Piratetress may have been the one dueling Acnoella, but she won't be the one to finish it. During the duel, Acnoella brought out a powerful monster that dealt Piratetress an equally powerful blow. When that happened, Piratetress apparently disappeared somehow. There wasn't a sign of her anywhere. Kyubi couldn't let things end like that, and since Acnoella must be defeated, Kyubi has decided to take her place in the duel.
"You really intend to fight me in the state things are now?" Acnoella taunted. "Just take a good look at how the field currently is." She had a point. Acnoella already had Earth Dragon Dorgrama at 2400atk points with her having 2600LP. She also had her Dragon Rage to make it so summoning monsters in defense mode wouldn't do much good and had her Mobius System ready if she needed it. Kyubi didn't have anything on her field and had only 1600LP.
"I might be at a significant disadvantage at the moment, but that will not stop me." Kyubi said. "You might be Piratetress' mother, but you have proven to be a ruthless monster. You must be stopped. If Piratetress can't do it, I will be the one to do so."
"Is that so? Well, by all means, go on ahead and give it your best try. You'll only end in defeat and misery." Acnoella claimed.
"We'll see about that! It's my turn!" Kyubi said with her drawing a card. 'I better make this turn count. Her dragon's ability will allow her to destroy every monster on my field as long it had no monsters its linked to. That's going to be a problem because it's current position makes that quite easy. There must be some sort of drawback to that ability.'
"Well? Are you going to make a move or have you already lost your nerve?" Acnoella said.
"Very well!" Kyubi said. "I'll begin by activating the Style Maiden spell! If I just simply send one Warrior-Maiden in my hand to graveyard, I can add one with a different name to my hand! So, if I just simply discard Warrior-Maiden Leopard, I can add Warrior-Maiden Dragon to my hand!" She said with her discarding her card and adding another to her hand.
"That isn't a real dragon. Nothing could match the true might, majesty, and power of a dragon." Acnoella said.
"Except that this warrior will have the power to slay dragons." Kyubi claimed. "Before I get to that, I'm activating another spell! I play Transposition! Now until the end of this turn, if I add a monster from my graveyard to my hand, I can special summon that monster to the field as long as it's level four or less. With that done, I'm free to activate the Warrior Returning Alive! This spell allows me to take a warrior that is in my graveyard and add it to my hand, but my Transposition will allow me to special summon it!" She claimed as she took her card from the graveyard and played it. "Rise and do battle Warrior-Maiden Leopard!" She summoned out her warrior with it having 1800atk points. "Now that I have that done, I am free to activate the special ability of Warrior-Maiden Tiger! When I have another Warrior-Maiden on the field, I can special summon her to the field!" She summoned out a new Warrior-Maiden with this one designed like the others, but she had stripes on her clothes with claws attached to her hands and was empowered by the tiger. She also had 1800atk points. "The downside to summoning her in such a way is that her claws are weakened by 600atk points." She claimed with her tiger now having 1200atk points.
"So what? You still can't cut down my dragon." Acnoella said until she realized something. "Unless those two are just the tribute."
"They are! I'll tribute both of them to summon my Warrior-Maiden Dragon!" Kyubi called. She tributed her two warriors and brought out her strongest one with it having 2500atk points.
"Lovely, but it won't help you. Perhaps you could defeat my dragon, but that's all you've got." Acnoella said.
"It's only going to get worse for you! Warrior-Maiden Dragon can grant herself and other 200atk points!" Kyubi said with her warrior now having 2700atk points. "Finally, I'm going to equip her with Warrior-Maiden Multi-Blade!" Her warrior exchanged her weapon with her now wielding a pair of dual blades. "Warrior-Maiden Dragon, show her that you have the power of a dragon! Attack with Dragon Flash!" Her monster went on the attack as she jumped right at Dogramag to tear that dragon down.
"As if I didn't come prepared for that!" Acnoella called. "From my graveyard, I'm activating the special ability of Dragonic Defender!"
"From your graveyard?! When did that card get in there?!" Kyubi said.
"It's thanks to my daughter. She forced me to discard a few of my cards, but it looks like it was beneficial." Acnoella said. "It would seem my daughter is actually helping me defeat you. Now, thanks to Dragonic Defender's ability, my dragon survives this attack!" Warrior-Maiden Dragon attacked by slashing against the earth dragon, but it survived with Acnoella's life points dropping down to 2300. "I told you that you couldn't beat my dragon."
