Demon King and his friends are traveling down the same way Shura and Ijuna went. However, Eraser was heading down with them as well. Even as they made their way through the stream, Eraser read their movements and stayed ahead of them. If they're going to progress much further, they'll have to get rid of Eraser first. That's easier said than done since Eraser and Demon King are dueling, but Eraser is in control of this duel. He had all of his life points while Demon King had only 2000. What's more is that one of his best, Gravity Thrasher, is under the effects of Eraser's Fiendish Chain. That means it can't attack or use it's abilities, which means it can't gain any power. So, it's stuck at 2000atk points. As for Eraser, he had one heck of a monster known as Zeraser LV. 7 at 2800atk points.
"Sorry, Demon King. It's over. With my Zeraser's power, this duel will be over before you know it." Eraser claimed.
"This duel is far from over! My turn!" Demon King said as he drew his next card. "I'll start by summoning Rescue Droid to the field!" He summoned out a robot to the field that was red and white with sirens on the back, modeled after an ambulance. It also had 1000atk points. "Next, since I successfully summoned a monster, I can summon Gravity Magician to the field!" He summoned out his magician with it having 1500atk points. "When Gravity Magician is summoned with it's ability, I can have one monster lose 400atk points!" He had his magician use it's power right on Zeraser and had it's power drop to 2400.
"Even if you weaken my monster, you can't make Gravity Thrasher stronger. My Fiendish Chain is preventing that because it's abilities have been negated, not to mention that you still can't attack with him." Eraser reminded said.
"I know, but I have something else in mind." Demon King said. "I activate Galactic Bridge! This spell allows me to draw one card. If it's a level four or lower monster, not only can I summon it, but half of it's attack points will be added to my life points."
"I see... You're getting desperate that you have to rely on chance to get you out of this jam." Eraser said.
"I wouldn't call it luck when I believe my deck will come through to me. Here goes. I draw!" He drew his next card with all of them wondering what it is. "The card I drew ended up being Hero of the Vast! It's level four, and that means I can summon it!" He summoned out his hero as it emerged with it having 1900atk points.
"Since he has 1900atk points, we gain 850LP." Eden clarified with Demon King's life points increasing to 2850.
"You can't beat my Zeraser, so you're trying to increase your life points. Not a bad idea, but it won't help." Eraser said.
"Don't be so sure." Demon King said. "I activate Gravity Shift! My spell allows me to switch the attack and defense points of one monster on the field."
"Switches them? That would mean Gravity Magician's ability was pointless. My Zeraser's original attack and defense points are the same." Eraser warned.
"Good to know, but I was planning on using it on your monster. I'm using it on mine!" Demon King said. "I use Gravity Shift on Rescue Droid!" He used his spell on his own monster as it now had 1200atk points.
"Why would you use that on your own monster?" Eraser questioned.
"I'll get to that in a moment. First, I want to use Rescue Droid's special ability." Demon King said as he stayed true to his style. "Once per turn, I can take a monster in my graveyard and return it to my deck. So, I return Edens Hermit to my deck." He claimed as he took back his card. "Now that I have that done, I activate another spell! I play Warp Wave!"
"Warp Wave?" Eraser questioned.
"Warp Wave can only be activated when both sides have a monster on the field that have had their attack points altered." Eden explained.
"That's why I had to use Gravity Shift on my own monster." Demon King claimed. "Warp Wave now causes one monster's attack points to be the same as the other, as long as they're the ones that had their attack points change. Which means that your Zeraser loses 1200atk points." Eraser's monster got caught up in a warp with it now having 1200atk points.
"It's no longer the strongest monster on the field!" Aoneko said as she was glad to see that.
"Impressive." Sylph claimed.
"Gravity Magician, attack his Zeraser!" Demon King called. His magician attacked by having gravity come down on the monster until it was crushed with Eraser's life points dropping to 3700. "With that thing out of the way, my Hero of the Vast and Rescue Droid can attack you directly!" His Rescue Droid attacked by swinging it's leg and striking him with his life points dropping to 2500. After that, Hero of the Vast attacked with its spear and that caused Eraser's life points to drop to just 600.
"He's only down to 600LP." Sylph said.
"One more attack and he should be finished. Too bad Gravity Thrasher still can't attack." Aoneko said.
"Since my Hero of the Vast attacked, it has to switch to defense mode and remain like that for a while." Demon King said as his hero switched modes and now had 0def points. "Since it's the end of my turn, Rescue Droid's attack points also return to normal." He claimed as his droid's power returned to normal.
"That was rather impressive. You started to make a comeback, but I'm sure I can make a bigger one." Eraser said as he still seemed so calm. That didn't come off as a good thing for Demon King. "I draw!"
"He's still rather calm. What could he be planning?" Eden questioned.
"You think it's an act? A bluff?" Demon King said.
"Being optimistic isn't exactly going to help us at this moment." Eden claimed.
"Never hurts." Demon King claimed.
"I summon Silent Vacuum to the field." Eraser said. He summoned out some sort of alien creature with it just being a red with the rest of it's body one big ring with wings. It also had 400atk points. "I activate Silent Vacuum's ability! By tributing it, I can summon a Zeraser from my graveyard. I think you know which one it is."
"Oh man. We went through a lot of trouble to get rid of it." Demon King complained.
"That's right. I bring back Zeraser LV. 7!" Eraser called. His monster formed a portal out of it's body with it being destroyed, but his strongest monster came slithering out with it having 2800atk points again. "If you thought his previous form's ability was bad, wait until you see what this one can do. All I have to do is send one card in my hand to the graveyard, and then any monster with less attack points is instantly destroyed."
