While Kyubi was able to fend off Holy, the others were able to get to where they last saw Shura and Ijura. However, Eraser was there and was waiting for them. Now, it looks like they'll have to get around him if they want to go any further.

"Not another one. I thought we gave them the slip." Aoneko said.

"What can I say? We're smarter than we look." Eraser said. "Now, let's have some fun." He flew right at the four of them, but they all moved out of the way before he crashed into them.

"Hey! Watch where you're flying!" Demon King said.

"Never mind him right now. We must go while we still can. He can't stop all of us from going in." Eden said as they have a change to get in, so they have to take it.

"Demon King, you go first. We'll hold him off, but do be careful." Aoneko said. Demon King didn't like the idea of leaving his friends behind, but he'll have to trust them. That's why he went on ahead while the others got in Eraser's way so that he couldn't stop them. Demon King went for the beam and Eden did her thing as it opened up and they were able to go inside. As for the others, they braced themselves for whatever Eraser might try.

"Sorry, but I'm not interested in you small fries." Eraser said. He held out his hand and was able to generate a bright white light that blinded all of them. With them blinded, he was able to fly right pass them and went after Demon King.

"He's going in!" Jinn said.

"Oh no!" Aoneko said as she and the others hurried to try and stop him, but Eraser managed to get in himself.

Weisz

"Looks like they managed to make it in, but so did that Interstellar guy." Weisz said. Weisz stayed behind in the real world to try and guide the others through that digital structure. Where he was right now was someplace you would usually find a hacker and making sure their activities won't be traced back to them."Demon King, can you hear me? Are you okay in there? Come in."

"Yeah. I can hear you, and everything is fine right now." Demon King said as Weisz was glad to hear that. he thought communication was going to be tough in there.

"How does it look in there?" Weisz questioned.

"It's... It's a little unreal." Demon King said with Weisz a little curious as to how it looks now.

Demon King

"Wow... This is freaky." Demon King said as he was in a stream of data where new data flowed in and old data was flowing out. The inside looked more complex than a mere tunnel. "What's the deal with this place?"

"This is how data is flowing in Duel Links." Eden said. "There's no telling where we could end up if we get out through the wrong way, so make sure you stick to the map that Weisz was able to program for us." He did just that. He went down different passages rather than going straight down. He needs to be sure he finds the right spot to exit.

"There's another thing weird. The gravity is a bit off." Demon King said. "We're going down, but I don't feel like we're falling. I can ride my board as if I was perfectly up straight."

"That's the power of adjusting to your view, like how the screen of your phone turns to how you hold it." Demon King looked behind him only to see Eraser flew past him and cut him off. "You didn't think it would be that easy to get rid of me, did you?"

"I was hoping it was." Demon King said.

"I must say that this is a pretty crazy stunt you pulled off. We've seen people on here do some crazy things, but none of them have done anything like this." Eraser said. "We just assumed others who came here would have been deleted, digitized, or whatever. This certainly will be interesting to explore. Now, care to share what exactly you're doing? Causing some mischief online in a different way?"

"All we're doing is looking for someone." Demon King said.

"At the risk of your own safety? You do know there's a chance you might not be able to return to the real world like this, do you?" Eraser said. "Well, it doesn't matter because I'm afraid I have to stop you. So, I'll give you a choice. Either surrender or we do this the hard way."

"I'm sorry, but we can't turn away now." Eden said with Demon King taking a stand.

"I thought so. In that case, I believe you know what we have to do." Eraser said as he took them on.

"Let's speed duel!"

Weisz

"They're going to duel inside that data steam?" Weisz questioned. "That's crazy, but I like it. I'm actually a little jealous now. Although, since the guy calls himself Eraser, D.K. might be in some real trouble here. Hey, you guys better hurry up and see what's going on. Chances are, you aren't going to see something like this again."

"We're hurrying! We're hurrying!" Aoneko called.

The Duel

"I think I'll be the one to start this." Eraser said as he was going first. "I'll start by summoning Zeraser LV. 1!" He started by summoning a teal pod wit it having a red glossy eye with 500atk points.

"What is that thing?" Demon King questioned.

"Appears to be some sort of alien-like structure, but in the game it's trouble because it will only grow stronger." Eden said.

"Your little friend there is right because I can tribute it to summon Zeraser LV. 3!" Eraser said. The thing appeared to have grown and a head with wings was emerging out of it and it had 1500atk points. "I'm not stopping there. I activate Level-Up! It allows me to have my little friend grow even stronger for it to become Zeraser LV. 5" It grew once again and formed a creature with a slender thin body with it having large wings and big glossy eye. It also had 2300atk points.

"Yikes! That thing did grow into something ugly!" Demon King said as he didn't like how this went.

"I place one card face-down and end my turn." Eraser said. "I heard that you're good. You even managed to beat Justice. Time to see how good you are."

"You're about to find out!" Demon King said as he drew his next card. "I'll start by summoning Edens Hermit to the field!" He summoned out Hermit with her having 600atk points. "Next, her special ability allows me to summon one monster from my deck as long as that monster has less than 1000atk points. I summon Starfighter-TX4!" He summoned out his little ship with it having 400atk points. "I now activate my ship's special ability. I can summon another monster from my deck, but that monster has to be the same level as another monster I have on the field. Since my Starfighter is a level two, I can now summon Gravity Linker!" He summoned out Gravity Linker with it having 400atk points. "I now have all the monsters needed to build my circuit!" The circuit opened up with all three monsters diving into the arrows on the bottom. "I link summon Gravity Thrasher!" He summoned out Gravity Thrasher with it having 2000atk points. "When Gravity Linker is used to link summon a Gravity monster, it's special ability lets me summon the other two monsters used in the summoning in defense mode by negating their special abilities." Hermit and Starfighter came back 400 and 200def points.

