Roy watched in horror as Monroe killed Chiko. Monroe threw Chiko away and headed towards Roy's with a gun in his hand. Roy was on his hand and knees panting hard as he shakes in anger for his new friends death. He flinches when he feels the barrel of the gun against his head but didn't move an inch. Above him was Monroe holding his bleed ear. "You and that rat has been a thorn in my side for far too long and now I will have my long awaited revenge for what you've done colonel."

Roy didn't listen to him as he was in grief for his friend, he didn't know what warranted this anger and rage but didn't care anymore. He just wanted to rest. "Your gonna pay for murder of so many lives including my father and the rest of the squad you killed just to hear the sound of your explosions you monster!"

Roys eyes widened at this as he whispered. "What?" Monroe growled in anger and yelled. "Oh so now you remember what you did you monster! My mother died of grief because of you! My only family!" Roy was about to look at Monroe when he was suddenly whacked on the head by the butt of the gun going into darkness.

Monroe was panting as he looked Roy's unconscious body. "Finally, after so many months of stuffing from your command and the satisfaction of beating you, I can finally get my revenge on you and have Hawkeye all to myself." Before he could pull the trigger, he heard a click of a gun and a familiar voice saying. "Sorry but your revange will never come,"

Monroe looked over and saw team mustang standing there with Hawkeye aiming her gun at him. "And I'm not into a man that blames others for another ones actions based on biased information." If Hawkeye was angry that time he tried to get mustang in trouble with the Furher then this means she's pissed.

All of the team except the Elrics since they weren't there glared at him in anger. "Your not getting away with this time Monroe, never again." Hawkeye had tears in her eyes as she remembered the horrible information she had received just mere moments ago.

Hawkeye returned to the room and saw the team with confused looks. She looked at them and asked. "What's wrong?" Falman answered and said. "We just saw the colonel leave with a box of his things and we're trying to figure out what happened in the meeting with the Fuhrer. Did something happen?" Hawkeye's throat tightened as she remembered what occurred in the meeting. She took a deep breath to compose herself and said. "Apparently, the colonel's actions at the warehouse caused too much damage and apparently someone called from his office before left, that was when we were ambushed. The Fuhrer was gonna have him go to the north, but he decided to resign instead."

The men's jaw dropped at this, the Colonel Roy mustang the flame alchemist, the future Fuhrer of Amestris, had resigned?!? "WHAT!?!" The men exclaimed in disbelief, Hawkeye was struggling to keep her composer and not cry right then and there. She knew something was up with the colonel these past couple of months but enough to quit. This wasn't right. As she was thinking this the phone rang and she answered it. "Hawkeye. Who is this?" "Hawkeye? Where's the colonel?!" It was Edward. "Edward? Uh, the colonel left a couple of minutes ago, why?" "Damn it, make sure he doesn't leave the base until I get there so I can show proof and punch that two-faced son of a bitch in the face!" Hawkeye composed herself and asked. "Edward, who are you talking about? The colonel?"

The rest of the team stopped talking and looked at Hawkeye after hearing that. "What? No! I meant Monroe!" Hawkeye's eyes widened in shock. He was so loud that even the guys heard it. "I know you won't believe me Lieutenant, but that guy is a two-faced liar! He's been beating the colonel, framing him and making him feel like a failure! And according to the colonel, he's also been drugging him to make him feel weak! I know you don't believe-." "I do."

Edward stopped talking, shocked that she believed him. "I know it's too late to say it, but I've been having a nagging suspicion that Monroe was lying, about everything. I just fell for his act like a fool." Havoc put a hand on her shoulder and said. "We all did." She looked at him appreciatively and went back to the phone saying. "I need to know if there's any proof you have Edward, we need it to prove that Monroe was behind all of it." "Not the kind that could get him arrested but some to prove that he's been lying to get Mustang in trouble. His mother did die when he joined but nobody knew about it until he told you Lieutenant. We don't even know how the Fuhrer knew. But there's something else." "What is it?" "Monroe has been drugging the colonel for a very long time that makes him weak. Monroe always puts it in his coffee and drink and it makes him so weak that it makes him sick."