"All of them?!" Demon King said as he couldn't believe it.
"So, I say goodbye to one White Hole to say goodbye to your four monsters." Eraser said as he discarded his card. When he did that, his monster unleashed an intense flash of light that caused all of Demon King's monsters to be destroyed all at once. It might have destroyed his own card, Fiendish Chain, but that's because Gravity Thrasher is no longer on the field.
"You may have destroyed my monsters but that doesn't stop their abilities!" Demon King said. "When Rescue Droid is destroyed, I'm able to take a monster from my graveyard and return it to my deck. After that, I'm free to draw one card. I return Gravity Magician to my deck." He claimed as he took back his card and placed it back in his deck. "After that, I draw one card!" He drew his next card, but it might not make a difference.
"It won't help you. With them out of the way, I am free to attack you directly. Attack with Galactical Guillotine!" His monster took it's bladed tail and swung it straight at Demon King. It slashed through his virtual body rather good with his life points dropping all the way to 50 and nearly caused him to wipeout.
"Oh no!" Aoneko said.
"Your lucky the monster you drew with Galactic Bridge gave you enough life points to survive." Eraser taunted. "You only have one turn left now. I don't see how you can make a comeback now."
"He only has 50LP left. How is he going to win now?" Sylph questioned.
"I don't know, but he's got out of tough situations before." Jinn said. "He does still have his skill, and he usually uses that to turn the tables."
"The odds are stacked against us, Demon King." Eden said. "Whatever we draw next must be a good one or else it's all over for us."
"I know, but we still have one trick up our sleeve." Demon King said as he was getting ready to use his skill. "Let's finish this, Eraser. I draw!" He drew his next card and got himself ready. "I now activate my skill! I can compress the data around me to add a brand new monster to my extra deck! Gravity Call!" He activated his skill and began to gather data.
"That skill of yours is rather unique. Not only would it allow you to get a new monster, but you somehow manage to keep it." Eraser said. "Not a lot of people can use a skill like that. However, it's still a skill. Which means I can use mine: Skill Erase!"
"Skill Erase?!" Demon King said as that didn't sound good for them.
"As long as my life points are higher than yours, I can cancel your skill!" Eraser said. He fired a white beam from his hand and blasted Demon King with it, causing his skill to completely fail. They all couldn't believe it.
"No way... A skill that can actually cancel another duelist's skill?" Aoneko questioned.
"I didn't know a skill like that could actually exist." Sylph said.
"I was ready for your skill. You use that to help you out of your speed duels, but now you can't." Eraser claimed. "Just like I said, this is your last turn, and I just don't see how you can make a comeback." It did appear to look rather grim. Demon King is hanging by a thread and his skill was just made useless. Is there really a way for him to make a comeback?
"You may have stopped my skill, but that's really all you did." Demon King claimed with Eraser surprised he still sounded so confident.
"It's true that we've used our skill to help us out before, but it's not vital to our plans." Eden said. "There is still a possibility of us winning, even if the odds seem like their against us. That's just as long as our life points aren't zero."
"And I have just the monster to help with that. I activate Water of Eden!" Demon King said as he played a new spell. "This allows me to summon Edens Bringer!" Demon King summoned out a brand new Edens monster. This one sporting a blue pompadour with a large coat over it. It also had markings running down its face like tears. This monster also had 1500atk points.
"A new one?" Eraser said as he's curious as to what Demon King is planning.
"Then, I summon Gravity Mixer to the field!" Demon King said as he summoned out his little soldier with it having 500atk points.
"That's the same monster he used against us." Sylph said.
"He can fusion summon with it, but Gravity Slasher needs a level five or higher monster to be fusion summoned." Jinn remembered.
"That's why I'm activating Edens Bringer's special ability!" Demon King claimed. "I can use him to increase the level of any or all monsters I have by one! That means I can change him from a level four into a level five monster!"
"It's a level five monster now?!" Eraser said as that means trouble for him.
"I now activate Gravity Mixer's special ability!" Demon King claimed. "By returning the necessary monsters to my deck, I'm free to fusion summon!" Gravity Mixer used it's power and caused the two of them to merge their powers into one. "I fusion summon Gravity Slasher!" He summoned out the very monster Jinn mentioned. It appeared on the field and had 2800atk points. "I activate Gravity Slasher's ability to cut your monster's attack points in half!" Gravity Slasher used it's power to have Zeraser's power dropped to 1400.
"This can't be!" Eraser said as he was astonished that Demon King could really make a comeback. "I erased his life points to almost nothing, stopped him from using his skill, but it still wasn't enough to beat him?!"
"I told you that it was possible." Eden said.
"Attack, Gravity Slasher! Seismic Force!" Demon King called. Gravity Slasher attacked as it swung it's blade and used the power of gravity to slash right through Eraser's monster. It destroyed it and caused all of his life points to drop to zero.
"You won this time, but it's not over." Eraser said before being logged out.
"Maybe, but it is for now." Eden said as they were glad it was.
"Hey! I'm here!" Kyubi called as she was finally able to catch up to them.
"Hey. You just missed Demon King take out another one of Interstellar's executives." Aoneko said. "I take it that you were able to beat that woman?"
"She obviously did, and you made it just in time, Kyubi. The end is coming up." Eden said. Just as the duel ended, they found themselves at the end of their trail and stood just outside an exit port. "This is where Shura got out. Remember, we don't know what to expect. We don't know what could be on the other side."
"Only one way. Time to see what lies beyond Duel Links." Demon King said as all of them went through and was entering a place that no human has probably ever gone before.
