"Are you sure this is the right place, Eden?" Demon King questioned.

"This is where the coordinates took us." Eden said. The two of them stood in front of some large gate, but they aren't sure what's on the other side. They don't even know where they are...or if they even are in Duel Links anymore. "I suppose the only way to figure out what's going is to go in and see for ourselves."

"Yeah, but I got a bad feeling about this place." Demon King said. He walked over to the gate to see what was on the other side. The gates opened up for them. They have no idea why they are even here, but they had to find out. Someone was set on meeting them.

...

The Real World

"Shiki! I'm here!" Rebecca called as she helped herself into Shiki's home. "I got your message! You said there was something you wanted to talk about." She walked around to try and find Shiki but couldn't. "Shiki? Where are you?" She searched around the house until she found his comatose body. "Shiki!" Concerned about him, she hurried over to him to make sure he was okay. "Shiki? Is something wrong?" She tried to make sure he was fine, but she noticed Eden wasn't with him. "Eden isn't in the duel disk. Does that mean they went into Duel Links? If so, why did he ask me to come here?" This was rather strange to Rebecca, but she then noticed a piece of paper that was apparently left for her. "A note?" She grabbed the paper opened it up.

"Rebecca, I got this strange message that was addressed to Demon King, but I don't know how someone could have sent it to me. Eden says this must mean that someone knows my identity. They asked to meet with us because they want to speak with us about something, and we were sent a set of coordinates. There was no time to wait. We went on ahead to see who this is and what they want. Get the others and try to follow after us because Eden isn't sure that his is even in Duel Links."

"Smart of Shiki to leave this, but that was probably Eden's idea. This does sound bad, though. How could someone know Shiki is really Demon King." Rebecca said. "Not even Interstellar has figure it out just yet." Rebecca didn't like how this was going. Shiki could be walking right into a trap and he seems to be on his own. "Hang in there, Shiki." She's hoping she can get the others and get to Shiki before anything does happen to him.

...

Demon King

Demon King wasn't sure what to expect when he got that message. All he knew was that someone figured out who Demon King was, and that could be a problem. When he went through the gates, he found himself in a large room that looked like the main entrance of some sort of castle.

"What is this place?" Demon King questioned. "You think someone lives here?"

"I'm not sure." Eden said. "I'm more concerned with who might know our identity. The only person outside our group that should know is Piratetress."

"But she was able to figure that out, and was friends with Grandpa. This could be the same thing." Demon King said.

"I certainly hope you are right." Eden said, but she does doubt that is the case.

"Welcome, Demon King. I see you got the invitation." They could hear a voice, but didn't see a person. That was until a light shined down and someone materialized. This person's avatar was actually strange. He had tentacles for hair and a bead with him wearing an ocean-themed robe with a blue coat. "It is a pleasure to meet you. Around here, I am called Poseidon Nero."

"Poseidon Nero?" Demon King questioned.

"Poseidon Nero..." Eden muttered as she tried to run her own search of this guy. "Poseidon is the name of powerful deity of the sea, while Nero was the name of a tyrannical emperor." She kept on searching until she came across something. "What's this?! You're labeled as a criminal by Interstellar, a much higher caliber than what they have us on."

"Am I criminal? That could be just a mere misunderstanding." Poseidon Nero claimed. "I could have just been labeled as that such as you were. They might not approve of our actions, but that doesn't mean we're criminals."

"That's true. The same applies to Piratetress." Demon King said. "We might have done things the people that run Interstellar might not like, but that doesn't exactly mean we're bad people."

"Exactly. Those fools just don't understand us." They heard someone else. She came out of hiding to reveal to be some sort of woman. She had long white hair, but her body looked like that of an android. She wore a dress with a high puffy collar and wore a mask that had three lenses on it. "A pleasure to meet you, Demon King. My name is Acnoella."

"Acnoella?! You're labeled the same as Poseidon Nero!" Eden said. "Demon King, these two are highly wanted criminals."

