Demon King received an invitation from Poseidon Nero, a wanted cyber criminal. He wanted Demon King to join forces with him, but Demon King refused. It turns out that Poseidon Nero wants to create a new era through the digital network, one that he and others can rule over, but it sounds like they want to discard the real world. Aiding him in this were other wanted criminals by Interstellar known as Acnoella and a mysterious person yet to be met named Deadend Crow. It turns out that Poseidon Nero is the father of Shura and the one responsible for what has happened up until now. Demon King and his friends weren't going to have any of that. Before any action was taken, they all saw that Piratetress arrived herself.
"Piratetress!" Demon King called as he was shocked to see her.
"My lady pirate beauty!" Wiseman called as he seemed really happy to see her.
"Good to see you, Demon King." Piratetress said.
"We haven't seen you since you helped us out with Drakken Joe!" Aoneko said. "What are you doing here?!"
"I take it the same reason you are." Piratetress said. "I received an invite to come here by Poseidon Nero himself. It looks like he made you the same offer as he attempted to make to me. So, you intended to have me and Demon King to be part of your crusade. Is that because we both have been hunted down by the likes of Interstellar?"
"Interstellar is the one who will stand in the way of our vision." Poseidon Nero said. "I had believed that being enemies of them yourselves, you might be oblige to join forces with us."
"Now there's someone I wouldn't mind on our side." Shura said as he clearly liked what he saw.
"Piratetress is a formidable duelists. Having her on our side would be beneficial." Ijuna said as he was being more professional.
"The enemy of my enemy is friend, is that it?" Piratetress said. "I can see your way of thinking, but I have no interest in joining your cause. I feel the same as Demon King on this matter. The whole thing is completely ridiculous, and I do not have any desire in being a part of it. Of course, that's not the only reason I'm here. It's not really you I came here for." She turned her gaze over to Acnoella, and one could see that there was some strong tension between the two of them.
"Hello, my dear sweet Piratetress." Acnoella said. "It's been quite a long time. How many years has it really been?"
"I would say it's good to see you, but it isn't really." Piratetress claimed. "Not exactly the reunion I was hoping for...Mother."
"Mother?!" Aoneko said as she and the others were surprised to hear that. "You mean...that lady over there is actually your mother?!"
"But judging from how they are acting towards each other, it seems unlikely that they do not get along." Eden said.
"I will admit that I am a little surprised to see that you have decided to join forces with the likes of Poseidon Nero." Piratetress said. "What brought this on?"
"He and I simply have our goals aligned for the time being." Acnoella said. "It's not just us either. You would be interested to know that Deadend Crow has joined forces with us as well."
"Deadend Crow?! You mean the Titan of Darkness?!" Piratetress said as she was actually surprised to hear that. "So, it would seem that the most dangerous criminals within Duel Links are joining forces to create some sort of digital age. However, it would revolve you having to discard the real world in the process. You are aware that doing something like that could be detrimental."
"You let us worry about the details." Acnoella said. "If you're not planning to join us, you would do best to stay out of the way."
"I can't do that." Piratetress claimed. "You might be my mother, but that doesn't mean i have to follow your orders. Your plans are insidious and must be stopped."
"In that case, there's only one thing left to do." Acnoella claimed. "Poseidon Nero, my daughter has made it clear she has no intention of helping us. Let me show what happens to those who dare oppose us."
"Very well." Poseidon Nero allowed.
"Hold on. Piratetress, are you really going to duel your own mother?" Demon King said.
"I am. She might be my mother, but she must be stopped." Piratetress claimed. It seems that there is no stopping this.
"Let's duel!"
"The first move is mine." Acnoella said. "I'll begin by summoning Lord of Dragons!" She summoned oit her monster woth it having 1200atk points. "As long as he remains on the field, dragon-type monsters cant be targeted by effects."
"Of course. After all, you are known as the Dragon Queen." Piratetress claimed
"Dragon Queen?!" Aoneko said with nervousness.
