy said. "There's someone I'm looking for that I wish to bring down. Someone who took so much from me. Drakken Joe isn't the only threat out there. There are others that register to be on the same level as him. One of them, I've been looking for, and I plan to make them answer for what they did. Just as Justice desires to bring down Piratetress, there is someone out there that I desire to bring down more than anything."
"You mean you're driven by revenge?" Kyubi said.
"If you want to look at it that way, so be it." Holy said. "Until then, I'm simply doing my duties. You and your buddies are causing some trouble, so I have to do my job."
"Perhaps, but revenge won't solve anything. It won't bring back whatever it is that you lost." Kyubi warned.
"I know that, but this is something I need. Until then, you'll be good practice." Holy claimed. "It's my turn. I draw!" She drew her next card. "I activate Pot of Duality! I get to look at the top three cards of my deck and add one to my hand." She looked at the top three cards she had and saw one that she liked. "Look at that. I got my third Melt card, so I'll take that one and the other two go back to my deck. Next, I activate Melt! You know what that means. I can select one card in your hand and sent it to the graveyard, but if it's a monster, you lose 500LP. If my math is right, you only have one card left in your hand. It's a second Warrior-Maiden Snake, wasn't it." She was right. Kyubi had no choice. She had to discard it and her life points dropped down to 2200. "I think now would be a good time to activate my skill."
"Your skill?!" Kyubi said.
"That's right. Melty Kiss." Holy said. "My skill allows me to take all the copies of Melt in my graveyard and return them to my deck. Then, you lose 250LP for each one. Since I have all three copies in my graveyard, you're losing 750LP." She blew Kyubi a kiss, but it was a painful one. Once the kiss hit her, Kyubi's life points dropped all the way to 1450, and Holy had her three spells back. "I'm also allowed to draw one card." She claimed as she drew another card. 'My Melt card again. I do love it, but she's got no cards in her hand for me to use. Besides, I can't use it after using my skill. That's all fine because this is almost over.' "I now attack with Dark Temptress! Dark Lovely Finish!" Her Dark Temptress suddenly appeared right in front of Kyubi's warrior and wrapped her wings around her. Let's just say what happened there is not for the public eye, but Kyubi did lose life points. Her life points dropped all the way down to 750. "It's all over, Kyubi. You have no cards left in your hand. You have nothing left on your field. I'm afraid this is where it ends. I'm afraid your chances of winning have melted away."
"Not yet. Not as long as I can still draw a card and still have life points." Kyubi said.
"Admirable, but you might as well face it. You can't get yourself out of this one." Holy said, and she's right. Unless she can pull out a miraculous draw right now, this duel is over.
"Well, let's find out." Kyubi said. "I draw!" She drew her next card and it ended up being her best monster. 'Warrior-Maiden Dragon. This would help, but I can't summon her.'
"From the look on your face, I say you didn't draw what you needed." Holy said.
"Maybe, but I still have a chance." Kyubi said. "I activate my skill! Warrior Sense!" She called as her hand began to glow red. "In order to use my skill, I must return my entire hand to my deck." She claimed as she did just that. "After that, I can now draw one card for every Warrior-Maiden monster in my graveyard with a different name. Currently, I have three different Warrior-Maiden's in my graveyard."
"So you can draw three cards?" Holy said.
"Yes, but if any of those cards aren't related to my Warrior-Maiden's, they have to go back to my deck." Kyubi said as she's betting it all on this draw now. "Here goes. I draw!" She drew her three cards. Hopefully, they're ones that can turn this duel around. "One of the cards I drew was Lightning Blade. Since it's not a Warrior-Maiden card, it goes back to my deck. However, the other two cards are."
"And what could they be that could save you now?" Holy said.
"I'll show you! I activate Warrior-Maiden Ritual!" Kyubi claimed.
"A ritual spell?!" Holy said as she wasn't expecting that. "But you don't have anything in your hand or field to tribute."
"I don't need them. My ritual spell allows me to return the Warrior-Maiden's in my graveyard for the summoning." Kyubi said. That means she's clear to summon. "I return both of my Warrior-Maiden Snakes to my graveyard. Together, their levels equal eight." A red magic circle appeared with the spirits of her two monsters diving inside. "As these two offer their souls, a new power descends upon us! I ritual summon!" A pillar of light shot through the circle for a new monster to rise. "Enter this realm, Warrior-Maiden Kitsune!" She summoned out a brand new Warrior-Maiden in a red and white outfit designed like a kimono, but with a short skirt. She had long red hair with fox ears and had about nine fox tails. She also had 2800atk points.
"You've never played a ritual monster before. Impressive." Holy said. "However, even if you attack and my Dark Temptress loses power, I'll still have plenty of life points to spare and you will lose your monster."
"Not if I end this duel before that happens." Kyubi said. "Kitsune's ability not only allows her to copy the ability of a Warrior-Maiden in my graveyard, but it also allows her to gain their attack points! So my Kitsune absorbs the power of Warrior-Maiden Leopard!" Kitsune enchanted herself with the power of Kyubi's other monster with it now having 4600atk points.
"This can't be!" Holy said as she thought she had it.
"Warrior-Maiden Kitsune, attack Dark Temptress!" Kyubi called. "Your Dark Temptress' ability is still in effect, so it loses 1000atk points!" She claimed with Dark Temptress' power dropping to 1200. "Attack with Dancing Blades!" Kitsune attacked with two blades with an astral form of a fox appearing around her. She attacked with the movement of an elegant dancer and destroyed Holy's monster. With Holy's monster destroyed, all of her life points dropped to zero.
"You may have won this time, but it's not over yet." Holy warned before she was logged out. That had Kitsune worried and she hurried off to get to the others.

Demon King
"There it is!" Weisz guided as the others arrived to the last place Shura and Ijuna were seen. "You're at the spot where those two disappeared. Remember, it's going to be hard for me to maintain contact with you guys."
"We'll be fine." Demon King said as they headed for the point. "Can we get in?"
"I should be able to have us gain access." Eden said.
"Wait a minute." Aoneko said as she noticed something strange. "If this place is off limits, where is the security?" Something about this wasn't right, but they got their answer as someone came out of hiding. They all saw it was another member of Interstellar: Eraser.
"I see that Holy wasn't able to stop you." Eraser said. "No worries. You won't escape from me." Just when they got away from one member of Interstellar, another one shows up. Given his name, this one might not be so easy to shake.