"Perhaps we are, but that is why we wanted to meet with you." Acnoella said.

"There's one more who goes by Deadend Crow, but he has chosen not to join us now." Poseidon Nero claimed. "We wanted to make a proposition for you to join forces with us." Join forces with them? Just who are these people?

The Real World

"Have you gotten anything yet, Weisz?" Rebecca said. She asked for the others to come over and help out Shiki, but they need to be able to get to him to help him.

"Give me another minute. I've almost got it." Weisz said as he tried to gain access to the coordinates that Shiki had in his duel disk.

"I really hope he's okay." Rebecca said.

"I'm sure he is." Homura said. "Still, I am worried as to who might have sent him the message. How could of the mysterious sender of this message know who Demon King is?"

"That's what we have to find out." Rebecca said.

"Okay! I got the coordinates." Weisz said.

"Good. Send them to me and I'll go make sure he's okay." Rebecca said. "I think the rest of you should stay here. If something goes wrong, at least you'll be able to help out and take action if needed. I have a bad feeling about all of this."

"In that case, I'm going with." Weisz said. "It might not be the best idea for you to go alone." Rebecca agreed to that.

"Be careful." Kleene said.

"Initiate link!" Rebecca and Weisz called. They both logged in using the coordinates that they were given and went on in. When they emerged in the virtual world, they found themselves at the gate that Demon King was at earlier. Seeing that, they were even more concerned about their friend.

...

Demon King

"You want me to join forces with you? I don't understand." Demon King said. "I've never even heard or met you people until now. Why do you want me to join you guys?"

"You are a powerful duelist." Poseidon Nero said. "Your skills could come in handy to us. We have big plans instore, but there will be those like Interstellar will try to stop us."

"That doesn't really tell us anything." Eden said. "What exactly are you trying to do?"

"As you know, Duel Links is a virtual world created for duelists." Acnoella claimed. "It's ever growing and ever evolving. It has become quite the site for duelists of all kinds, but why should we be limited to this place. In fact, the possibilities of what we could obtain are practically limitless. Duel Links could be the doorway to a brand new age. A brand new era could be created."

"But those in Interstellar are trying to diminish that potential." Poseidon Nero claimed. "Just look at right now. We are in a virtual world outside of Duel Links. If humans are capable of gaining access to the virtual realm like this, why should we remain limited to just Duel Links? We could go anywhere we like."

"I still don't understand." Demon King said.

"If we take control of the virtual world, we could be free to go wherever we desire." Acnoella said. "Why stop at just dueling? We could gain access to banks, hospital records, and any info we need could gain easy access to. Living in the virtual world sounds much better than it does in the real world, wouldn't you say?"

"So we have decided to create a brand new system for the people of the world to live in the virtual world, free to go anywhere they desire in the virtual world." Poseidon Nero. "It will be called the All-Link."

"You want to have people live in the virtual world?" Demon King said. "That sounds a little extreme."

"Not to mention that some places are off limits to the public." Eden said. "Accessing banks and hospitals like you say will grant easy access to criminals to steal something that shouldn't be theirs to know or have."

"But there is still so much of the virtual world to explore." Acnoella said. "Think about it. Duel Links is a fun place. It could be even greater, a virtual experience that can constantly expand. The only limitation is your creativity. An entire world would be yours to control. Does that not sound fun?" Demon King wasn't sure what to think.

"It sounds more like something Drakken Joe attempted." All of them looked to where Demon King came from and saw that Aoneko and Wiseman were there.

"Hey! You saw our note!" Demon King said being glad to see them.

"Yeah, and we overheard you talking. It doesn't sound much different from what Drakken Joe tried to do." Wiseman said. "He attempted to take control over the entire network, and it sounds like you're doing the same thing."

"You're nuts if you think Demon King wants to he a part of it." Aoneko said.

"But you aren't considering the possibilities." Acnoella claimed. "The real world is big, but we have limits. The virtual world could take all the limitations away."