"This should be interesting." Wiseman said.
"Next, I activate Flute of Summoning Dragon!" Acnoella said. "It allows me to summon up to two dragons since i have Lord of Dragons on my field. I'm only summoning one. Dragonoid!" She summoned out a gold robotic-like dragon with it having 2800atk points. "Next, I activate my Mobius System continuous spell!"
"That's one of your favorites." Piratetress claimed.
"That means you know what it does." Acnoella said. "When I have a level five or higher normal monster, i can summon the other two in defense mode." She summoned out two more dragons with them having 0def points.
"No defense points when they're that big?" Demon King said as he thought that was weird.
"It doesn't matter when she's just going to sacrifice them." Eden claimed.
"I am now free to build my circuit!" Acnoella claimed woth the circuit opening up. "The summoning conditions are at least two level dragons! I set all three of my Dragonoids in the link arrows!" All three of her dragons dive into the arrows pointing down and in the top two corners. "I link summon Water Dragon Mercphobia!" She summoned out a long slender mechanical blue dragon with it having 2400atk points. "I'm afraid you're already at a disadvantage, my dear. As long as there is a monster next to Mercphoia's link, his special ability cuts any damage I take in half. What's more is that any monsters you summoned next to her remaining links will lose half of their attack points."
"If that's suppose to scare, you're more foolish than I thought. All I have to do is avoid those spots and get rid of your Lord of Dragons first." Piratetress said.
"Perhaps, but go ahead and try if you can." Acnoella said as she allowed her daughter to go.
"Very well! I draw!" Piratetress said as she drew her next card. "Since I have no monsters on my field, I can summon Space Pirate Shipwright to the field without a tribute!" She summoned out one of her pirates with it having a muscular frame with giant mechanical arms. He also had 2000atk points. "Next, I activate his special ability! I am now free to summon another Space Pirate straight from my deck as long as it's level three or lower. What's more is that you have to send cards from your deck to the graveyard for each of that monster's levels. I'll summon my level two Space Pirate Archeologist!" She summoned out a female pirate to the field, but she had four arms instead of two and had 900atk points.
"A pirate that's also an archeologist? Does that even make sense?" Wiseman questioned.
"Since she's a level two, you have to send two cards from your deck to the graveyard." Piratetress said, but Acnoella had no problem doing that. "Space Pirate Archeologist's special ability activates when she's summoned. I get to add one card from my hand for every other Space Pirate on my field. Since I have one, I get to draw one card." She said as she drew a card that would be helpful later. "Now, I tune my level six Space Pirate Shipwright with my level two Space Pirate Archeologist!"
"She can synchro summon?!" Aoneko said as they were surprised to know that. She apparently could as the synchro process was underway.
"As steel clashes against steel, this crusader surpasses all limitations! I synchro summon!" Piratetress called. "Appear, Space Pirate Swordsman!" She called upon a swordsman with one appearing on the field with it having 2600atk points and carried three swords, one in his mouth. "You might only take half the damage, but that doesn't matter because my swordsman is able to attack twice. Space Pirate Swordsman, attack Lord of Dragons with First Slash!" Her swordsman attacked and slashed right through Acnoella's monster with her life points dropping to 3300. "With that done, he can now attack your Mercphobia! Attack with Second Slash! Since Mercphobia is no longer linked to any monster, I can now deal full damage!" Her swordsman attacked again with it slicing perfectly through her dragon again and caused Acnoella's life points to drop down to 3100. "Space Pirate Swordsman, you lose cards for each monster he destroyed this turn."
"She keeps that up and Acnoella isn't going to have any cards left." Wiseman said.
"And that's what she's going for. She's breaking apart Acnoella's deck little by little." Demon King said as he knows how she plays.