"Furthermore, Gravity Thrasher gains 300atk points for each monster next to it's link." Eden said with Gravity Thrasher's power now at 2600atk points.

"But what about Gravity Linker? I was told you don't like sending your monsters to the graveyard if you can help it." Eraser said.

"Your right, I don't. That's why I'm activating Space Rescue!" Demon King said. "This spell allows me to take a monster that's in my graveyard and return it to my deck!" He claimed as he took back his Gravity Linker. "It also allows me to draw a card!" He drew his next card, but he already had all that he needed.

"There they are!" Aoneko said as she and the others were able to catch-up to them. "They're already dueling."

"But it looks like Demon King is about to end it." Jinn said.

"Gravity Thrasher's other ability allows it to attack multiple times! This duel is already over!" Demon King said. "Gravity Thrasher, attack!" His monster went to deal the first attack, but Eraser wasn't worried.

"It's not over! I activate Fiendish Chain to put your monster in chains!" Eraser called. Chains came around Demon King's Gravity Linker and held it down.

"Oh no!" Eden said.

"What's going on?!" Demon King said.

"Fiendish Chain equips on to your monster." Eraser said. "In doing so, it's special abilities are negated and you can no longer attack with it." Just as Eraser said, Gravity Linker had it's special abilities negated with it's power dropping back to 2000.

"So, he just put one of D.K.'s best monsters out of commission." Aoneko said as that wasn't good for him.

"You didn't think it would be that easy to beat me, did you?" Eraser said. "Sorry, D.K. I'm afraid I'm not going anywhere, and when I'm done with you, you're going to answer for your actions. Hope you didn't have any plans for a long time."

"You still have to win this duel." Demon King said.

"And I'm going to do just that." Eraser said. "It's my turn now. I draw!" He drew his next and was time for him to get serious. "Prepare to see why they call me Eraser. First, I'm activating Zeraser's special ability." He claimed as he took the card he drew and sent it to the graveyard. "If I send one card in my hand to the graveyard, I can destroy one of your monsters."

"Any of my monsters?!" Demon King said as he didn't like that at all.

"That's right, and I think I'm going to use it on your Edens Hermit." Eraser said. "Go, Sonic Missile!" His creature unleashed a sonic wave that blasted against Hermit and destroyed her. "Next, I think I'll have my Zeraser destroy your little ship! Attack with Celestial Vanisher!" His monster fired a beam from it's mouth and destroyed Demon King's other monster.

"Oh no." Aoneko said as she didn't like how this was shaping.

"It's fine. Both of his monsters were in defense mode, so he won't be taking any damage." Jinn said.

"I wouldn't say that." Eraser said. "From my graveyard, I'm activating the effects of Zeraser Shriek!"

"From your graveyard?! How can he do that?!" Demon King questioned. "He didn't even play that card!"

"Unless... It must have been the card he discarded to activate Zeraser's ability, and it's a card that works when it's in the graveyard." Eden said.

"Very good. You're perceptive for an A.I." Eraser said. "My Zeraser Shriek can only be activated on the turn it's been discarded. Since my Zeraser destroyed a monster, both by it's own ability and by a battle, you lose half of your life points. This might hurt." Zeraser unleashed a horrible sonic sound with it smashing against Demon King. He tried to endure it as his life points dropped all the way to 2000.

"Oh no. I can't believe he's already lost half of his life points in just one shot." Aoneko said as this wasn't looking good for Demon King at all.

"Curious." Eden said.

"What is it?" Demon King questioned.

"Why didn't he destroy Gravity Thrasher when he attacked?" Eden said. "Gravity Thrasher is trapped in attack mode, and all of his special abilities have been negated from the effects of Fiendish Chain. That would make it an easier target, and we would have lost even more life points. So, why didn't he attack Gravity Thrasher?"

"I could have done that, but I think having that big guy all chained up might be better." Eraser said. "If he would have been sent to your graveyard, I'm sure you would have found some way to bring him back. I thought having that big guy taking up a space on your field might limit your options. As long as he's like that, one of your best monsters isn't going to be much help. In other words, having him on the field rather than the graveyard helps me more."

"I think I see another reason." Sylph said. "If Demon King's life points are low enough, he can attack it to deal the final blow unless Demon King can figure out a way to remove it from the field."

"But that's not really Demon King's style." Aoneko said.

"Which is why he did it." Jinn said.

"I'm afraid your troubles are only going to grow, and I do mean grow." Eraser said.

"Don't tell me that thing is going to grow even bigger and stronger." Demon King said.

"That's exactly what's going to happen." Eraser claimed. "When Zeraser LV. 5 destroys a monster both by it's ability and by battle, I can have it grow once again into Zeraser LV. 7!" His monster was growing even more. It grew even bigger and larger with it growing a set of horns, and extra set of wings grew out, and it had bladed tail now. It also had 2800atk points.

"Look at that thing!" Demon King called as he was shocked at what he was looking at.

"How's he going to beat that thing?!" Aoneko questioned as this didn't look good for him at all.

"Answer: he can't. I'm afraid it's over for you." Eraser claimed. Demon King is heading to uncharted territory, dueling against one of Interstellar's executives, lost half of his life points, has one of his best monsters unable to help, and now stands against a powerful and dangerous monster. This situation already looks pretty grim, and it might only get worse from here unless Demon King can figure out how to stop him.