"The All-Link will connect us anywhere around the world. There are no limitations to where we can go." Poseidon Nero claimed. "Drakken Joe merely acted greedy for he wanted all that the network has to offer for himself. We are acting as visionaries."

"And what is so great about the real world in the first place?" Acnoella claimed. "Even in the real world, we have become reliant on tech and network. It's time for the digital age to truly begin, and anyone who dare stands in our way shall be crushed."

"That's a weird way to say you want my help." Demon King argued. Seems like what she said didn't go well with him. "I don't want any part that involves hurting innocent people."

"But there are more possibilities that we could have here that we couldn't have in the real world." Acnoella said.

"You want to know what makes the real world great. It's because it is real." Demon King said. "Sure, this virtual reality is fun and everything, but we can't remain here. There are things the real world offers, and the real thing can be better than some virtual copy. In the real world, I was able to make real friends. Friends are something you can't do without, and the virtual world can't provide that."

"I agree with Demon King." Eden said. "Speaking as a virtual being, we can provide images, illusions, audio simulations, and much more. However, those only involve two of the five human senses. Sometimes one must use all their senses to truly experience something."

"How would you understand being just a mere A.I.?" Acnoella said.

"The one who created me was a true visionary." Eden said. "He was genius well ahead of his time, but he only used his knowledge for the benefit of others. He created me to aid Demon King. I fail to see how what you are proposing benefits so many."

"I take it this means you won't be joining us." Acnoella said.

"What a shame." Poseidon Nero claimed. "I had thought that you would join forces with us. You truly are a splendid duelist. You do things your way rather than following the will of others. Being pursued by Interstellar, we would have provided you protection. They too do not understand what we are trying to do, but it's not as if we are asking for their permission. Rest assure that if you do choose to get in our way of our goals, you will be crushed like any other enemy."

"I'm starting to see why Interstellar is after you. You people sound crazy." Wiseman said.

"And if your plans involve hurting innocent people, there's no way I'm joining you." Demon King said. It seems that they're taking a strong stand against what these two are thinking.

"I told you that it was a waste! We don't need him!"

"I know that voice!" Demon King said as he was shocked to hear that. All of them looked to the other end of the hall and were surprised to see Shura and Ijuna were there as well. "Shura!"

"We don't need him when you have me, Father!" Shura said.

"Father?!" Demon King said as he couldn't believe it.

"That's really his father?!" Aoneko said.

"That must mean that Poseidon Nero is the one Shura is working for." Eden said.

"I am glad that he invited you here, Demon King. Saves me the trouble of looking for you myself." Shura said as he was ready to rumble once again.

"Shura, your little rivalry with Demon King is not our priority." Poseidon Nero said.

"You were the one who sent Shura after us?! Why?!" Demon King said.

"I originally sent my son after you to test you." Poseidon Nero said. "After hearing about you, Demon King, I thought that you could possibly become someone I could work with. However, if you will not join me, I need someone who can reach your power. It seems that I made a wise choice because you have my son even more determined to get stronger. It might be for the goal of beating you, but I can still use it. You've pushed my son to grow even stronger."

"Blah, blah, blah. I'm ready for a fight." Shura said. "It's obvious you're not joining us, and I actually prefer it like that. We don't need you when I'm here, and beating you is exactly going to prove that."

"Now that you know of our plans, I'm afraid we can't let you leave regardless." Acnoella said. "Maybe being held as our prisoners and trapped in this virtual world will help you see things our way." It didn't seem like they were going to get out of here without a fight, but they're facing what appear to be dangerous people.

"That won't be necessary. These three are going freely while the rest of you are the ones taken down." Another surprise guest? All of them looked with Demon King and his friends surprised to see who it was.

"Piratetress!" Demon King said as he couldn't believe it was really her. A gathering of Interstellar's most wanted criminals. Some are actually good and some are actually bad. A collision of ideals is about to go down.