Hawkeye thinks back during the mission and remembers how he couldn't even focus during the briefing. Then she remembered something, before the left Monroe had called someone before they left, she could barely hear it but heard something like. "Yes…..it's all a part of the plan for revenge against our fathers……. If things go south, I'll just kill him and make it look like self-defense."

She kept it in mind and was gonna bring it up during the meeting but the shock that the colonel was leaving the military shook her. "And lieutenant, I looked up Monroe's dad. He was killed in Ishval but he didn't get caught in the colonel's flames, he was killed by someone named, Kimble." Hawkeye's eyes widened at this, Kimble? It made sense now, the colonel never met Monroe and never had someone under his command called Monroe, one of Kimble's men was called Monroe before he killed them all. "Lieutenant?" "(Whispers) It all makes sense now. (Normal voice) Edward, get here as fast as you can and be ready to testify against him, we'll stop the colonel from leaving." "Yes ma'am!"

Hawkeye hanged up and left the office as the others followed, but as they walked, one of the secretaries stopped her and asked. "Are you looking for colonel Mustang and Private Monroe?" She looked at her and said. "Yes, do you know where the are?" She nodded and said. "Yes. I saw the Colonel go in the training area and saw private Monroe go in as well, saying that he wanted to 'train' with one last time before he left. No idea what that means." Hawkeye's eyes widened at this and ran to the gym quickly, leaving the others behind. When she got close, she heard the colonel screaming. "CHIKO!" She stopped mid-way and gasped.

She slowly made her way to the door and saw Monroe there, standing over her colonel with a gun to his head and Roy, he was beaten and was bleeding from his side looking defeated. Monroe talked about how this was his fault for ruining his life and the fact that the colonel murdered his father and his friends just to hear his explosions. This made Hawkeye's and Roy's eyes widen at this. This just strengthen her theory that it was Kimble that fed Monroe these lies.

Suddenly Monroe hit him with the butt of his gun and Roy fell to the ground unconscious, she felt like crying but she felt a hand on her shoulder and saw Havoc behind her with a gun in his hand with the others behind him. She nodded and got her gun out but before they made their presence known. She heard Monroe talking. "Finally, after so many months of stuffing from your command and the satisfaction of beating you, I can finally get my revenge on you and have Hawkeye all to myself." Hawkeye felt herself shiver at this, she knew that Monroe had a crush on but to go this far? He was sick.

They got out of hiding and Hawkeye was burning with anger, she aimed her gun at the man that's been torturing her colonel, her Roy and he wasn't getting away with it.

Hawkeye angrily pointed her gun at Monroe in anger with tears in her eyes. This brat had hurt her colonel right under her nose for so long. He looked at her nervously and said. "H-Hawkeye, he was threatening to kill me and the rest of us. I was just defending us and he wanted to hurt me! It was self defense."

She glared at him and said. "We heard everything Monroe. You have been hurting the colonel for a crime he didn't commit because of the lies were fed about your father." Monroe flinched at this and said while glaring at her. "So, you're gonna defend him huh? I thought you were smarter than that Hawkeye." "I am, but I was a fool to believe such blatant lies and the fact that you've been hurting him. Watch him while I check on the colonel." "Yes ma'am!" Hawkeye went to Roy and check his pulse, he was breathing but it was shallow. She noticed his wound and placed her hand on it to stop the bleeding.

Monroe chuckled and said. "I'm very disappointed in you lieutenant. I was hoping you'd be better than that but I guess was wrong." She glared at him as he continued. "And you know us Alchemist. We hate being wrong." Everyone's eyes widened at this. "Uh, We?" Furey asked nervously and Monroe just clapped his hands, held them out and everyone was blown away by the wind he created. Hawkeye rolled away from Roy and lost her gun along the way. She sat up with a groan but gasped when she heard a click. She looked up and saw Monroe pointing a gun at her head. He glared at her and said. "We could've been together Hawkeye but you just had to choose a murderous alchemist like him. You have such poor taste Hawkeye."

Suddenly, a snap echoed through the room and flames appeared at Monroes feet, making him jump back and Hawkeye fall back on her butt. "You know," Everyone looked at the voice with wide eyes and surprised as they continued. "I may have not cared what you were doing to me but my subordinates? Their off limits!"

Standing there beaten, bruised and bleeding was Colonel Roy Mustang, and he was pissed. 'He will pay for killing Chiko and hurting the woman I love!'