"And you seem to underestimate me. I thought you my try something like that." Kyubi said. "That's why I equipped her with Warrior-Maiden Multi-Blade! It allows her to attack every monster on your field!"
"What?!" Acnoella said. She can't block a second attack. Kyubi's monster attacked again with another slash and was able to destroyed Dogramag and Acnoella's life points dropped down to 2000.
"With that, I end my turn." Kyubi said with Acnoella getting annoyed. "What's the matter? Upset that a regular human who is fine with a normal life is getting the better of you?"
"Don't sound so cocky!" Acnoella said. "You may have defeated one dragon, but I still have many more that are waiting in the wings!"
"Well, don't keep them waiting! I'll bring them all down!" Kyubi challenged. Acnoella was about to make her next turn, but there was a bit of a problem.
"If you are wondering what the drawback to using Dogramag's ability, I'm not allowed to draw during the draw phase on the following turn." Acnoella said. "However, I'm only allowed to use Dogramag's ability on the same turn I draw a card."
"I see, and since you lost your best monster already, you're already losing your advantage." Kyubi said.
"Don't start getting cocky with me! Did you honestly think I wouldn't have a way to counteract my own dragon's fatal ability against me?!" Acnoella said. Kyubi figured she would. "I still have a few tricks up my sleeve! I activate my Silent Doom! With this, the Dragonoid in my graveyard returns to my field in defense mode!" She called with her dragon returning to the field with 0def points. "Since I now have this beauty on the field, I can now use my Mobius System! That means I can summon the other two that are in my graveyard!" She claimed with both of them appearing on the field.
"She's got three dragons once again. What monster is she planning to summon this time?" Kyubi said as she didn't know what to expect.
"For your insolence, I'll bring upon you a beast of great devastation and destruction! I will build my circuit once again!" Acnoella called with her circuit opening up once again. "The summoning conditions are three level seven or higher dragons! I set all three Dragonoid's in the link arrows!" All three of her dragons flew into the arrows and went in all three on the top row. "I link summon the mightiest dragon in my deck! A king of all my dragons! Link 3 Fire Dragon Ignia!" She summoned out a red mechanical dragon now with it having flames running down its back. This dragon appeared to be the very pinnacle of destruction. It's power certainly proved that as it radiated intense heat with it also having 3000atk points. The power it was generating was so intense that Kyubi dropped down to one knee from all the heat.
"This dragon holds such intense power. It feels like I'm so close to the sun. I've never seen a dragon with such intense power." Kyubi said as she tried to endure it, but it was so hard. "It's link arrows all point to my field. It must have one devastating ability."
"You should be more concerned with its attack! Ignia, destroy her warrior!" Acnoella called. "Attack with Dragon King Fire!" Her dragon build power right in its mouth and then unleashed intense blast of fire. It completely desolated Kyubi's field with Warrior-Maiden Dragon instantly destroyed. That caused her life points to drop to 1300. The flames from that attack were so intense, but she still managed to hold on.
"I activate my equip spell's effect! When it's destroyed because the monster equipped to it was destroyed in battle, I can banish it and draw an additional two cards." Kyubi said as she got rid of her spell and drew two more cards.
"They won't help you. You are faced with the mightiest dragon I have. There's nothing you can do to stop." Acnoella claimed. "I'm placing one card facedown for that to end my turn. Your move, and it might be your last."
"We'll see!" Kyubi said. She drew her card, but she needed to think of a strategy and do it fast. She's faced with one powerful dragon and one dangerous woman. 'I have to handle this carefully. All three of that dragon's links are pointing to my field. I don't know what it can do, but I think it might be beneficial if I avoid it.' "I summon Warrior-Maiden Crane to the field!" She summoned out another warrior with her having 1200atk points.
"Interesting. You summoned your warrior on a spot away from where my dragon's links point." Acnoella said.
"Of course. I'm not foolish." Kyubi said. "I know you have something planned once I summon something to any of those zones."
"You're right about that, and that's exactly what's going to happen!" Acnoella said said. "I activate Remote Rebirth! This trap card allows me to summon a monster from your graveyard to your field and have it linked with my monster!"
"What?! You can summon my monster to have it linked with your monster?!" Kyubi said.