"That's perfectly fine." Acnoella said as she pulled out the two cards she was going to lose. "And here's why. I knew you would try a tactic like that because you are my daughter. That's why I had a card ready. Here it is. It's called Dragon Remains." She said as she played one of the cards she was going to discard. "When this card is sent to the graveyard due to an effect, I get to add one dragon and two other cards back to my deck. It also allows me to draw one card." That's just what happened. She got one dragon back, as well as two of her cards. Once she put them back, she drew another card. "I know your deck, my daughter. I know how you duel because I am your mother. I'm the one who taught you how to duel."
"That might be true, but the student has surpassed the master. You'll see soon enough." Piratetress claimed. "For now, I'm just going to place one card facedown to end my turn."
"My turn!" Acnoella said as she drew her next card. "I activate Silent Doom! This allows me to bring back a normal monster from my graveyard in defense mode! Rise once again Dragonoid!" She called as one of her dragons rose back with 0def points. "Next, I activate my Mobius System continuous spell to bring back the other two dragons sleeping in my graveyard!" Her other two dragons came back to the field. "Now, I build my circuit once again! The summoning conditions requite at least two level five or higher dragons. That is why I'll set my Dragonoids in the link arrows!"
"Again?!" Demon King said as she couldn't believe she pulled that off. All three of her dragons dived into the circuits with them going into the top, bottom, and bottom left arrows. "I link summon Moon Dragon Selene!" She summoned out a new dragon that was as white mechanical dragon with it having a series of tails and as white as the moon. It also had 2700atk points. "I now activate Selene's special ability! I can summon a monster from the graveyard and place it next to her link! I select one of my Dragonoids!" She brought back one of her mechanical dragons with it in attack mode now. "I can only use my Mobius System once per turn, but that's fine with me. With these two, you'll be taking great damage! Selene attack and destroy her swordsman! Moonlight Roar!" Her moon dragon unleashed a blast of moonlight from its mouth and managed to destroy Piratetress' swordsman and her life points went down to 3900. "With him out of the way, my Dragonoid can attack you directly! Attack!" Her dragon flew in and smashed itself against Piratetress with her life points dropping all the way down to 1100.
"Piratetress!" Demon King called as he and the others didn't like this.
"I guess she isn't all that good after all." Shura said.
"I end my turn." Acnoella said. "Do you see, Poseidon Nero? We don't need the likes of my daughter. She might be considered a wanted criminal by Interstellar, but she worked with them once before. It's just that her methods weren't exactly approved of. By the way, sweetie, how is James? Oh, I'm sorry. He goes by Justice, doesn't he?
"Say what? Justice's real name is James?" Demon King questioned.
"Of course it would be a codename. Why would a parent name their child that? The same applies to the rest of them." Eden said as that should have been obvious.
"It's a shame. You two made such a cute couple, but betraying people seems to be what you do." Acnoella said. "After all, you dare oppose your own mother?"
"I would because I believe in what I am fighting for, and what I fight for is to make sure those like you get what you deserve." Piratetress said. "It's my turn! I draw!" She drew her next card and appeared to be getting serious. "I summon Flame Space Pirate!" She summoned out her flaming pirate with him having 1500atk points. "When he's summoned, I am free to summon Ice Space Pirate!" She summoned out her other pirate with the same power.
"Those are the same two she used against me. That means she's going to summon her ace: Space Pirate Captain." Demon King said.
"No. I have something else in mind" Piratetress claimed. "I now overlay Flame Space Pirate with Ice Space Pirate and build the overlay network!"
"No way! She can xyz summon, too?!" Wiseman said. The overlay network opened up with both of her pirates being absorbed inside. "Strike with the intensity of fire, and pummel those who dare challenge the crew! I xyz summon Space Pirate Fighter!" She summoned out a new pirate dressed in black with blonde hair that had the bangs covering his bangs covering his right eye. When his feet touched the ground, he had flames ignite around him just for moment. Her monster also had 2600atk points. "Watch and see, Mother. Your little girl is about to show you how much she's grown by crushing you!"
