Thanksgiving was going to be extra special this year. It had to be with everything that this town had overcome. Rose was taking care of dinner with help from some of her favorite people.

Robert was sitting down at a table with the grandchildren. Seana happily sitting with him as she ate a cookie. "You know this has to stay a secret, right?"

"Right!" Seana exclaimed with a little bit of a country twang she no doubt picked up from her Grandma Tiff.

"Thank you, Robbie." Donna was having a good time, in no time they all had embraced the little girl, knowing she needed a lot of love.

Tiffany walked over to them and shook her head. "I should have known you would be sneaking them cookies."

"Every chance I get." Robert knew he was a softy and had no shame.

Felicia, Frisco, Maxie, and her kids walked in and James ran over to Robert. "Uncle Robert!"

Seana hopped down so Robert could give James a hug. "Hey, buddy. How are you?"

"Great!" James was happy to see Robert.

Sasha and Maxie were standing over to the side talking when Todd walked in. "Hi." He greeted both ladies.

Sasha smiled at the stranger. "Hi, I'm Sasha."

"I'm Todd Townley, I didn't mean to interrupt you two. I just thought you had a friendly face." Todd replied, feeling drawn to Sasha.

"Hello, I'm Maxie. Another person in the room." She quipped.

Sasha laughed. "One of my very best friends, are you new in town?" Sasha asked him.

"Yeah, just moved here. JJ invited me for dinner." Todd replied as JJ came over.

"Yes, this guy is one of my closest friends. Now if you don't mind leaving these ladies alone, I would like you to get to know Jayne some more." JJ told Todd, not wanting to interrupt but he did want Todd and Jayne to get to know each other better.

"Actually I think it's about time to eat." Rose overheard them and wanted to get everyone before they spread out.

Once everyone was seating at their rather large table, Duke asked if he could have a moment.

"It's been a year since I came back, since I found Anna again. I can't tell you how wonderful it has been." Duke took Anna's hand as she stood up.

"We wanted to take this moment with our family and friends here to let you all know that we are getting married again." Anna announced with a big smile on her face.

Robin jumped up and gave them both hugs. "I'm so excited for you both!"

Duke laughed, it reminded him so much of when she was a little girl. "I knew you would be."

They all congratulated them before they all got ready to eat dinner.

"Now I would like to have a moment." Robert stood up. "I want to thank Rosie and all her helpers for this meal we are about to have and I want to thank you all for being part of our lives. We've had a lot of loss this year but also a lot of love. This year has been one of my favorites and I look forward to many more with you all."