"That's right! I'll get the pleasure of destroying your best monster once again!" Acnoella said. She had Warrior-Maiden Dragon return to the field, but it was linked with Ignia. "Ignia's special ability now activates! When a monster is summoned next to his link, all your monsters are destroyed with you losing 800LP! Fire Rain!" Ignia's power scored the sky itself as he caused fire to rain down on the field and destroyed every monster on Kyubi's field and caused her life points to drop to just 500. "And so goes your last chance of defeating me."
"I wouldn't be too sure about that. This fight isn't over." Kyubi said. "Not as long as I'm still standing and can still duel."
"You won't be for much longer." Acnoella taunted.
"You won't scare me away. I'm the one who is going to win, and it's still my turn!" Kyubi said. "I activate Stealth Sheath! My spell allows me send one warrior in my deck to the graveyard so that I can draw one more card! That is why I'm sending Warrior-Maiden Snake to draw one one more card!" She discarded another one of her cards and drew one more. Hopefully, it's the card that will turn the tide of this duel.
"Well? Did you pull off a miracle?" Acnoella said.
"I place two cards face-down and that ends my turn." Kyubi said.
"It would seem that you didn't because miracles don't happen." Acnoella said.
"How can you be so cynical?" Kyubi said.
"I prefer being truthful." Acnoella said. "I think it's time I put an end to this duel, as well as you. I draw!" She drew her next card and was getting ready to make her final move.
"Not so fast! I activate the trap known as Warrior-Maiden Spiritual Protection!" Kyubi called as her trapped activated. "By banishing one Warrior-Maiden that is in my graveyard, I can reduce any damage I take by that monster's attack points. What's more is that as long as this trap remains on the field, any direct attacks by monsters with more attack points than the one I banished will be completely ineffective."
"Say what?!" Acnoella said.
"I banish Warrior-Maiden Crane! That means all battle and effect damage I take will drop by 1200!" Kyubi said. "What's more is that you can't attack me directly with monsters with more attack points as long as this trap remains on the field."
"So you really were betting on your two face-downs to save you, but all you did was just delaying the inevitable." Acnoella said. "Besides, it's only a minor defense. It won't be as effective as you think. It's only a matter of time until I knock that fragile wall down. In fact, this card is just I need. I activate Factory of Draco! Since I have a dragon-type monster on my field, two mecha dragon tokens appear on your field in defense mode."
"My field?" Acnoella questioned. That was when two robotic tokens appeared on her field with 0def points.
"Normally, I would have Ignia's ability finish your dragons off in one attack, but your trap prevents you from taking damage." Acnoella said. "Since I can't attack you directly, I can just simply use my trap and finish you off! Ignia, destroy one of her tokens and finish this!" Ignia unleashed it's power once again. It unleashed a devastating blast of fire and completely incinerated Kyubi's field. "It's over! There is no defying a dragon! No defying me!" Acnoella really thought she won, but she was surprised to see the flames cleared away and showed that Kyubi was still standing and didn't lose any of her life points. "That can't be?! How are you still standing?!"
"My trap has another effect." Kyubi claimed. "If I send it, as well as a copy of the monster I banished to the graveyard, I can reduce all battle damage I take for the duration of this turn zero."
"You survived?!" Acnoella said as she couldn't believe she pulled it off. "Even if you have, you had to dispose of your only means of defense!"
"That might be, but now that you attacked and I'm still standing, I'm free to activate my other trap." Kyubi said. "You were wrong when you said miracles don't happen."
"What?" Acnoella questioned as she didn't like the sound of that.
"I activate Warrior-Maiden Five Form Fist! Now that I have all five Warrior-Maidens in my graveyard, I am free to destroy the monster you attacked with!" Kyubi claimed. "You also lose life points equal to it's attack points!"
"What?! That can't be!" Acnoella called.
"It is! It's over!" Kyubi called. Her trap unleashed five rays of the five animals. They shot right through Acnoella's dragon and completely destroyed it. Acnoella couldn't believe that her mightiest dragon was defeated like that. The force of the explosion smashed into her and caused her to lose all of her life points and lost this duel. She hit the ground hard and was astonished that she was actually defeated. "Remember this from this defeat, Acnoella. You are human, and we are naturally weak beings, but that's why we have people we love. It makes us feel better about our weaknesses and insecurities. You had a daughter. She had to have meant something to you."
"Curse you..." Acnoella said before she broke into data and was gone. Acnoella fell so far in her desire for immortality, and has not only ended up with nothing, but has become nothing. The dragon queen has fallen.
